Security Footage Undermines Police Report in Death of Rosanne Boyland on Jan. 6
[Epoch Times] The new Capitol Police CCTV video was obtained through access granted by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). Previously unreleased Capitol Police closed-circuit-television footage adds crucial new details to the tragic story of Ms. Boyland, 34, of Kennesaw, Georgia, who died after collapsing outside the Lower West Terrace tunnel on Jan. 6, 2021.

The security video deflates claims made in the initial Capitol Police report that Ms. Boyland simply collapsed in the Capitol Rotunda at 5 p.m. on Jan. 6, and that the officer who observed her "wandering around the Rotunda" immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Complete timeline of the incident provided at the end of the linked article.
Nothing that the Metropolitan Police Department relayed to Ms. Boyland’s family from the Jan. 7 report turned out to be true, except that she was dead. As the security video conclusively shows, Ms. Boyland did not collapse in the Rotunda and paramedics did not find her there receiving CPR from two unnamed Capitol Police officers.

The new video only deepens the stark contrast between the indifference shown to a pulseless Ms. Boyland by police outside the tunnel and the unflinching trauma care she received from medics, police officers, and paramedics once she was brought inside the Capitol.

The video also underscores the desperate attempts to save Ms. Boyland’s life by a group of fellow protesters, who repeatedly begged police for medical help and began CPR themselves when no officers stepped forward.

It does nothing, however, to explain why MPD Officer Lila Morris beat the unconscious Ms. Boyland with a walking stick while she lay prone and defenseless on the sidewalk.

Metropolitan Police designated all uses of force on Jan. 6 as "objectively reasonable," including Ms. Morris’s striking Ms. Boyland.

Barack Obama's personal chef is seen swimming laps with ease - as questions are raised over how he drowned in just 8ft of water while paddle boarding at ex-president's Martha's Vineyard mansion
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Rescuer found Tafari Campbell, 45, in 8ft of water where he was paddle boarding

  • Campbell vanished Sunday night while he was out on Edgartown Great Pond, MA

  • The probe into his drowning continues as the Obamas posted a heartfelt tribute
Campbell, a longtime sous chef for the Obamas, vanished Sunday evening while he was out with another on Edgartown Great Pond, Massachusetts.

He was last seen struggling to stay above water. When dispatchers sent crews to the scene, they relayed: 'Edgartown Fire and Water rescue personnel... For a 40-year-old male, possible drowning.'

Witnesses first told cops Sunday night that a man - later identified as Campbell - went underwater and then briefly reappeared as he struggled to stay afloat, before submerging again around 7.46pm.

The witness - who was not identified - was paddle boarding on Edgartown Great Pond with Campbell.

Body of 43-year-old Black Male, Found in Pond Behind President Obama's Martha Vineyard Estate

[ConservativeTreehouse] UPDATE: The body of the unidentified man has been confirmed to be Barack and Michelle Obama’s personal chef, Tafari Campbell, aged 45.

(Chicago Sun Times) – […] Tafari Campbell, 45, known as one of the chefs who brewed White House honey ale beer while Obama was in office — using honey from Michelle Obama’s famous South Lawn garden — went to work for the former first couple when they left the White House.

In a statement, the Obamas said of one of the top chefs in the White House kitchen: “Tafari was a beloved part of our family. When we first met him, he was a talented sous chef at the White House — creative and passionate about food, and its ability to bring people together. In the years that followed, we got to know him as a warm, fun, extraordinarily kind person who made all of our lives a little brighter.

“That’s why, when we were getting ready to leave the White House, we asked Tafari to stay with us, and he generously agreed. He’s been part of our lives ever since, and our hearts are broken that he’s gone.

“Today we join everyone who knew and loved Tafari — especially his wife Sherise and their twin boys, Xavier and Savin — in grieving the loss of a truly wonderful man.”

The Obama’s have been spending part of the summer in Martha’s Vineyard for years.

Massachusetts State Police said Campbell was from Dumfries, Va., and “was visiting Martha’s Vineyard at the time of his passing. President and Mrs. Obama were not present at the residence at the time of the accident.” (read more)

ORIGINAL OUTLINE BELOW
The body of an unidentified black male, aged 43, was found this morning after an overnight search for a missing paddleboarder in the marsh pond behind the Martha’s Vineyard home of President Barack Obama.

Apparently, a call for search and rescue units came from the Obama home last night, and the body was located in 8′ of water this morning.

VIA DAILY MAIL – […] A massive joint-agency search resumed Monday morning for the African American male who was last seen wearing all black without a lifejacket, MV Times reported.

His paddle board and hat were recovered Sunday – and his body was found in the eight-foot-deep waters approximately 100 feet away from shore at 10am Monday. The dispatch address for the incident came from Obama’s Martha’s waterfront Vineyard home. It is unclear if the former president, 61, is currently staying at the estate.

[…] Massachusetts State Police said: ‘Shortly before 10 AM the body of the missing paddle boarder was recovered from Edgartown Great Pond by Massachusetts State Police divers.

