Asra Nomani: How Socialist Muslims pulled off a 20-year takeover of the Democratic Party

Long, information dense, lots of names to remember and correlate. Here’s a taste:

Many people are wondering how Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old socialist Muslim who wants to defund the police, globalize the intifada, and destroy capitalism, has emerged as the Democratic Party's nominee for New York City mayor, with leaders like former President Bill Clinton fawning over him.

To understand Mamdani’s political ascent, you have to trace the red-green-blue spider’s web that brought him here. This isn’t a complete map — I've written a book, "Woke Army: The Red-Green Alliance That Is Undermining America’s Freedom," to document that story — but it is a snapshot of key turning points over two decades of strategy, narrative manipulation, and activist training.

A critical moment traces back to a Friday night in 2008, according to investigative reporting I’ve done at the Pearl Project, a nonprofit journalism initiative. It reveals how socialists (red) and Muslims (green) seized the Democratic Party (blue) over a long 20-year campaign. At 9:28 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2008, former ACLU civil rights lawyer Ann Beeson sent an email to former Clinton administration senior advisor John Podesta.

Beeson was executive director of U.S. Programs at George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, where she said she oversaw $150 million in annual grants to "promote human rights, social justice and accountability nationwide."

In her email, publicly discussed here for the first time, Beeson wrote, "I’m writing to follow up on one topic we discussed — what the incoming Administration could do to address domestic national security policies and practices that unfairly target Muslim, South Asian, and Arab communities in America."

She attached a memo from Farhana Khera, then executive director of Muslim Advocates, a group based in San Francisco, and Aziz Huq, then the director of the "liberty and national security project" at the William J. Brennan Center for Justice, both Open Society "grantees."

As a former Wall Street Journal reporter who has investigated the convergence of radical leftist politics and Muslim political activism for decades, I have followed a paper trail of tax returns, grant lists and confidential memos, and this email represented the culmination of a decades-long ideological drive that began with Muslim international students arriving in the U.S. in the 1960s, not just to study, as my father did at Rutgers University, but to lay the institutional groundwork for political Islam, or Islamism, in the United States. By the 1980s, they had established a strategic base at 500 Grove Street in Herndon, Va., later investigated by the FBI for alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, both groups seeking to destroy Israel and America and build a global caliphate.

The transformation accelerated after December 2005, when Muslim governments convened at an "Extraordinary Islamic Summit" of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. There, they launched a campaign to weaponize the term "Islamophobia" to silence critics of extremist Islam. American Muslim leaders seized the moment to re-engineer the national security narrative, using American philanthropic networks, like the House of Soros, as a Trojan horse to racialize Islam, frame Muslims as the "oppressed" and embed illiberal ideologies within America’s liberal institutions, including the Democratic Party.

By January 2008, with Soros pumping money into Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, his philanthropy staff launched a "National Security and Human Rights Campaign" with D.C.-based Atlantic Philanthropies, committing at least $20 million to "dismantle" Bush-era counterterrorism policies. One grantee, the Proteus Fund, based in Waltham, Mass., ballooned in revenue from $9.5 million in 2008 to $73 million in 2023. Soros dollars flowed to groups including Muslim Advocates, the Brennan Center, the ACLU and many others who set their sights on targets, including the New York Police Department. Today, Mamdani says he wants to "defund the police."

A Pearl Project analysis of 38 documents detailing the operations and funding of the National Security and Human Rights Campaign revealed the coordinated efforts of progressive and Islamist activists to reframe post-9/11 narratives. The aim: clear the path for red-green candidates like Mamdani.

Muslim Advocates grew nearly 10-fold, from $76,331.03 in annual revenues in 2005 to $992,892 in 2023. The Brennan Center’s revenue exploded from $6.6 million to $57.9 million during the same period.

Soros soon funded a new "Security and Rights Collaborative" at Proteus Fund to "restore civil liberties and human rights lost in the name of the ‘war on terror.’" Headquartered in a one‑story building off Research Drive in Amherst, Mass., the new "collaborative" was run by Shireen Zaman, a Muslim activist previously at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, a Washington, D.C., group tied to the Muslim Brotherhood. Their focus: America’s "Muslim, Arab and South Asian community," called "MASA." Zaman now works at the Ford Foundation.

