I'm sure they all thought it was the fashionable thing to do. Maybe they thought a little tootski in the morning would be just the thing to help them get ahead in their careers. Then just a couple hits in the afternoon to get past that post-lunch drowsiness. But Ortega figured a little fentanyl added to the cocaine would get his clients hooked and coming back for more. He just wasn't all that good at mixing it.

If your drugs are cut with fentanyl, you should be charged with premeditated murder. No one buys cocaine to get a barbiturate opiate high. If you are doing lines, you probably been drinking - and drinking and fentanyl do not mix. Dealers should know this and should be charged accordingly.
That said, tell me if this is fair:
All three were highly educated, so they should have known that driving carries a risk - darwin wins.

Elizabeth revealed that she was sold by a rich and influential Nigerian woman, identified simply as Mrs Abiola, but the suspect used the name "Imran Abiola" on Facebook.
Speaking with SaharaReporters, Elizabeth said her passport was seized, forced to travel to Egypt for slavery where she survived rape attempts.
Recounting her experience, she said, "When I was told about the opportunity to travel to Egypt, I was not told it is for slavery. I asked her how much I would make and how I would refund the money she used to sponsor my travelling. She said I should not worry that until I reach Egypt.
"After some while, she asked me to bring my passport to start the travelling process. I gave her my passport in June 2021, I waited for about two months but I did not hear from her. I later went to ask her what is happening, she said I should not worry and be praying.
"Then when I heard what people are saying about the place, I told her that I was not travelling again and that she should return my passport. She threatened me that if I back out, she would implicate me or use my passport to bring in another person to Egypt. She did not return my passport until December 2021 when she told me that my visa was finally ready to travel to Egypt.
"I then decided to give it a trial whether the pay would be more than what I am earning at the work I was doing. Also, as a single mother, I needed money to take care of three children."
Elizabeth stated that on her arrival to Cairo, Abiola sold her to a lady identified as Raiyna who seized her salary at the end of the month.
She added that she was only given N10,000 monthly from monthly salary of N200,000.
"When I got to Cairo, she (Abiola) sold me to someone else to work for. I asked her what is happening and that was not the agreement before leaving Nigeria, she said that is what they are going to do. She sold me to one lady called Raiyna.
"She got a place I will work and I asked about how I will be paid. She said she will collect all my salary and only give me 200 pounds which is about N10,000. My salary in all the work I will be doing is about N200,000. They even said the N10,000 is for toiletries.
"I don’t have any money with me to buy anything I want because the money I was given was very small and my children are at home suffering. I depended on people to feed myself while they were enjoying my salary and sweat."
She said she was almost raped by a friend of Raiyna who lives in the house.
Elizabeth said after working for seven months and enduring sexual harassment, she contacted her friends in Nigeria who assisted in facilitating her return to Nigeria.
"After working for them for seven months, which is over one million naira of work and I have nothing to show for it, I said I can’t cope and I want to return to Nigeria.
"I started reaching out to people who can assist me to return to Nigeria. I also got money from my friends in Nigeria which I used to process it. I did not allow them to know because if I allow them to know, they can harm me and even do anything to hold me there.
"When I returned to Nigeria, I informed them that I was back to Nigeria and they started posting my pictures online, spoiling my name that I stole their money.
In one of the defaming videos obtained by SaharaReporters, a friend of Abiola, Olayinka Monsurat, confirmed selling off Elizabeth stating that they were yet to recover the money she used to process her travel to Egypt.
She said "We are looking for a lady, she came in December and she is paying but she has absconded after paying for just five months. When she goes to work, she does not drop all her salary. She claims her mother is sick. We paid up to 3,000 EGP, whoever sees her should please let us know. In fact, she stole money from her master."
Elizabeth is urging the Nigerian Embassy in Egypt to wade in and retrieve her passport from Abiola and her friends.
"I want the Nigerian government and the Embassy in Cairo to intervene and help me to get justice in my matter. I need my justice, they should return my passport and pay for my damages for trafficking me to Cairo," she pleaded.
