2025-07-18 | |
[CNN] President Donald Trump announced what could be refreshing news to some Americans on Wednesday: thanks to him, Coke is changing its American recipe. "I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so. I’d like to thank all of those in authority at Coca-Cola," Trump said in a post to social media. "This will be a very good move by them — You’ll see. It’s just better!" A spokesperson for The Coca-Cola Company did not confirm the change, but told CNN in a statement, "We appreciate President Trump’s enthusiasm for our iconic Coca-Cola brand. More details on new innovative offerings within our Coca-Cola product range will be shared soon." ------------------

Pakistani authorities arrest over 170 for anti-US, anti-Israel attacks on KFC stores |
2025-04-19 |
[IsraelTimes] One employee shot and killed this week, police say, though motives are unclear; local Islamist group says it supports boycotts of Israel but has not called for assaults Police have arrested scores of people in Pakistan in recent weeks after more than 10 mob attacks on outlets of US fast-food chain KFC, sparked by anti-United States sentiment and opposition to its ally Israel’s war in Gaza, officials said. Police in major cities in the Islamic nation, including the southern port city of Karachi, the eastern city of Lahore and the capital Islamabad, confirmed at least 11 incidents in which KFC outlets were attacked by protesters armed with sticks and vandalized. At least 178 people were arrested, the officials said this week. KFC and its parent company, Yum Brands YUM.N, both US-based, did not respond to requests for comment. A police official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said one KFC employee was shot and killed this week in a store on the outskirts of Lahore by unknown gunmen. The official added that there was no protest at the time and that they were investigating whether the killing was motivated by political sentiment. In Lahore, police said they were ramping up security at 27 KFC outlets around the city after two attacks, while five others were prevented. “We are investigating the role of different individuals and groups in these attacks,” said Faisal Kamran, a senior Lahore police officer, adding that 11 people, including a member of the Islamist religious party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), were arrested in the city. He added that the protests were not officially organized by TLP. TLP spokesman Rehan Mohsin Khan said the group “has urged Muslims to boycott Israeli products, but it has not given any call for protest outside KFC.” “If any other person claiming to be a TLP leader or activist has indulged in such activity, it should be taken as his personal act which has nothing to do with the party’s policy,” Khan said. KFC has long been viewed as a symbol of the United States in Pakistan and has borne the brunt of anti-American sentiment in recent decades with protests and attacks. Western brands have been hit by boycotts and other forms of protest in Pakistan and other Muslim-majority countries in recent months over Israel’s military operation in the Gaza Strip, following the Hamas deadly onslaught of October 7, 2023. Yum Brands has said one of its other brands, Pizza Hut, has faced a protracted impact from boycotts related to Israel’s war in Gaza. In Pakistan, local brands have made inroads into its fast-growing cola market as some consumers avoid US brands. In 2023, Coca-Cola’s market share in the consumer sector in Pakistan fell to 5.7% from 6.3% in 2022, according to GlobalData, while PepsiCo’s fell to 10.4% from 10.8%. Earlier this month, religious clerics in Pakistan called for a boycott of any products or brands that they say support Israel or the American economy, but asked people to stay peaceful and not destroy property. American billionaire granted USAID funds for Gaza project allegedly funneled cash to Hamas for 'terror tunnels'

The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... infrastructure projects to help Paleostinian Lions of Islam build their terror tunnel network. According to a lawsuit filed on Monday on behalf of American October 7 massacre victims by law firms Osen LLC, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Stein Mitchell Beato & Missner LLP, and Motley Rice LLC, in 2021, Masri allegedly rebuilt the Gaza Industrial Estate (GIE), a 480,000 square meter industrial park that had been established in 1997 with support from USAID, turning it into a hub of Hamas ![]() operations including for the terrorist tunnel network, which was used to cross under the border to attack Israelis. "Above ground, the GIE was a showcase for legitimate businesses like Coca-Cola and a variety of light manufacturing companies," the