#4 Have experience and a cert is all you need to get into IT, and experience is easy to get. Everybody and their mother is hiring bodies to do tier 1 helpdesk where you read out of a 3 ring binder. Do that and get a cert you are in. Don't need a degree.

Not really. We have the same thing in Israel. And for these who ARE employed in IT, the salaries went way down.

#6 Computer Engineering Jobs get reserved for Indians. It's called USI and our domestic economic zone extends right into the subcontinent where techs like me have to compete with a population of a billion plus people. I hear more about Diwali than Easter in work life anymore... India is not facing computer engineering unemployment b/c India hires India.

I hear more about Indian Holiday Diwali than Easter.
