Six kidnappers including 2 women arrested in Jalalabad city

According to the local security officials, the security forces arrested the gang during an operation which also led to the release of a 4-year-old who was kept as hostage. Provincial police front man Hazrat Hussain Mashriqwal told news hounds, the gang had kidnapped the 4-year-old girl from the vicinity of the 2nd police district of Jalalabad. Mashriqwal further added that the child was kidnapped from Fatima al-Zahra hospital located in the 2nd police district of the city. According to Mashriqwal, the child belonged to a doctor who was lured by the two women and was then taken to Surkh Rod area by the four men. He said the child has been returned to her family safely and the six individuals icluding two women are currently in the custody of police. This comes as the Afghan intelligence operatives had also rescued a 8-month-old baby from the custody of a group of three kidnappers on Sunday. According to the local officials, at least three people including a woman were also arrested in connection to the kidnapping of the child.

Provincial police front man Hazrat Hussain Mashraqiwal confirmed that the faceless myrmidons were targeted in Sangini area of Chaparhar late on Monday night. He said a commander of the Taliban group was killed along with another Lion of Islam and at least three others were maimed. Mashraqiwal further added that the Arclight airstrike did not incur any casualties to the local residents or security personnel. Nangarhar has been among the relatively calm provinces since the fall of the Taliban regime but the anti-government armed bad boy groups have recently increased their insurgency activities in some remote districts during the recent years. The US forces based in Afghanistan resumed their counter-terrorism operations last year under a broader role granted by the B.O. regime. The operations were resumed amid concerns that the bad boy groups including ISIS loyalists are attempting to expand their activities and presence in this province.

Large cache of ammunition, rockets, explosives seized in Nangarhar

He said the cache included 15 rounds of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and 250 rounds of various types of heavy and light ammunition, including rockets. Mashriqwal further added that RPG rockets, BM-1 rocket, Dshk machine gun and various other types of bullets were seized by the security forces. According to Mashriqwal, the operation was conducted by the Counter-terrorism Unit of Nangarhar police commandment. The forces of Evil were looking to transfer the ammunition and explosives to Jalalabad city for a series of terrorist attacks, Mashriqwal added. He said no suspect has been tossed in the clink Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw! in connection to the discovery of the cache but an operation is underway to arrest the forces of Evil who were keeping the explosives and were planning attacks in the city.

He said a commander of ISIS loyalists identified as Zamin was killed along with 10 other loyalists of the terror group and 15 others were maimed. Mashriqwal further added that 6 Talibs were also killed during the clash and 4 others were maimed. According to the local officials, at least 2 ISIS loyalists were also killed during an Arclight airstrike involving unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) in Achin district on Sunday. Mashriqwal said a commander of the Taliban group who was involved in insurgency activities in Shenwar district, joined grinding of the peace processor as a result of the efforts of the Afghan Local Police (ALP) forces. 39 ISIS loyalists killed in Afghan forces raids in Nangarhar

At least 39 ISIS loyalists were killed during a raid by the Afghan national security forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said the militants were killed in air and ground operations conducted in Nazian, Achin and Kot districts. MoD further added that 15 militants affiliated with the terror group were also wounded during the same operations. Local security officials earlier said at least 19 militants were killed during the raids conducted in Kot district of Nangarhar as part of a military operation to clear the area from the militants presence. Provincial police spokesman Hazrat Hussain Mashriqwal said the operations are led by provincial police Chief Gen. Fazal Ahmad Sherzad. He said the Afghan forces kicked off the operations this morning and as a result at least 19 ISIS loyalits were killed and 15 others were wounded. Mashriqwal further added that the Afghan security forces did not suffer any casualties during the operations. This comes as the US forces conducted a drone strike in Achin district of Nangarhar province earlier, leaving at least 6 loyalists of the terror group dead. The Afghan forces have intensified counter-terrorism operations against the terror group loyalists amid concerns that attempts are being made by the militants affiliated with ISIS to expand foothold in Afghanistan.

Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal said the clash broke out in Karkani area late Tuesday leaving nine fighters of Daesh [Islamic State] and five Taliban killed. Those killed include Mir Gulab, a local commander of Taliban. Col. Mashriqiwal further said that six Taliban and four Daesh [Islamic State] hard boyz also sustained injuries in the shootout. According to the police spokesperson, two fighters of Taliban group have been taken into custody by Daesh [Islamic State]. The turban groups themselves have not yet commented on the report. However, a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all... Nangarhar has become a battle ground for them where they have announced ‘Jihad’ against each other. Thousands of turbans, most of them loyal to Taliban and Daesh [Islamic State], have been stationed in Nangarhar where they occasionally among themselves.

According to Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, the air strike was carried out in Mamond area of Achin district around 03:30 pm on Sunday. With its epicenter being Achin district, Nangarhar is the stronghold of Daesh [Islamic State] in the eastern part of the country, where the group is trying to establish a base of operations in its rugged mountains. Coalition officials estimate between 1,000 to 3,000 Islamic State fighters are stationed in eastern Afghanistan.

10 Pakistani nationals arrested in Nangarhar

Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesperson for Nangarhar Police Headquarters said these people who had been residing in Afghanistan without official documents were arrested during a search operation on Sunday. An investigation is underway from them to find out if they have links with any myrmidon group but if they had not been involved in any wrong doings, they would be sent back to their country.

Provincial police front man Hazrat Hussain Mashriqwal confirmed that the ISIS loyalists the Afghan forces as they were patrolling in the area. He said the ambush triggered a shootout that lasted for almost half an hour which led to death of 2 ISIS loyalists while 4 other murderous Moslems were maimed. Mashriqwal further added that the Afghan cops and the local residents did not suffer any casualties during the shootout. Nangarhar is among the relatively volatile provinces in eastern Afghanistan where anti-government armed murderous Moslems including the Taliban bully boyz and ISIS loyalists are actively operating in a number of its remote districts. The ISIS loyalists continue to their insurgency activities on occasional basis despite they received major blows as a result of the military operations and US Arclight airstrikes during the recent months. The Afghan cops launched a major operation in Achin districts of Nangarhar last month amid concerns that the ISIS loyalists are attempting to establish a regional basis in this province. The operations continued for a period of at least 21 days in Achin district which was mostly cleared of the bully boyz with the local officials saying nearly 300 murderous Moslems affiliated with the terror group were killed or maimed.

Two drug smugglers arrested in Nangarhar

Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesperson for the police headquarters said both smugglers were arrested from Samarkhil area. While talking to news hounds in Jalalabad, Col. Mashriqiwal added that Najibullah was arrested with 60 kilograms of hashish today and Ihsanullah with eight kilograms of hashish yesterday. Nangarhar police spokesperson further said that the smugglers were transporting the hashish in two vehicles. Najibullah and Ihsanullah have been put behind and taken under investigation in order to find out information about their partners in crime.

Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesperson for the police headquarters of Nangarhar said murderous Moslems had intended to carry out destructive activities in Tooragha area of Kot district but police and army prevented them immediately after receiving a tip-off around 10 am today. He said a clash erupted between the two sides which took about an hour and thirty minutes leaving several murderous Moslems killed and maimed, and one locked away You have the right to remain silent... . Col. Mashriqiwal added that four dead bodies were left behind from the murderous Moslems on the battle ground. Two fighters of the group were killed in an artillery attack in Achin district yesterday. Spokesperson of Nangarhar Police said artillery targeted residence of Abdullah, the group’s local commander in Pikhi area. Security forces and civilians did not suffer casualties in the incidents, the spokesperson added.