suit stated. "But beneath the surface, Masri and the companies he controls worked with Hamas to construct and conceal an elaborate subterranean attack tunnel network which Hamas used to burrow under the border into Israel, to attack nearby Israeli communities, and to ambush Israeli military personnel. Hamas also used the GIE to probe the border fence and test the IDF's response times and countermeasures in the lead up to the October 7 Attack." The lawsuit claimed that Masri in May 2022 "personally presided over the signing of a joint venture agreement with Hamas to rebuild parts of the GIE," with Hamas manufacturing division commander and economy minister Abd al-Fattah al-Zari'I, who was killed in an Israeli ... KABOOM!... in August for his role in organizing terrorist operations and seizing humanitarian aid ![]()
The lawsuit did not say that Masri knew about the October 7 attack, but it did assert that he was aware that Hamas was using his properties for military purposes. The lawsuit said that Masri held longtime animosity toward Israel, including by helping plan the First Intifada. He sought to remake himself as a businessperson after moving to the US and investing in development projects in Palestinian areas, but continued “conspiring with Hamas” to build infrastructure used in the October 7 attack and provided cover for the terror group’s “true violent aims,” the lawsuit said. Masri used his image to solicit investments from US institutions, the World Bank, the United Nations and the European Union, it alleged. Some of Masri’s development projects appeared to be legitimate, but were also used to build and hide Hamas tunnels, store rockets, host Hamas leaders, train Hamas operatives, and produce electricity for Hamas tunnels, the case said. The lawsuit focused on the Gaza Industrial Estate, a 480,000-square-meter industrial park across the border from Kibbutz Nahal Oz, one of the hardest-hit communities in the October 7 attack. Masri regularly visited the property after it housed Hamas tunnels and weaponry. Masri’s companies later condemned Israel for striking the properties, despite knowing they were used by Hamas, the lawsuit said. Masri also oversaw two luxury hotels in Gaza that Hamas, including its late chief Yahya Sinwar, used to host events. The terror group’s tunnels ran underneath, and were connected to, the hotels, the suit said. One of the hotels, the Blue Beach, was allegedly connected by tunnel to a Hamas training facility. The terror group used the hotels as a base of operations and to ambush IDF troops, the lawsuit said. About clearing Gaza: Half of All Palestinians Are Expats |
2025-02-23 |
Answering the unasked but important question. Especially given that in surveys in the years before the invasion something like three quarters of Gazan young people wanted to leave the Strip, but were not allowed to by Hamas. President Trumo’s proposal is answering a deeply felt need over there. [RichardPollock] About half of all Paleostinians — six million - voluntarily live outside of Gazoo...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... and the West Bank. This inconvenient fact is ignored when we discuss where Paleostinians call home. Some choose to live in the Paleostinian territories, but at least half have shunned these lands - and for a very long time. Up to 300,000 Paleostinians currently reside in Europe. A half million live in Chile and hundreds of thousands more live throughout South America. More than 200,000 are in the U.S. and influenced the 2004 election of Donald Trump ...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down... In the Middle East, more than 2 million live in Israel as full fledged citizens who can vote and have representation in the Israeli Knesset, the country’s parliament. Others have found successful livelihoods in Saudi Arabia ![]() , Bahrain, the UAE, and Leb ...home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade.... and Jordan. Having established themselves for half a century or more in their adopted homes, few consider going back to the West Bank or Gaza. So living outside of the Gaza Strip isn’t unthinkable. In fact, it has been thinkable for quite some time. And there is another special kind of Paleostinian expat that has been a well-kept secret. This group consists of fabulously wealthy Paleostinians who are derisively called by the Paleostinian man-on-the-street as the "exiled bourgeoise of Paleostine." Pamela Ann Smith, writing for the progressive Middle East Research and Information Project in 1986 first described this group of wealthy Paleostinians as the exile Bourgeoisie of Paleostine. Smith wrote then that the rise of the Paleostinian’s Black September terror organization and the radicalization of its population "led to the emigration of substantial numbers of the Paleostinian middle class, to Cyprus, Amman, Gay Paree and London. As the (Lebanese) war dragged on, many began to build more permanent ties in their new places of refuge. Today Paleostinian firms play a leading role within the Arab community in London and, to a lesser extent, in Gay Paree as well." As the Washington producer for ABC’s "Good Morning America," I once personally met hundreds of these well-heeled Paleostinians at a 1993 grand soiree in Washington, DC. I’ll never quite forget the experience. They screamed of unspeakable wealth and contrary to Moslem law, enthusiastically crowded the hotel’s well-kept bar. These Paleostinian expats didn’t reside in the dusty West Bank or in Gaza or in other parts of the Middle East. These exiles called home in places like London, Gay Paree, Geneva, Milan, or Florence. The largest expat community outside of the Middle East was there too, from Santiago, Chile. Far from the media’s gaze, these are wealthy and highly successful Paleostinians. They are largely invisible, and many have little interest in living in Gaza or in the West Bank. One wealthy Paleostinian who did attract some media attention about his unseemly riches was the Paleostinian Liberation Organization leader, Yassar Arafat. Just before his death, CBS "60 Minutes" estimated his personal wealth to be between $1 and $3 billion. CBS reported that a large portion of Arafat’s wealth came from corruption and from secret sweetheart deals that were hidden from the Paleostinian people. They reported, "part of the Paleostinian leader's wealth was in a secret portfolio worth close to $1 billion -- with investments in companies like a Coca-Cola bottling plant in Ramallah, a Tunisian cell phone company and venture capital funds in the U.S. and the Cayman Islands." His wife, Zuha Arafat, a Paleostinian Christian, married the PLO leader when he was 61 and she was 27. She was already living in Gay Paree, where Arafat eventually died. The average Paleostinian apparently despised Zuha. The Times of Melbourne reported in 2004," On the streets, Suha is more often condemned as a scheming minx who bewitched the leader and ripped off vast sums of public money to finance a lavish lifestyle in Gay Paree." Their only child was daughter Zahwa who was born in 1995 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, La Belle France.Neuilly-sur-Seine is one of the most affluent areas of La Belle France and it’s the wealthiest and the most expensive suburb of Gay Paree. Zahwa is estimated by Israeli sources to be worth as much as $8 billion. Although highly secretive, she reportedly lives in luxury with prime real estate in London, Gay Paree and Malta. Despite this, she is still considered a "refugee" and is eligible for UNRWA funds — welfare payments from the highly corrupt United Nations ...boodling on the grand scale... Relief and Works Agency. In 2024, President Biden, along with a dozen other countries, halted payments to UNRWA after it was discovered that members of the relief organization enthusiastically took part in the October 7, 2023 Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... -led slaughter, killing 1,200 and seizing 250 hostages. Many years earlier, in 1993, I had the opportunity to meet and socialize with many of the Suha Arafat’s affluent contemporaries. In September of that year, Arafat traveled to DC to sign a peace accord with Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. They did so on the South Lawn of the White House. A beaming Bill Clinton ...former Democratic president of the U.S. Bill was the second U.S. president to be impeached, the first to deny that oral sex was sex, the first to have difficulty with the definition of the word is... stood beside them. To celebrate the event, thousands of the wealthy Paleostinians filled a deluxe DC hotel then called the "ANA Hotel," named after the Japanese airline. The ANA was an exclusive, four diamond-rated hotel. When you entered, you faced a three tier Italianate fountain. The ninth floor was a secure floor, isolated from the rest of the hotel for security. There, Arafat and his PLO staff resided. The Presidential Suite, where Arafat likely stayed featured portraits of George and Martha Washington. The hallways were decorated with portraits of previous First Ladies. I was asked by my "Good Morning America" bosses in New York to try to book Arafat or one of his top advisors on our morning show. So, I showed up at the hotel in DC’s affluent Foggy Bottom. The hotel was bustling with the Paleostinian elite’s "beautiful people." They mobbed the hotel’s lobby, bar and restaurant. They were elegant. The women wore sexy haute couture dresses that hugged them. The men wore custom