Ellen DeGeneres’ Attack On Trump Backfires With LGBTQ Support For Donald |
2024-10-12 |
[RVMnews] Comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres …who used to be funny… recently found herself at the center of controversy after making a jab at former President Donald Trump![]() , implying he was anti-LGBT. The post, shared on her Instagram account, featured an image of a young boy in drag-style makeup with the words, "You can’t tell someone you love them and then vote for someone who will hurt them" written on his cheek. The post was met with widespread criticism from users, many of whom identified as part of the LGBTQ community, pushing back on DeGeneres’ portrayal of Trump as harmful to LGBT interests. One comment, which quickly garnered over 33,000 likes, read, "I’m gay and I’m voting for Trump. Do I hate myself? Absolutely not. Messages like these are what spreads hate." Other users shared similar sentiments, with one commenting, "As a lesbian, I had more under Trump. He’s got my vote," while another added, "Lesbian for Trump right here, baby." The responses continued to pour in, overwhelmingly in favor of Trump, leaving DeGeneres without much support for her original post. The situation highlights a divide in the LGBTQ community, where not all members align with the political left. While DeGeneres and many in Hollywood have vocally supported Democratic candidates, some individuals within the LGBTQ community have expressed their support for Trump, citing economic reasons and a focus on personal interests over identity politics. In response to the backlash, many commenters noted that DeGeneres, like other celebrities, assumed she could speak for an entire community based on her status and fame. However, a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth... the response from her own followers suggests a different reality, where many prioritize policy issues like the economy, inflation, and personal freedom over the identity-based narratives often promoted by the left. Adding to the conversation, Trump himself has courted support from various groups, including the LGBTQ community. During a campaign event on Tuesday, he playfully called out to a group in the audience, asking, "Where’s Gays for Trump?" The group responded enthusiastically, prompting Trump to joke, "You don’t look gay," which was met with laughter from the crowd. Trump’s approach has resonated with many who feel that being part of the LGBTQ community doesn’t necessitate aligning with the political left. Instead, they argue that voting based on one’s personal interests—such as the economy and national security—should take precedence over identity politics. Ellen DeGeneres’ social media post serves as a reminder that public figures, even those with large platforms, don’t always reflect the views of the communities they claim to represent. In this case, the backlash was swift and clear: many LGBTQ individuals are rejecting the notion that voting for Trump is incompatible with their identity, and they are making their voices heard. Shock & Awe Dick Slithers Out Of His Neocon Lair To Endorse Kamala Over 'Depraved' Trump |
2024-09-08 |
![]() The blood-curdling pot meet kettle irony of that statement coming from Dick-shock-and awe-Cheny aside... it's entirely to be expected in a post-"Global War on Terror" world (apparently everyone conveniently forgot) where GW Bush regularly pals around with the likes of Ellen DeGeneres. 83-year old Cheney said in his statement: "In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump." The real Joe Biden stands up — again |
2021-05-22 |
[AMERICANTHINKER] Our current situation, threatening as it is to all we hold dear as Americans, is not in any way comfortable. That said, it offers benefits. One of them is this: People are revealing themselves for who they are. Gone are the days of obfuscation, moderation, and triangulation. If you’re running for my school board, for example, I want to know where you stand on critical race theory. In other words, whether you’re out to destroy my children. Leave that off your Candidate’s Position Statement, and the rest of it isn’t helpful. The Office Holder Formerly Known as Joe The Big GuyBiden ![]() You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier... told anyone still harboring doubts all they needed to know about him in half an hour Wednesday. He addressed the graduates of the Coast Guard Academy, an elite group of 200, chosen from over 3000 who apply. For four years, they study science, warfare, and how to sail a tall ship. Thirty-five percent are women. I wager all are indeed the "fierce patriots" Biden called them in his speech. They listened politely as Biden did four things in rapid succession that revealed his character and fitness to lead. Spoiler alert: he can claim neither. He could not recall the name of the Coast Guard Commander. No doubt teleprompters were in place, as usual, and perhaps an earpiece, too, but it was beyond him. He turned away from the microphone for help, then uttered a few garbled syllables. This comes as no surprise