Hamas terrorist dies in Gaza tunnel collapse, latest in series of incidents |
2022-02-17 |
![]() A Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede, terrorist was killed Wednesday when an offensive tunnel collapsed on him, the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... -based group said. Hamas named the terrorist as Muhammad Ashraf Abed, 24, from the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the terror group’s military wing, said he was "martyred after the collapse of a resistance tunnel." Several Hamas bully boyz have reportedly died in recent months while working inside the tunnels, primarily built in sand, due to heavy rains that have led to their collapse. During the 11-day conflict between Israel and terror groups in Gaza last May, the Israel Defense Forces carried out extensive ... KABOOM!... s against an underground tunnel system which the army described as a system of Hamas bunkers, tunnels, underground command centers and weapons caches under the Gaza Strip. The IDF has claimed that it managed to destroy a significant portion of the network during the campaign, a claim that Hamas has rejected. In November, Maj. Avichai Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic front man, warned residents of Gaza of the issue, imploring them to stay away from the tunnels due to landslides in the area, which he said were the likely result of the destruction of the underground system. "According to estimates, the cause of these collapses is linked to the underground system of Hamas," he wrote in Arabic. "These events are the latest example, but not the only one, of Hamas’s absurd use of civilian areas. It is unpredictable when the earth will shake again under the feet of the Gazooks because of this blatant exploitation that the local population pays for time and again," he stated. In December, the Defense Ministry announced that a 65-kilometer underground barrier constructed to deal with the threat of cross-border tunnels originating in Gaza had been completed. The tunnel collapse came as Hamas has sought to stoke rising tensions in Jerusalem. Clashes between Jews and Paleostinians in the flashpoint East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in recent days have sparked fears of more widespread violence. Attempted evictions in the neighborhood contributed to the outbreak of last year’s conflict between Israel and Hamas, as well as tensions surrounding Jerusalem’s Temple Mount. This April will also again see a confluence of the Jewish holiday of Passover, the Moslem holy month of Ramadan and the Christian holiday of Easter, leading to fears of possible conflict. The Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft ![]() adults in chargeof the series of calamities characteristic of the administration of a mentally challenged geriatric case... has urged Israel to take preemptive actions and prevent similar violence. The Kan public broadcaster reported Tuesday that the IDF is preparing for a possible escalation in Jerusalem and the West Bank due to upcoming holidays and Sheikh Jarrah. |

PIA plane crash: mishandling of DNA increases misery of heirs |
2020-06-17 |
[DAILYTIMES.PK] The DNA tests carried out to identify the bodies of PIA’s plane crash victims by the SFDL Dept. Of ICCBS (KU) were mishandled and lead to a fiasco where bodies were handed over to wrong heirs and that too without any documented DNA or forensic reports from SFDL. Ahmad Murtaza is still awaiting his brother’s body which was buried by Qayyom heirs (PIA employee). However, a woman is only as old as she admits... the one remaining body that lies unclaimed is not of Qayyom thus casting a huge doubt on everybody released based on these erroneous reports by the SFDL (Sindh Forensic DNA & Serology Laboratory) To highlight their plight, families of the dear departed passengers carried out a presser at Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... press Club. Arif Iqbal Faruqui whose wife and three children bit the dust in this crash highlighted that people operating DNA labs in Sindh do not have the basic capability carrying out DNA profiling so instead they handed over wrong bodies of victims to relatives on the basis of dental test. Arif Iqbal Faruqui who identified body of his wife and elder daughter immediately but had to go through the inefficient DNA procedure to search for the bodies of her young daughter and son was highly critical of the people running the facility in Sindh. He highlighted that when he posted his plight on social media, a friend referred his case to Director General of Punjab 1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard 2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers 3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots.... Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) Dr Muhammad Ashraf Tahir who within hours helped him in identifying the morgue where bodies of his children were placed. Faruqui explained that PFSA had been tasked with identifying bodies of plane crash victims with the sole purpose of identifying body of Khalid Sherdil, a bureaucrat who was also one of the victims of this unfortunate plane crash. It is because of their involvement that people came to know that DNA testing requires only hours but on the contrary, health minister of Sindh Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho is on record saying that this procedure would require 21 days. |