tailored suits. I knew Hanan Ashwari, the PLO’s central spokeswoman who resided in one of the PLO’s ninth floor suites. She was more modestly dressed than those socializing in the hotel. And she was on her game with American news hounds: friendly, articulate and energetic. As a news hound and producer, I wanted to understand: who are these well-dressed people swarming throughout the hotel? I spent several afternoons and evenings to meet as many Paleostinian as possible. At first, I naively asked them where they lived in the Paleostinian territories. One well-dressed young Paleostinian at the bar sneered at me when I mentioned, "The West Bank." He retorted, "I haven’t been to the West Bank in ages." His parents were originally from Ramallah, the West Bank’s capital. Home as it turned out was in London. He was born there. From then on, I didn’t ask where in the Paleostinian territories they called home. I simply asked where they lived. As it turns out, they were living in Gay Paree, Florence, Milan, Stockholm, New York, Geneva and Santiago, Chile. Santiago has the largest diaspora community with today more than a half million Paleostinians living there. And while most Paleostinians are regarded as leftists, in Chile the Paleostinians were opposed to the socialist government of Salvadore Allende and welcomed the military coup that installed Gen. Augusto Pinochet, according to Paleostine studies.org. The idea of population transfers to other countries isn’t new. In fact, it’s what the United States has been built on. Many have added value to other countries and to their families, translating a near-disasters into success stories. The movement of populations isn’t unique. In fact, it’s the story of our modern time. As Sadanand Dhume, a Wall Street Journal columnist recently wrote, "Many population transfers have taken place over the past century. In the 1920s, Greece and ...a NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions... member, but not the most reliable... agreed to a forced population swap: Greek Orthodox Christians in Turkey moved to Greece, while Moslems in Greece moved to Turkey. After World War II, millions of Indians and Paks were forced to find new homes, as were ethnic Germans from Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union. In the 1970s, Uganda expelled Indians. Only in the Paleostinian case has the refugee question festered endlessly. So, I salute the exiled bourgeoise Paleostinians. They are a roaring success to their expat communities and proud members of their adopted countries. |

LA Mayor Karen Bass'' office hit with accusations of ''legalized corruption'' |
2025-01-19 |
[NYPOST] Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass got into office promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and promising to tackle homelessness and pollution — but she never promised to drain the swamp. Now she stands accused of adding to it, through ''legalized corruption'' and a number of eye opening scandals which have come to light after renewed scrutiny in the last two weeks following the revelation Bass and her cronies defunded the Los Angeles Fire Department by $17 million, contributing to them being underprepared to tackle the wildfires currently destroying the city. These include:
DWP is controlled by the mayor and city council. Last year, Bass hired Janisse Quinones, a fellow progressive who opaquely stressed her mission would be “righting the wrongs that we’ve done in the past from an infrastructure perspective,” as CEO of the utility. Bass pays her a $750,000 salary — almost double what her predecessor was making. Quinones has been blamed by some members of the city’s fire department for failing to fix broken hydrants, many of which ran dry as the Palisades fire consumed homes in the Malibu and Pacific Palisades neighborhoods on Jan. 8. Consumer Watchdog and the Los Angeles Times launched a lawsuit in federal court last year to unseal dozens of warrants in an extortion scheme involving the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and the DWP. The unsealed documents, some 1,400 pages, revealed the FBI believed Mike Feuer, the former City Attorney – the top lawyer to the city — had lied to investigators when he denied knowledge of a hush money payment to hide a litigation scandal in his office. He called the claims “absurd” and was never prosecuted. Feuer had run against Bass for mayor in 2022 but dropped out of the race and endorsed her. In turn, Bass endorsed Feuer, calling him “a longtime colleague and friend” who would “deliver for Los Angeles,” in a failed race for US Congress in 2023. “We have a pay-to-play culture in Los Angeles,” said Susan Shelley, a member of the editorial board of the Southern California New Group, a columnist and vice president of communications for the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, a non-profit. “It’s legalized corruption.” In Los Angeles, politicians can request “behested payments” or donations from individuals and companies who have business before the city. “This would be called ‘extortion’ elsewhere,” said Shelley, adding the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles has received some $1.8 million in behested payments from companies such as AT&T and Coca Cola, among others. DC: Trayon White Cruises To Reelection After Getting Caught On Camera Allegedly Taking Wads Of Cash In Bribes |
