#4 In Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail there is a picture of Hubert Humphrey speaking into a microphone with the caption "I was once a Jew myself." It was a commentary on pandering to the electorate. I'd imagine it might not have made it into more recent editions.
