A criminal case for mass riots was opened due to the situation at Makhachkala airport. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus.
Previously, Makhachkala airport was closed for arrivals and departures.
“A criminal case has been opened for organizing mass riots, accompanied by violence, pogroms, arson, destruction of property, the use of firearms, explosives, as well as armed resistance to government officials,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained.
Participants in the riots at Makhachkala airport were detained. Also, those inciting riots and inciting ethnic hatred will be held criminally liable.

Sharing information about the protest, the spokesperson said the JI approached the capital administration almost two weeks ago and sought permission in writing to organise the rally from Faizabad to the US embassy in the Diplomatic Enclave.

[BLAZE] Thousands gathered for a pro-Palestine protest in Chicago on Saturday. However, a bizarre brouhaha erupted between Black Hebrew Israelites and Palestinian supporters.
An estimated crowd of 5,000 pro-Palestine demonstrators marched in Chicago's Loop on Saturday afternoon demanding a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war and that Palestine be freed.
The march supporting Gaza was reportedly organized by the Chicago Coalition for Justice in Palestine — a self-described organization to "mobilize those who seek justice in protest of Israel's violence against an innocent civilian population."
During the march, a group of Black Hebrew Israelites and pro-Palestinian protesters physically clashed with each other.

The UN agency for Paleostinian refugees, UNRWA, said "thousands of people" broke into several of its warehouses and distribution centres in Gaza, grabbing basic items like flour and hygiene supplies.
"This is a worrying sign that civil order is starting to break down," it said.
A US government official, speaking on condition of anonymity ... for fear of being murdered... , said earlier Israel was committed to allowing 100 to aid trucks into Gaza daily -- a figure the UN has said was needed to meet the most basic needs.
’ALL AREAS ARE DANGEROUS’
On Sunday Israel’s military said it had struck hundreds of Hamas targets and increased its ground forces in Gaza. Military front man Hagari vowed to "chase down" Hamas’s leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar.
The army said troops had "confronted" snuffies who emerged out of a tunnel in north Gaza, highlighting challenges in Hamas’s vast underground network to Israel’s ground operation.

’PSYCHOLOGICAL GAMES’
In Israel, sympathy has swelled for the families whose loved ones were kidnapped by Hamas and are at heightened risk as the war intensifies.
Hamas has released four hostages, but this week said "almost 50" had been killed by Israeli strikes, a claim that was impossible to verify.
"We demanded that no action be taken that endangers the fate of our family members," said Meirav Leshem Gonen, the mother of hostage Romi Gonen.
After Hamas said it was prepared to release the hostages if Israel freed the Paleostinian prisoners it was holding, Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant accused the group of playing "psychological games".
"Hamas is cynically using those who are dear to us -- they understand the pain and the pressure," Gallant told relatives of hostages, according to a statement released by his office.
Ifat Kalderon, whose relatives are believed held in Gaza, told AFP she supported the idea of a prisoner release in exchange for the hostages.
"Take them, we don’t need them here," she said, referring to Paleostinian detainees.