Their strategy went beyond policy to narrative warfare.

Starting in late 2008, Soros pumped some $20 million into a "fieldwide communications hub" to arm Muslim groups and leftist media allies with messaging tools. The recipient: ReThink Media, a nonprofit in Berkeley, Calif., co-founded by "progressive" political operatives Peter Ferenbach and Lynn Fahselt, then a consultant to Democratic donors, including Open Society, Proteus Fund, Ploughshares Fund, Carnegie Corporation, Piper Fund, Atlantic Philanthropies, and others "progressive" donors that have since pumped money into ReThink Media.

ReThink Media became the loudspeaker for the red and the green. Last year, Proteus Fund paid ReThink Media $643,000 as a "communications consultant." Soros also backed Media Matters, run by ex-conservative-turned-Democrat David Brock, to shape media narratives about Muslims attacked by Republicans.

Over the years, ReThink Media has hired and trained alumni of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, including staffers Zainab Chaudary and Corey Saylor, to promote an "echo chamber" for liberal groups. One narrative: Muslims were under attack in the West, and the Democratic Party would defend Muslims.

This storyline took hold in the post-Obama political landscape.

In late 2010, Open Society staffers in Beeson’s U.S. Programs division distributed an internal memo, "Extreme Polarization and Breakdown in Civic Discourse," announcing they were giving Podesta’s Center for American Progress $200,000 for a new "Examining Anti-Muslim Bigotry Project" that would "document structures underlying the Islamophobia movement."

The memo detailed plans to do "opposition research" on groups like the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and the Middle East Forum, which track Islamic extremism.

The project description noted that "progressives were caught off guard" earlier that year when New York City residents opposed the building of a "Ground Zero mosque" near the site of the former World Trade Center.

"Progressives" were in "urgent need of high-quality opposition research so that they can switch from playing defense to develop a proactive strategic plan to counter anti-Muslim xenophobia and to promote tolerance," protecting "progressive counter-terrorism policies," they wrote.

Tim Walz Stuns Critics by Calling China the World's 'Moral Authority' Amid Rising Tensions Over Iran

[Townhall] Former Democratic vice presidential nominee and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz shocked many by suggesting that China could serve as the world’s "moral authority" in the wake of Israel’s targeted strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities and military leadership. His comments come at a time when the U.S. and its allies are confronting clear threats from Iran’s nuclear ambitions, making Walz’s praise of an authoritarian regime both baffling and concerning.

At a Center for American Progress event titled "What’s Next: Conversations on the Path Forward," Walz addressed a question from CEO Neera Tanden regarding the escalating tensions caused by the recent strikes. Walz remarked that, from Iran’s perspective, retaliation is inevitable, adding that the conflict in the Middle East has reignited and is spreading more widely than before. He questioned who has the moral authority and ability to negotiate peace in the Middle East, suggesting that the U.S. is not viewed as a neutral party and may never have been.

Soros-Linked Groups Sue to Stop Trump's Migrant Child Trafficking Crackdown

[Breitbart] Two left-wing non-governmental organizations (NGOs), both with financial ties to Alex and George Soros’s network, are suing to stop President Donald Trump’s reforms of the Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) program, which are intended to end trafficking of such migrant children within the United States.

In February, Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued reforms to the UAC program, which resettles migrant children in American communities with adult sponsors after they arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border without parents or guardians.

Part of those reforms is banning UACs from being turned over to illegal aliens in the United States.

HHS whistleblower Tara Lee Rodas has called the UAC program a “white glove delivery service” where migrant children go from Department of Homeland Security (DHS) custody to HHS custody before being turned over to adult sponsors that are not their parents or relatives, in most cases.

“…we have delivered these unaccompanied children to criminals, traffickers, and members of transnational criminal organizations who are using the UAC program as a white glove delivery service of children,” Rodas said, calling out former President Joe Biden’s administration for loosening the rules around the UAC program.

This week, the National Center for Youth Law and Democracy Forward — both with financial ties to the Soros network — filed a class action lawsuit to stop Trump’s HHS from verifying the legal status of an adult sponsor before a UAC is handed over to their care.

