US anti-Israel activists blame Israel for Los Angeles wildfire crisis |
2025-01-10 |
[IsraelTimes] Far-left groups Code Pink and Jewish Voice for Peace tie catastrophic fires to funding for Israel, prompting condemnation from Jewish groups US Jewish groups condemned anti-Israel activists on Thursday for blaming the Los Angeles wildfire crisis on Israel. Several anti-Israel groups and commentators linked the war in Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... and US military spending on Israel to the catastrophic fires. Code Pink ... a U.S. anti-war group. The group describes itself as a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education, green jobs and other life-affirming activities.It was founded in 2002 by Jodie Evans, Medea Benjamin and of the other usual antiwar suspects. Its website lists hysterical allegations of US war crimes, and states that thousands of civilians were killed in Fallujah in 2004. Maybe it was millions. Benjamin was a 2000 candidate for the U.S. Senate on the Green Party ticket. She lost... , a far-left activist group, said on Instagram, "When US taxes go to burning people alive in Gaza, we can’t be surprised when those fires come home." That sure sounds like a threat that pro-Hamas types are setting fires as punishment. Something for the new head of the FBI to look into? The group also said it was pressuring Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Senator Alex Padilla at his Washington, DC office, tying the war to climate change.The New York branch of the anti-Zionist Jewish Voice for Peace, in an Instagram post about the fires, said, "Instead of putting resources toward making our country livable, our government is putting billions toward Israel’s genocide of Paleostinians in Gaza." Fatima Mohammed, a leader of New York’s hardline anti-Israel group Within Our Lifetime, posted an image of the fires and said, "The flames of Gaza will not stop there." "Dropping hundreds of thousands of bombs on Gaza, turning it into a blazing inferno, has consequences," she said. "There are climate consequences that will find us all." Commentator Mehdi Hasan also linked US military aid to Israel to the Los Angeles fire department’s budget. The Los Angeles Fire Department is mainly funded by the city of Los Angeles, while military spending for Israel comes from the federal government. Anti-Israel activists have previously tied funding for Israel to unrelated issues, such as New York libraries. New York Congressman Ritchie Torres, one of Israel’s most outspoken supporters in Washington, lashed Code Pink for blaming Israel for the fires. "The nature of Antisemitism is to scapegoat the Jewish People and the Jewish State for everything wrong in the world — no matter how tenuous the causal connection," he said on X. "The modus operandi of Antisemitism is slanderous scapegoating: when in doubt, blame the Jews." "Codepink’s rabid anti-Zionism and insatiable animosity toward Israel drives them to make an absurd, incomprehensible claim," the head of the Anti-Defamation League, Jonathan Greenblatt, said on X. "What does it say about a group that will find a way to use any tragedy to foster incitement and antisemitism?" Amy Spitalnick, the head of the progressive Jewish Council for Public Affairs, called the Code Pink statement "the latest example of a relentless scapegoating of Israel or Jews for virtually any global problem." Spitalnick also warned against right-wing rhetoric blaming the fires on diversity initiatives. Elon Musk, in a post on X about the fires, said, "DEI means people DIE." Insiders reveal how the Democratic Party is locked in a nasty 'knife fight' as top politicians seek revenge for Kamala's $1.5 billion 'circus of lies' |
2024-12-19 |
former senatrix from California, 2020 Dem presidential hopeful and ultimately Joe Biden's intended successor 's humiliating election loss, say political insiders. The battle lines are now drawn between West Coast liberals, Bernie Sanders ...The -socialists and moderate technocrats in the Midwest, who insist the party has completely lost touch with the average American voter. But first, there is one thing that all sides seemingly agree on: The current political establishment must be chased out of national politics for good. A reckoning is coming. 'The people that are responsible for this s**tshow are the Obama people. They're just grifters,' a well-connected Democratic donor exclusively told Daily Mail. He singled out Jen O'Malley Dillon, who went from Biden 2024 campaign chair to serve in the same role for Harris's camp, and David Plouffe, an ex-Obama 2008 campaign manager turned top Kamala adviser. Deep-pocketed lefty patrons are enraged by Plouffe's post-election admission that Harris never led Trump in their internal campaign polling, despite public surveys showing her ahead. '[Polls] came out in late September, early October, showing us with leads that we never saw,' Plouffe revealed late last month on the Democrat-friendly podcast 'Pod Save America.' 