Jussie Smollett posts bizarre Instagram screed touting innocence and cushy settlement in lawsuit with Chicago
2025-05-27 | |
[NYPOST] Hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett![]() ...Cable TV actor whose primary talents seemed to be being black and homosexual. In a bid for national attention, he paid a pair of Nigerian brothers to rough him up a little so he could claim that two large, white, MAGA hat-wearing men had shouted This is MAGA country!while thumping him at 2:30am on a bitter cold night in Chicago and throwing bleach on him, presumably to lighten him up. The story quickly unraveled, and he became a laughingstock and the poster boy for pretend victimization and attention whoredom... went on a bizarre Instagram rant in which he repeated his widely-debunked claim that he was the victim of a bias attack in the wake of his cushy settlement in his civil suit with the city of reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... ''Over six years ago, after it was reported I had been jumped, City Officials in Chicago set out to convince the public that I willfully set an assault against myself. This false narrative has left a stain on my character that will not soon disappear,'' Smollett wrote on Instagram Saturday.
Smollett was convicted in 2021 for staging a phony hate crime against himself in Chicago in 2019, and was later sued by the Second City for $130,000 for the cost of the investigation into the bogus claims. The ''Mighty Ducks'' actor and the Windy City have now settled their suit — with Smollett agreeing to donate $60,000 to two Chicago-based charitable organizations in lieu of paying the city. Confused, Starving Reporters Now Desperate for Food After Killing American Journalism
2025-05-26 | |
[JOHNKASSNEWS] After it destroyed its own credibility by twisting the truth to protect Joe Biden and hide his senility, can American corporate legacy news media hope for rebirth? No. It’s dead. Journalism killed itself covering up Joe Biden’s senility so Democrats could maintain power. Humpty Dumpty can’t be put back together again. The media is a feast for crows. CNN’s Fake Jake Tapper and the rest of them can shriek and pull out their hair, protesting wildly that they are true journalists interested in "speaking truth to power." That too, is a lie. They are not journalists, they are political propagandists. They’re paid whores. This latest episode of mainstream media corruption brings to mind an apocryphal story often wrongly attributed to Churchill or George Bernard Shaw, "Madam, we’ve already established what you are. All we’re doing now is discussing the price."
The boss whore of this despicable gang is Tapper, who is now cashing in, selling his book, telling the tale he loudly condemned others for approaching . And all of his posse who profit after keeping their mouths shut for so long, after putting the nation through hell, deserve contempt. Tapper’s newfound "humility" is but another means to whitewash this shameful scandal. In this they are much like the prostitute going through pockets after the client has been bludgeoned. But Jake the Fake is not alone. They told us he was "sharp as a tack" but was he? No. Just who was running the country? And why should we trust anything the Democrats and their media coms shop tell us going forward? Democrats worked in concert to cover up Biden’s senility. And so did the mainstream media played along because their hatred and fear of Donald Trump compelled them. We saw it all as it happened, so there’s no spinning their way out of it. But they’re trying desperately, beseeching America to eat their waste. And all we really need are the treasonous actors who used the presidential autopen without the people’s permission. "We are in the midst of this staggering presidential scandal from the Biden administration. Whether you’re talking about the mental decline or the physical decline, there was a conspiracy to keep the American people from knowing who was actually operating as president," said Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway during a Fox News interview. "It really makes all other presidential scandals throughout history seem to somewhat pale in comparison." It would take volumes to list all the White House scandals, from US Grant, Warren Harding, Woodrow Wilson and his manipulative wife Edith; Bill and Hillary Clinton and the 30,000 vanished emails; Barack Obama of the Fast and Furious scandal and the thousands of guns Obama had passed through to Mexican narco-gangs, the murders of the Americans at Bengazi and the political partisan abuses of the IRS. There is a media myth about Obama’s administration perpetuated by the New York Times, that Obama’s administration was scandal free. No, it was not. And of course, Richard Nixon of Watergate infamy. But this one about Biden is much worse than the Watergate break-in. In that one the White House covered up the lawbreaking and the media uncovered it. The establishment media, led by the Washington Post hounded Nixon from office. But in this one Biden and the legacy media covered up his senility, installed him, and publicly ridiculed any of us who dared point out they were protecting a presidential meat puppet at the expense of the American people. Americans need news that they can trust to make important decisions about their vote and who would govern them. But they can’t trust this sort of garbage. And the American people are being told to take it and eat it. We’re told to eat the garbage they throw at us through the video screens and over the internet, to smile and applaud the corporate legacy media for "protecting" our republic from authoritarianism. But as we say in Chicago whenever they put their lips together and blow: It’s all bullshit. I take all this personally. I spent 40 years working in the mainstream media as a reporter, political writer, columnist, and editorial board member of the Chicago Tribune. I loved working there, loved the readers and the paper and the work we accomplished, the detailed reporting we pursued. I just loved it. We were on a mission, in a politically corrupt city, as the tribunes for the people. The Trib was once the voice of midwestern conservatism. It was about as mainstream as you could get. No longer. Once the leftist Jacobins took over newsroom, the knives came out and I had to go. But it wasn’t the ideology that attracted me, it was that we could do real reporting and journalism there. The problem with the Jacobins is they pursued a course that moved away from seeking the truth, they were doctrinaire and lost any pretense of curiosity. They helped turn corporate journalism into what it is today. Years ago, an associate of the Chicago Outfit and I were having lunch and talking about the mob. Specifically, about the economic lessons to be learned from the Chicago Outfit. "Citizens see a couple, three cows on the side of a hill and think about putting them together and make more cows, make a herd. And sell the beef. What’s wrong with that? "Nothing but that’s not the Chicago Way," he said. "The Chicago Way is they pull out shotguns, shoot all the cows and make a barbecue. And then they ride off looking for more cows to kill." I found the photo of the hyenas to illustrate that point, because hyenas aren’t interested in thinking about the future. And neither was the media, so intent it was on protecting Democrats from the people. And so, the news media devoured its own credibility with Biden, and now wonders where they might find the next feast. Biden was not fit for office even before his inauguration. As the great Miranda Devine wrote long