…especially given the devastation. Hundreds of game wardens, state troopers, and National Guard all RAPIDLY deployed. And they’re doing a fantastic job.

They’re working around the clock, and they will NOT stop until everyone is accounted for,

#1 I looked at some precip data. Several stations had over 10" and some even had over 15" in 48 hours.

#2 Coming back from Rockport yesterday, we overtook a Texas Highway Patrol convoy heading north on the road between Victoria and Cuero: two inflatable launches on trailers and several patrol SUVs. We presume they were heading north to assist.
My daughter is supervising the resale of a property in Kerrville, and has been going there every week for a couple of months - she knows the area passingly well. The flood just came out of nowhere, without warning, in a matter of a few hours.