to anyone who has observed his remarkable cognitive decline. He borrowed without accreditation a longstanding quote about the Coast Guard; namely, that it is "the hard nucleus around which the Navy forms in time of war." Doing so was a bad idea for a politician known for shameless plagiarism. Ronald Reagan and Dick Cheney both used the quote in speeches, with greater care about its source. Unlike them, Biden bungled the quote. His truncated rendition made little sense. Did he even grasp its meaning? Like Ron Burgundy, he reads whatever is on the teleprompter, but a missing word or two ruins the punchline, as any comedian will tell you. Done correctly, the old jab at the Navy, a far larger branch of the service, is very much an inside joke, one that is mildly funny to an audience of Coast Guard Ensigns, if even to them. Biden’s misread version made no sense. It got no laughs and no applause. And that is when the real Joe Biden stood up. Like a bombing third-rate comic, he heckled the audience. "You’re a really dull class," he began. "C’mon, man. Is the sun getting to you?" Defenders will claim he was kidding. He wasn’t. As professional joke-teller Ellen DeGeneres once put it, "If you were, we’d both be laughing." New Englanders of a previous generation have a term for it: "Half in jest, all in earnest." His mean streak was showing. Leftists like Biden desperately want to be liked, despite their contempt for half their fellow citizens. They can hardly believe we don’t all fawn over them as the sycophants in their entourages and the toadies in the media do. In this respect, they lack the unvarnished honesty of tyrants like Stalin, who knew they were hated and feared, and enjoyed it. It was the price of the power they prized above all else. To the extent that his thoughts are still his own, Joe Biden despises the values of every "fierce patriot" in his Coast Guard commencement audience and the values of the families who raised them to serve their nation. Nonetheless, he can’t seem to figure out why they wouldn’t want to pose for a picture with him. Like the vampires of legend, today’s Left can’t stand the sight of a mirror. We know who they are, and how they feel about us. They would rather not be reminded. |

Inspiring: Celebrities Spell Out 'We're All In This Together' With Their Yachts |
2020-04-28 |
No matter how they expressed their emotions, everyone agreed that the scene off the Malibu coast Monday morning was exactly what America needed to get through this pandemic. Celebrities gathered their multi-million-dollar yachts on the waters of the Pacific Ocean and spelled out "WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER." "We're just like you," said Ellen DeGeneres on her Instagram as her servants sailed her yacht into position to form the apostrophe. "Yes, maybe I have a yacht and you've only ever been on the Storybook Canal boats at Disneyland, but still. It's pretty much the same thing." "Stay home, save lives -- it's not that hard," said Patton Oswalt, whose fleet of yachts made up several of the letters. "Look, poor people, it's not worth risking your life just to go to Fuddruckers or work a job or whatever it is you peasants do all day." After the stunt was over, Oswalt had his chauffeur drive him home in his hot tub limousine as he snorted several million dollars' worth of powdered caviar. "All of humanity is fighting this together and we're all as one," said Lady Gaga, who was wearing a bathing suit made out of gold bricks. "Though, I mean, don't try to get on my yacht. My guards will literally shoot you. That's not a metaphor." |

'Big Mike' and Ellen Degenerate sing duet about latest book |
2019-11-22 |
The book is a "guided journal" for readers and will function as a companion piece to her critically-acclaimed 2018 memoir "Becoming." The book will include inspiring questions and quotes that are "designed to help readers reflect on their personal and family history, their goals, challenges, and dreams, what moves them and brings them hope, and what future they imagine for themselves and their community," according to a release from publisher Penguin Random House. With DeGeneres playing the piano, she and Obama sang a song promoting the new project. Obama provided the "lyrics" in the caption of her post: |

After Gillette, next male-market sports company caves to transgender madness |
2019-09-30 |
