#3 Wind power in Texas is problematic. If it's too cold, the generators break down. If it's too windy, the blades have to be feathered. If it's not windy enough, they don't generate any power.

Solar is marginally better, but nuclear is the way to go.

#4 Good. Now mandate that they be location diverified, and connected to reliable fuel sources. Won't do any good if they're all in the same place, tied to the same feed.
Wind turbine farms wouldn't exist if it wasn't for federal subsidies and too much loose investment capital chasing an ESG score.
