I don't know if it's true but legend has it Israel was about to nuke Cairo during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. They were running low on ammunition and weapons as the Egyptians attacked across the Sinai Peninsula and, rather than accept defeat, they had a nuclear armed airplane warming up on the runway before Nixon authorized the arms shipment they requested. Nixon had to have C-130s land just behind the front line to keep the IDF from defeat.

Maybe Biden and Trudeau want Israelis to nuke Gaza, Lebanon and Iran.

This initiative was undertaken to help improve the position of the Israeli military in the face of a large-scale joint offensive by Egypt and Syria, both of which had been receiving extensive support from the Soviet Union.
On 19 October, nearly two weeks after Egypt's Operation Badr, the United States pledged to support Israel's fight against the Arab countries.
