Islamist Inmates Exempt From Dog Sniffing Searches, Union Boss Claims
2025-04-20 | |
[Breitbart] In the wake of the stabbing of multiple prison guards allegedly by the Manchester Arena terrorist, the head of the largest prison officers’ union revealed that the prison was barred from conducting searches with sniffer dogs on Muslim inmates. Earlier this month, four prison officers at His Majesty’s Prison Frankland were injured with boiling oil and a makeshift blade. ![]()
On Sunday, the national chair of the Prison Officers’ Association, Mark Fairhurst, claimed that Abedi and other Islamist inmates in Frankland were exempt from searches with trained K-9s on the order of the prison’s management committee, which sided with Muslim prisoners, who complained that contact with dogs went against their faith. “When it first opened, every prisoner housed on that unit was thoroughly searched on the unit, and when they left the unit and when they returned to the unit. On occasion, dogs were used,” he told The Sun. “The prisoners complained that it interfered with their religious beliefs. The management committee overruled the staff and removed the dogs from searching those prisoners.” “We appease these prisoners and pander to them. Why? Why are we so obsessed with upsetting prisoners, terrorist prisoners, whose sole purpose is to murder prison officers?” This critique was seconded by Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick, who said: “It’s pathetic if HMP Frankland has folded to Islamist prisoners and allowed them to circumvent security checks. “This would allow Islamist gangs to control prison wings across the country. Officers should not fear being labelled racist if they step in to restore order and control from radical Islamist prisoners.” According to the paper, unnamed sources within the Ministry of Justice denied that there had been any operational changes regarding the use of dogs in searches, including at the Falkland prison. Yet, in a statement which seemingly skirted an official denial, Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood said that the government will seek to “strengthen” the defences of prison staff and the public. She said that in the wake of the stabbing attack at Falkland, the “Prison Service will also conduct a snap review into whether protective body armour should be made available to front-line staff.” There have been increasing concerns about the Muslim prison population in Britain, which accounts for nearly a fifth of all prisoners despite Muslims only making up around 6 per cent of the country’s population per the latest census. A 2022 report on the growing influence of Muslim gangs in British prisons by anti-terrorism legislation reviewer Jonathan Hall KC found that such groups were “encouraged” to attack non-Muslim prisoners, as well as on prison staff. The report found that “self-styled emirs” used “enforcers” to exert control over areas of the prison and that there were failures to push back against this by authorities for fear of appearing racist. Libyan Manchester Arena Bomber Had Strong Radicalising Influences

Abedi’s journey began in 2013, four years before the attack, but Wilkinson believes there were "moments of opportunity" when it could have been disrupted.
He attributed the radicalization to a "long period of alienation with conventional English instruction."
Abedi, on the other hand, had "extremely low attendance rates." He was sent to Burnage Media Arts College’s ’inclusion’ section for damaging school property, before being permanently expelled. ![]()
Teachers told the investigation that Salman and his younger brother Hashem, who helped create the bomb, couldn’t focus in class and were easily distracted. Wilkinson said Abedi had a "repeated pattern" of beginning to engage in formal schooling and then "dropping away, disengaging, and slipping into delinquency and even violence very fast." The payments ended just days after her son, Salman Abedi ![]()
The Daily Mail added that official documents released to the Manchester Arena Inquiry disclose the 55-year-benefits old’s bonanza, which suggest she failed to notify HM Revenue & Customs that she was leaving the United Kingdom (UK).
The payments stopped nine days after the Arena incident, on May 31st, 2017. Tabbal’s debit card was used by her sons to buy components for the deadly bomb, according to a jury in the Old Bailey trial of Salman Abedi’s younger brother, ![]()
Hashem was convicted of 22 charges of murder and sentenced to at least 55 years in prison. There is no proof that Tabbal was aware of or participated in the Arena attack, but the investigation has heard that she voiced sympathy on Facebook for the Libyan February 17th Martyrs Brigade

Two separate deposits totaling £3,200 were made by unknown sources into his RBS account in January 2017, shortly before the bank closed it over suspicions about fraud. ISIS bride Shamima Begum says she'd 'rather die' than rejoin group