The groups are asking a district court to find the reforms unlawful and issue a preliminary injunction stopping the administration from implementing the reforms.

Democracy Forward, which is behind a separate lawsuit trying to stop Trump from deporting illegal alien gang members, lists left-wing organizations like the Center for American Progress, National Immigration Law Center, Color of Change, UnidosUS, Common Justice, and the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, among many others, as clients and partners.

The Alex Soros-chaired Open Society Foundations has funded several of Democracy Forward’s clients and partners. For example, in 2023, the Open Society Foundations awarded Color of Change a $3 million grant after giving the group nearly $1.5 million in funding in 2018 and 2019.

Similarly, and perhaps most significantly, the Open Society Foundations remains one of the largest donors to the Center for American Progress — a group that is considered the unofficial policy wing of the Democrat Party.

In 2023 alone, the Open Society Foundations gave the Center for American Progress nearly $4 million in grant funding.

Likewise, the Open Society Foundations has thrown millions to the National Immigration Law Center as well as hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding to UnidosUS, Common Justice, and the Catholic Legal Immigration Network.

The other group involved in the lawsuit, the National Center for Youth Law, received $75,000 in funding from the Open Society Foundations in 2017.

The case is Immigrant Defenders Law Center v. HHS, No. 1:25-cv-01405 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

AstroTurf Protest Industry
To your question, at latest count, as of 3/30, 5:30 AM:
🔴24 organizations and counting are funding and organizing the #TeslaTakedown protests and leading the very partisan propaganda campaign against Tesla, Tesla drivers, Tesla employees, Donald Trump and you. See below to see all 24 groups with their revenues, involvement, tax ID numbers and other info.
🔴These organizations have combined annual revenues of at least $124 MILLION and counting.
🔴 100% of the groups are aligned with the Democratic Party. At the protest on 3/29 at Tyco Road, in Tysons, Va., a photo I took of a "Virginia Democrats" sign in front of the Tesla dealership.

Is This the Aide Who Abused Joe Biden's Autopen?-Neera Tanden-Soros Acolyte

[PJMedia] The latest scandal for the former Biden administration has exploded into the spotlight thanks to Trump’s declaration Sunday night that Biden's pardons are "VOID, VACANT, AND NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT" because they were signed via autopen, and Biden may not have authorized them.

The lingering question, of course, is who may have been using the autopen on Biden’s behalf without his knowledge or consent. An explosive New York Post report revealed a disturbing pattern of potential power abuse within the Biden White House, centered around the controversial use of the presidential autopen.

One Biden White House source told The Post they suspect that a key aide to the then-president may have made unilateral determinations on what to auto-sign. The Post is not publishing that staffer's name due to the lack of concrete evidence and refutations by other colleagues.

The Biden aide, who did not respond to requests for comment, would frequently make mention of what "the boss" wanted, the source said, but compatriots would have "no idea" if it was true because the internal culture was to not ask questions.

While the New York Post didn’t name the staffer, speculation is swirling around Neera Tanden.

A longtime left-wing operative, Tanden was Biden’s controversial pick to lead the Office of Management and Budget — until her nomination collapsed over a slew of hyper-partisan attacks on Republican lawmakers. She later found a role as White House Staff Secretary. Now, she finds herself at the center of this constitutional crisis.

The timeline is damning. On Dec. 30, 2022, while Biden was allegedly golfing in St. Croix, six pardons magically appeared with his signature.

"What Trump and his acolytes are running on is an authoritarian playbook," Patrick Gaspard, the chief executive of the CAP Action Fund, the political arm of the far-left think-tank, told the Times. "So now we have to democracy-proof our actual institutions and the values that we share."

Some things the groups are working on include a conference at New York University next month on "Autocracy in America — A Warning and Response," making plans on fighting deportation and creating a model for volunteers nationwide to record and intervene in immigration raids, drafting potential lawsuits, and recruiting sympathetic plaintiffs.

Democrat governors have formed a group called the Reproductive Freedom Alliance to organize resistance to any potential federal actions to limit ~~child sacrifice~~ abortions.