ago, Joe Biden has been president-in-name-only since he was inaugurated Jake the Fake and MSNBC and the New York Times and the rest of the pack of hyenas must now admit there is no feast without customers. Who would pay for what passes for corporate legacy journalism now? Only fools. Only chumbolones. A few are still paying for garbage to eat as Fake Jake squeeze the chumbolones, as the New York Times looks down its nose at the American middle class. But many others turn away from garbage journalism and reach out to independent journalism every day. You’re always welcome here at https://johnkassnews.com/ Where did it start? ![]() You might argue that American journalism fell apart with the rise of Al Gore’s internet that killed news advertising. Then the newspapers relied on subscriptions, and if subscribers were rabid Jacobins, they demanded offending heads be lopped. But I’d argue, yeah, sure, OK but don’t forget the hopium smokers in the Washington press corps when Barry Obama became president. I remember writing about the depressing Washington Press Corps addiction to hopium as they offered Obama as their Marxist demi-god. All the newsrooms were besotted. "Obama hopium was so powerful, that that first rush of it, well, it sent a tingle up my leg. Or down my leg. Then up. So now, when I read newspaper stories about Obama’s political history, like a recent gooey, puffy profile in the Washington Post and it didn’t mention Obama as a willing member of Chicago’s Daley machine, well, I didn’t get angry. "Not anymore. "Why? Because I’m a hope-head. "Now, I don’t get upset when foreign and national journalists fail to mention Tony Rezko, or the Daley boys, or how the Chicago machine plans to staff the Department of Justice, and the new Department of Homeland Casinos. "Who cares? I’m numb with hopium." But that was then. I’m much better now. I asked for a Congressional investigation days ago. And for the identity of who controlled the autopen. There seems to be no other way if we’re to keep the republic. The names must be known. According to The Hill, the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will be investigating Biden’s use of an "autopen" to sign documents such as the pardons issued just before he left office. The Hill reported that "Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) said in a statement he plans to subpoena former Biden aides Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal and Ashley Williams, who he claims "ran interference" for Biden and may have overseen the use of the autopen. "Meanwhile, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) is demanding the upper chamber hold hearings on Biden’s health and competence, and rightly so. He wants to interview people who were close to the former president. As he told Axios, "We have to. I mean, who was running the government?" Years ago, in his first news conference since taking office, taxpayer-funded PBS White House reporter Yamiche Alcindor asked President Joe Biden whether migrants are crossing the southern border because he’s so "moral" and "decent." She embarrassed herself without a smidgen of humility. "You’ve said over and over again that immigrants shouldn’t come to this country right now, this isn’t the time to come. That message is not being received," Alcindor said as the nation faces a crisis of illegal immigration not seen in decades. "Instead, the perception of you, that got you elected as a moral, decent man, is the reason why a lot of immigrants are coming to this country and trusting you with unaccompanied minors." Biden, a moral man? A decent man? Yamiche, go sit on Jake’s lap and maybe he’ll tell you bedtime stories of the girl who saved journalism. Better yet Yamiche, just cancel yourself. Last week on the Chicago Way podcast, co-host Jeff Carlin and I interviewed our friend Tom Bevan, co-founder and president of Real Clear Politics. We talked about Biden, the media, Deep State operative James Comey and more. You might want to listen here. I asked him about whether the media can survive this. No, he said. "The media’s broken," Bevan said. "There is no putting it back together. It is Humpty Dumpty for sure." And all the king’s horses, and all the king’s men... ![]() Don’t forget that Monday is Memorial Day, for all those who died for this country. It is not a day to commemorate steaks and hotdogs and beer and chips. It is not the day to raise our glasses to our gluttony. Monday is the day we say a prayer and remember all those who gave their lives for the American republic. A republic, said Dr. Franklin, if you can keep it. Can we keep it? That’s up to you. But they died trying to keep it. In all the cemeteries of American war dead across the world, among the white markers and crosses across the landscape, row after row here, in France, everywhere, it is held in a language unspoken by the political class, but perhaps you can feel it all the same: A republic, if you can keep it. Lest we forget. ![]() Related: Jake Tapper 05/25/2025 VDH talks about Jake Tapper's book 'Original Sin' (short video) Jake Tapper 05/24/2025 Friday morning Kunstler-superb encapsulation of the last 20 years of Presidential politics Jake Tapper 05/18/2025 Newly Released Biden-Hur Audio Captures President''s Stumbles, Mishaps from Special Counsel Interview

Biden's Presidency Is a Scandal of Historic Proportions
2025-05-21 | |
The “presidency” of Joe Biden is one of the greatest scandals in American history. The legacy media is only now covering the mental incapacity of a president who apparently left the entire ship of state to the unaccountable bureaucracy. On Friday, Axios released Friday night news dump audio of Biden’s 2023 interview with special counsel Robert Hur. If you heard the tape and haven’t been in a coma for the past four years, then nothing here is truly surprising. The former president sounded senile and evasive when answering questions about his handling of top secret documents. Some of my colleagues went through the full tapes and found that Biden “forgot the names of President Barack Obama’s former secretary of defense and comedian Jay Leno; referred to Africa as a country, not a continent; and was unaware he had in his possession a notebook with war advice in it for Obama during his interview with special counsel Robert Hur and investigators in October 2023.” Biden certainly did not sound like someone who could be trusted to make large-scale national decisions or even small-scale personal ones. This is entirely unsurprising unless you are a left-leaning corporate media journalist on the political beat. If you are, then I’m sure that the reports coming out about Biden in office are jaw-dropping, gob-smacking revelations to you. The media elite are shocked, shocked to discover that Biden may have been unfit for office. The release of these tapes was followed by a Sunday afternoon reveal that Biden has been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. The cancer diagnosis is certainly a terrible thing. But the idea that this should end the story about what happened the last four years is a farce. It couldn’t be clearer now that due to mental and physical ailments, Biden was a diminished man from the moment he assumed the president’s office. Despite some of the aforementioned elite journalists calling for a lid to be put on conversations about Biden’s presidency due to his health, the reality is the cancer diagnosis only raises more unsettling questions. Is this really a new diagnosis? Did Biden’s doctors really somehow miss the signs of treatable cancer? And that makes this situation entirely unprecedented.