[NYPOST] ISIS bride Shamima Begum
![]() to allow her to return to the UK, saying in her first live TV interview she’d "rather die" than go back to the jihadists. "I know there are some people, no matter what I say or what I do, they will not believe that I have changed, believe that I want to help," she told ITV’s "Good Morning Britannia." Begum was just 15 when she and two classmates set off for Syria to join ISIS. She has said she married an bad boy from the Netherlands and had three children, all of whom have died. Now 22 and living in a refugee camp in Syria, Begum has sought to return home, but the British government revoked her citizenship on national security grounds in 2019 and she has fought unsuccessfully to have her passport restored. Begum, who wore lipstick, a gray tank top and a Nike baseball cap for the interview, said she had been misled when she went to Syria. Addressing the prime minister, she offered a critical message: "I think I could very much help you in your fight against terrorism because you clearly don’t know what you’re doing." "I did not want to hurt anyone in Syria or anywhere else in the world. At the time I did not know it was a death cult, I thought it was an Islamic community," she said. Sajid Javid, who as home secretary made the decision to revoke Begum’s citizenship, stood by his choice, telling ITV News on Wednesday that it was "absolutely the right decision." "When I saw what I did and the information I received from my advisers and our intelligence agencies, in the end it was a very clear-cut decision," Javid said. Begum acknowledged that it might be difficult for some Britons to forgive her, as they have lived "in fear of ISIS and lost loved ones," but noted that "I have also lived in fear of ISIS and also lost loved ones." Begum has described the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing — in which 22 people died when jihadist Salman Abedi detonated a suicide bomb — as a "retaliation" for military strikes on ISIS strongholds. "I do not believe that one evil justifies another evil. I don’t think that women and kiddies should be killed for other people’s motives and for other people’s agendas," she said. Begum added that when she initially made the remarks, she did not know that women and kiddies were hurt in Manchester. "I did not know about the Manchester bombing when I was asked. I did not know that people were killed, I did not know that women and kiddies were hurt because of it," she said.

Security guard says he didn’t confront 2017 Manchester bomber for fear of being called racist
2021-06-18 | |
[IsraelTimes] Security teams at Britannia’s Manchester Arena "should have prevented or minimized" the impact of the 2017 terror attack at an Ariana Grande concert that killed 22 people, a public inquiry finds. The suicide kaboom, as concert-goers were leaving the show, was perpetrated by 22-year-old Salman Abedi, ![]()
In a report examining security measures at the venue in northwest England, inquiry chairman John Saunders says Arena operator SMG, security provider Showsec and British Transport Police all missed opportunities to either prevent or mitigate the attack, which took place on May 22, 2017. "The security arrangements for the Manchester Arena should have prevented or minimized the devastating impact of the attack," he writes. "Salman Abedi should have been identified on 22nd May 2017 as a threat by those responsible for the security of Arena and a disruptive intervention undertaken. "Had that occurred, I consider it likely that Salman Abedi would still have detonated his device, but the loss of life and injury is highly likely to have been less," he adds. The inquiry had heard that an officer from British Transport Police was supposed to be present in the foyer of the arena at the end of the show, where the bomb exploded, but nobody was there. A Showsec security guard also told the inquiry that he had a "bad feeling" when he saw Abedi around five minutes before the attack, but did not approach him for fear of being called a racist. "I felt unsure about what to do," says Kyle Lawler, who was aged 18 at the time of the attack. "I did not want people to think I am stereotyping him because of his race." Lawler says he had tried to radio the control room, but that he gave up as he could not get through due to radio traffic.

Court Refuses to Grant Immunity to Manchester Arena Bomber's Brother

[LIBYAREVIEW] A court declined to grant the older brother of the Manchester Arena bomber immunity from prosecution if he testifies in front of a public inquiry, according to The Independent. Ismail Abedi denies knowing about or being involved in the attack on May 22nd, 2017, but has so far refused to participate with the investigation, citing legal privilege against self-incrimination.