For the past 16 years, the country has had fewer and fewer children every year, and the birthrate has just hit 1.62 children per woman — a record low. America’s working-age population has flatlined and will soon start falling while the number of retirees continues to grow. This increasing "old-age-dependency ratio," the White House agrees, will be bad for the economy, as we have more consumers and fewer people making things or performing services.

The White House, however, reassures us that "growth in labor force participation and labor productivity can be countervailing forces that mitigate the impact of an aging population."

This is true. But the White House bizarrely focuses its discussion of labor force participation on mothers of young children rather than on the real cause of falling labor force participation, which is middle-aged people, as Washington Examiner opinion writer Tiana Lowe Doescher explained.

"Accessing dependent care is an example of one particularly severe constraint to labor force participation," the White House says before going on for paragraphs about the need for universal day care.

But focusing on mothers is missing the story, as the Federal Reserve Bank of the Socialist paradise of San Francisco

The liberal Vox recently explained that there is no crisis of mothers dropping out of the workforce: "Larger shares of moms of both preschool and school-age children working now than at any time in history. Most of the labor market gains have been driven by moms with young kids under the age of 5, with roughly 70 percent of them holding down some formal job."

The White House tries to make it sound like there’s some massive shortage of childcare, but as Vox reports: "Jobs in the child care sector ... have continued to expand, with more people working in the sector as of April than in any time on record."

The partisan CAP’s "child care deserts" include all sorts of places with thriving families with lots of marriage and lots of children and a healthy supply of (gasp) stay-at-home mothers, extended family, and strong communities. Check out the suburbs of Salt Lake City for a good example.

The basic fact is this: Mothers in America don’t want day care as much as the Biden White House wishes they did. The CEA is upset that labor-force participation rates "among mothers of young children have historically lagged that of mothers of older children and women as a whole."

That is, the economists in Biden’s White House think the problem is that some mothers want to stay at home.
The cause of falling birthrates isn't lack of childcare. It's birth control and economics. Throw in the Dems' favorite subject, abortion, to further aggravate matters. Sex has become recreational, not for reproduction. And people can't afford large families anymore.

Biden's new climate envoy had a close relationship with CCP/Chinese United Front influence group

[JustTheNews] The Biden Administration continues to emphasize climate cooperation with China, even as the relationship grows more confrontational. The new climate envoy has a history of favorable negotiations with China and close relationships with a Chinese influence group with longstanding connections to the Chinese Communist Party.

The White House recently appointed John Podesta as Climate Envoy following the exit of John Kerry from the administration. Yet, Podesta’s previous work with a Chinese United Front-linked organization on climate change raises concerns about his ability to negotiate with China, the world’s biggest emitter of greenhouse gases.

Podesta has long been a household name in Democratic politics. He is known for his close association with the Clinton family and for being active in climate policy. Podesta first served as President Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff and then later as the campaign chairman for Hillary Clinton’s unsuccessful bid for president in 2016.

In between his work for the Clintons, he served in the Obama Administration as a counselor to the president responsible for climate policy and before that as a co-chair of President Obama’s 2008 transition team.

Before entering the Obama Administration, Podesta founded and led the liberal think-tank Center for American Progress (CAP), which seeks to advance progressive policies on issues spanning from climate change to the economy.

It was during this period that Podesta worked closely with an entity connected to the Chinese influence apparatus on climate change and other issues.

In late 2009, Podesta led the first delegation from CAP to Beijing. During the trip, the CAP delegation—which included a U.S. Senator and an Ambassador—met with several Chinese officials. Discussions between the two delegations centered on “issues at the forefront U.S.-China relations,” which included climate change.

The Chinese delegation was led by the founder of the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), an entity which played an integral part in organizing the dialogue, according to CAP’s report of the trip. CUSEF and CAP held several meetings from 2009 to 2016, both before and after Podesta began serving at the White House.

The China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) is a Hong Kong-based entity founded by business magnate Tung Chee-hwa, a billionaire who is linked to the Chinese Communist Party. After Hong Kong reverted to British control, Tung was appointed as the Chief Executive of the Special Administrative Region under the communist Chinese government.

Tung also served as the Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference—“a patriotic united front organization of the Chinese people” that is integrated with the Chinese Communist Party government—from 2005 to 2023.

