How to Deal with Activist Judges |
2025-03-12 |
[TennesseeStar] ‘We’ve Got to Stop This Judicial Resistance’: Craig Huey Offers Solution for Congress to Block Activist Judges from Shutting Down Trump’s Executive Actions Craig Huey, California refugee and marketing expert, offered a solution that Congress could pursue to bar activist leftist judges from issuing rulings designed to block executive actions made by President Donald Trump. Since Trump assumed office, many of his executive orders have been blocked from taking effect by rulings issued by district court judges. For example, Trump’s executive order pausing funding of foreign aid assistance programs was struck down by a single judge, U.S. District Judge Amir H. Ali, last month. In another example, Trump’s executive order directing the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to take down webpages promoting gender ideology was also struck down by a single judge, U.S. District Judge John Bates. Huey said the conduct by the judges ruling to block Trump’s executive actions is “judicial resistance.” “These judges at a district level are trying to impose their own political ideology on the entire nation,” Huey explained on Tuesday’s edition of The Michael Patrick Leahy Show. “They are legislating from the bench with their own political ideology. They do not look at the Constitution. They do what they interpret to be the right thing to do in their political, ideological eyes,” Huey added. Huey said the transformation of the judiciary began under the Obama administration and ramped up during the Biden administration. “What has happened is that the judiciary has been transformed by Obama, by Biden, where they have cherry picked ideologues. Now, that’s contrary to what Trump has done in appointing strict constructionists who look at the Constitution, look at the law, and whether they agree with it or not, they interpret it. That’s what you want,” Huey said. “These judicial activists are part of the judicial resistance to stop anything that Trump is doing,” Huey added. Huey said there are two ways to stop activist judges from overriding executive actions – impeachment and congressional action on restructuring the district court process. “We’ve got to be able to hold these judges accountable. Again, these are people who are Democrat donors, they go to political rallies. They’re activists in a black suit, and they got a gavel. This is a battle for the soul of America with these judges. So Andy Ogles and several other congressmen are willing to impeach some of these activist judges, and I think that is an incredible spotlight on what is going on in the abuse of the judiciary. That is one thing that can be done,” Huey explained. “The second thing, we have to take a look at how to restructure this. One district court cannot make a decision for the whole United States. That’s what’s happening. So Congress can reconfigure so that you have, say, three district court judges who have to be in agreement, and then you’d have a fast track way to the Supreme Court,” Huey added. Huey said he believes restructuring the district courts so that a majority of three district judges must be in agreement to block an executive action is “the most logical way to be able to ensure a judiciary does not abuse its own power.” |

You'll Never Guess Who's Funding the Invasion |
2025-01-18 |
![]() Todd Bensman, a senior national security fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies, is bringing attention to the billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars that are continuing to fund United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that work to aid and assist migrants in crossing into the country illegally. In a recent article published by the Daily Wire, Bensman revealed that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the UN International Organization for Migration (IOM) continue to be funded with billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to support migrants “engaging in transit and onward movements” to the U.S. southern border. Bensman’s report is based on data published in the UN’s 2025-2026 Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan. “There are hundreds of these organizations that have grown very fat with profit, even though they’re nonprofits, to aid, assist, and abet the mass migration to our border. A lot of them are U.S.-based, a lot of other ones are international, but the United Nations put together an organization of them, a coordinated group, a conglomeration, of NGOs and about 15 UN agencies together in Latin America in 2019 and every year they’ve been spending $1.5 billion handing out food supplies, cash debit cards, transportation, shelter, basically supporting the migration and even incentivizing some of that to our border – predominantly paid for by U.S. taxpayers,” Bensman explained on Wednesday’s edition of The Michael Patrick Leahy Show. “They’re just being showered with U.S. tax money. That’s how this whole thing works,” Bensman added. Bensman said taxpayer money funding the UN-based groups encouraging illegal immigration into the U.S. is still expected to flow under the incoming Trump administration in an effort to “induce failure” during the new administration. “They’re still looking at $1.4 billion to support all of those migrants, to keep the pressure on the U.S. border, maybe to induce failure, this is my speculation, or just to not to give up and keep 2.5 million migrants, foreign nationals, sustained and on the trail pushing ever forward or to just wait out the Trump administration and hope a friendlier Democrat gets into office in four years. The point is, it’s still going on there,” Bensman said. Bensman said the funding of such agencies is a “legitimate public policy debate” which Republican lawmakers – given their majorities in the U.S. House and Senate as well as the White House – should discuss. “Maybe there ought to be some defunding. Maybe there ought to be some accountability or transparency. Maybe they ought to be rolled back, because the American people don’t like this. They don’t like this,” Bensman said. |

