AZ Election Auditors Claim Maricopa County Officials Deleted Databases from Voting Machines Before Handing Them Over

[American Greatness] Maricopa County election officials tampered with election records just days before the equipment was delivered to the Arizona Senate for the 2020 election audit, according to the Senate Liaison for the Maricopa County 2020 Forensic Election Audit.

Before the machines were turned over, a directory full of election databases was deleted by an administrator, resulting in spoliation of evidence, the Maricopa County Audit’s official Twitter account alleged in a tweet late Wednesday.

State Senate President Karen Fann wrote a letter to Jack Sellers, the chairman of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, demanding an explanation as to why the databases were deleted.

"We have recently discovered that the entire "Database" directory from the D drive of the machine "EMSPrimary" has been deleted," Fann wrote.

Tampering with Evidence is a felony.
Note: B. Inadmissibility of the evidence in question is not a defense.

But since this is regarding a Federal Vote Tampering, wouldn't this be a Federal Crime?

#5 If the file was simply deleted and the media is still available, then it is likely recoverable. Which could be 'interesting'. If it was instead scrubbed (think Hillary/Bleachbit) it will not be recoverable, but that would be 'interesting' by itself.

#6 If I understand it correctly they erased the theft so now that a count of the ballots will result in the true count and it won't match the one that was announced and everyone on the left will scratch their head at the discrepancy or claim the audit invented ballots or something to change the numbers.

But... it should be enough to push through voter ID and other laws in a large number of states.
