Day 4: Did 'Free Palestine' Terrorist Get Support from Goldman Sachs and China? |
2025-05-25 |
![]() The New York Post did just that with the man who slaughtered two Israeli embassy employees outside a Jewish museum this week. Isabel Vincent traces the path that Elias Rodriguez has taken over the last several years on his way to becoming a cowardly terrorist assassin, taking particular note of his allegiance to the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), as well as International ANSWER and other radical-leftist alliances. And the funding for PSL runs through one man, who also has a particular affinity for the regime in Beijing: The suspected terrorist charged with gunning down two Israeli embassy workers in Washington Wednesday is associated with radical socialist groups funded by the far-left Chinese sympathizer, millionaire Neville Singham and his activist wife Jodie Evans. Elias Rodriguez, 31, who allegedly confessed to killing the couple outside the Capital Jewish Museum and chanted "free, free Paleostine!" was part of that network through his association with the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), a Communist political organization that has fielded presidential candidates since 2008. ... Both the PSL and ANSWER Coalition are connected to People’s Forum — a Manhattan-based non-profit which has ties to the Chinese Communist Party — through funding from Singham, 71. The funding -- $20 million -- also got filtered through Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund (GSPF). If it seems strange that a capitalist financial institution is funding radical socialists like ANSWER and the PSL, it is, but it's hardly the only bastion of free markets to buy the rope by which the forces of Evil want to lynch them. The Ford Foundation comes to mind, as does the Tides Foundation, founded on the RJ Reynolds tobacco fortune, among others. Arabella Advisors, a shadowy coalition of the world's wealthiest industrialists, also pours a tsunami of money into radical-left causes. And in case you wonder, that's the same Jodie Evans that co-founded Code Pink ... a U.S. anti-war group. The group describes itself as a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education, green jobs and other life-affirming activities.It was founded in 2002 by Jodie Evans, Medea Benjamin and of the other usual antiwar suspects. Its website lists hysterical allegations of US war crimes, and states that thousands of civilians were killed in Fallujah in 2004. Maybe it was millions. Benjamin was a 2000 candidate for the U.S. Senate on the Green Party ticket. She lost... with Medea Benjamin to protest the Iraq War. Apparently Evans only cares about some violence, and has completely flipped on China after marrying Singham. That impression comes from another affiliation with the Singhams that Vincent points out to her readers: Another group, the Bronx Antiwar Coalition is also connected to groups in Singham’s orbit. The Bronx group applauded the murders of the Israeli diplomats on X Thursday. "What Elias Rodriguez did is the highest expression of anti-Zionism," a tweet from the group proclaimed. So Rodriguez has connections to both PSL and ANSWER, and an endorsement from the Bronx Antiwar Coalition, all of which have ties to Singham and Evans. What about China? In a book written by Evans, Vincent reports that she and her husband fund something called the Tricontinental Institute for Social Research. According to a May 2024 report from the Network Contagion Research Institute linked by Vincent, this entity as well as the People's Forum get support from the Chinese Communist Party as part of an effort to wreak political havoc in the US: Evans is set to release a book in January 2025 titled "China is Not Our Enemy," which she co-authored with a researcher employed by the Tricontinental Institute for Social Research and Dongsheng News.17 Both the Tricontinental Institute and Dongsheng News have ties to the CCP and have received funding from Singham, with the Tricontinental Institute also receiving partial funding from Code Pink. Are Singham and Evans the only source of that funding? Not according to NCRI, which also suspects that the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund is operating as a dark-money clearinghouse for overseas funding: Between 2017 and 2022, the People’s Forum received over $20 million in grants from the GSPF, with $12 million transferred in 2019 alone. As previous reporting has detailed, GSPF appears to function as a dark money clearinghouse, obscuring the identity of donors while facilitating the transfer of substantial sums to American non-profits. In November 2023, a Tax-Exempt Organization Complaint was filed with the IRS ...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies... against The People’s Forum, alleging that: "De Los Santos and the People’s Forum Inc. have been advocating in support of the U.S. designated foreign terror organization Hamas ![]() in its war on Israel and Jews and also advocates for the overthrow of the United States." How does Singham make his money? The NCRI report is equally interested in that question: According to an investigation conducted by the New York Times ![]() ...