Why the Covenant Killer's Manifesto Was Suppressed |
2024-09-10 |
[Blaze] Why the FBI BATTLED Tennessee media over Covenant School shooter’s manifesto The Covenant School shooter’s manifesto has finally been released by the Tennessee Star — but it didn’t happen without a fight. “We’re just a journalistic organization seeking documents which the public has a right to see, and at every level, the local government has obstructed those desires, as has the FBI,” Tennessee Star CEO Michael Patrick Leahy tells Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson of “Blaze News Tonight.” “In fact, the Metro National Police Department has claimed for well over a year that the investigation is ongoing. They claimed in court in March it would be over by the end of June. Well, here we are, the beginning of September, they’re still claiming it,” he explains. “It’s basically a stalling tactic because they don’t want this information out,” he adds. In 2023, Leahy was hauled into court on June 17 by the presiding judge in the state case to explain why “she shouldn’t hit me with contempt of court charges.” “She claimed that perhaps there was a court order that she’d issued that I violated. There was no such order,” Leahy explains. “It was Kafka-esque, right here in America.” Leahy didn’t give up, as he believes it’s incredibly important for Americans to understand the motive behind a shooting like this, and Savage also notes that "the shooter's writings shed light on her poor mental health leading up to the shooting." “This is a matter of public interest,” he says. “What is the motivation behind these mass murders committed by very troubled people, and what’s the public policy solution to it? I think that’s a very important part of the discussion.” “We believe that we have served the public interest by demonstrating the very confused state of mind that Audrey Hale had and the absolute total failure of the mental health system to treat her for her difficulties,” he continues, noting that Hale had been under psychiatric care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for 22 years. “She was also taking very, very strong SSRI drugs since 2019. Those will have an impact on a person, and I think that really, the whole public discussion about this has been misdirected. They try to make it about gun control.” The issue isn’t the weapon a person uses but why the person picks up the weapon in the first place. “The real issue here is how our children are suffering from mental illness and not being treated properly and how they’re being overprescribed with psychiatric drugs,” Leahy says. Conservative media outlet faces contempt over publishing excerpts from Covenant killer's journal | |
2024-06-17 | |
Star News Digital Media, the owner of the Tennessee Star, published a series of articles containing several passages from the school shooter’s journal, which Nashville police had so far refused to turn over to the outlet. According to the Star's reporting, Audrey Hale wrote about her "torture" as a girl who identified as a boy and how she would "kill" to get puberty blockers. The Daily Mail, paraphrasing the Star, said "Hale wrote about anger toward her parents, how she hated her conservative Christian upbringing, and how she had suffered because hormone blockers were not available when she was as a child." The judge who is in charge of determining whether the journal should be released to the public, I’Ashea Myles, reportedly summoned the media outlet’s editor-in-chief Michael Patrick Leahy to appear in court to explain how the Star's reporting doesn't violate her court orders. The outlet could face contempt proceedings or sanctions, the Associated Press reported. Leahy's attorney Daniel Horwitz filed an emergency motion on Wednesday, asking that the judge set aside her June 10 court order because it doesn't specify what was violated. The motion alleged that the court order violates Tennessee’s “shield law,” which “protects reporters from being compelled to reveal any information – or the source of any information – procured for publication and broadcast.” The statute protects journalists' sources and information, gathered for publication or broadcast, whether obtained confidentially or not, and whether published or not. On Thursday, the judge denied the motion and determined that it was "premature," according to an updated Tennessee Star story. Horwitz filed an emergency appeal with the Court of Appeals for Middle Tennessee, requesting the court provide a stay to the show cause hearing. Myles said that Leahy and his attorneys had to be in court next week to help her “ascertain the status and veracity of any alleged leak” of the documents. The Tennessee Star reported that Leahy was ordered to appear in court following local television reporter Stacey Cameron calling the judge and asking if the Star or anyone else should be held "in contempt” due to reporting on the notes from Hale's journal. Leahy told Just the News on Thursday that Cameron made a false claim to the judge about the documents, which he says he obtained legally. “She is compelling me to be present in court to explain why publication of certain documents does not constitute contempt of court," Leahy told Just the News. "But she doesn’t cite what we violated.” Leahy is currently in a legal battle attempting to get Hale’s full journal from the Metro Nashville Police Department. The Star has written several articles about some of Hale's writings, which resulted in extensive backlash. "The Show Cause Order does not specify or otherwise identify ‘the Orders of this Court’ that it implies may have been violated," the emergency filing reads. “The Show Cause Order does make clear, however, that it is concerned with the acts – specifically, ‘the publication of certain purported documents and information’ – that transpired outside the presence of the Court.” In April, the FBI turned over writings from Hale to the court, including a manifesto, which are being read privately by the judge to determine whether there is reason to continue hiding them from the public. Three nine-year-old students and three adults were killed in the shooting spree. Star News sued the FBI in May, claiming the bureau had violated the First Amendment by rejecting multiple Freedom of Information Act requests for the Covenant School shooter’s manifesto. U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger sided with the Tennessee Star in March in seeking the manifesto and other relevant written documents from Hale. Israel aghast as US said poised to sanction notorious IDF unit; Netanyahu: ‘A moral low' |