2024-11-07 |
![]() Trayon White Sr. won his race with around 76% of the vote, according to the D.C. Board of Elections. White was charged with bribery this past August. He allegedly agreed to accept $156,000 in cash payments in exchange for using his position to pressure government employees at the D.C. Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services ((DYRS) and the Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE) to extend multiple city contracts, according to the Department of Justice. "Because the investigation into the alleged bribery scheme involved contracts that could soon be awarded and other potential official acts that could be taken, our Office took swift steps to address the alleged crimes we were investigating," U.S. Attorney for D.C., Matthew M. Graves, stated. "What you need me to do, man? I don’t, I don’t wanna feel like you gotta gimme something to get something. We better than that," White told a confidential source when offered an envelope with $15,000 in cash, according to an arrest affidavit from the FBI’s D.C. Field Office. However, White allegedly took the envelope and put it in his pocket. White was accused of making anti-Semitic comments in 2018 after he suggested that Jewish bankers — the Rothschilds — controlled the climate, The Washington Post reported. He later apologized for his comments. White also donated $500 to a Nation of Islam event that same year, according to The Washington Post. Black Lives Matter Global circling the drain as it runs out of cash: report |
2024-10-25 |
[FoxNews] 'BLM’s leaders exploited George Floyd’s murder to raise millions that they then put into their own pockets,' Sean Patrick Cooper wrote Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation is running out of cash and nearing its end "unless something changes dramatically," according to a new report. The Free Press, an independent news organization founded by former New York Times journalist Bari Weiss, on Tuesday published a scathing deep dive into the "scrappy start-up that struck gold in 2020" headlined "BLM Collected Over $90 Million in Donations. Where Did It Go?" "Capitalizing on the lucrative opportunities afforded to them as high-profile progressives, the three celebrity founders moved on, leaving the operation to wither in the hands of deputies who, sadly, turned on each other. A remarkable spate of legal trouble, brushes with law enforcement, and tangles with the Internal Revenue Service have all but spelled the death of the enterprise that you probably know best as Black Lives Matter," Free Press reporter Sean Patrick Cooper wrote. "The spectacular rise and fall of BLM has surprisingly little in common with earlier civil rights campaigns, other than, perhaps, good intentions," he continued. "How BLM’s leaders exploited George Floyd’s murder to raise millions that they then put into their own pockets more closely resembles the stories of famous grifters like Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos or Sam Bankman-Fried’s foray into ‘effective altruism.’" Cooper noted that in 2020, at the height of activism related to the death of George Floyd, corporations "revved up their diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, and threw millions of dollars at BLM" but four years later "DEI programs are in retreat" and the left cares more about Israel than police reform. "And BLM four years later? It looks like little more than a hustle," Cooper wrote. He feels the "latest proof" is that Sir Maejor Page, also known as Tyree Conyers-Page, a former leader of the Atlanta area BLM chapter, was sentenced to 3-and-a-half years in federal prison for money laundering and wire fraud earlier this month. But Page isn’t the only former BLM leader to face unflattering accusations. "For years, local chapters have fought national parent BLM organizations in disputes over who actually represents the movement and are thus the rightful heirs to tens of millions of dollars in donations. You’ll note that I mentioned parent organizations. There are actually two of them: BLM Global Network Foundation and BLM Grassroots. The