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... (NYT), Singham’s "ties to the propaganda machine date back at least to 2019, when, corporate documents show, he started a consulting business with Chinese partners. Those partners are active in the propaganda apparatus." According to a report in Newlines Magazine, Singham is invested in at least two other major Chinese companies, underscoring the depth of his business interests in mainland China. In July 2023, Singham was photographed at a strategic communications workshop hosted by the CCP in Shanghai.14 As recent as November 2023, India’s Enforcement Directorate summoned Singham for questioning regarding his Delhi-based news portal NewsClick, which was raided in 2021 for suspected acceptance of illegal funds from China to promote CCP propaganda deemed a threat to India’s national security. In 2023, even the New York Times found Singham's cash flow to be highly suspicious: In fact, a New York Times investigation found, it is part of a lavishly funded influence campaign that defends China and pushes its propaganda. At the center is a charismatic American millionaire, Neville Roy Singham, who is known as a socialist benefactor of far-left causes. What is less known, and is hidden amid a tangle of nonprofit groups and shell companies, is that Mr. Singham works closely with the Chinese government media machine and is financing its propaganda worldwide. From a think tank in Massachusetts to an event space in Manhattan, from a political party in South Africa to news organizations in India and Brazil, The Times tracked hundreds of millions of dollars to groups linked to Mr. Singham that mix progressive advocacy with Chinese government talking points. At the time, the NYT didn't report any connection specifically to Hamas or Paleostinian propaganda, but this was less than five months before Hamas' atrocities on October 7, too. People's Forum makes an appearance, as does the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund, although the NYT only refers to it as a charity: Since 2017, about a quarter of Code Pink’s donations — more than $1.4 million — have come from two groups linked to Mr. Singham, nonprofit records show. The first was one of the UPS store nonprofits. The second was a charity that Goldman Sachs offers as a conduit for clients’ giving, and that Mr. Singham has used in the past. Ms. Evans now stridently supports China. She casts it as a defender of the oppressed and a model for economic growth without slavery or war. Vincent's reporting raises a lot of questions about the "globalize the intifada" movement in the US. Hamas may not be the only malefactor behind it, and it's time to start asking Goldman Sachs about their "charity" work -- as well as Singham and Evans about their cash flow, and whether they're redirecting Beijing's resources into Eric Rodriguez is a member of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), one of the most radical left unions in the U.S. He made a video for SEIU the same day he was honored by Rep. Garcia, in which he referred to himself as an Iraq War veteran and Veterans Affairs employee. “I’ve been with the VA for three years, and the reason why I’m in Washington, D.C., is because I’m concerned about what Donald Trump, Elon Musk and DOGE are doing to the VA system,” he said in the video. Addressing the monumental problems at the VA is almost an exercise in futility. The agency that is supposed to care for our veterans is a bloated, inefficient mess. The VA stated that the canceled contracts "were identified through a multi-level review" and "will not negatively affect Veteran care, benefits, or services," though this claim has been met with skepticism, reports NBC News. Another PJ Media article has this to say about the murdered Israeli, Yaron Lischinsky: Lischinsky was a Messianic Jew, that is, a Jewish person who believes in Jesus (or Yeshua, to use His Hebrew name.)Messianic Judaism is a touchy subject in the larger Jewish community, but One for Israel has an excellent, extensive history that’s worth reading. My Jewish Learning drips with condescension when it characterizes Messianic Judaism as a movement that “has tried to straddle the line between Judaism and Christianity.” The headline of that explainer uses mock-quotes to ask, “Who Are Messianic ‘Jews’?” In its profile of Lischinsky, the Jewish news site Forward explains: Messianic Judaism is a religious movement made up of people who identify ethnically and culturally as Jewish and believe that Jesus — whom they call Yeshua — is the promised Messiah. Most adherents consider themselves Jewish, a position rejected by the mainstream Jewish community but embraced by congregations like Melech Ha’Mlachim [where Lischinsky worshiped]. Forward adds that “most Messianic congregations in Israel are locally run and culturally Jewish, with Torah readings, Hebrew prayer and Jewish holiday observance.” Many, if not most, American Messianic synagogues do as