Pakistan Security Forces kill 9 TTP militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa operations
2025-05-27
[KhaamaPress] Pak forces killed nine TTP Lions of Islam in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, seizing weapons and intensifying operations amid rising regional security threats.

Pak media, citing the country’s military, reported on Sunday that nine members of Tehrik-e-Taliban
...Arabic for students...
Pakistain (TTP) were killed in separate security operations across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. The Pakistain Army referred to the Lions of Islam as "India-backed Khawarij," a term often used to denote bully boy outlaws.

According to Dawn News, the military launched three coordinated operations. In the first, four Lions of Islam were killed in Dera Ismail Khan
... the Pearl of Pashtunistan ...
after an intense firefight. In the second, conducted in the Tank district, two suicide kaboomers were neutralized. The third operation in Bagh, Khyber district, resulted in the deaths of three more TTP members.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that arms and ammunition recovered from the Lions of Islam were previously used in multiple attacks in the region. The military emphasized that clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats and foreign-linked elements.

These operations follow similar anti-militancy raids last week, during which 12 Lions of Islam from TTP and the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) were killed. Incidents were reported in Lakki Marwat, Bannu, and North Wazoo, where two soldiers also bit the dust during firefights with Death Eaters.

Pakistain’s military has also accused India of backing murderous Moslem groups and using intelligence assets to destabilize the country. The accusations were reiterated last month by a military spokesperson, fueling ongoing diplomatic tensions between the two South Asian nations.

While Pakistain’s security forces continue their counterinsurgency efforts, the persistent threat posed by TTP and affiliated groups highlights the fragile nature of regional security. The cross-border dimension of the conflict, including alleged external support, remains a pressing concern for Islamabad.

At least three terrorists killed in Tank IBO: ISPR
2025-03-09
[GEO.TV] At least three bad boyz were potted by security forces during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Tank district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

A statement from the military's media wing said security forces conducted an operation based on the reported presence of terrorists.

"During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, as a result of which, three khwarij were sent to hell," the ISPR said.
"Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200"
It added that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians.

"Sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area," it said, adding that the security forces were determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.

The country has been reeling under increased terrorist attacks targeting especially the law enforcers and security forces since the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
returned to power in Afghanistan in 2021, particularly in the bordering provinces of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
The country witnessed a sharp increase in terror attacks in January 2025, surging by 42% compared to the previous month, according to data released by the Pakistain Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), a think tank.

The data revealed that at least 74 murderous Moslem attacks were recorded nationwide, resulting in 91 fatalities, including 35 security personnel, 20 civilians, and 36 murderous Moslems. Another 117 individuals sustained injuries, including 53 security forces personnel, 54 civilians, and 10 murderous Moslems.

TTP claims killing 35 Pakistani soldiers in South Waziristan attack, Pak Army sez only 16 dead
2024-12-23
[KhaamaPress] The Tehrik-e-Taliban
...the once and current oppressors of Afghanistan...
Pakistain (TTP) announced in a statement that it killed 35 Pak security personnel in an attack in South Wazoo last night. Pak authorities confirmed the attack but reported 16 soldiers killed and 9 others injured.

The TTP grabbed credit for the attack, stating they targeted a military post in the Makeen area of South Waziristan, located in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP), also known as the Pakistain Taliban, grabbed credit for the attack, reporting a higher corpse count than official figures.

In a message broadcast on their WhatsApp channel, the group stated, "At least 35 security personnel were killed and 15 injured in the attack." They did not mention if any of their fighters were killed.

The group also alleged that they seized a significant amount of military equipment from Pak forces during the attack.

This assault follows the TTP’s acknowledgment of the death of Maulana Taha, a big shot of the group, in a recent military operation by Pak forces.

Pak media reported that Maulana Taha was killed on Wednesday during an operation in the Tank district of Dera Ismail Khan
... the Pearl of Pashtunistan ...
TTP spokesperson Mohammad Khorasani confirmed the death, describing Maulana Taha as a prominent scholar from Swat
...a valley and an administrative district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistain, located 99 mi from Islamabad. It is inhabited mostly by Pashto speakers. The place has gone steadily downhill since the days when Babe Ruth was the Sultan of Swat...
and an active member of the group’s leadership council and fatwa-issuing body.

