#1 Chamberlain's actions and name became a synonym for failure. The obvious excellent leadership of Churchill left a bad taste. Smith was summarily betrayed. Dr. Christiaan Neethling Barnard was no Liverpool footballer. Then there was Camilla Parker Bowles's. The more recent antics and character missteps of Andrew have yet to be fully revealed. Much of anything American generally produces a less than positive response. Perhaps they cannot get the successful young man Musk out of their nostrils either.

Give them a healthy severance package, pack them all off to exile in Balmoral and be done with it.

#2 It does skip a generation or two now and then, but it keeps popping up.

With inbreeding of the small island royalty apparently it sometimes becomes a dominant gene.
