#1 I dont think this ever got the necessary critical mass and largely remained a student protest (outside their stans and tribal areas). General Strikes never occurred. Trade Unions mostly stayed out of it. Things seem to be fizzling out after regime threatened protesters over the weekend. Could be just a lull.