'They lied to us. It's just a circus of lies,' the donor erupted, complaining that Harris' team regularly painted a much rosier picture when speaking to supporters who were signing big checks. Particularly appalling to these critics is that Harris' campaign also managed to blow through an unprecedented $1.5 billion in donor cash over the course of 15 weeks — and with barely anything to show for it, losing control of the White House, Senate and failing to flip the House of Representatives. The campaign, for instance, spent nearly $1 million to light up the 366-foot-high, 516-foot-wide LED screen wrapping around The Sphere arena in Las Vegas. The strip landmark played a 90-second Harris campaign ad for a week. '$900,000 to put her face on The Sphere in Las Vegas! The ego!' griped Democrat mega-donor and trial attorney John Morgan last month. He describes himself as a 'Joe The Big GuyBiden ...46th president of the U.S. Too old and senile to be prosecuted, not too old and senile to set national policy... Democrat.' Other examples of alleged profligate spending included $2.5 million on the production costs for an Oprah Winfrey town hall event in September. And there were purported donations totaling $500,000 paid to the civil rights hustler Al Sharpton ...Tawana Brawley's spiritual advisor... 's National Action Network charity (Harris was later treated to a softball interview on Sharpton's MSNBC show). 'People are pissed, and they are rightfully pissed,' fumed Democratic strategist Mike Nellis, a former senior advisor to Harris, to the Mail. Donors like John Morgan are seriously suspicious. 'There's a lot of whispers. There's a lot of names about who got paid this, who got paid that, and a lot of people got rich on the back of donors trying to stop Trump,' he said. Of Harris, he concluded, 'I think this disqualifies her forever. Forever.' 'If you can't run a campaign, you can't run America... The same thing is going to follow Harris for the rest of her career. She cannot be trusted with the money.' Certainly, those vying to be the next boss of the Democratic National Committee are determined to get to the bottom of all of this. Ken Martin, the Minnesota Party chair and frontrunner for the top DNC ( If you're white you ain't right!) ...Democrat National Committee, where all those off-the-wall talking points originate... job, has called for a third-party audit of the entire Democratic party infrastructure. 'I think you're looking at everything. It's not just contracts and consultants, it's not just ad spends and media buys, it's A through Z,' he told MSNBC this week. Another DNC chair hopeful, Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler agrees: 'There needs to be a full review, a full and formal evaluation of this last cycle — the good, the bad and the ugly.' Regardless, Harris insists she is not going anywhere and has, according to reports, been 'instructing advisers and allies to keep her options open.' The VP still has supporters, even among those vying to be the next chair of the DNC. Consultants speaking to the Mail described her four-month race as 'near perfect' and 'nearly flawless,' despite the result. If given more time, they say, Harris could bounce back in a future bid. 'Kamala Harris, whether she knows it or not, is the face of the party, if she wants to be,' said Democratic strategist Michael Trujillo. 'The day after Trump is sworn in she could announce her run for president in 2028.' They blame Biden for staying in the race too long and not giving Harris enough time to get a campaign off the ground. Indeed, relations between the Harrises and Bidens has appeared to turn downright frigid. At a Kennedy Center award ceremony in Washington DC on Sunday, the president and first lady were seated next to the second couple, yet they didn't acknowledge their presence or even look in their direction. Things are getting ugly. Former Speaker Nancy San Fran NanPelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. Former reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... mayor and outgoing ambassador to Japan Rahm Emanuel has in recent weeks been vocal in slamming his party for its elitism, focusing too much on woke notions and special interests instead of the average American. 'Here's what I would say to the Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, whiteanything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nastyto the English language. Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Governor Gavin Governor Hair GelNewsom ![]() threw a shovelful of dirt on Biden's political grave after the president's pardon of his son Hunter despite vowing that he would not. 'I took the president at his word,' Newsom said last week. 'So by definition, I'm disappointed and can't support the decision.' And even Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has gotten in on the action. He triggered an angry response from establishment Democrats almost immediately after the election, when he lamented Harris's 'disastrous campaign' for 'abandoning' the working class. To some, all this bloodletting is welcome. 'Stare into the abyss and see what comes of it because I think that the Democratic Party does a poor job of having tough internal conversations about what went right and what went wrong,' said former Harris adviser Nellis. But it's what comes next that's most critical — and there already early signs of the skirmish. 'There's a reckoning inside the Democratic Party,' said CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... commentator and left-wing activists Van Jones. Coalition of Black Churches Representing 28 Million Americans Demands MSNBC Fire Al Sharpton, Calls for Investigation into Kamala Harris Payments
2024-12-07 | |
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] A powerful coalition of African American churches is calling for the suspension and investigation of MSNBC host civil rights hustler Al Sharpton ...Tawana Brawley's spiritual advisor... , alleging that donations from Kamala Harris ![]() 's campaign to Sharpton's National Action Network have compromised the integrity of the black Church and journalism.
