Federalist Update: Jihadist Beheader In Oklahoma Cleared For Execution

[The Federalist] This fall, the U.S. Supreme Court essentially cemented the execution of America’s least known Islamic terrorist. Jihadist convert Alton Nolen ...known at his mosque, Greater Islamic Society of Oklahoma City, as Jahkeem Yisrael and sometimes Jah-Keem Yisrael for reasons that are unclear. That mosque has a bit of a history, having been founded by Mufid Abdulqader, convicted money man of the Holy Land Foundation and half-brother of Hamas big turban Khaled Mashal, while a former imam, Suhaib Webb, was a dear friend of al-Qaeda in Arabia big turban Anwar al-Awlaki. Zacarias Moussaoui was only one of the interesting members of the congregation. Naturally, the Obama administration approved of the place... is now set to be put to death in Oklahoma, likely by nitrogen gas inhalation. The Supreme Court’s October 1, 2018 rejection of Nolen’s final death penalty appeal went unremarked upon by news media so, partly as a result, I missed it. But the Nolen case is very much worth remembering, along with all terror attacks that occur on U.S. soil, if not just for the victims and their survivors but for lessons that can and must be learned. The September 24, 2014 attack in Oklahoma is somewhat notable in the annals of many officially uncalled terrorist strikes in that Nolen emulated a favorite ISIS death tactic no doubt learned online: he fully beheaded a co-worker‐the beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Colleen Hufford‐inside the Moore, Oklahoma food processing plant where they both worked. Shouting "Alluah Akbar" throughout the attack, Nolen used the same oversized butcher knife on the neck of a second co-worker, Tracy Johnson, when the company’s chief operations officer, a reserve law enforcement officer named Mark Vaughn, burst in with an AR-15 rifle. He shot and wounded Nolen as Nolen disengaged from his second victim and charged at him with the bloody knife. Such an attack must generate a particular horror in its witnesses and, when Nolen is finally put to death, one should keep in mind what Hufford must have experienced in her last moments.

Judge Lori Walkley hands down death penalty to convicted Islamic murderer

[Daily Caller] On Sept. 24, 2014, ISIS inspired Islamic convert Alton Nolen entered a food processing plant in Moore, Oklahoma. He took out a butcher knife and beheaded Colleen Hufford and critically stabbed Tracy Johnson. Both were employees at the factory. Nolen, who had been recently suspended from the plant, was a practicing Muslim who was obsessed with gruesome Islamic State beheading videos going viral at the time. Nolen was shot and apprehended after his rampage. Nolen was facing either the death penalty or life in prison without parole after a jury trial in Oklahoma. Friday, the judge handed down his sentence: Death. Judge Lori Walkley took a jury recommendation for the death penalty after months of deliberation. Nolen’s defense argued that he was mentally ill and that his readings of the Quran affected his ability to discern right from wrong. However, recordings of Nolen taken from the hospital and played for the jury showed no remorse over the brutal attack. Nolen’s beheading was particularly horrific for the country as it occurred during a time when Americans were being savagely beheaded on video by ISIS in Syria.

Guess the first mental exam did not produce the desired result

A judge in Oklahoma refused to accept a guilty plea from a man accused of beheading a co-worker at a food processing plant in 2014. Cleveland, kept in touch with the world by Obamaphone, ...was ruled by a Democrat machine from 1942 through 1971. After the river caught fire during the administration of Carl Stokes they tried a Republican, then went back to being Democrats when the party hacked up Dennis Kucinich ... County District Judge Lori Walkley ruled Wednesday that she wouldn't accept the plea from Alton Nolen, who has said he wants the death penalty for the attack at Vaughan Foods in Moore. Walkley said Nolen was not mentally competent to make the plea and ordered another mental evaluation. Nolen entered the guilty plea to a first-degree murder charge in the beheading of 54-year-old Colleen Hufford shortly after he was suspended from the company for making racial remarks. District Attorney Greg Mashburn told Oklahoma City television station KFOR that he believes Nolen is mentally competent and he hopes the delay won't be lengthy.

White House Sends 'Thank You' To Beheader's Oklahoma Mosque Congregation

The White House has reportedly sent a top Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official to the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City (ISGOC) to "present a special thank you to the Moslem congregation," Oklahoma's KFOR reports. The beheader's mosque, the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, was founded by a sibling of a U.S.-designated Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, terrorist, and in the past has welcomed an Imam who was a close confidant to al-Qaeda criminal mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki ... Born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, zapped in Yemen, al-Awlaki was a dual citizen of the U.S. and Yemen. He was an Islamic holy man who was a trainer for al-Qaeda and its franchises. His sermons were attended by three of the 9/11 hijackers, by Fort Hood murderer Nidal Malik Hussein, and Undieboomer Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. He was the first U.S. citizen ever placed on a CIA target list... . David L. Myers, who serves as director of the DHS Center for Faith-based & Neighborhood Partnerships, was tasked with presenting a personal message from President Barack Obama I am not a dictator!... . It read, "Your service is a powerful example of the powerful roots of the Abrahamic faiths and how our communities can come together with shared peace with dignity and a sense of justice." Two days before proud ISGOC congregation member Alton Nolen (AKA Jahkeem Yisrael) ruthlessly beheaded an innocent woman while reportedly shouting Islamic slogans, ISGOC Imam Imad Enchassi made unproven claims about multiple death threats, specifically beheadings, against Moslems and their children in Oklahoma. Breitbart News investigated Oklahoma state hate crime databases and found no record of widespread anti-Moslem persecution in the state. Over the past five years, a total of seven anti-Islamic hate crimes have been documented in the state of Oklahoma. Breitbart News found that Suhaib Webb, the former Imam of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City had been a close confidant of al-Qaeda terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki. Breitbart News also discovered that other radical Islamists, such as convicted terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui, had attended the same mosque. In addition, it was discovered that the mosque was founded by Mufid Abdulqader, the half-brother of the chairman of Gazoo Strip terror group Hamas. In 2009, the mosque's founder was sentenced to 20 years in prison. According to the Department of Justice, Abdulqader was "convicted on one count of conspiracy to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization, one count of conspiracy to provide goods, funds, and services to a specially designated terrorist, and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering." Breitbart News learned that shortly after ISGOC congregation member Alton Nolen executed his jihadi attack, the mosque responded by removing its two most-recent sermons from its website. The first sermon, dated September 19th, revealed the mosque's close connection with the Moslem Brüderbund-founded Council on American-Islamic Relations ... the Moslem Brüderbund's American arm ... (CAIR). Additionally, the Breitbart investigation found that the current ISGOC Imam, Imad Enchassi, falsely claimed that a Republican Oklahoma state representative had said that "American Moslems are a cancer that need to be eliminated." The second sermon, dated September 26th, showed that the mosque had tasked CAIR with handling the damage control. In the past, Imad Enchassi has accused America of "creating more terrorists" with its foreign policy. Enchassi, who considers himself a perpetual "3rd generation refugee" of Paleostine, although he grew up in Beirut, Leb, has wildly accused Israel of "ethnic cleansing" during its recent 50-day war with terror group Hamas.