well. The controversy over Messianic Judaism isn’t lost on Forward: Still, Lischinsky’s religious identity has stirred confusion in the wake of his death. Ronen Shoval, dean of the Argaman Institute in Jerusalem, where Lischinsky participated in a yearlong program, described him to The New York Times as “a devout Christian” who “tied his fate to the people of Israel.” Israel’s ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, also referred to him as Christian in a tribute posted to social media. But [Lischinsky’s friend David] Boskey pushed back on that framing. He said that Lischinsky, like others in their congregation, saw himself as a Jew who believed Jesus was the Messiah — and that this belief did not negate his Jewish identity. Charges dropped against keffiyeh-clad protester for violating NY county’s mask ban |
2024-11-23 |
[IsraelTimes] District attorney says not possible to prove charges against pro-Palestinian demonstrator arrested outside synagogue ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ Prosecutors in New York dropped charges Friday against a keffiyeh-wearing, pro-Paleostinian protester who was among the first people arrested under a local face mask ban that’s stirred free speech concerns. Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly’s office confirmed it moved to dismiss the charges against Xavier Roa during a court hearing on Long Island. He was leading the protest against a synagogue. ANSWER Coalition, formerly known as International ANSWER, yet another tentacle of the anarcho-communist Black Bloc movement organized a protest against his arrest, strongly suggesting Mr. Roa is a Black Bloc cadre. "The case was investigated extensively and upon conclusion NCDA determined that the allegations could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and moved to dismiss the charges," spokesperson Nicole Turso said in a statement.Roa’s lawyer Geoffrey Stewart hailed the decision as a "big victory" for his client and "for civil liberties," but argued the law itself "should be struck from the books." "This case shows that the law can, and in all likelihood will be abused by law enforcement because the law is unconstitutionally vague," he said in an email. Stewart has maintained that Roa acted respectfully and complied with officers as he peacefully exercised his constitutionally protected free speech rights during a protest outside an Orthodox synagogue in September. The North Bellmore resident was detained under Nassau County’s Mask Transparency Act, which bans people from wearing masks to conceal their identity in public. It includes exemptions for people who wear masks "for health, safety, religious or cultural purposes." The county’s Republican-controlled Legislature approved the law in August in response to "antisemitic incidents, often perpetrated by those in masks" since the Hamas ![]() onslaught in southern Israel last year that started the war in Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... Roa, who faced up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted of the misdemeanor charge, was the first protester arrested under the ban. The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations ![]() and other groups claimed at the time it was proof that the local law was being used as a "silencing tactic" against Paleostinian supporters. Nassau County police said Roa had been attempting to conceal his identity as he led others in pro-Paleostinian chants. They also said he told officers he was wearing the scarf in solidarity with Paleostinians and not for exempted medical or religious purposes. In videos showing some of the arrest, Roa wears the keffiyeh around his neck as he’s led away in handcuffs. Keffiyeh-clad protester outside synagogue charged with violating NY county’s mask ban |

[IsraelTimes] A pro-Paleostinian protestor wearing a keffiyeh scarf has been charged with violating a suburban New York City county’s new law banning face masks in public, reviving fears from opponents that the statute is being used to diminish free speech rights. Police say the 26-year-old North Bellmore resident was arrested Sunday afternoon during a protest in front of Young Israel of Lawrence-Cedarhurst, an Orthodox synagogue near the New York City borough of Queens. Nassau County Police Department spokesperson Scott Skrynecki says that officers questioned the man because he had been concealing his face with a keffiyeh, which has become a symbol of support for Paleostinian people. Police on the scene asked him if he was wearing the garment for medical or religious purposes, which are the two major exceptions to the new ban, according to Skrynecki. When the man confirmed he was wearing it in solidarity with Paleostinians and not for either of those reasons, he was placed under arrest, Skrynecki says. He was eventually released with a notice to appear in court on October 2. Videos showing some of the arrest have been shared on social media. They show the man wearing the keffiyeh around his neck as he’s led away by officers in handcuffs and continues to lead others in pro-Paleostinian