#5 Pretty common; a few years ago a kamikaze squirrel tripped the breaker on the transformer can in front of our house; only took out about 20 houses though, I think; 30 minutes to respond, 3 minutes to fix.

#8 Several people in the neiborhood have complained about squirrels getting under the hood of their cars and chewing through the wiring. Expensive to fix.
