#1 So this is just for recruits or does it carry on to folks in the fleet?

That might be a problem if it does as those Marines might come up with 'novel' misgendering conventions.

#4 The French Revolution had "Citizen Officers" (and the guillotine), the Soviets had "Comrade Officers" (9mm Tokarev or off to a Gulag) and the Khmer Rouge had the "Killing Fields" for anyone that didn't call someone 'Comrade'. Where on this spectrum do they want the military to land?