CUSEF is a registered foreign agent in the United States and would later hire none other than John Podesta’s brother, Tony Podesta, to lobby on behalf of the organization in Washington. In 2015, Podesta filed a lobbying disclosure form with the U.S. House of Representatives to advocate on behalf of CUSEF on “U.S.-China Relations.” According to Open Secrets, CUSEF paid Podesta’s firm nearly $900,000 for three years of lobbying work, from 2015 to 2017.

According to Influence Watch, since 2010, CUSEF has organized an annual dialogue between members of the Democratic Party, Republican Party, and leaders of the CCP. In a 2022 Congressional hearing, Central Intelligence Agency Director William Burns expressed concern about CUSEF’s covert influence activities in the U.S.

In 2013, John Podesta joined the White House as counselor to the president on climate policy. He, along with a CAP Senior Fellow Tod Stern, was one of the chief officials responsible for the negotiation of the Paris Accords—the climate pact which required signatories to reduce emissions in line with global warming prevention goals.

China’s lead climate negotiator, Xie Zhenhua, has participated in CAP-CUSEF summits in the past, attending in 2016, according to CUSEF’s website. Coincidentally, Xie Zhenhua, who stepped down as the Chinese climate envoy in December, is noted as having a close relationship with John Podesta’s predecessor, John Kerry. The personal diplomacy between the two men was instrumental in achieving the Paris Accords.

Swiss billionaire-backed environmental groups spent big targeting millions of Biden voters

[FoxNews] Environmental groups heavily financed by a Swiss foreign national spent big on data mining operations targeting millions of President Biden's voters, efforts that could be replicated ahead of the 2024 presidential elections.

The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Victory Fund, LCV's independent political action committee, and Climate Power shelled out $15 million last year for a "sophisticated targeting project unlike anything they'd ever undertaken before" to propel Democrats, Politico reported earlier this month. The LCV and Climate Power are two prominent far-left environmental groups that push aggressive green transition policies and have received large funding from Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss' nonprofits.

As part of the operation, LCV Victory Fund and Climate Power hired BlueLabs Analytics, a Washington, D.C.-based data science organization, to mine data of more than two million Biden voters in crucial swing states with advertisements and mailers ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

The operation, and other similar funding schemes for political activity during last year's midterms potentially tied to Wyss, raises legal questions given the billionaire's nationality. Under federal election law, foreign nationals — Wyss is listed as recently as 2021 in financial filings as a "citizen of Switzerland" — are prohibited from contributing directly or indirectly to U.S. political campaigns.

"Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss spent nearly $73 million to influence American politics and policy, routing most of that money through the Arabella Advisors network," Caitlin Sutherland, the executive director for watchdog group Americans for Public Trust (APT), told Fox News Digital. "Without offering any evidence, Mr. Wyss’ groups insist that his foreign money does not end up in partisan electoral activities."

"But now we have proof that the climate groups he funds funneled money to specifically target Biden voters in key states," she continued. "This dangerous pattern of giving by the left’s largest foreign mega-donor warrants immediate congressional oversight."

For more than two decades, Wyss has been highly involved financially in various left-wing causes. Wyss founded the Wyss Foundation in the late 1990s as his main tax-exempt funding arm, and the Berger Action Fund in 2007. The billionaire has pushed hundreds of millions of dollars to his two nonprofits which have then spread his money to a vast array of groups, many of which like the LCV are actively involved in political issues.

According to tax filings obtained by APT and shared with Fox News Digital, a single anonymous donor, likely Wyss himself, wired a staggering $278.9 million to the Berger Action Fund between April 2021 and March 2022. The group in turn contributed $72.7 million to 12 separate dark-money organizations.

LCV was among the 12 groups and received $3.5 million from Wyss' nonprofit. Other groups, including the Center for Popular Democracy, Moms Rising Together, National Redistricting Action Fund, and WorkMoney, received millions of dollars in additional contributions from the Berger Action Fund. The groups are involved in political campaigns.

"President Biden has the power of the Executive Order at his command and he should use it to deliver for our communities – Black and brown people, immigrants, working class and low income people, disabled and LGBTQ people," Center for Popular Democracy Co-Executive Director DaMareo Cooper said last year.

