#3 And here I thought wind sprints were hard! It may be a bit unorthodox as far as sports training goes, but if you can survive being eaten by a crocodile, you are one tough sonovabitch.

If you think about it, there is an evolutionary basis for this. We are the descendants of people who did *not* get eaten by crocodiles, trampled by elephants, or felled by plague. Not dying really is the key to the evolutionary benefits program.

#4 Not dying and having kids, SteveS. Though of the two, having kids is more important — once they’ve been born, so long as there is someone to care for them, the genetic parents aren’t quite as critical.
