#3 NRA hasn't been a real 2A defender since the 80s-early 90s. Several leftist in sheep's clothing got onto the board during the Clinton years and it went downhill from there. Now it is about the level of the SPLC for defending the constitution and our rights.

#5 The only reason I still have membership is my range requirements include that. Given my range membership is $200/yr for a wonderful shooting center that I had to wait 2 years to get into means I'll keep it up.