Pak officials have repeatedly accused the Afghan Taliban of providing support or a safe haven for TTP fighters to launch attacks against Pak forces. However,
the difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits...
the Afghan Taliban has denied these allegations, stating that Afghanistan’s territory will not be used against neighboring or regional countries.

Seven TTP members, including senior leader, killed in Pakistan
More on this story from yesterday.
[KhaamaPress] Pak media have reported that seven members of the Tehrik-e-Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
Pakistain (TTP), including a big shot, were killed by the country’s security forces.

According to Express Tribune on Saturday, December 21, the individuals were killed during an operation in the southwest of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistain.

The report confirmed that Ali Rehman, also known as "Maulana Taha Swati," a senior TTP leader, was among those killed in the operation.

The TTP has not yet commented on the incident.

Meanwhile,
...back at the bunker, his Excellency called a hurried meeting of his closest advisors. It was to be his last. They discussed the officers's efficiency rating system...
other reports indicate that a Pak security post in the Makeen area of South Wazoo was attacked last night.

According to reports, the attack resulted in the deaths of 16 Pak soldiers, with eight others injured.

Pak authorities have not yet issued a statement regarding the attack.

This comes as Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has experienced a surge in deadly TTP attacks against Pak forces in recent months.

The escalating violence in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and other tribal regions highlights the deteriorating security situation in Pakistain. Frequent attacks by the TTP have intensified the conflict, leaving both military personnel and civilians vulnerable.

2 terrorists, including ‘high-value target’, killed in Tank operation: ISPR
2024-01-06
[Dawn] Two terrorists, including a “high-value target”, were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank district, the military’s media affairs wing said on Friday.

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said security forces conducted an operation late last night on the “reported presence of terrorists”.

“After an intense fire exchange, two terrorists, including HVT Gul Yousaf Toor, were sent to hell,” it said.

The ISPR stated that Toor had “remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces, including high-profile terrorist attacks in Tank and Dera Ismail Khan districts as well as extortion and target killing of innocent civilians”.

“He was highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies and [the] government had fixed head money of Rs2.5 million on him,” the ISPR added.

The military said residents of the area appreciated the security forces’ efforts in “maintaining peace and stability in the area”.

“Security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country,” the statement concluded.

Pakistan has witnessed an uptick in terror activities in the past year, especially in KP and Balochistan after the banned militant Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan had ended its ceasefire with the government in November 2022.

In the deadliest attack on security forces in the outgoing year, at least 23 Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred and more than 30 troops wounded on Dec 12 after militants belonging to the Tehreek-i-Jihad Pakistan stormed a compound used by the military in Dera Ismail Khan’s Daraban area.

According to an annual security report issued by the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), Pakistan witnessed 1,524 violence-related fatalities and 1,463 injuries from 789 terror attacks and counter-terror operations in 2023 — marking a record six-year high.

KP and Balochistan provinces were the primary centres of violence, accounting for over 90 per cent of all fatalities and 84pc of attacks, including incidents of terrorism and security forces operations.

The bad boyz were potted when the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on the "reported presence of terrorists", the military's media wing mentioned in a statement.

Whilst the operation was underway, an intense exchange of fire took place between the Pak troops and the turbans, and resultantly, "ten turbans were sent to hell".

"These turbans remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as extortion [and] killing of innocent civilians," the ISPR said.

Following the successful operation, the security forces recovered a large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives from the dead turbans.

In response, locals of the area appreciated the operation, the ISPR said, noting that the "security forces of Pakistain are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country".

With a spike in terror activities since Tehrik-e-Taliban

Pakistain (TTP) announced an end to a ceasefire with Pakistain last year in November, the forces have ramped up operations against turbans.

Pak authorities have blamed Afghanistan for allowing hard boyz to use its soil, with interim Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti saying that 14 of 24 suicide kabooms in the country this year were carried out by Afghan nationals.

The government, as a result of these activities, has ordered all illegal immigrants colonists, including 1.73 million Afghan nationals, to leave the country or face expulsion.

According to a statistical report released by the independent think tank Pakistain Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), at least 271 turban attacks took place during the first half of 2023, resulting in the loss of 389 lives and injuring 656 individuals.

Terror activities in the country soared by 79% during the period.
