#2 Oddly enough, a search of the Rantburg archives for the period 10/2/2019-12/30/2022 using the term Socotra yields only one article about those invading Zionists — from Hodhod Yemen News on 9/2/2022, well after the events supposedly in question. There were two articles in 2020 about the UAE building a military base on the island, but it was then supposed that US Marines would be the beneficiary.

At least the Cradle reporter pointed out that the second hand report was based on anonymous sources, the plan being merely alleged.
