I beleive this person is mistaken. The school is, was and will be the taxpayer's. It was never "yours" to begin with, and thus can never be "retaken", but taken. That means stealing. Which means you are nothing more than common thieves attempting to take what does not belong to you. You should be justly treated as such.

I believe that NYU is a private school. I suspect that many alums would have issues with supporting palestinians.

"Taking back" the school implies that they "had" the school at some point.

budgetary disclosure Sounds like tuition is going up.

#14 Kids, here is some free advice: if you want to "take back NYU", you need to graduate, get a REALLY good job, make LOTS of money, donate it to your alma mater, and get elected to the board of directors. You can also use the money you inherit from Mommy and Daddy.
Unfortunately, such a plan will take many years - possibly your whole life. And by the time you accomplish it, I'll bet that your priorities and views will have changed quite a bit. You'll probably look back and think "what a moron I was back then".