After Harris's defeat to President-elect Donald Trump ...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down... , Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings revealed that the Harris campaign made two $250,000 donations to Sharpton's National Action Network in early September and October. Despite the apparent conflict of interest, the MSNBC weekend host did not disclose the donations to viewers or to the network executives about the payments before or after the interview. According to a report by the Washington Free Beacon, who first broke the story, Harris's donation was part of a larger $5.4 million spending spree aimed at boosting her favorability among Black and Latino groups — a strategy that, as we know, fell flat. Now, the National Black Church Initiative (NBCI), representing 27.7 million churchgoers and 150,000 churches across the country, issued a scathing blurb demanding transparency about a reported $500,000 payment from Harris's campaign to Sharpton's organization. The NBCI says the payment raises questions about the ethics of both Sharpton and MSNBC, where Sharpton is a prominent host. Rev. Anthony Evans, President of the NBCI, described the situation as a ''moral stain'' on the black Church and called on Sharpton to provide full transparency regarding the funds. Sharpton's 'pay to play' scandal 'ricocheting around the halls' of MSNBC, insider says: 'Can't be acceptable' |
2024-11-27 |
![]() The growing scandal plaguing MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton has been "ricocheting around the halls" of 30 Rock with his colleagues calling it a "bridge too far" for them, Fox News Digital has learned. On Tuesday, MSNBC said it was "unaware" that Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign paid $500,000 to Sharpton’s National Action Network nonprofit ahead of a friendly interview with the Democratic nominee just weeks before the election. "MSNBC was unaware of the donations made to the National Action Network," an MSNBC spokesperson told the Washington Free Beacon, which first broke the story. Harris sat down for a friendly interview on Oct. 20 with Sharpton, an open supporter of Harris and the Democratic Party. Following Harris’ defeat to President-elect Donald Trump, FEC filings revealed the Harris campaign gave two $250,000 donations to Sharpton’s nonprofit organization in September and October. However, the MSNBC weekend host did not disclose to viewers the apparent conflict of interest before or after the interview. Neither did he disclose the donations to his bosses at the network, according to the Free Beacon. "No one's surprised that anybody at MSNBC was rooting for Harris. This feels like another level of nonsense. Like, you're kidding me, right? This is weird," a current MSNBC employee reacted to Fox News Digital. "Harris could have given Al Sharpton an interview, and it would have gone the same way," they continued. "But what are you paying for?... There's no way that this can't seem weird." "Everybody knows who Al Sharpton is… but this feels like a bridge too far. A big bridge too far… This is not landing well," the MSNBC staffer said. "Everybody knows what Al Sharpton is, and yet MSNBC still employs him" "This has a bit of a dirty feel to it... These things happen and they don't bounce around MSNBC all that much. Like people just don't care," they continued. "This one feels, I'd say, there's a deeper disappointment. There's a sense of like, 'Ugh, we don't need this. This feels kind of grifty and gross.'" The insider says everyone at MSNBC knows Sharpton is given a "wide berth" and that he's "not held to the same journalistic standard" as others at MSNBC since he's far more known outside the network for his high-profile political and social activism. That said, the controversy reeks of a "pay-to-play" scheme. "There is a sense among the people I've spoken to that this feels like something wrong and that something should be done about it," the MSNBC employee said. "I don't know what that something is… That's a lot of money! That's not a small matter… It just doesn't sit well with people." They, however, cast doubt that Sharpton will face any consequences, telling Fox News Digital "Generally speaking, people do things and they kind of get away with them at MSNBC, I mean, other than in the Me Too era." "I don't care whether somebody does something to Al. I'm more interested in where does this fit into who we are," the MSNBC insider said. "How does this s--- happen? How does half a million dollars change hands?… How can you possibly think you're holding somebody to account in an interview when they donate money to you? We're told not to take tickets to a ballgame!" "It's got a real bulls--- feel to it. People who like Al and respect him and understand what his value is… it ranges from disappointment to disgust. Not a whole ton of surprise, I will tell you that," they continued. "There are some organizational rules- I understand he has different rules, but they can't be that, that you donate money and then you get an interview. That can't be acceptable… I think a three-year-old would see a potential conflict in this." The MSNBC staffer was taken aback by the network being caught flat-footed by the controversy. "For MSNBC to start by saying they weren't aware of otto start with, like, wow. That's something… Everything about this stinks," they said. "Like, why did the campaign not think that this would come out and be a really bad look for them? I mean, if Kamala Harris had become president, it'd be a scandal!