latter was formed in 2019 as an umbrella organization of local chapters of the group and is co-directed by Melina Abdullah. Since then, media reports have accused Abdullah and other chapter leaders of using Grassroots’ coffers to pay for vacations to Jamaica and her own personal expenses. (She hasn’t been charged with a crime," Cooper wrote. "Abdullah has denied the allegations, but at least $8.7 million in donations is unaccounted for. The answer to where the money went may come soon," he continued. "California attorney general Rob Bonta has demanded that Grassroots turn over delinquent tax filings and late fees before Sunday, October 27. If it doesn’t, the organization’s tax-exempt status will be revoked." The Free Press report declared that "charting the entire implosion of BLM is a confusing, chaotic endeavor," made even more confusing by legal disputes between BLM Global and BLM Grassroots. It detailed how BLM Global founders acquired a Los Angeles mansion, another mansion in Canada billed as a "transfeminist, queer affirming space politically aligned with supporting Black liberation work across Canada," and additional real estate including a Georgia property big enough for a private runway. Cooper reported that co-founder Patrisse Cullors, who has long denied misusing funds, also paid several friends and relatives hundreds of thousands of dollars for things like security "services." "But lately, donations to BLM Global have gone from a torrent to a trickle. In the fiscal year that ended in June 2023, BLM Global collected $4.6 million while spending $10.8 million, according to its federal filings. And while it still has $25 million in assets, its cash is dwindling. Unless something changes dramatically, the end is likely nigh," Cooper wrote. "Maybe, if the founders had been as committed to social justice as to enriching themselves, BLM could have enjoyed a long life as a progressive institution," he added. "But it wasn’t to be." Cullors did not immediately respond to a request for comment. She has long denied any wrongdoing related to misusing funds. Black Lives Matter did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Ahmed Fawzi Nasser Muhammad Wadiyya was among eight Hamas bully boyz killed in the strike on a compound used by the terror group near Gaza City’s al-Ahli hospital, according to a joint statement from the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet. The military said that Wadiyya was the commander of a Nukhba force company in the terror group’s Daraj-Tuffah Battalion. On October 7, he entered Netiv Ha’asara — a moshav near the Gaza border — by paraglider and oversaw the massacre of 22 of the community’s 900 residents. He was the terrorist who was filmed drinking Coca-Cola from the fridge of the Taasa family home, moments after murdering Gil Taasa, 46, in front of his two youngest sons, Koren, 12, and Shay, 8, inside the same home. Gil, a senior firefighter in the Ashkelon fire station, grabbed his gun and shot at the bully boyz until he ran out of bullets, his son Koren later recounted in an interview with the Kan public broadcaster. Then, the bully boyz threw a grenade into the shelter they were hiding in: "There’s no way he wasn’t afraid but he decided to save us and he jumped on the grenade... there was a kaboom, I saw smoke, and suddenly we were covered in blood." Koren said the bully boyz came to check that Gil was actually dead, then drank the cola that was in the fridge and left the house. The two maimed brothers ran next door to their mother, where they hid in their safe room for hours until they were evacuated. Gil’s oldest son Or, 17, had left early that morning to go fishing with some friends on Zikim beach, where he was murdered in the onslaught. The family was updated on Monday that the IDF and the Shin Bet had taken out Wadiyya amid the ongoing war in Gaza, sparked by Hamas’s October 7 massacre, which left 1,200 dead and 251 taken hostage. The IDF said that the other seven bully boyz killed in the Gaza City strike were also members of the Daraj-Tuffah Battalion, including one who was involved in supplying the bombs used by the terror group to breach the Gaza security barrier on October 7. The strike took place outside the hospital, and the military noted that it took various steps to mitigate harm to civilians. FBI arrests DC councilman who in 2018 accused Jewish financiers of 'climate manipulation' |
2024-08-19 |