Trump says he’s not frustrated with Netanyahu: ‘He’s an angry man, and he should be’ |

It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. Asked by Fox News if he was frustrated by the prime minister, Trump responded: "No, look, he’s got a tough situation. You have to remember, there was October 7 that everyone forgets. It was one of the most Trump claimed, as he often has, that the massacre in southern Israel by Hamas-led bully boyz on October 7, 2023, would have never happened under his watch, arguing that Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. That attack, which sparked the ongoing war, killed some 1,200 people in southern Israel and resulted in the capture of 251 hostages who were taken to Gaza. Of them, 57 are still held captive, 34 of whom are confirmed dead by Israel. "Bibi, he’s an angry man, and he should be because of October 7, and he’s been hurt badly by that, but in another way, he’s been sort of helped because I think he’s fought hard and bravely," Trump added, using Netanyahu’s nickname. Trump has repeatedly denied reports of a rift between him and Netanyahu, insisting that his choice to not visit Israel during his trip to the region was not a snub, despite making several policy decisions without Israeli input or against Israel’s wishes, such as the ongoing Iran nuclear talks, the decision to restore ties with and lift sanctions from Syria, and the US ceasefire with the Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. On Wednesday, Trump said his visits to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates was "good for Israel," adding that "having a relationship like I have with these countries... I think it’s very good for Israel." Netanyahu also denied the reported rift, calling his relationship with Trump "excellent." Despite the denials, Channel 13 reported last week that people in Netanyahu’s inner circle have expressed unusually harsh criticism toward the Trump administration in recent weeks. "There’s chaos in the Trump administration — the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing," said a senior figure close to the premier, according to the report. "It’s not even clear if this has anything to do with us. Everything operates according to the president’s whims. Sometimes that works in our favor, and sometimes it doesn’t," the source said. Citing unnamed US officials, NBC reported last week that Netanyahu was growing increasingly frustrated with the US approach to Iran amid the nuclear talks, seemingly the largest point of contention between the two leaders. Speaking to NBC, one US official said Israel was "worried about any deal" that the US could sign with Iran to thwart its nuclear ambitions. To that end, two US officials said Netanyahu has privately dismissed the negotiations as a waste of time, arguing that even if a deal is forged, Tehran would inevitably break it. Israel would rather take action and strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, the report said, and believes that the opportunity to do so is shrinking further the longer talks continue. Jerusalem is reportedly unhappy that the ongoing US-Iran talks are said to be developing into a largely similar framework to the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA, which was signed by then-US president Barack Obama They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them... and was panned at the time by Netanyahu as disastrous for Israel. Trump withdrew from that deal in 2018. Under the terms now being discussed, according to reports, Iran would limit stockpile size and centrifuge types, and dilute, export or seal its 60 percent uranium stock under unprecedented ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) scrutiny, in exchange for substantial sanctions relief. This approach has not aligned with Netanyahu’s longtime position, which is that Israel will not allow Iran to attain nuclear weapons and is opposed to any talks that don’t lead Iran to agree to a "Libya-style agreement," under which Tehran’s entire nuclear program — both military and civilian — would be dismantled completely. |

Democrats Drag America Into the Mouth of Their Madness |
2025-05-15 |
[JOHNKASSNEWS] Watching the Democrats storm the Immigration and Customs enforcement facility in New Jersey, applauding themselves and singing their creaky old ’60s protest songs like a collection of cos-playing Pete Seegers dressing up as clergy, and threatening the government to protect illegal migrant criminals and gang members, I couldn’t help but think of France. Why France? We’re on our way, aren’t we? Only a moron couldn’t see it. And only a servant of the Democrats—or CNN anchor Jake the Fake Tapper—would watch this and say nothing. Just imagine their current revolutionary princess—Alexandria Ocascio-Cortez— leading the Democrat Party back in the late 1789 at the storming of the Bastille. You can see her there, can’t you? Of course you can. You see it there just as you can see her here. Can’t you? And the French Revolution was born. The lopping off of heads began. They hated Christianity. The Roman Catholic church was in their way, an impediment to their ambition. They were their own gods. They had their slogan, "Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité." The Jacobins of our own time—we call them Democrats—have their slogans and their leaders, full of pride, full of anger, full of rage. And violence. Violence in their rhetoric, violence in their speeches, violence in their imagery. In the France of 1793, not the United States of 2025, they not only believed in the death penalty, they embraced political murder as a nation of zealots. Approximately 16,594 people were officially executed by guillotine, the severed heads raised aloft to the lusty cheers of the mob. According to the World History Encyclopedia, an estimated 10,000 to 12,000 individuals were executed without trial, and some 10,000 died in prison. In France. And in the United States of 2025, the Democratic Jacobins in America, led by their revolutionary princess Alexandria Ocasio Cortes threatens anyone who dares stop them by supporting the law. That’s the key to understanding this political drama now. It’s all about public outrage and performance art, but if and when they grab power in the mid-term elections next year, the heads will roll. As the Federalist’s Todd Bensman reminds us, "Where Was Democrats’ Outrage When Obama and Biden Deported Illegal Alien Housekeepers and Gardeners?" Bensman writes, "...Americans need to be reminded that no such war for their hearts and minds happened when Democrats Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Bill Clinton collectively deported millions of illegal aliens who also merely worked hard, paid taxes, and stayed out of U.S. prisons and off gang and terrorism intelligence databases. "When Democrats carry out deportations, there is nary a peep of protest from this very same peanut gallery. When the Biden administration secretly air-deported hundreds of thousands of Central American and Haitian mothers with babies in their arms just a couple of years ago, there were no stories planted to spin up a rage machine. Those operations drew no tear-jerking stories in the corporate press — or really, any coverage at all. "And when Biden was vice president, he and Barack Obama practically got a blank media hall pass when they air-deported tens of thousands of unaccompanied illegal alien children back to Central American tarmacs to shut down a surge of those in 2015. Most Americans still don’t even know they did that, not to mention the millions of other non-criminal family members and oft-vaunted "breadwinners" they deported during all eight of their years in office. "And Bill Clinton? His party base lauded him in the mid-1990s when he spearheaded tough deportation-centric legislation known as the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996. "The coming war on Trump’s mere remake of Democratic Party deportation programs lays bare the profound double-standard hypocrisy of the activists waging it along with their partisan media allies who so willfully believe that a unique new MAGA inhumanity is afoot. "It isn’t. This is an old story with new, politically motivated framing." And the political left is always making threats to rally their followers to the barricades before the head lopping can really begin.