… You're not gonna sway my opinion for tickets to a ballgame but for half a million dollars? You might!" "That kind of money should not be changing hands to people who are cosplaying being a journalist. Maybe that's not a fair term because I don't know, is he a journalist? I don't know. But that just feels a little bit like pay to play, and it doesn't feel right in an organization that we're all still part of. I understand that not everyone is held to the same standard, but there should be a set of common rules. And my understanding of this is that this would be breaking a rule… it feels like I couldn't get away with that," the employee added. MSNBC did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Related: Rev. Al Sharpton 02/17/2023 Daniel Greenfield: Antifa Shares a Fundraising Platform With the DNC Rev. Kamala Harris interviewers received large campaign donations to their groups ahead of sit-downs
2024-11-19 | ||
![]() Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign reportedly gave large amounts of money to organizations run by media figures in the weeks before sitting down for interviews with them. FEC filings, first reported by the Washington Free Beacon, show the Harris campaign gave two $250,000 donations to Rev. Al Sharpton’s nonprofit organization in September and October. Harris sat down for a friendly interview with the MSNBC host on October 20, in which he asked her what she wanted her legacy to be, 50 years from now. Sharpton wasn't the only media ally that received a payment from the campaign to his organization ahead of their sit-down interview, a bombshell New York Times report revealed.
Nu Vision Media is a media company run by journalist Roland Martin. Martin spent roughly 30 minutes interviewing Harris on his streaming program in October. The former CNN contributor told the Times the payment was for advertising. "It should have been a hell of a lot more," he said, according to the report. "More should have been spent on Black-owned media."
News of these expenditures comes as the Harris campaign faces increasing scrutiny over its $1.5 billion spending spree during her short presidential campaign. The Times report also found that star-studded election eve rallies cost the campaign over $10 million. While the singers were not paid, the support staff was, the report said. The campaign also made two $500,000 payments to Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions on Oct. 15, a month after Winfrey's town hall with Harris and weeks before the pair appeared at a Harris Philadelphia rally, FEC filings show. The full price of the event with Winfrey was closer to $2.5 million, Harris allies told the Times. A Harpo Productions spokesperson acknowledged to Variety that the company took money from the campaign but claimed it was for "production costs." The Harris campaign did not immediately return a request for comment to Fox News Digital. Related: Al Sharpton 11/15/2024 Rev. ''While Trump supporters will be on one side of Washington watching him take the oath of office, I will be at the nation's capital working to keep the dream alive,'' Sharpton said. ''There has never been a more important time to peacefully organize and mobilize.'' In 2017, the largest anti-Trump rallies in Washington were held one day after his inauguration. Harris campaign dishes out six-figure donations to groups who support defunding police, reparations
2024-10-31 | ||
The Harris campaign gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to a handful of Black advocacy groups who are mobilizing Black voters ahead of November's election next week, according to FEC filings released last week. Black Voters Matters Fund, which received $150,000 from the Harris campaign on Sept. 19, has repeatedly called for defunding the police and has been vocal about pushing for reparations. "The answer to police violence against communities of color is not more money for police," the group wrote in February 2023. "It's time to defund the police and redirect those resources into building strong, healthy communities." In 2020, the group also tweeted, "We are proud to be partner in the #DemocracyFrontlinesFund, created to leverage millions of new dollars to fund Black-led organizers fighting for free and fair elections, and working to defund prisons and police." "There are more than 3,000 sheriffs in the US, nearly all are elected, the group said in another post. "We are working to defund sheriffs and build voter power. Reimagining the system also comes with taking action!" The group's co-founder Latosha Brown, who has been a frequent visitor to the Biden-Harris White House, has repeatedly posted about the group's reparations push and said in a 2021 X post that she has been working on the issue for 27 years. "We deserve to be compensated for the literal blood, sweat and tears our ancestors were forced to put into this country," Black Voters Matters Fund posted in May. In another post last year, the group called reparations "crucial for acknowledging past injustices and moving towards a more just and equitable future." Black Church PAC, which also received $150,000 from the Harris campaign last month, has multiple controversial religious leaders on its board and recent social media posts show it is partnering with a defund the police group to help with "Get out the vote" efforts in Georgia, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. "We’re mobilizing 100K Strong: Knock for Change, Vote for Justice volunteers across GA, PA, and NC to knock on doors and have REAL conversations with