‘MSP Underwater Recovery Unit divers made the recovery after the victim’s body was located by a Massachusetts Environmental Police Officers deploying side-scan sonar from a boat.

‘As previously noted, the victim is a 43-year-old male. His name is not being released at this time; we expect to release his name later today.

‘The recovery was made approximately 100 feet from shore at a depth of about eight feet.

‘The investigation into the fatality is being conducted by the State Police Detective Unit for the Cape and Islands District and Edgartown Police.’ (read more)

#21  Shades of Larry Sinclair. I'll venture to say this chef was another one of Obama's gay lovers.

So the official story is that chef and another person were out paddle boarding sunday night. That person saw chef fall/struggling/drowning in 8 foot of water, chef was incapacitated in that he could not use the paddle board as floatation device, a mere thirty steps (100ft = ~30 adult steps) from the shore. Instead of helping, the other person left the scene. Sounds like wet works to me.

#24  Tuesday
Water temperature in Wasque Point (Chappaquiddick Island)
WATER TEMPERATURE
71 ºF

The USSS has to have awareness of people 100ft offshore of the Lightbringer's residence. So the question is, where was Tafari Campbell's residence? Was he part of an extended household in residence, or a day worker who resided elsewhere? If the latter, why was he offshore, on a paddleboard, at night, in proximity to another person offshore? I looked at the image of the property on goggle maps and there appears to be a storage site just off the beach for several boards and kayaks. Since Tafari was an adequate swimmer, what incapacitated him, a medical emergency or recreational substance? Did the reporting other paddleboarder have a Chappaquiddick moment, since they were close enough to see the struggling Tafari and yet apparently made no effort to rescue? Did they call 911, or was it the USSS? If the latter, who were they monitoring to have become aware? Somehow, the lack of significant media coverage and information has a slightly fetid odor, musky and perhaps already slipping into the deep memory hole reserved for very powerful people's detritus?

#25  It is tough to say that the other person did the wrong thing. You would have to know the lighting and the size and life saving capabilities of the other person. The victim sounds like a strong swimmer under normal conditions. I suspect that this was more like a heart issue unless he knocked himself unconscious on the board while falling from a standing position. A large unconscious dark gentleman with low BMI is not an easy save at night in a dark pond. Joe Delaney’s death comes to mind.
As for wet work, why do this near or on the property? Send him out for daiquiri ingredients and hold him up at the grocery store. It never makes the news.

#33  If he was wearing a life jacket. He should have been, especially if he was not a strong swimmer. Surfers usually wear a leash attached to their ankles and the tail section of their surfboards so they don't have to swim all the way to the beach after a wipeout. Dunno if that's common practice among paddle boarders or not but in cases like this it might come in handy.

So, yes, if he had been following common sense safety practices he should not have simply drowned. And so, barring a medical problem, this case stinks. And whatever the medical examiner says, I wouldn't put much stock in it.

#36  The other reason that this is not some kind of a hit is that a marginal swimming sous chef doesn’t bring a paddle board to work. The owner of the paddle board has a problem if a dog paddle level swimmer is on the board without a life vest. If the man is wearing a life vest, there is no reason to abandon him even if he is unconscious.

Schweizer on Opinions Shifting on Biden: ‘This Is Going to Be the End of Joe Biden's Political Career'
[Breitbart] On Sunday’s "Life, Liberty & Levin," New York Times best-selling author, Breitbart News senior contributor and Government Accountability Institute president Peter Schweizer said he was "encouraged" by the progress made on investigating alleged wrongdoing by President Joe Biden and his family.

Schweizer predicted if the investigations continue on the same trajectory, it would be the "end of Joe Biden’s political career.

"None of this would be possible in the House, but for a five-vote majority, and the speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, who has told these guys, you do whatever you have to do to get to the bottom of this," host Mark Levin said. "And compare McCarthy, if you will, to Mitch McConnell. Have we even heard from Mitch McConnell? Have we heard from any of the Republican leadership in the Senate, whether it’s Cornyn or Barrasso, or Thune or anybody? We have the greatest corruption exposed in the history of this country, and a president of the United States who is corrupt up to his eyeballs, a Manchurian president, and they say nothing. I’ve heard nothing. Have you heard anything?"

"No, no — the only people in the Senate that have talked about this have been Senator Ron Johnson and Senator [Chuck] Grassley," Schweizer replied. In terms of Mitch McConnell, no, and as we’ve talked about on this program before, Mitch McConnell does not want to have an open conversation about Chinese financial ties involving American political families because his family is one of those. So he doesn’t want to have this conversation, and I would argue that some of the other people that aren’t talking about it, they may not have Chinese ties now, but they aspire to have some kind of financial ties with foreign entities."

"They see politics and public service as a money-making opportunity, and they believe that foreign oligarchs present that opportunity, so why muddy the waters? Why draw attention to this?" he continued. "Let’s just keep focusing on the less important issues. But this is a critical turning point, Mark. I’m very encouraged. If you look at the public opinion polls, opinions are shifting on this on what the Biden’s are doing, and I think this is going to be the end of Joe Biden’s political career."