So, if you can cut through the whiny sentimental weeping and AOC’s drama-queen bit, and the old Pete Seegar protest songs outside that ICE facility in New Jersey, what do you find? A ravenous appetite for power. Pure power. Who are the Democrats fighting for? The child rapists? The murderers? The gangbangers? The sex-traffickers? The beasts who murdered and raped the young nurse in Georgia, Laken Riley and the mother of five in Maryland, Rachel Morin. And beasts like these also sexually assaulted and murdered Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old American girl in Texas. Former President Joe Biden opened the American borders and let in between 12 million to 20 million of these illegal criminal migrants. The corporate legacy media lied for Biden and they gaslit other concerned Americans. They harassed anyone who cried out and called them fascists. Biden and the Democrats let in the worst of the worst. And now AOC and the others threaten us with more violence. This is who they are. They’re showing all of us. All who are of the left are doing anything they can to stop the lawful deportation of the criminals. That is who the Democrat Party have become. It’s more than idiotic political theater. It is dangerous and stomach turning. All you have to do is look up the French revolution. The ICE facility in Newark isn’t the Bastille, but they’d like it to be. It works for them. According to the left wing news site Politico: "Newark Mayor Ras Baraka’s Friday arrest fired up liberal Democrats in and outside of New Jersey, turning his hours in federal custody into a political moment for progressives and the region’s immigration activists while boosting the mayor’s national profile as he runs for governor. "Free Ras Baraka! Free Ras Baraka!" protesters chanted for hours outside the federal facility where Baraka was held Friday. He’d been arrested earlier that day at another protest outside an immigration detention center on a trespassing charge. By the time he was released that night, a wave of support had formed following his arrest, which came after armed federal officers got involved in a scrum with three members of Congress who were seeking to tour a new Trump administration Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility in Newark, Delaney Hall." It’s obvious that the Democrats think they’re above the law. Baraka is using this to launch his New Jersey campaign for governor. What is the cost? "Democrats across the country have major trouble following that "no one is above the law" precept they keep invoking — as witness multiple recent scuffles as the left goes to bat for illegal immigrants," argues The New York post in an editorial. "First up, at New Jersey’s Delaney Hall Detention Center — which houses border-jumpers accused of crimes ranging from rape to murder — Reps. Robert Menendez Jr. and LaMonica McIver got into an altercation with ICE agents as McIver tried to force her way into the facility. "Also protesting was Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, who ended up in cuffs and custody for his part in the fracas." Menendez, son of the corrupt Senator, went on TV this weekend, insanely, to blame the immigration enforcement officers he and his colleagues went after. In the view of the Democrat Jacobin Party, every criminal and thug who crossed our border illegally deserves to stay here forever and hoover up infinite tax dollars. "And Democrats get to do whatever they want, whenever they want, with zero consequences ever or else it’s fascism," says the Post. Stupidity is not only reserved for Democrats. The corrupt and craven Republican establishment led for years by China supporter Sen. Mitch McConnel is on its last legs. Consider his ally, the Republican fool from North Carolina, Sen. Tom Tillis. "Tom Tillis is part of an establishment GOP that now has waning power, has waning influence in Washington. And this is sort of the last gasp of the Mitch McConnell wing of the GOP that’s slowly disappearing," Federalist Senior Editor John Daniel Davidson said on Newsmax. "It’s, frankly, to me, disgusting to hear someone like Tillis say that he opposes Ed Martin because he defended defendants on January 6th, when one of our own Founding Fathers, John Adams, defended British soldiers who killed American patriots. Offering legal defense for the accused is not disqualifying. If anything, it shows Ed Martin’s commitment to the rule of law, as does the pardons that freed up resources in the DOJ to go after actual violent criminals in Washington, DC." Yes, the Democrats are power mad, and determined to destroy our nation because they hate it. And Republicans like Tillis and McConnel? I’ve seen the spineless half of the bi-partisan combine destroy a great state of Illinois. For Illinois and Chicago there is no reprieve, no sanctuary. The Combine chopped Chicago and Illinois to bits, and sold off the scrap. Just as they will destroy America herself. Think of 1793 and now think of 2025. There is only one responsible thing to do: See them clearly for who they are and what they want. And vote like the life of your nation depends upon it. Because it does. Let’s hope the American people wake up and wash their eyes before the 2026 mid-term elections, so they might save the country. If they don’t save it, at least polish the face-cages for the rats. And polish up Madame Guillotine. Because I think she’ll be busy, |

When Joe Biden's Brain Melted on ‘The View,' Something Unexpected Happened: A Democratic Star Was Born |
2025-05-11 |
[PJMedia] If you haven’t seen the video, it’s absolutely worth watching, because in a (slightly) different timeline — i.e. Biden’s presidential debate with Trump was scheduled closer to November (or canceled altogether) — and the Democrats were capable of keeping those 2020 COVID-era voting restrictions — there’s at least a 45% chance Joe Biden would’ve won a second term. Seriously. Had he not been unmasked on national TV as an invalid, it’s revisionist history to assume that Biden was a no-hoper. Even after humiliating himself in his one and only debate (“We finally beat Medicare!”), he had a 58% approval rating after dropping out of the race, and trailed Trump by just one point (47% to 46%). Donald Trump wasn’t the only one who dodged a bullet in 2024: our whole country did. Because there’s just no way Joe Biden could’ve handled the rigors of the presidency for another term. He couldn’t even handle the yapping yentas on “The View”: It was sad. At the 22:58 mark, Biden lacked the cognitive abilities to answer a question about his lack of cognitive abilities. So he rambled. And by the end of his rambling, disjointed response, it’s pretty clear he had forgotten what the original question was, so his wife jumped in and answered for him. The contrast between the steady clarity of “Doctor” Jill Biden’s voice — and the ex-president’s raspy, meandering performance — was considerable. For all of Joe Biden’s shortcomings and limitations, there was a time when he was an above-average public speaker. He was never on-par with someone such as Ronald Reagan or Barack Obama, but he built his brand by looking, sounding, and playing the part of a liberal’s idea of a working-class hero. That time is over. At this point, trotting him out on the public stage is borderline elder abuse. The Dems' base isn’t just angry; they’re frickin’ apoplectic. We’re talking Worldbreaker Hulk levels of rage. The Democrat who taps into this anger and becomes its “emotional avatar” will capture the heart of the party. And that’s what was so intriguing about Joe Biden’s mental meltdown on “The View”: potentially, a brand-new star was born! Unquestionably, liberal voters greatly preferred the Biden years to either Trump I or Trump II. Liberal longing will grow as Trump’s second term continues; absence, after all, makes the heart grow fonder. But it’s already at a fever-pitch: they’d sell their grandma to the Cossacks to return to the Biden days! Question: If Biden is perceived as being a brain-dead, semi-animated automaton, who, then, deserved credit for all those wonderful successes? Who was actually running the show? Answer: “Doctor” Jill Biden. She’s still in her early 70s — which makes her a neophyte amongst her party’s geriatric giants, i.e. Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Steny Hoyer, and Bernie Sanders. By the way, she’s also a woman. That matters in the Democratic Party, because “personal identity” carries an outsized impact. She’s also a teacher; a profession liberals love and respect. Her “caretaker role” makes her sympathetic — even to traditional voters. We all know spouses who care for their elderly, infirm partners. It’s heartbreaking. None of us know what goes on between the Bidens behind closed doors, but after nearly 50 years of marriage, most Americans would assume she’s a loyal, loving, compassionate spouse. In the minds of liberals, those qualities would contrast quite splendidly against the mercurial madness of MAGA. The biggest weakness of “Doctor” Jill Biden is her lack of experience, because she’s never held an elected office on her own. No matter: If she’s credited for being the “power behind the throne” during the Biden years, then clearly, she already has all the presidential experience she needs. Potentially, she could offer a powerful message to liberals: if you long for the sanity and successes of the Biden administration, then “Doctor” Jill Biden is the perfect candidate. Advertisement To liberal ears, it’s a compelling pitch: all the stuff we liked about Biden, but none of that pesky senility. Joe Biden has aged out; Hunter Biden simply isn’t electable. If the Biden family needs a new acolyte — someone who keeps those donor dollars rolling in — Jill Biden is its best choice. Don’t dismiss the personal profit motive. This is the Biden family we’re talking about! If “Doctor” Jill Biden writes a memoir next year and goes on a book tour to Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, pay close attention. It could be the beginning of a far larger story. And it all began this week on “The View.” |

Ed Martin Assumes Powerful DOJ Role: 'Greatest Job I Could Ever Envision' to Target Weaponization |
2025-05-11 |
[Breitbart] Ed Martin has a message for the forces who blocked his nomination for U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia: Be careful what you wish for. A group of establishment senators, led by Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), blocked President Donald Trump’s nomination of Ed Martin for U.S. Attorney (USA) for the District of Columbia – an incredibly powerful post with a crucial role in Trump’s America First Agenda. But don’t cry for Martin. Trump has appointed him to a powerful new role within the Department of Justice, which he detailed on Breitbart News Saturday with host Matt Boyle. “It’s classic Donald Trump, right? That somebody tries to block him and block his pick, and he decides to double down,” Martin told Boyle. “This is probably the greatest job I could ever envision.” Trump announced Martin’s new role in a Truth Social post Thursday: Ed Martin has done an AMAZING job as interim U.S. Attorney, and will be moving to the Department of Justice as the new Director of the Weaponization Working Group, Associate Deputy Attorney General, and Pardon Attorney. In these highly important roles, Ed will make sure we finally investigate the Weaponization of our Government under the Biden Regime, and provide much needed Justice for its victims. Congratulations Ed! Martin is not wasting time. “Attorney General Bondi gave us marching orders when she got in, and we have a working group that’s already been meeting,” Martin told Boyle, saying the group “is already overwhelmed with the amount of work to do. There’s no limit to what the Biden administration was doing.” Investigating the weaponization of government and serving as pardon attorney to aid those harmed by the weaponization fit together perfectly, Martin believes. “We saw the government used against the citizens. One of the things we have to do is get the citizens back to where they should be, and that’s going to include some people that need pardons, right?” he told Boyle, singling out those targeted on January 6, pro-life advocates, and law enforcement officers as some of those targeted by weaponization. Trump installed Martin as interim USA for DC to jump-start the work of the crucial office. USA offices usually take time to build momentum in new administrations, Martin explained. “From the beginning, classic President Trump, he has a vision, right?” Martin explained. “In Washington, DC, you couldn’t do what we usually do. What you usually do is you nominate a US attorney, and it takes three or four or five or six months, and the first three or four or five or six months, you’ve got an acting – someone who’s not invested … President Trump put me in on day one and said, ‘Go and fight today and fight like hell, so that we can make this thing work,’ and then, if I get confirmed, fine, if you don’t get confirmed, well, we’ll keep working on other stuff.” Despite Tillis torpedoing Trump’s pick, Martin is proud of the “monstrous success” in reorienting the office in a short time, rare for an interim USA. “After all the politicization of the office, we turn to fighting crime – 25% drop in crime in 100 days, that’s what we did,” Martin said. He has confidence his replacement as interim USA for D.C. will continue his work. “Be careful what you hope for guys, because Judge Jeanine Pirro is my replacement, and I don’t know if you’ve ever met her – she’s smart as hell, she’s tough as hell, and she’s not at the point in her career where she needs anybody’s approval,” Martin said, touting her desire and ability to continue the office’s new direction with the same fervency. Boyle pointed out that much of the “weaponization and the rot, the politicization at the Department of Justice really goes back even further than the Biden administration” – particularly to Barack Obama’s administration, and asserted that Martin has his work cut out for him in his new role. Crossfire Hurricane documents are finally being revealed, Martin said. And he is turning his attention to Russiagate as well, insisting Americans should know “why and how in our national intelligence classification system, [we] allow 51 intelligence officers to sign a lie.” But that’s the tip of the iceberg, with Martin praising Bondi for her work so far with the Herculean tasks of investigating the countless issues of weaponization. “We’ve seen athletes being targeted. Pro-life being targeted. Jack Smith being out of control. January 6, being destructive on citizens,” he ticked off. “We have a list that we were charged with from Attorney General Bondi that we’re working through now. The list is going to expand, because the president knows, like I do, that weaponization didn’t stop with any single list.” Martin will pursue the evidence wherever it takes him in his pursuit of truth. “We’ve got to get to the weaponization everywhere it is,” he said, promising to pursue “the truth, complete exposure – not spin, not Liz Cheney, select committee of propaganda. Total truth.” He’s locked in on holding accountable those taking part in the government’s role in the COVID conspiracy too. “I’ve been working already in my office with Bobby Kennedy on COVID,” Martin told Boyle. “There were so many lies told to us on COVID. And again, we’re going to get the truth out, and we’re going to find out who did what, when. And look, Fauci was pardoned, but not everybody around Fauci was pardoned. So we’re going to see who did what, and we’re going to, again, tell the truth, get it out there, hold them accountable, and then help people that were damaged to heal and get pardoned if they need to.” Related: Ed Martin 05/08/2025 Trump's closest ally's chilling warning to the president about 'neocons' Ed Martin 03/21/2025 Husband of former congresswoman Cori Bush charged with wire fraud Ed Martin 02/27/2025 Data Republican Just Got Doxxed, Found Lots of Support incl. from DOJ |

Trump to require truck drivers to speak English, pass literacy tests as 'communication problems' mount |
2025-04-29 |