Champ Official Praises Mosque Of Oklahoma Beheader Alton Nolen

[Daily Caller] A Champ administration official traveled to Oklahoma City Saturday to offer words of praise to congregants at the mosque attended by Alton Nolen, the recent Muslim convert who beheaded a co-worker last month. David Myers, the director of the Department of Homeland Security's Center for Faith-based & Neighborhood Partnerships, spoke at the Greater Islamic Society of Oklahoma City's Eid al-Adha celebration, according to KFOR. "Your service is a powerful example of the shared roots of the Abrahamic faiths and how our communities can come together in shared peace with dignity and a sense of justice," said Myers, reading from a letter penned by President Champ. Words fail me.

OK Beheader Linked To Awlaki, Boston Bomber's Mosque

Suhaib Webb, an Imam with ties to former Al Qaeda mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki, had also previously been the leader of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, which had been attended by Alton Nolen -- the man who on Thursday beheaded a former coworker after recently converting to Islam, Breitbart News has learned. Webb now serves as Imam of the sister organization of the mosque attended by Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. Imam Suhaib Webb has a history of ties to radicalism. FBI surveillance documents found that he was a known confidant of Al Qaeda mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki. Just two days before the September 11, 2001 attacks on America, Webb spoke at a fundraiser with Awlaki with hopes to raise funds for Atlanta-based H. Rap Brown, a man that shot and killed two police officers. The FBI documents also found that “Webb and Awlaki may be associated with the Muslim American Society,” which is a group described by the Investigative Project on Terrorism as being “founded as the United States Chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood.” Nolen took a picture of himself September 5th, just three weeks before he brutally murdered an innocent woman, standing in front of the gates of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City. FBI looking into suspect's religious background after Oklahoma beheading. Honest.

[KFOR] Officials with the Moore Police Department say the FBI is now involved in the investigation related to a brutal attack of workers at a food distribution plant. Sgt. Jeremy Lewis says the alleged suspect, 30-year-old Alton Nolen had just been fired when he drove to the front of the business, hit a vehicle and walked inside. He walked into the front office area where he met 54-year-old Colleen Hufford and began attacking her with a knife. Sgt. Lewis confirms the type of knife used in the attack is the same kind used at the plant. Lewis confirms that Hufford was stabbed several times and that Nolen "severed her head." At that point, Lewis claims Nolen met 43-year-old Traci Johnson and began attacking her with the same knife. Officials say at that point, Mark Vaughan, an Oklahoma County reserve deputy and a former CEO of the business, shot him as he was actively stabbing Johnson. "He's, obviously, a hero in this situation," Sgt. Lewis said, referring to Vaughan. "It could have gotten a lot worse." Authorities say it appears Nolen was attacking employees at random. Johnson is in stable, pH balanced condition at a local hospital, recovering from her injuries. The FBI is now looking into Nolen's background after his former co-workers said he tried to convert them to Islam after converting to the religion himself. Lewis says the FBI is working in conjunction with the Moore Police Department, especially when it comes to the religious aspect of the case. At this time, it is not known if the suspect's beliefs played a role in the attack. Adam Soltani, the executive director of the Council on American Islamic Relations in Oklahoma, says Nolen's actions are condemned by the Moslem community and his faith should not be connected to this horrific crime.

Oklahoma Muslim Convert Goes 'Postal', Beheads Woman

FBI officials are reportedly investigating a beheading at an Oklahoma food distribution center after co-workers said the suspect tried to convert them to Islam after his recent conversion. Beheading...Islam - yes, worth investigating a connection. The alleged suspect, Alton Nolen, 30, was recently fired from Vaughn Foods in Moore prior to Thursday’s attack. Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis told KFOR that Nolen drove to the front of the business and struck a vehicle before walking inside. He then attacked Colleen Hufford, 54, stabbing her several times before severing her head. He also stabbed another woman at the plant, 43-year-old Traci Johnson. Lewis said Mark Vaughn, the company’s chief operating officer and a reserve county deputy, shot Nolen as he was stabbing Johnson, who remains hospitalized in stable condition Friday. Fortunately this was not one of those 'no guns allowed' workplaces.
