Remember when they started loading everyone randomly without vetting because the empty seats were embarrassing the WH? The majority of the responsibility for this debacle lies among the political hacks that were directing Biden at the time. Not having a screening force is the type of military savvy of someone who thinks The Duke of Wellington cooked a mean beef tenderloin.

That is, if your concern was the evacuation of friendlies.

But OK, own it then, handing over acres of working equipment, arms, NVGs, and stores of cash was absolutely The Plan. A Bravo Job Well Done deserving of war trophies.
