#4 Centrist and fiscally sensible on the editorial page rather than conservative, it seems to me. The reporters are some of the best put out by the leading journalism schools, which means they’ve been pre-sorted for attitude. They just have better manners than the NY Times hires — no walkouts or protests in the newsroom.