Ismail Abedi requested that the public inquiry obtain assurance from the attorney general that any evidence he provides will not be used against him in future criminal cases. In his ruling, Sir John said allowing immunity to get Abedi to co-operate did not outweigh the potential effects on the administration of justice. "If as a result of an undertaking from the Attorney General, the applicant was to disclose material to the inquiry which provided evidence to justify charges of murder or conspiracy to murder, then he could avoid trial for 22 murders and causing serious injury to many more," he said. "While less serious, if he were to disclose material... which evidenced a failure by him to disclose information to the authorities which could have prevented the bombing happening, a failure to prosecute would be considered by many to be a considerable affront to justice." Abedi is expected to be served with a legal notice soon which will "require" his attendance in person at the inquiry and while he will be entitled not to answer questions on the grounds of self-incrimination, he will have to justify why and on what grounds he is refusing to answer. On Monday, Hashem Abedi,
Abedi, 23, made the admission in October, while in prison, as he was visited by two members of the public inquiry’s legal team, according to the Telegraph. He had previously pleaded not guilty "Wudn't me." earlier this year to 22 counts of murder, attempted murder, and plotting to cause a kaboom likely to endanger life. He did not give evidence at the Old Bailey but provided a prepared defence statement in which he denied involvement, claimed to have been "shocked" by what his brother had done, and said he did not hold holy warrior views. He went on to be convicted by a jury of all the offenses and was given 24 life sentences in August, with a minimum term of 55 years before being eligible for parole. On 22 October, Abedi was interviewed in prison where he admitted he played "a full and knowing part", the inquiry was told. Abedi had been in Libya at the time of the attack but was suspected by the police of having played an integral part in the planning and preparation of the bombing. He was eventually extradited by the authorities in Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... , despite denying any knowledge or involvement in the attack. His admission was confirmed by Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Barraclough of the Greater Manchester Police, who was the senior investigating officer in the attack probe. In a statement made to the police following his arrest, he insisted he had no involvement in his brother’s activities. He told officers, "During the last two years I have been held in Libya by a militia and subjected to torture. It has been a difficult time for me for a number of reasons." Six Libyans Wanted by British Police over Manchester Arena Bombing |
2020-11-07 |
[LIBYAREVIEW] Six Libyans are wanted for questioning by the British Police investigating the Manchester Arena bombing, according to the BBC.The parents of the Libyan brothers responsible for the attack are both suspects, as are two associates. One of the associates, who was arrested following the attack, was able to flee the UK, despite remaining a suspect and being charged with other offences. Two further men are of interest to the police but have not yet been questioned. Salman Abedi detonated a bomb at the end of an Ariana Grande concert on 22 May 2017, killing 22 people and injuring hundreds. His younger brother Hashem, who was central to the attack, was enjugged Youse'll never take me alive coppers!... [BANG!]... Ow!... I quit! this year after being convicted of murder. Ramadan Abedi, father of the attackers, is wanted for questioning. This is after his fingerprints were found inside a car used by the brothers, to store explosives and bomb-making material. The vehicle was owned by the brothers for two days, before travelling to Libya with their father in April 2017. While in Libya, the car was parked outside the property of an associate, named Elyas Elmehdi, who is one of the four outstanding suspects. On arrival back in the UK in May 2017, days before the attack, Salman returned to the vehicle to collect material from it. Police also wishes to speak to Samia Tabbal, the mother of Salman and Hashem, who is also currently in Libya. Mohammed Soliman is another suspect. He purchased a bomb-making chemical for the brothers, but left Manchester for Libya in April 2017. The two other people that police want to trace are Majdi Alamari, who lives in Libya, and Anas Abuhdaima, whose location is unknown but is believed to be somewhere in the UK. |

Manchester suicide bomber attended anti-Netanyahu protest 2 years earlier |
2020-10-11 |
[IsraelTimes] Salman Abedi, who killed 22 people at an Ariana Grande concert in 2017, was already on MI5’s radar when he joined demo by Corbyn-backed group against London visit by Israeli PM. By your friends do we know you. Congrats, NeverNetanyahuers. Love what you’ve done with yourselves. The terrorist who killed 22 people in a suicide kaboom in the British city of Manchester in 2017 had attended a protest against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to London two years prior to the attack, the Daily Mail reported Friday.Salman Abedi attended the September 2015 protest organized by the Paleostine Solidarity Campaign, an organization backed by former UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn. There was no suggestion that Abedi was formally linked to either the PSC or Corbyn. According to the report, Abedi was among a group who traveled from Manchester to attend the Downing Street rally before moving to a second protest outside the United Arab Emirates embassy. The newspaper said the second protest was organized by a British group that supported a Libyan militia with ties to al-Qaeda’s Ansar al-Sharia ...a Salafist militia which claims it is not part of al-Qaeda, even though it works about the same and for the same ends. There are groups of the same name in Libyaand Yemen, with the Libyan versions currently most active. Tunisia's Shabaab al-Tawhid started out an Ansar al-Sharia and changed its name in early 2014. It still uses the old name now and then, probably because the stationery's not all used up and the web site hasn't expired yet... Two years later, inspired by Islamic State ![]() Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... , Abedi detonated explosives among crowds of mostly young people leaving an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena. A public inquiry heard last month that Abedi was associated with six MI5 "subjects of interest" and visited an incarcerated terrorist twice prior to the attack. According to the Guardian, Abedi had himself been made a "subject of interest," but his file was closed in July 2014 — a year before the anti-Netanyahu protest and three years before the Manchester attack. In August, Abedi’s brother Hashem, 23, was tossed in the calaboose Drop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages! for life for playing an "integral part" in the attack. He was convicted of murder, attempted murder, and conspiring to cause explosions at a trial that ended in March. The court heard he was in Libya when the attack took place on May 22, 2017, but helped his brother plan it for several weeks, including by obtaining chemicals for the homemade bomb.
