Germany: 1 dead in knife attack at asylum shelter

[DW] Police said the suspect is believed to be a resident at the home for asylum-seekers on Lake Constance in southern Germany. He allegedly "stabbed indiscriminately" at other shelter occupants during the overnight attack.
Betcha it turns out to be Sudden Jihad Syndrome. The gentleman in question filed for asylum after he arrived illegally by the usual routes sometime following Angela Merkel’s invitation.. His final appeal was just rejected. He’ll either be a known wolf who is mentally ill or connected to ISIS or another jihadi group. At least one person has died and several other people were maimed in a knife attack at a shelter for asylum-seekers in southern Germany, police said.
A police statement said the attacker knocked on several doors at the facility in Kressbronn
...that’s in the state of Baden-Württemberg... on Lake Constance late Sunday and "stabbed indiscriminately" at anyone who answered.
The suspect, a 31-year-old man who is believed to be a resident at the shelter, was later arrested by officers.
One man died at the scene and five other people were hospitalized with injuries.
Forensic specialists were investigating the scene on Monday morning.
Police said they have yet to establish a motive for the attack.
A 38-year-old Syrian man died on the spot. Those injured included a 37-year-old man and four women aged between 28 and 34.
It's unclear whether the attacker is the 31-year-old man who rioted in the same refugee accommodation in Kressbronn last month, threatening others with a knife.