REAL voters about the REAL issues that matter most," the Black Church PAC posted last week on social media. The post also mentioned that they were partnering with Until Freedom, which was co-founded by disgraced Women's March leaders Tamika Mallory and Linda Sarsour. Until Freedom has repeatedly advocated for defunding and abolishing the police and sells a "defund the police" shirt on its website. Mallory previously came under fire for her close ties to Farrakhan and calling him the "GOAT," which means "greatest of all time." Her social media profiles are also littered with social media posts showing her attending Nation of Islam events and praising Farrakhan. "One of the reasons why I support Kamala Harris is because I know about the things she was doing while she was in the Senate," Mallory said during a "Breakfast Club" interview a couple of months ago. Mallory also pushed back against people who claim Harris doesn't support reparations, saying she's heard Harris say "over and over again" that she supports reparations. While Harris has been coy about what her reparations plan would look like while campaigning for president, she previously told The Root during her failed 2019 campaign that she believes "there has to be some form of reparations" for Black Americans. The Black Church PAC board includes several pastors who have either called for defunding police, reparations or have praised Farrakhan, including Pastors Jamal Bryant, Frederick D. Haynes III and Michael McBride. McBride, the lead pastor of The Way Christian Center in Berkeley, California, ranted in support of defunding police in 2020, saying on a livestream that defunding the police "ain't a slogan" and that it is a "declaration of a future that we deserve." "We do not deserve police departments to have 40, 50, 60% of the general funds of every single black majority, brown majority city in this country while we don't have food, while we don't have housing, while we don't have equitable education, but we got an expanding police budget," McBride said. "Yes, we want these [police] departments to be shrunk," McBride added. The Harris campaign also doled out $2,050,000 to the civil rights group National Urban League; $300,000 to the Power Rising Action Fund, an "intergenerational power force of Black women from various sectors"; and $250,000 to the National Action Network, which was founded by controversial MSNBC anchor Al Sharpton, whose ties to Farrakhan go back decades.

[ZeroHedge] Reid Hoffman, billionaire co-founder of LinkedIn and independent director on Microsoft's board, appears to have donated a substantial amount of money to the "Progress Action Fund" — a PAC led by a far-left activist and former Obama administration alumnus. PAF pushed out one of the cringiest pro-pornographic political ads to drum up support from chronic masturbators for Kamala Harris.

[NYPOST] A pair of black female activists, who have met with Vice President Harris several times and previously vowed to get “real serious” about helping her become the next president, could alienate some of the “White women for Kamala” supporters with their past rhetoric as they mobilize ahead of November’s election. Cora Masters Barry, Widow of late D.C. mayor Marion the bitch set me upBarry ![]() an appointee of Democrat D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and longtime civil rights activist, and Melanie Campbell, who leads the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, have visited the White House more than 50 times combined during the Biden administration, including nearly a dozen visits with Harris or her staff, a Fox News Digital review found. Weeks before President Biden and Harris were sworn into office in 2021, Barry and Campbell participated in a public Zoom call in which they made controversial statements about Trump supporters and used an expletive against White voters, specifically White women, which could cause some internal clashes as different coalitions mobilize to try to get Harris into the White House. Approximately 164,000 White women hopped on a Zoom call last week, which was organized by Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts and other female celebrities. The call, titled “White Women: Answer the Call,” reportedly raised millions of dollars for Harris’ campaign and could be a major fundraising force over the next few months. [ZERO] There are only so many ways one can say that America is collapsing. That the Fat Lady is nearing the end of her song. That we’re running on fumes. If Yogi Berra were around, he’d say it’s over. We had a good run, as far as civilizations go. We were the light of the world for a long time. Maybe even Reagan’s shining city upon a hill. Yesterday, Jason Whitlock reported on one Dexter Taylor, a software engineer who was just convicted and sentenced to ten years for constructing his own guns without a license. Shades of January 6. Taylor is Black, by the way, for those of you to whom that matters. I don’t expect to see former crack dealer turned FBI informant "Reverend" Al Sharpton leading a protest about this particular Black man being a victim of injustice. Our record-setting prisons are overflowing with people like Taylor, of all races. People who most decidedly don’t belong behind bars. Having watched enough of those Investigation Discovery shows, and cops gone wild videos, I often wonder just how many actual criminals are in prison. The system devotes so much effort to framing innocent people, that they may no longer be capable of convicting truly guilty ones. |