Baloch leaders booked for 'support' of Modi's comments: police |
2016-08-23 |
[DAWN] Five cases were registered against separatist Baloch leaders Brahamdagh Bugti, Harbiyar Marri and Banuk Karima Baloch for allegedly supporting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statements on Balochistan![]() ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... , police said. The cases were registered on the complaints of petitioners Munir Ahmed, Maulana Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Hussain, Ghulam Yaseen Jatak and Muhammad Rahim at five cop shoppes in Balochistan's Khuzdar area. The Baloch leaders were booked under sections 120, 121, 123 and 353 of the Pakistain Penal Code. The sections refer to "concealing design to commit offence punishable with imprisonment", "waging or attempting to wage war or abetting waging of war against Pakistain", "concealing with intent to facilitate design to wage war", and "assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty". Acting District Police Officer Khuzdar Muhammad Ashraf Jatak said the applicants claimed Bugti, Marri and Baloch had 'supported' Modi's Aug 15 speech. The Indian premier in a speech on India's independence day ─ in what some analysts believe is a move to divert attention away from the Kashmire issue ─ said that the people of Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmire 'thanked him a lot in the past few days'. Petitioner Munir Ahmed also alleged that the Baloch leaders had asked the Indian premier to commit aggression against Pakistain. Modi's controversial statement sparked protests across Balochistan, with large numbers of rustics taking to the streets in protest in Dera Bugti, Khuzdar, Quetta, Chaman and other parts of the province. |

2016-06-11 |
[GEO.TV] A couple were murdered in Lahore on Friday for marrying without their family's consent, officials said, the second so-called "honour killing" reported from the quiet provincial capital this week. Muhammad Ashraf, 56, killed his daughter Saba and her husband Karamat Ali a day after the couple returned to Lahore's Kahna area to smooth over rocky relations with the family who disapproved of the marriage, police said. "18-year-old Saba had married Karamat Ali, who is 35, around a year and a half ago against the will of her family and returned to her home on Thursday night to settle matters with father and other family members," said Falak Sher, a local police official. Ashraf, a security guard by profession, opened fire on his daughter and son-in-law after becoming infuriated during a heated conversation. "He also killed his neighbour Muhammad Akram for supporting his daughter's marriage," said Sher, adding that Ashraf and his son Safdar later surrendered to police and confessed to the murders. 13-year-old Christian girl forced to convert |
2015-11-15 |
![]() The incident occurred on November 09 (last Monday). An FIR was registered in Hajipura police station on the same day and an investigation is underway. Investigation officer ASI Muhammad Ashraf told The Nation on Saturday that they conducted some raids to recover the girl. “The lawyer of the accused has contacted us on phone and sent a written request as well. He has told us that they have got pre-arrest bails from the court and would join the investigation on Monday. The girl is 15 years old. She first converted to Islam and then married Waheed,” Ashraf said and added that police was very cooperative and immediately registered FIR on the complaint of Sana’s father. The Nation has copies of FIR and the Nikahnama (Marriage contract). Hafiz Muhammad Khalid was the Nikahkhawan. Sana is a student of class V and studying in the Government Primary Girls School also in Mianapura area. Her sister Hina is also studying in the same class. They are three sisters and three brothers. Shahid Jaan said he was a labourer and came to know of the incident when he came home in the evening. “I was shocked to hear the news. My legs were trembling when I heard what had happened. Hina was accompanying Sana on her way back from school. Waheed Akhtar forcibly took her away. Hina came back to home and informed the family. We went to Waheed Akhtar’s house, which is also in the vicinity. Waheed and his father are butchers by profession. They kept saying that Waheed will be back soon but when he did not turn up I went to police station and registered my complaint,” he said. On a query about Sana’s age Shahid said she was not an adult. “She was born on April 17, 2002, which means that she cannot get married of her own free will. The age can be confirmed from NADRA as well as school record. We hope we will get justice as this is a barbaric act and should be condemned by everyone. I trust my daughter and believe that she was forced to convert,” he said. The girl’s grandfather William John was very disturbed. “This incident has the whole house disturbed. Think of how the other children are coping with this situation. It is bad that I am alive to witness this day. It should not have happened,” he said. Many such incidents have been reported in the past. The government needs to develop a mechanism to stop such incidents in future. |

8 suspects in Safoora carnage arrested |
2015-10-14 |
[DAWN] MULTAN: At least eight convicted men were hanged on Tuesday for murder, officials said, bringing the total number of people executed since the moratorium was lifted on death penalty to more than 230 since December. The executions - including two sets of brothers - took place in four cities in the province of Punjab: Attock, Gujrat, Multan and Bahawalpur. Read: Resumption of executions Two brothers, Mohammad Azam and Mohammad Aslam, were hanged in Gujrat; while another two brothers, Ghulam Qadir and Ghulam Sarwar, were executed in Bahawalpur for murdering two relatives, prison officials said. Double murder convict Muhammad Ashraf was hanged in Attock, two men were executed in Multan, and the eighth was also hanged in Bahawalpur, the officials added. Pakistan lifted its moratorium on the death penalty in all capital cases on March 10. Supporters argue that the death penalty is the only effective way to deal with the scourge of militancy in the country. But critics say the legal system is unjust, with rampant police torture, poor representation for victims and unfair trials. Initially executions were resumed for terrorism offences only in the wake of a Taliban massacre at an army-run school in Peshawar which had claimed the lives of more than 150 persons, mostly schoolchildren, on December 16, 2014. The United Nations, the European Union, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have called on Pakistan to re-impose its moratorium on the death penalty. |