chants. The man didn’t respond to calls and social media messages seeking comment Thursday. Rachel Hu, a spokesperson for ANSWER Coalition, …they used to call themselves International ANSWER, back when they were protesting the possibility of an American response to 9/111, but really they’re just another tentacle of the Black Bloc anarcho-communist international syndicate… which organized a rally this week against the arrest, says the man is currently seeking legal counsel and won’t be commenting on the case until then."We feel that this arrest (and this ban overall) was aimed at intimidating known activists to discourage us from using our first amendment right to protest," Hu writes in an email. Sunday’s arrest is the third under the Mask Transparency Act approved by Nassau County’s Republican-controlled legislature and signed into law by Executive Bruce Blakeman last month, according to the Nassau County District Attorney’s office. Prosecutors release update about anti-Israel protesters who set American flag alight
2024-07-27 | |||
[Daily Mail, where America gets it news] … shouted 'Allahu Akbar' in Washington during Netanyahu's speech. Anti-Israel protestors and Hamas sympathizers who desecrated Washington, D.C.'s Union Station have learned their fates. A minimum of eight people who participated in the anti-Israel protest during Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech Wednesday are now facing federal criminal charges after defacing federal property and fighting police. Some protestors, however, have had their charges dropped by more lenient Washington, D.C. prosecutors. Frederick Coates, Crow Momamome and Antonio Somerville have all been charged with attempting to carry a dangerous weapon, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in D.C. Nathaniel Lawrence, Sonia Krishan
Zachary Kam has been charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer. And Essa Ejelat has been charged with making threats. Authorities also maintain that the protest, which began near the National Mall close to the U.S. Capitol before heading to the train terminal, is still an open investigation and updates could come. In addition to those charged there are numerous protestors who were arrested that will not face charges, Fox News reports. The D.C. attorney general's office got at least 11 cases 'no-papered,' which means that the charges were dropped. Among those three were charges for crossing police lines, five were for disorderly conduct and inducing violence and three were for disorderly conduct causing unreasonable fear. All of the charges are misdemeanors. Further, the report reveals an additional five pending cases for crowding and obstructing, though prosecutors have yet to decide whether to press charges. Biden NPS cited anti-Israel group with lack of disclosure before violent protest, permit shows [WashingtonExaminer] One day before anti-Israel protesters caused mayhem in Washington, D.C., burning an effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after he spoke to Congress, scrawling graffiti across federal property, and burning American flags, the National Park Service granted the organizing group a public gathering permit. The Washington Examiner obtained a copy of that permit in full from a Biden administration source — providing a key window into the planning of the rally and the ways in which demonstrators skirted federal rules. The permit, a redacted version of which can be read at this link, was given to the ANSWER Coalition,
But even before the protest began, the Interior Department’s National Park Service was aware of problems with ANSWER’s level of disclosure about its activities, documents reveal. The NPS said in the permit documents that ANSWER "refused to provide specific locations for onsite contacts." ANSWER is a project of a charity in the Socialist paradise of San Francisco ![]() called Progress Unity Fund, according to tax records. In the permit, the ANSWER Coalition described how it would be protesting in various areas in the nation’s capital, including John Marshall Park and Columbus Plaza. At 3:37 p.m. on Wednesday, after many hours of protests in the streets, the NPS said the permit for Columbus Plaza had been revoked. Minutes later, a man wearing a red shirt was captured on social media graffitiing the phrase "Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... is coming" on a historic fountain in the plaza honoring Christopher Columbus. The Wednesday protest, according to the permit, was slated for between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day. Activists continued to demonstrate after 4 p.m. in the district as part of the rally, which ANSWER said on the permit application was to "stop the genocide in Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... ." The protest was called "Arrest Netanyahu! Surround Congress July 24 with the People’s Red Line for Paleostine," according to ANSWER’s website. "These events were utterly predictable, as similar recent protests had also resulted in vandalism of federal property and assaults on Park Police, and the organization