[AMERICANTHINKER] First was the Gillette's razor commercial with its not so subtle message about so-called toxic masculinity![]() menare girls transitioning to boys, or boys transitioning to girls, or either transitioning to sheep... . As USA Today put it: In a two-minute advertisement, the famous Procter & Gamble brand tells men to "say the right thing" and "act the right way." The ad plays on the company's slogan, "The best a man can get," replacing it with, "The best a man can be." It portrays a montage of male bullying, harassment and sexist behavior and men stepping in to intervene to stop the behavior. That was relatively mild. Then Gillette followed up with an ad in which Samson Bonkeabantu Brown, a trans rights activist, is shown how to shave by her father. The commercial spends more time with the young Brown talking about how happy she is in transitioning than anything about shaving itself. The only mention of Gillette or its razors in the 64-second commercial is the last five seconds, when the name Gillette silently appears on the screen. I'd ask if this commercial is advertising or propaganda, except that the answer is obvious. Lesbian TV hostess Ellen DeGeneres called this Gillette ad "nothing short of incredible." Indeed, it was, Ellen. Both Gillette ads drew a firestorm of criticism, but Procter & Gamble is undaunted. Now there's another iconic male brand doing its bit to spread gender confusion. It's Everlast, the global leader in boxing-, MMA-, and fitness-related sporting goods, equipment, footwear, and accessories. Here's what the company did, as reported by Page Six: In December, Patricio Manuel became the first transgender boxer in the world to compete in a professional-level fight. And now, Everlast is recognizing the athlete's groundbreaking achievement by naming him [sic] the face of its newest "Be First" campaign. The 34-year old fighter first garnered the industry's attention as a female boxer before choosing to transition in 2013. Manuel, who is female, was a five-time USA woman's national amateur boxing champion. Video at the site shows a three-minute video clip of Manuel today explaining her "transition" and some footage of her first pro fight in 2018 as a man, which she won. Manuel has had no pro fights since. Dem Sen Kamala Harris Jokes About Killing Trump, Pence, Sessions |
2018-04-06 |
[Breitbart] Thursday on "The Ellen Show," Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) joked about killing President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, or Attorney General Jeff Sessions if they were in an elevator together. During a rapid fire question "vetting," host Ellen DeGeneres asked, "If you had to be stuck on an elevator with either President Trump, Mike Pence, or Jeff Sessions, who would it be?" Harris quipped, "Does one of us have to come out alive?" Degenerate does the 'set up', Harris the slam-dunk. DeGeneres put down her cards to clap as Harris laughed. Will anyone bother to file a complaint with the Senate Ethics Committee? Of course not. That would be.... well, you know. |

Michelle Obama to frightened Americans: 'All we have is hope' |
2018-02-01 |
![]() Ah yes. How'd that hopey-changey thing work out for you anyway? "All we have is hope," the former first lady says in a preview clip from Thursday's "Ellen" show. After that dummy Trump paddled every other Republican in sight in the primaries and then the Chosen Candidate in the election, he went to work on your smart husband's legacy and has pretty much dismantled it in a year even though he's pulled several punches. Yeah, all you got left is hope. But not in your lifetime. Obama's sit-down with host Ellen DeGeneres marks her first TV interview since leaving the White House last year. ![]() "People are afraid, but then there are people who feel good about the direction of the country, so I mean, that’s what makes this country complicated because it’s made up of so many different people from different backgrounds," Obama tells DeGeneres, when asked what advice she'd give people who find the world to be a "scary place right now." Whatever that means. "The thing I learned in the eight years that I was in the White House is that what we do every day in our lives, the good things that we do every day ‐ and we know we do it: we show empathy, we care for each other, you know, we do have a lot in common," says Obama. "That’s what it means to lead with hope and not fear." "I would just encourage your viewers, the country, to do the things we do every day: to love each other, to take care of each other, to show empathy ‐ and you can’t do that only when people make you feel good or safe," the 54-year-old Obama said, without mentioning President Trump. "We’ve got to do it all across the board." Just ignore the crime and problems we've invited by bringing in MS-13 and any terrorists hiding amongst the good immigrants. "We have to be an open-hearted nation and that’s who we are," she added. Open hearted to everyone but our own citizens because we can depend on you voting without thinking about it. "So, let’s just keep living our lives like that every single day and forget what they’re saying in Washington. That’s not necessarily who we are. We know who we are." We are the only ones whose opinion matters, not the majority. That's who we are. Obama also shared some lighter moments with DeGeneres as part of the daytime talk show host's 60th birthday celebration on her eponymous chatfest. Personally, I'd prefer to see the floor dropped out from under her like the contestants in that stupid game show Ellen runs. The ex-executive mansion resident gifted DeGeneres with a few birthday goodies, including boxed wine, Metamucil, push-up handles and a Barack Obama Chia pet. Now that's just plain racist. |
