[KhaamaPress] At least six children were killed and further two women maimed after a planted mine went off in a residential area in Sancharak district of the Northern province, the 209th Shaheen Corps said in a statement Thursday.

The incident happened at around 5:45pm Wednesday evening.

According to the statement, the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was planted by the Taliban