[FoxNews] Trayon White Sr made news in 2018 for accusing Jewish financiers for 'climate manipulation' The FBI arrested a Washington, D.C., city councilman on Sunday, though the circumstances surrounding the matter are not yet clear. City Council President Phil Mendelson confirmed that fellow council member Trayon White Sr. was arrested on Sunday afternoon. "I've talked to several people. I can confirm he was arrested around 2 o'clock by the FBI," Mendelson told a WTTG reporter. "I'm anxious to get more details to understand what is the situation. … You all know as much as I know." Fox News has reached out to the FBI Washington field office, which declined to comment at this time. White made national headlines in March 2018 when he suggested that Jewish financiers control the weather. The claim came as he filmed himself driving through downtown Washington in the snow and ranted about "climate manipulation." "And D.C. keep talking about, ‘We’re a resilient city.’ And that’s a model based off the Rothschilds controlling the climate to create natural disasters they can pay for to own the cities, man," he said in the now-deleted video. "Be careful." The Rothschilds, a European Jewish banking family descended from Mayer Amschel Rothschild, have been the subject of antisemitic conspiracy theories for centuries, including that they control the world’s financial institutions and manipulate world events to their benefit. White initially defended his comments, saying, "The video says what it says," but he later apologized to the Jewish community. In addition to his comments about the Rothschilds, White also tweeted at prominent antisemitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan in 2013 and said he was "honored" to share a birthday with Farrakhan, adding, "I must respect his intelligence, will, & boldness." Ultra-Orthodox block main road for hours in draft protest; 32 arrested |
2024-06-28 |
[IsraelTimes] Haredi demonstrators rail against High Court order to draft yeshiva students, call police ‘Nazis’ and vow to die before enlisting Ultra-Orthodox protesters blocked a main traffic junction for several hours on Thursday at a demonstration against proposals to draft them into the military. The demonstrators scuffled with police, who arrested at least 32 participants. Police said some protesters blocking Route 4 at the Coca-Cola Junction in Bnei Brak called them “Nazis” and lay under police vehicles to block them. Police were seen using mounted officers in attempts to clear the road during rush hour. After some three hours police announced that the road was finally open. Some protesters called for violence, while others vowed to go to jail or die instead of enlisting. Demonstrators carried signs reading: “All Haredi Jews are forbidden from enlisting, even those who are not yeshiva students.” The sign was referring to a talking point often made in public discourse that many of the ultra-Orthodox men who receive exemptions on account of their status as yeshiva students do not actually study at yeshivas. The demonstrators belonged to the extremist Jerusalem Faction, which numbers some 60,000 members and regularly demonstrates against the enlistment of yeshiva students. Many ultra-Orthodox Jews believe that military service is incompatible with their way of life and fear that those who do enlist will be secularized. The protest was a response to the High Court of Justice’s landmark ruling on Tuesday that ordered the Israel Defense Forces to begin conscripting ultra-Orthodox men and halt funding to yeshivas that do not comply. BLM Global Network files $33 million lawsuit against group helping fund college protests
2024-05-10 | |
[NYPOST] A progressive nonprofit that has been shelling out cash to anti-Israel protest groups is being sued by Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation for fraud and withholding more than $33 million in donations, a bombshell lawsuit claims. Tides Foundation, which has managed hundreds of millions in donations for progressive groups since it was founded in 1976, has "refused to honor its promises and continues to commandeer BLMGNF’s donations," according to the 285-page lawsuit filed in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Superior Court, Los Angeles County, on Monday. Instead, Tides doled out an undisclosed amount of donations to a radical BLM breakaway group run by anti-police activist Melina Abdullah — who lost a "frivolous" lawsuit against BLMGNF — according to court papers and an attorney for BLMGNF. ![]() ...