Iran sentences 2 to death in connection with Shiraz attack

The two sentenced to death were convicted of "aiding in the corruption on earth, rebellion and action against the security of the country," the chief justice of Fars province Kazem Mousavi announced, according to Mizan Online.
Mousavi said the pair was directly involved in arming and guiding the main perpetrator of the attack who was killed in a clash with police forces during his arrest.
Thirteen people were killed when a gunman attacked the Shiite holy site of Shah Cheragh in Shiraz last October. Authorities quickly blamed Sunni Moslem murderous Moslems.
Three other defendants were handed prison sentences of five, 15, and 25 years for membership in the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