2024-04-21 |
[IsraelTimes] Report says Blinken to target Netzah Yehuda for violence against West Bank Paleostinians; Ben Gvir: I’ll absorb battalion into police; unit was moved north in 2020 after multiple incidents The Biden administration (aka the Wilmington comorra) ![]() expertsaffiliated with the Biden Crime Family. Entrusted with an entire nation as the result of a suspicious election, they set about happily implementing stuff they absorbed in college, all of which blew up and splattered the rest of us... is slated to announce sanctions against the IDF’s Netzah Yehuda battalion for alleged human rights ...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless... abuses against Paleostinians in the West Bank, the Axios news site reported on Saturday. It would be the first time the US has ever taken such a step. The battalion has been at the center of several controversies in the past connected to right-wing extremism and violence against Paleostinians, notably including the 2022 death of Omar As’ad, a 78-year-old Paleostinian-American who died after being detained, handcuffed, blindfolded, and later abandoned in near-freezing conditions by soldiers of the battalion. Israel moved the unit out of the West Bank in December 2022 — though it denied it did so due to soldiers’ behavior — and it has since served mostly in the country’s north. The reported US plan drew a scathing response from Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "The IDF must not be sanctioned!" he wrote on X. "I’ve been working in recent weeks against the sanctioning of Israeli citizens, including in my conversations with the American administration. "At a time when our soldiers are fighting terrorist monsters, the intention to issue sanctions against a unit in the IDF is the height of absurdity and a moral low," he added, committing to fight the move. Centrist war cabinet Minister Benny Gantz joined the criticism, saying the infantry unit was "an integral part of the IDF" and was bound by military and international law. He added that Israel has "strong and independent" courts capable of dealing with alleged violations. "We have great respect for our American friends, but imposing sanctions on the unit is a dangerous precedent and sends the wrong message to our shared enemies at a time of war," Gantz said, while pledging to "take action so this decision does not pass." The expressions of surprise and anger in Israel came shortly after leaders voiced profound gratitude to the US after the US House passed a major military aid package for the Jewish state. Citing unnamed American sources, the Axios report said the sanctions would bar the transfer of US weapons to the largely ultra-Orthodox infantry unit and prevent its soldiers from training with US forces or taking part in any activities with US funding, under the Leahy Laws. Authored by then-senator Patrick Leahy ...Democrat Senator-for-Life from Vermont, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, source of more leaks than a plumber could keep up with... in the late 1990s, the laws prohibit providing military assistance to individuals or security force units that commit gross violations of human rights and have not been brought to justice. One of the sources was quoted saying that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had decided not to sanction other military and police units that the administration was investigating, as it had seen adjustments in their conduct. An administration official told the news site that the decision to sanction Netzah Yehuda was based on research done before October 7 that examined incidents in the West Bank. The report came days after ProPublica said a State Department panel recommended that Blinken sanction several Israeli units for alleged rights abuses, including Netzah Yehuda. Blinken himself said Friday that he had made "determinations" regarding accusations that Israeli forces had violated the Leahy Laws. Asked at a news conference in Italia about reports that the State Department has recommended the cutting off of military aid to certain Israeli units over possible human rights violations in the West Bank, Blinken did not outright confirm the reports, but promised results very soon. "I think you’re referring to the so-called Leahy Law and our work under that," he responds. "So this is a very important law. And it’s one that we apply across the board. And when we’re doing these investigations, these inquiries, it’s something that takes time. That has to be done very carefully, both in collecting the facts and analyzing them. "And that’s exactly what we’ve done. And I think it’s fair to say that you’ll see results very soon. I made determinations. You can expect to see them in the days ahead," Blinken said, without elaborating. Netzah Yehuda was created so that ultra-Orthodox and other religious soldiers can serve without feeling they are compromising their beliefs. The soldiers do not interact with female troops to the same extent as other servicemen and are given additional time for prayer and religious study. Members of the unit have been involved in multiple controversial and Since the