The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Saturday that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), supported by the US-led Global Coalition, arrested a dangerous Islamic State

They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. CENTCOM said in a statement, "In the early morning of April 28, 2023, Syrian Democratic Forces conducted a raid to capture an ISIS operative and degrade ISIS operations in the Deir ez- Zor province, Syria."
The statement added that the SDF "advised, assisted and enabled by Coalition Forces, planned and achieved the successful capture of Eid Hasan Hamoud al-Fahd, an assessed ISIS operative and known weapons and ammunition smuggler."
Such planned operations against weapons smugglers of the group aim "to disrupt and degrade ISIS’ ability to carry out violent mostly peaceful attacks in the region," read the statement.
It stressed commitment of the coalition in "advising, assisting, and enabling its partners to maintain security and stability throughout the region."
ISIS lost its final stronghold in Syria in March 2019. The SDF, with the support of the US-led Global Coalition, defeated ISIS after fierce battles in the town of Baghouz in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, bringing an end to the so-called caliphate declared by the terrorist ISIS.
After Baghouz, thousands of ISIS forces of Evil were transferred to prisons, while their families were transferred to Hawl and Roj camps in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES)-held areas.