"We won’t stop pushing Congress, but we can’t wait," he added. "Biden must commit … to using executive action to get off fossil fuels, protect immigrants, cancel student debt, lower prescription drug costs and pursue justice reform."

The Berger Action Fund also funneled $20.3 million to a group called Fund for a Better Future (FBF), according to the tax documents provided by APT. While FBF isn't required to disclose its donors in its tax forms, Wyss' contribution amount was the largest anonymous donation FBF reported that year, meaning the Swiss national was FBF's biggest donor.

FBF sent nearly $10.7 million to LCV in 2021, the most significant contribution FBF gave to any group that year. And FBF oversees Climate Power, providing the group with financial, legal, technological, and human resources support.

Climate Power was originally founded as a project of the LCV, Center for American Progress (CAP), and the Sierra Club in 2020. Wyss has donated to CAP and remains a board member of the influential left-wing think tank.

Climate Power, meanwhile, boasts advisory board members that are also members of the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council. For example, both South Carolina state Rep. Harold Mitchell and Jerome Foster II, the executive director of the youth-led political advocacy group OneMillionOfUs.

FBF also contributed more than $2.9 million to Building Back Together, an advocacy group that works to primarily promote the Biden administration's policy agenda.

"Thanks to President Biden’s bold economic agenda, communities across the country are seeing billions of dollars in manufacturing investments and millions of new, good-paying jobs," Building Back Together spokesperson Olivia Eggers said Monday. "The president’s policies are investing in people and places that have historically been left out and left behind."

Additionally, Wyss' Berger Action Fund contributed about $42.5 million to the Sixteen Thirty Fund, a key cog in a billion-dollar dark money network.

The dark money network consists of five nonprofits that include the Sixteen Thirty Fund, New Venture Fund, Windward Fund, Hopewell Fund, and North Fund. The funds each act as a fiscal sponsor to other liberal nonprofits by providing their tax status to the nonprofits housed beneath them.

The arrangement allows the fiscally-sponsored progressive groups to evade filing tax forms to the IRS, effectively obscuring their financial information.

The five funds — each managed by the Washington, D.C.-based Arabella Advisors consulting firm — also do not disclose donor information on their tax forms, keeping the public in the dark to the full extent of who is using the network as a conduit to bankroll left-wing initiatives across the country.

The funds combined for nearly $1 billion in total spending in 2021, their tax documents show.

Democrat County Commissioner Indicted On Voter Fraud Charges In Alabama

[Federalist] The son of a notable Alabama civil rights ~~activist ~~muppet~~~~ was indicted on charges related to voter fraud on Wednesday, undercutting claims by leftist organizations and corporate media that legitimate concerns about the issue are unfounded.

According to Advance Local, an Alabama news outlet, Perry County Commission Chairman Albert Turner Jr. has been charged by Fourth Judicial Circuit District Attorney Michael Jackson and Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill "with voting more than once, which is a misdemeanor, and harvesting ballots, a felony." The alleged incidents occurred during two separate elections in May and November of last year.

As noted in the report, Jackson revealed how several witnesses claimed they saw Turner "stuffing filled out ballots in favor of the candidates he was supporting" into a voting machine during the county’s May 2022 Democrat primary election. Regarding the November contest, Jackson said Turner has been, as Advance Local described, "accused of mailing an undisclosed number of absentee ballots."

"Since January 19, 2015, we have worked extraordinarily hard to make it easy to vote and hard to cheat in Alabama," Merrill said. "While the accused is innocent until proven guilty, it is important to know that this incident ... will receive the full attention of this office as we confirm for the people for the State of Alabama that we are the gold standard for election administration in the United States."

Merrill and Jackson did not indicate which particular races Turner has been accused of meddling in nor whether those alleged actions could have affected any election’s outcome.

While Turner’s alleged crimes present a striking example of problems with the integrity of U.S. elections, the story will almost assuredly be ignored by Democrat-friendly nonprofits and corporate media. For years, such entities have worked overtime to dismiss concerns related to fraud and ballot harvesting.

In 2018, for instance, The Washington Post ran a lengthy article lamenting Republican-backed voter ID laws as a form of voter suppression and castigating voter fraud as "extremely rare in recent elections."