Israel-Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, war began on October 7, the US has issued three rounds of sanctions against settler individuals for violence against Paleostinians. The latest round was issued on Friday and included the leader of the far-right group Lehava, Benzi Gopstein, who is a close ally of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir. Ben Gvir said Saturday that imposing "sanctions on our soldiers is a red line." Describing the Axios report as "extremely grave," Ben Gvir stated that he "expects Defense Minister Yoav Gallant not to submit to American dictates" and that the members of Netzah Yehuda "must be fully supported." "If there is not anybody at the Defense Ministry who will back up the battalion as required, I will ask to absorb them into the Israel Police and the Ministry of National Security," continued Ben Gvir, who added that he would be willing to integrate the battalion into the Border Police. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said imposing sanctions "while Israel is fighting for its existence is utter madness." "This is part of a planned move to force the State of Israel to agree to the establishment of a Paleostinian state and to forsake Israel’s security," Smotrich charged in a post on X. |

Nashville School Shooting: Federal Judge Orders Release of Transgender Shooter's Journals |
2024-03-22 |
[Breitbart] A federal judge ordered the FBI to release the writings of the transgender woman who shot and killed six people at a Christian school in Nashville on March 27, 2023. In the hours after the shooting, Breitbart News noted that police indicated Audrey Hale identified as transgender. Less than a month after the shooting, Breitbart News pointed out that Hale left behind a suicide note, 19 journals, and other items, and all of them have been kept from the public since the attack occurred. (The exception was a November 2023 leak of three pages, purportedly from the shooter’s writings. Seven Nashville police officers were put on “administrative leave” over the leak.) But U.S. District Court Judge Aleta Trauger has ordered the release of the writings. Trauger wrote: The FBI is ORDERED to produce ex parte all documents that are potentially responsive to the defendants’ Freedom of Information Act request for in camera review, with the exception that, based on the plaintiffs’ concessions in this litigation, the FBI need not produce any documents that could not reasonably be construed to bear on Audrey Hale’s motives. Her decision is in response to a Freedom of Information Act suit filed by the parent company of the Tennessee Star, a local newspaper owned by former Breitbart contributor Michael Patrick Leahy. “It has been long enough, and the public has an urgent right to know why this tragedy happened, how future events may be prevented, and what policies should be in place to address this and other similar tragedies,” lawyers for the Tennessee Star contended during the hearing. … “[The] FBI has no right to retain a monopoly on this information.” Related: Audrey Hale: 2023-11-26 Mitt Romney says he would vote for Democrat over Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy Audrey Hale: 2023-11-25 Trans woman is charged with threatening to copy Nashville school shooting and rape Christian girls in bathrooms after cops intercepted sick livestream of them saying 'I am gonna f*** f*** them until they're dead' Audrey Hale: 2023-11-19 Donald Trump opens up stunning THIRTY-NINE point lead over Ron DeSantis |

Controversial Biden Customs and Border Protections nominee confirmed |
2021-12-08 |
[JustTheNews] Chris Magnus was confirmed in a 50-47 vote after his nomination was opposed by the National Sheriffs' Association. President Joe Biden's nominee for Customs and Border Protection Director, Chris Magnus, was confirmed by the Senate on Tuesday. The Tucson, Arizona, police chief secured his position with unanimous support from Senate Democrats in a 50-47 vote. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) also voted in his favor, while Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), James Lankford (R-Okla.) and Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) did not vote. Magnus' nomination was opposed by the National Sheriffs' Association and the Arizona Sheriffs' Association. The law enforcement groups said Magnus did not assist Border Patrol agents as police chief, and he does not have enough experience to lead the federal group. Magnus deleted his Twitter last week after making comments about police officers' use of force at his department. Sexual harassment and retaliation allegations against Magnus were settled out of court in 2017 for an undisclosed sum, Fox News reports. He faced another lawsuit as a police chief in Richmond, California. Magnus was accused of making racist jokes against black cops, but the 2007 lawsuit was ultimately dismissed. The now CBP head stood against the Trump administration's fight against sanctuary cities, writing in a 2017 New York Times op-ed that Tucson is not a sanctuary city but takes "pride in being welcoming to immigrants." "Justice Department grants and other federal support funded through our taxes should not be tied to immigration policies," he wrote. During his committee hearing on Tuesday, Magnus described the images that conjured false claims of Border Patrol agents whipping migrants as "troubling." Patrick Leahy, Democratic Senator Humiliated by Dick Cheney, Announces Retirement |
2021-11-18 |
The defining moment of Leahy's career came in June 2004 following the U.S. Senate class photo. Leahy, reportedly jealous that Cheney was mingling with a group of Republican lawmakers, approached the vice president and attempted to bully Cheney into acknowledging the Democrats in the room. The confrontation devolved into a shouting match over the Iraq war and other issues until Cheney conclusively ended the exchange. "Go fuck yourself," he told the senator with authority. |