seeking the permit apparently did not even comply with its requirements before it was issued," said Michael Chamberlain, director of Protect the Public’s Trust, a watchdog group investigating the Biden administration. The permit said ANSWER, per federal rules, was prohibited from climbing, removing, or injuring "any statue seat, wall, fountain, light poles, elevator towers, or other erection or architectural feature, or any tree, shrub, or landscaping feature" in protest areas. The document also cited 36 CFR Section 7.96, a regulation holding that "the alteration, damage, or removal of park resources or facilities is prohibited." On Thursday, NPS staffers began to power-wash the Christopher Columbus statue and fountain that were vandalized outside Union Station. The permit listed ANSWER’s point of contact as Brian Becker, ANSWER’s director and "a central organizer for the Party for Socialism and Liberation," according to Liberation News.

Are Leftists Always Anti-Patriotic And Treacherous? |
2011-01-04 |
![]() The self-described leftists and anarchists engaged in direct action in concert with unarmed Palestinian protests are a negligible presence on an Israeli political spectrum whose median has moved steadily to the right over the past decade. But their actions may be directed less at the Israeli political mainstream than at international civil society. The Israeli protesters often use English rather than Hebrew in placards and slogans, and explicitly connect Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories with South Africa's apartheid system. That's intended as a signal to international civil society, which helped end the apartheid regime through its support for boycotts and economic sanctions in the 1980s. Joseph Dana, an Israeli activist and the media coordinator for the Palestinian Popular Struggle Coordination Committee, says these Israeli leftists are "seeking to use the privileged access their voice carries in North America and Europe to add power to the voice of the Palestinians they struggle alongside, sidestepping engagement with [an Israeli] society that is unwilling to listen." As much as it irks Israel's liberal supporters in the West, the apartheid comparison with Israel's occupation is being drawn more and more frequently, even by current Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak (leader of the Labor Party). Barak, of course, was using it to warn his countrymen of the danger of failing to achieve a two-state solution, which leaves Palestinians effectively ruled by a state that denies them citizenship. But its function for Tel Aviv leftists is to spur the international community to action - hoping that the fact that it comes from Jewish Israelis will counter any hesitation based on sensitivity to charges of anti-Semitism in the West. And the Knesset is currently considering legislation, likely to pass, that would make it a criminal offense for Israelis to call for international sanctions or boycotts of their state. This is a typical pattern among leftists. Radicals openly work against their country, even fight against it, and openly conspire with their nation's enemies; while at the same time, they are given cover by the more "mainstream" leftists, who use their political power to protect and defend the radicals. Think "International ANSWER" and the Democrat party. |

BP Oil Spill: Containment Cap Successfully Installed on Leak
2010-07-13 | ||
![]() Underwater video of the well showed the new 18-foot, 150,000-pound cap being placed onto the wellhead. The company will soon begin the process of testing the fit that could finally contain all of the leaking oil. But even with that sign of success, anger continued to bubble across the Gulf Coast today over unfulfilled damage claims. Gulf residents say they've been required to fill out mountains of detailed paperwork, but all the forms could amount to nothing if they forget one little thing and BP refuses to pay. "I done gave them this paperwork three times," one frustrated resident told ABC News today. Some frustrated fishermen, who haven't been able to work since the start of the spill, said today that BP is doing everything to try to refuse to pay their claims. Fisherman Darrell Moreaux went to the BP claims office today for a fourth time, with a fistful of receipts trying to prove his claim to a $5,000 check. "Everyone's dependent on these people now, and we don't know what's the holdup," Moreaux said. Moreaux said he left broke and broken, his claim rejected once again. "Where am I gonna go? Who do I need to talk to to pay my electric bill this month? My water bill for this month?" Moreaux said. "I'm gonna be two months behind now. It's disgusting." BP said that it is swamped by more than 100,000 claims and admits it has yet to approve half of them. In most cases, the company says, they are waiting for more proof of lost income. But elected officials say that all the proof they need is at the quiet marinas. "Give them $25,000, give them $50,000 while you work out his claim," said Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser.