[FoxNews] 'That's a very commonsense policy,' Leavitt said of the upcoming executive order President Donald Trump will sign an executive order requiring truck drivers to pass English literacy tests, which will bolster road safety, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. Trump will sign an "order directing the Department of Transportation to include English literacy tests for our truckers. This is a big problem in the trucking community," Leavitt said on Monday afternoon during a press conference with new members of the media. The press conference was separate from a White House press briefing earlier Monday morning. Trump is expected to sign the executive order late Monday afternoon, Leavitt said. "You might not know, but there's a lot of communication problems between truckers on the road with federal officials and local officials, as well, which obviously is a public safety risk," Leavitt continued. "So we're going to ensure that our truckers, who are the backbone of our economy, are all able to speak English. That's a very commonsense policy." The order directs Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy "to rescind guidance that watered down the law requiring English proficiency for commercial drivers," and to "carry out additional administrative, regulatory, or enforcement actions to improve the working conditions of America’s truck drivers," according to details provided to Fox News Digital by a White House official. "President Trump believes that English is a non-negotiable safety requirement for professional drivers, as they should be able to read and understand traffic signs; communicate with traffic safety officers, border patrol, agricultural checkpoints, and cargo weight-limit station personnel; and provide and receive feedback and directions in English," the White House official shared. Truckers who are unable to prove they are proficient in English will be "placed out-of-service, enhancing roadway safety," according to the White House. Fox News' Will Cain reported earlier in April on "The Will Cain Show" that trucking experts reported that there has been an influx of foreign-born truckers in recent years. Cain, citing experts, reported that former President Barack Obama's administration in 2016 stopped an English requirement for drivers from being enforced, while the Biden-Harris administration in 2024 promoted an initiative that increased truck driving training opportunities for refugees, which has increased the number of foreign-born truck drivers operating in the U.S. Trump's anticipated executive order comes after he lauded truckers during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, under his first administration, for their work delivering goods to stores as the nation locked down. "American truckers are the foot soldiers who are really carrying us to victory," Trump said in April 2020 from the White House. "They’ve done an incredible job. We’ve had no problems. It’s been just – it’s been just great." "Thank God for truckers," he added. |

Regarding Trump’s many “due process” controversies |
2025-04-28 |
Continued I believe people are mixing the legal standards up or are unaware of them. I also believe the legacy media is demonstrating double standards in pretending these presidential powers aren’t (for the most part) lawful. Take, for instance, the IIRIRA. In 1996, congress specifically authorized the executive branch to conduct non-judicial deportations NOT SUBJECT TO DUE PROCESS. [a] While one might argue against this on ethical grounds, one cannot argue that the president lacks the authority. The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA) was passed by Bill Clinton [a], enforced by George W. Bush, and expanded by Barack Obama, with support from both political parties. PER CONGRESSIONAL RECORDS: “The expedited removal process, created by the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996, is codified in INA § 235(b)(1). The statute permits the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to summarily remove aliens arriving at a designated U.S. port of entry (arriving aliens) WITHOUT FURTHER HEARING OR REVIEW if they are inadmissible either because they (1) lack valid entry documents, or (2) tried to procure their admission into the United States through fraud or misrepresentation. INA § 235(b)(1) also authorizes—but does not require—DHS to extend application of expedited removal to "certain other aliens" inadmissible on the same grounds if they (1) were not admitted or paroled into the United States by immigration authorities and (2) cannot establish at least two years' continuous physical presence in the United States at the time of apprehension.” [a] To be clear, this wasn’t always the case. As the ACLU wrote back in the Obama administration: “The deportation system has dramatically changed over the past 19 years – moving from a judicial system prior to 1996, where the vast majority of people facing deportation had immigration court hearings, to a system today of nonjudicial removals, where 75 percent of people removed do not see a judge before being expelled from the U.S. The numbers are staggering: in 1995, 1,400 immigrants were subject to nonjudicial removals, representing 3 percent of total deportations. By FY 2012 that number had sharply increased to 313,000 nonjudicial removals.” [b] So to reiterate, all the way back in 2014, the ACLU specifically cited that 75% of Obama’s deportees had NO DUE PROCESS. [b] I’m outlining these complaints from the ACLU not necessarily to agree with them nor to disagree with them, but to demonstrate that this presidential power was well established prior to Trump. Unless you were deeply involved in following the ACLU’s advocacy, you likely weren’t aware anyone took issue with it. This - yet again - exposes the legacy media’s double standards. They were silent regarding Obama’s use of non-judicial removals, going so far as to let him classify his administration as “scandal free”[c], yet when Trump’s in office, non-judicial removals become a scandal. Per the American Immigration Council: “Individuals placed in expedited removal generally have no right to challenge their deportation in federal court, thanks to jurisdiction-stripping provisions in the 1996 law which created the process. …Individuals may only bring a lawsuit challenging their expedited removal order if they are a lawful permanent resident, or someone already determined to be a refugee or granted asylum, who has been wrongfully subject to expedited removal. In 2020, the Supreme Court upheld this law, finding that it did not violate the right to habeas corpus or due process. Expedited removal has become a bedrock of the United States’ processing of noncitizens, particularly at our southern border.” [d] The law also made deportation eligibility retroactive and introduced penalties for overstaying visas, including bars on reentry for certain periods. It also made it more difficult for undocumented immigrants to adjust their status, even if they had family members who were US citizens. [e] I’m again pointing this out not to argue for or against it, but merely to demonstrate that these expanded authorities existed prior to Trump. This is not a power grab. His office was granted this authority by democratically elected legislators. Up until now, I’ve been discussing the 1996 law which allowed expedited removal under Section 235 of the INA. That pivoted away from the usual removal proceedings which were governed under Section 240 of the INA. It’s Section 240 (the usual process) where suspected illegal aliens are afforded a hearing (due process) in front of an immigration judge. [f] If someone doesn’t qualify for expedited removal, only THEN are they entitled to that formal hearing. That was the case until Trump named some groups “terrorist organizations” while invoking the Alien Enemies Act, however. When Trump entered office the 2nd time, he designated several globally powerful gangs as terrorist organizations. These massive organized crime networks had been competing with governments around the world for control, often by forcing businesses to pay them “taxes”. They were guilty of human trafficking, drug trafficking, murder, rape, extortion, and racketeering. This is worth pointing out since the Anti-Terrorist and Effective Death Penalty Act,” also passed in 1996, criminalized the act of providing material support or resources to terrorist organizations [g] and has been argued by the New