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964... -based nonprofit, acts as a fiscal sponsor — essentially, a clearinghouse that collects donations for groups that may not have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. In addition to BLMGNF and other BLM groups, it manages donations for pro-Paleostinian groups that have supported anti-Israel protests across the country. Billionaire George Soros ...either Ernst Stavro Blofeld or Auric Goldfinger come true... and his son Alex Soros have funneled nearly $14 million from their Open Society Foundations to Tides, which sponsors activist groups including the pro-Paleostinian Adalah Justice Project and others fueling campus protests. "Tides has engaged in deceptive business practices and has operated in a quasi-banking capacity without appropriate regulatory oversight of licenses," the BLMGNF lawsuit says. "Tides operates with a level of autonomy and minimal regulatory scrutiny that is starkly at odds with the regulatory framework imposed on traditional financial institutions." According to the lawsuit, Tides has more than $1.4 billion in assets and allegedly acts as a bank — only without banking regulations. BLMGNF, the national organization of the civil rights movement founded in 2017, took in tens of millions in donations after the death of Saint George Floyd ![]() in 2020. At the time, the group did not have tax-exempt status from the IRS ...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies... , and approached the Tides Foundation to help it manage the flood of cash. Tides, which takes a percentage of donations to manage a group’s funds, gave verbal assurances that it would return the collected money once BLMGNF received tax-exempt status, the lawsuit claims. In the meantime, it managed donations in a "collective action fund" that would be accessible to BLMGNF, according to the lawsuit. BLMGNF ended its relationship with Tides in 2022, and Tides has refused to hand over the cash, totaling some $33 million, the complaint says. Instead, Tides, which takes between 3% and 9% of the donations it processes, has sent part of the funds to other BLM groups without the permission of BLMGNF, the lawsuit says. On June 9, 2022, a Tides official said Tides had transferred $7.4 million from the collective fund back to BLMGNF. Instead, it sent part of the cash — $4.75 million — to an unaffiliated BLM chapter in Oklahoma City, the lawsuit says. "It is unclear why such a large amount would have been granted to a single city’s BLM chapter," the lawsuit says. In a statement to The Post Wednesday, a spokeswoman for Tides Foundation called the allegations in the complaint "completely false." "Resources in the Black Lives Matter [collective action fund] were never intended to be granted to large, well-funded national organizations like Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, and were always intended to be granted to local Black Lives Matter chapters," the Tides statement says. "BLMGNF’s lawsuit seeks to circumvent the intent of the Fund’s donors and deprive grassroots Black Lives Matter chapters critical resources, for its own benefit." While Tides’ website mentions that it offers "grant management," an attorney for BLMGNF said in a statement to The Post that Tides was not authorized to dole out donations earmarked for BLMGNF to offshoot groups or local chapters. Tides said it had granted $12.6 million from the Support Fund to groups, including BLM Grassroots, a breakaway group helmed by activist Melina Abdullah. She tried to collect $10 million from BLMGNF in a "frivolous lawsuit" for her breakaway BLM Grassroots. Abdullah — who is running as independent candidate Cornel West’s running mate in the US presidential election — lost the lawsuit last year and was ordered to pay more than $700,000 in BLMGNF legal fees and costs. An attorney for BLMGNF cited a June ruling by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge who dismissed BLM Grassroots’ claims to any of BLMGNF’s donations. "This lawsuit against the Tides Foundation is not just about financial discrepancies but the principle of rightful ownership and transparency that should govern partnerships in social justice funding," attorney Byron McLain said Wednesday. In a statement to The Post, BLMGNF said it "never expected to become victims of... unscrupulous business practices" in social justice philanthropy. "There is an expectation for Black Lives Matter to challenge systems, break barriers and uphold the truth, no matter how uncomfortable," the statement said. "Today, that extends into non-profit operations as we call out Tides Foundation and other so-called ’fiscal sponsors’ who exploit their role." BLMGNF has had its own issues with finances, after raking in $90 million in donations for 2020 alone. Patrisse Cullors, the group’s co-founder, then went on a multimillion-dollar home-buying spree, purchasing two homes in Los Angeles and a property in the Atlanta suburbs with an airplane hangar and runway, as first revealed by The Post. Cullors denied that she used donations to buy the properties. She resigned from BLMGNF a month later, in May 2021. Cullors also signed off on a $6 million Los Angeles mansion, to be used as an office for BLMGNF, and an $8 million property in Toronto for the group’s Canadian chapter.