At a hearing in New Orleans today before the president's commission investigating the spill, residents aired their anger at federal officials, BP, and the entire oil industry. "We don't need any more cheap energy, no matter how much our politicians will beg for it," said one man who identified himself as Christopher. "Recognize that the ills that exist here in Louisiana are of [the oil industry's] own making."
Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced that the new moratorium, in effect through November 30, will not be based on the water depth of the platform. Offshore at the site of the disaster, BP hopes that its latest bid to control the leak will finally pay off, three months into the disaster. Today, an armada of deep-sea robots moved around a new containment cap as it was lowered onto the site. The cap, it is hoped, will form a tighter seal with the well and allow BP to capture all of the oil that is being released from the well. "This certainly is an important day in the evolution of this response," National Incident Cmdr. Thad Allen told ABC's Diane Sawyer today. "If all goes according to plan, we could initiate a well test tomorrow morning that could tell us where we need to go from here." Oil will continue to gush until the robots shut off three valves, a step that could happen by Tuesday. BP will conduct pressure tests for a 6-to-48 hour period before they know whether the new cap has been a success. In preparation for this maneuver, the original, leaky cap was removed from the broken wellhead over the weekend, allowing 2.5 million gallons of oil to spew per day. Some fear that the new cap could buckle under the extreme pressures spewing out of the ocean floor and spawn new leaks in the pipe. "This may actually work. We're hoping so," said Dr. Michio Kaku, author of "Physics of the Impossible." "But this is a science experiment at 5,000-feet of water. High pressure is the single reason why we're having so much difficulty, because the basic science of working at high pressure was not done years ago." If all goes according to plan, the oil will be funneled to the Helix Producer, a ship that recently arrived at the site that could soon contain roughly a million gallons of oil per day. Drilling of the relief wells that BP says offer a permanent fix to the leak could be completed by the end of the month, the company said. Though the relief wells are now 5 feet away from the target, it would take another few weeks to fill them with cement.

A compelling argument in favor of the bailout |
2008-09-23 |
ImpeachBush.org, a subsidiary of International ANSWER, has set up a website named "VoteNoBailout.org" Demand that the Bailout Legislation Be Rejected We are witnessing a bankers' coup d'etat. In the name of saving the economy from a crisis created by their own greed and immense profits, the biggest bankers have taken a country and a people hostage. "Give us your money and tear up what's left of your Constitution or we will sink your economy," is the message from Wall Street and the Bush Administration. "Give us the power and money we demand or you will be left jobless from a new economic depression." Under the pretext of the banking crisis, the Bush Administration is changing the way this country operates. This is not simply taking trillions of dollars from the people and giving it to the richest bankers to do with as they see fit. . . . . . . A spineless Congress authorized Bush's illegal war in Iraq and rubber-stamped the Patriot Act. Now they are being herded like sheep again to give the White House and Wall Street dictatorial control over the people's money. As the Instapundit cautions, "just because International A.N.S.W.E.R. is against the bailout doesn't actually guarantee that the bailout is a good idea." Still, it is something to consider. |