York Law Review to have encroached on due process. Again, as is the theme of this editorial, I’m not noting this to agree or disagree, only to demonstrate that the power existed before Trump. It was a 1996 law, and formally designating someone as a terrorist means they legally have different entitlements. As for the Alien Enemies Act? Here, too, exists an authority granted to the presidency by congress in 1798. “It allows the president to detain or deport the natives and citizens of an enemy nation. The law permits the president to target these immigrants WITHOUT A HEARING and based only on their country of birth or citizenship. Although the law was enacted to prevent foreign espionage and sabotage in wartime, it can be — and has been — wielded against immigrants.” [h] CONCLUSION: Whether violating the concept of due process concerns you or not, these ARE legal pathways toward deportation. Each case is different, where some were deported under the expedited removal standard, others deported under Section 240, and others deported under the Alien Enemies Act, but these legal pathways were all created by Congress. I won’t deny that the efficacy and morality of all laws are worth debating, but that’s different from legality. Also, why wasn’t there a national debate on these laws while Biden, Obama, Bush, or Clinton were president? Why now? That they are becoming scandalous NOW despite being barely noticed in prior administrations is a testament to the legacy media’s political bias. It's argued that a rogue President is engaging in an unlawful power grab, but that’s simply false. These laws existed prior to Trump. These laws were enforced prior to Trump. These powers were democratically granted to the executive branch by Congress. If you don’t like them, fine, petition Congress to change the law, but don’t falsely claim the President is acting unlawfully. |

Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: April 24, 2025 |
2025-04-25 |
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited. Worth noting, korrespondent.net has compiled its Invasion of Ukraine series into separate months, beginning May 9th, 2023. Linked in the title. [Korrespondent] 22:35 During the 11 years of war with Russia, Ukraine has lost many territories and it will be very difficult to get them back. In particular, this concerns Crimea. This was stated by US President Donald Trump. ![]() "It has nothing to do with me, Crimea. It was 11 years ago for the Obamas. And they made a decision. There was no shot fired. There was no fighting. There was nothing. They just handed it over. Now they say, 'Can you get it back?' I think it will be very difficult to do. I think it was very difficult to do. It was done by Barack Obama when he was president, and Donald Trump," he said. 22.16 According to preliminary information available to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russia's attack on Kiev on April 24, which killed at least 12 people, was carried out by a ballistic missile produced by the DPRK. "Our special services are checking all the details. If the information about the production of this missile in North Korea is confirmed, this will be further evidence of the criminality of the alliance between Russia and Pyongyang. They kill people and mock life together - this is the only meaning of their cooperation. Russia constantly uses such weapons - missiles, artillery. At the same time, Pyongyang has received the opportunity in real war conditions to make its weapons more deadly," the head of state said. 21.12 The US has a specific deadline for achieving peace between Ukraine and Russia. This was stated by US President Donald Trump. The American leader expressed his conviction that Kyiv and Moscow "both want peace, but they must sit down at the negotiating table." "We've been waiting a very long time. They have to sit down at the negotiating table. And I think we'll get peace... We have a deadline. And after that, our attitude (towards a peaceful settlement - ed.) will be very different, but I think we have a very good chance of doing it (achieving peace - ed.)," Trump emphasized. 20:55 Ukraine views the United States as a strong strategic partner and would like to have a common understanding that Russia is an aggressor, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with American journalist Ben Shapiro. "We know that the United States has a position of a mediator in this conflict. And this is the choice that the United States made. But we consider the United States as a strong strategic partner that has influence. And we would very much like these two forces to be used against Russia, so that the force would be directed at the Russian Federation, because it is the aggressor. And we would very much like to have a common understanding that Russia is the aggressor, and not us," the head of state said. 20.30 According to the results of the forensic examination, the cause of death of journalist Victoria Roshchina, who died in Russian captivity, could not be established due to the condition of the body. At the same time, numerous signs of torture were found on Victoria's body. This was reported by the head of the War Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, Yuri Belousov. "The victim's body showed numerous signs of torture and cruel treatment, in particular abrasions and hemorrhages on various parts of the body, and a broken rib. And the experts also saw possible signs of the use of electric current. This information will also be clarified during an additional forensic examination," he said. 20.23 An underground school-shelter designed for 700 people was opened in the village of Molodezhnoye in the Odessa region. It was built from scratch on the basis of the Molodezhnoye Lyceum. This was reported by Ukrinform The dual-use radiation shelter was built under a programme initiated and financed by the European Union. Co-financing was provided by the Irish Government. The total cost of the project is €2.4 million, of which €75,000 was allocated for the interior fittings. 19:50 The United States will demand that Russia recognize Ukraine's right to its own armed forces and defense industry as part of a broader peace agreement between Moscow and Kiev, Bloomberg reports, citing sources. It is noted that US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff will raise issues of the Ukrainian army and defense industry at a meeting with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin. The publication notes that agreeing to a properly equipped and staffed army, as demanded by Ukraine and its European allies, would mean that Putin would have to abandon one of his declared goals of a full-scale invasion – the demilitarization of Ukraine. 18.55 US President Donald Trump's words "about Ukraine's loss of Crimea" are fully consistent with Russia's position on this issue. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this in a comment to Russian media. 18:47 UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine and Humanitarian Coordinator Matthias Schmale strongly condemned the Russian shelling of Kiev. "The nighttime massive shelling of residential areas of Kyiv and surrounding settlements by the armed forces of the Russian Federation is another violation of international humanitarian law, which causes outrage... Civilians should never be targets. This unjustified use of force must be stopped," he stressed. 17:50 Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv reported that the Russian attack killed a brother and sister, children of a neurologist at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv’s University Clinic, Yaroslav Kozlov, Nikita and Sofia. They were 21 and 19 years old, respectively. Nikita, born in 2003, was a student at the National Transport University. Sofia, born in 2005, graduated from the professional college of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design. 17:45 Rescuers have freed two more bodies from under the rubble in the Svyatoshinsky district of Kiev. The death toll now stands at 12. 17.15 In Kiev, rescuers have freed the body of another person from under the rubble. The death toll from the Russian strike on the capital has risen to 10 people, with 90 injured. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing. 16.56 In the Kurgan region of the Russian Federation, the regional court sentenced a former law enforcement officer, a local resident, for allegedly passing information about Russian servicemen to Ukrainian military intelligence. This was reported by the FSB, as reported by Russian media. It is noted that the defendant was sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment in a maximum security penal colony, followed by a restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year. He was also fined 200 thousand rubles. The sentence has entered into legal force. 16.49 The number of people killed in Kiev as a result of Russian shelling has increased. Nine victims are already known. Rescuers have pulled the body of a 27-year-old girl from under the rubble of a house in the Svyatoshinsky district. It is also known that among the dead are two children born in 2003 and 2005 from the same family. The number of victims has risen to 90. Of these, 44 people are in hospitals. Search and recovery operations continue after the Russian strike on the residential building. There may still be people under the rubble. 15.47 US President Donald Trump is "not happy" with the large-scale Russian missile and drone strike on Kiev on Thursday night. He published a corresponding harsh statement on his social network Truth Social. 15.19 President Volodymyr Zelensky called Russia's night attack on Kiev one of the most difficult and linked it to Russia's desire to put pressure on the United States. He said this at a joint press conference with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa following talks in Pretoria. 15.14 Eight residents of Poltava sought medical help after the Russian attack on the night of April 24. Three of them are in hospitals. This was reported by the acting mayor of Poltava, Ekaterina Yamshchikova, on Telegram. According to her, as of now, damage has been recorded to 128 objects, including 33 apartment buildings and 85 private houses. In total, 468 households with 580 residents were damaged, 810 windows were damaged. 14.57 President Volodymyr Zelenskyy handed over to South African leader Cyril Ramaphosa a list of 400 Ukrainian children abducted by Russia, calling on South Africa to facilitate their return. He announced this during a joint press conference on Thursday, April 24. 14.38 Special Operations Forces servicemen destroyed a platoon of North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The number of Koreans exceeded three times. The video of the battle was published by the Special Operations Forces Command. The SOF operators engaged a 25-man enemy platoon - three times their number - in close combat and maintained the initiative until the battle was over. 14.19 EU High Representative Kaja Kallas stressed that it is Russia, which dealt a deadly blow to Kiev, that is an obstacle to peace. She reported this on Platform X. 13.49 The Cabinet of Ministers has agreed to simplify the procedure for the production and purchase of explosives and their components for the production of ammunition for manufacturers that do not have government contracts. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Strategic Industries. 13.42 A Russian radar station was destroyed on the outskirts of the village of Razdolnoye in temporarily occupied Crimea on Monday, April 21. This was reported by the monitoring Telegram channel "Krymsky Veter". 12:44 Sixteen thousand people, including 1,600 children, were buried in the Kiev metro during the massive combined shelling of the capital by Russian invaders. The Lukyanovskaya station, namely the glass dome and the facade, was damaged by the attack of the invaders. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Metro Municipal Enterprise. 12.27 Russia seems to be ready for a "peace agreement", but it is more difficult to reach an agreement with Ukraine. This was stated by US President Donald Trump the day before during a conversation with journalists in the Oval Office. 12.24 Due to the latest Russian strikes on civilians in Ukraine, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe is convening a special permanent council, declaring the need to hold Russia accountable in order to achieve a just peace, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen said. 12.13 The Security Service detained a Russian citizen and his accomplice who were spying on the positions of the Defense Forces in the Sumy region, preparing a route for the breakthrough of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups from the Bryansk region. This was reported by the SBU press service. In order to plan the route of the enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups to "bypass" the positions of the Defense Forces, the Russian had to discover the locations of Ukrainian troops on the border of the Shostka district. 12:05 Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets reported that on the eve of Easter, the Ukrainian and Russian sides began delivering letters from families and parcels from the International Committee of the Red Cross to prisoners of war. 11:42 Ukraine has managed to return the body of journalist Victoria Roshchina, who was killed in Russian captivity. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Leonid Timchenko. 11:16 Since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has killed 13,000 Ukrainian civilians, including 618 children, and carried out 1,700 attacks on schools, more than 780 attacks on hospitals, more than 30 massive and hundreds of smaller attacks on energy. For this, the aggressor country must pay a double price , Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote on Telegram. 10.57 President Volodymyr Zelensky has decided to shorten his visit to the Republic of South Africa (RSA) and immediately return to Ukraine due to Russia's massive missile and drone attack. This was reported by the head of the Kiev City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko on Telegram. 9.22 In the Khmelnytsky region, as a result of a Russian missile attack, two people were injured and a gas distribution point was damaged. This was reported on April 24 by the head of the Khmelnytsky regional state administration, Serhiy Tyurin. 8.43 The Donald Trump administration has presented Kiev with a plan for an agreement with favorable conditions for Moscow. However, the idea of America recognizing Russia's sovereignty over Crimea and Ukraine's refusal to join NATO is unacceptable to the EU, the Financial Times reports. 8.27 The rescue operation in the Svyatoshinsky district of Kiev continues: phone calls are heard from under the rubble of the house destroyed by the Russians, two children are being searched for. This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko on his Telegram channel. 7.56 The Russian army has lost 1,060 soldiers at the front over the past 24 hours. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 7.25 The occupiers have brought 11 ships, including missile carriers, into the Black Sea. This was reported by the Ukrainian Naval Forces (Ukrainian Navy) on Facebook. 05.15 US President Donald Trump has announced his readiness to meet with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and has announced the approximate dates for the talks. Construction Photos of Obama's 'Mosque' Receive Harsh Reviews: ‘Looks Like a Prison' |
2025-04-22 |
[GatewayPundit] The shrine to Barack Obama If you like your coverage you can keep it... , aka the Obama library at the Obama Presidential Center (OPC), is still under construction in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... Photos of the building made the rounds on social media recently, and the building is receiving harsh criticism, with some suggesting the barren, characterless building looks more like a prison than a library. Built with DEI concrete. Good luck. Biz Pac Review notes that the building, designed by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, features an exterior wrapped in granite panels and is one of "numerous buildings on the massive 19-acre Obama Presidential Center campus, which has been priced at about $830 million by the News Agency that Dare Not be Named."