"The real problem with American elections is not voter fraud but abysmally low turnout that ranks the United States near the bottom of peer democracies," the diatribe reads. "The many forms of voter suppression now in place could have an effect on the outcome of the [2018] midterm elections, with many House, Senate and gubernatorial races decided by a handful of votes."

While there’s been ample evidence of fraud, irregularities, and other rigging in recent elections, there’s also been historic numbers of people voting, putting to bed false narratives that so-called rampant voter suppression is killing democracy.

Evil Soros & Russia Funded the Same US Anti-Fracking Enviro Groups

[INDEPENDENTSENTINEL] Liberty Daily posted a Climate Depot article about a congressional report in 2018 detailing "Russian attempts to influence" and fund environmental groups to oppose fracking in Europe and the U.S.

The reason is obvious since Russia relies on oil and gas exports for its very survival. There is more to this story. George Soros gives to the same groups surreptitiously.

We reported this in 2018 after The Daily Signal summarized the involvement of Russia and George Soros, who now has operatives employed in the White House.

Russia funneled money to a corporation that funds radical environmental groups that are vehemently opposed to fossil fuels and fracking in the United States. The corporation is active in New York, northern and western Pennsylvania, western Ohio, most of West Virginia, and small portions of Kentucky and Tennessee as well as other states. The Daily Signal has researched their advocacy and financing in energy policies in New York.

The Daily Signal wrote:

Two environmental advocacy groups that successfully lobbied against fracking in New York each received more than $10 million in grants from a foundation in California that got financial support from a Bermuda company congressional investigators linked to the Russians, public documents show, according to The Daily Signal.

The environmental groups Natural Resources Defense Council and the Sierra Club Foundation received millions of dollars in grants from the San Francisco-based Sea Change Foundation.

When New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, renewed his state’s ban on fracking three years ago, the Natural Resources Defense Council issued a statement supporting the ban. So did the Sierra Club, the primary recipient of grants from its sister organization, the Sierra Club Foundation.

Environmental activists associated with the groups receiving Sea Change Foundation grants continued to pressure Cuomo and other public officials to maintain and expand New York’s fracking ban.

First Exposed July 2017, Ties to Soros
This is an issue that was exposed in July 2017. It appears that the Russian-backed groups are groups George Soros also funds.

Republican Reps. Lamar Smith and Randy Weber sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin on June 29, 2017, requesting he investigate allegations that Russia has financially backed anti-fracking campaigns in the U.S. to "safeguard the influence of the Russian oil and gas sector."

"According to reports, entities connected to the Russian government are using a shell company registered in Bermuda, Klein LTD. (Klein), to funnel tens of millions of dollars to a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) private foundation, the Sea Change Foundation," the letter stated.

The Sea Change Foundation is accused of funneling the money from Klein to the environmental groups. However, they deny any ties to Russia.

The Foundation received $23 million from Klein and their only other donor was the founder. There is no evidence of grants or other sources of funds.

The exposure didn’t change a thing. Sea Change gave millions of dollars each year to "climate change mitigation and clean energy policy." They went to climate projects to promote clean energy and reduce reliance on carbon energy. Sea Change is also anti-fracking.

The League of Conservation Voters, Center for American Progress, and Union of Concerned Scientists have all advocated for stronger regulations on fracking as well.

Deafening Silence: Top Democrats Hush as Left-Wing Kellogg's Company Set to Replace American Union Workers

[Breitbart] House and Senate Democrats who have claimed to be champions for labor unions are silent as the Kellogg Company, whose largest shareholder is the left-wing W.K. Kellogg Foundation, is set to replace about 1,400 American union workers who have been on strike since October.

American union workers employed at Kellogg’s have been striking as of October 5, protesting what they say are grueling working conditions at plants in Battle Creek, Michigan; Omaha, Nebraska; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; and Memphis, Tennessee.
Grueling conditions at a cereal plant?
The workers and their union, the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers, and Grain Millers’ International Union (BCTGM), allege that Kellogg’s executives have threatened to move manufacturing to Mexico in an effort to bust up their striking.

In October, a BCTGM union representative said Kellogg’s "continues to threaten to send additional jobs to Mexico if workers do not accept outrageous proposals that take away protections that workers have had for decades."
