*Personally, I like Lavrentiy Beria version - because I like to think that the Lord moves in mysterious ways.

#3 Stalin became anti-Israel a few years after Israel was founded. Most believe it was because Israel's ambassador to the Soviet Union, Golda Meir, brought up the subject of letting Soviet Jews come to Israel.

that is one theory of why Stalin voted for the creation of the state of Israel
other theories
- he just was being anti British
- he was bribed
- God

After the fall of the Soviet Union, Stalin's surviving works have been combed through again and again. We do not have anything to distinguish between these theories.
