Fazl's claims against Bajwa, Faiz 'not consistent with facts' |
2024-02-17 |
[GEO.TV] The explosive claims made by Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam ...the political wing of the Pak Taliban... (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman ![]() Mullah Dieselduring the war against the Soviets, his sympathies for the Taliban have never been tempered by honesty. Fazl seldom misses a meal and is now so large he has his own gravitational pull... pertaining to Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf ...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations.... (PTI) founder Imran Khan ...aka The Great Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality disorders... ’s ouster in 2022 via a no-confidence vote have triggered a debate and raised questions over the facts he shared in the interview. During an interview with a private TV channel on Thursday, Fazl claimed that the no-trust move against the PTI government was tabled on the directives of ex-army chief General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa and former spymaster Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hamid. A multi-party alliance led by Fazlur Rehman — Pakistain Democratic Movement (PDM) — had tabled the no-confidence motion in March 2022 which was passed by the National Assembly the next month, paving the way for a coalition government headed by Shehhaz Sharif of Pakistain Moslem League-Nawaz (PML-N). Sources on Friday revealed that Fazl referred to the meeting with General Bajwa on March 26, 2022, and at that time, Hamid was neither serving in the Inter-Services Intelligence ...the Pak military intelligenceagency that controls the military -- heads of ISI typically get promoted into the Chief of Army Staff position. (ISI) nor was part of the meeting. The sources also revealed that the JUI-F chief met with Gen Bajwa and ISI Director-General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum along with Pakistain Peoples' Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and other leaders. The meeting was conducted at ISI Mess Margalla Road in Islamabad, said the sources, adding that Lt Gen (retd) Hamid was then posted as corps commander in Beautiful Downtown Peshawar ...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar is situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, convenient to the Pak-Afghan border. From 1992 to 1999, the MQM was the target of the Pak Army's Operation Cleanup leaving thousands of urdu speaking civilians dead... -Pakistain (MQM-P) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. The sources revealed that Gen Bajwa had asked the opposition leaders to withdraw the no-confidence motion against the PTI founder. "An offer was made that if the no-trust motion is withdrawn, the then-prime minister will resign and announce elections," the sources added. However, some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them... the sources said that during the meeting, Bilawal and Fazl opposed the proposal. The then-PDM chief claimed in the interview that "I was personally against the no-confidence move [...] but if I had said no despite the insistence of other parties, then an impression would’ve been given that I ’saved’ the PTI founder". Fazl also said: "While the PPP was running the movement for a no-confidence motion, Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hamid told me that I could do whatever I wanted, but within the system." The JUI-F chief said Hamid told him that he could not "do anything outside the system" — meaning that every move should be made inside the parliament, not on the streets. "But I rejected his directions," he said but noted that later on, the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), MQM-P, and others left the PTI-led government. "When they said that [the anti-PTI] is now in the majority, I had to agree with them otherwise it would’ve been said that I helped save Imran Khan," the JUI-F chief, who has rejected February 8 election results, said. |

One big hospital ward |
2019-12-16 |
![]() Having experienced this myself this summer when an accident left me needing surgery and immobilised for a period of time, I was so, so grateful for my incredible wife and daughters. Equally, the commitment and compassion of the nursing staff makes me misty-eyed on reflection. If I’d have had to brave a full-fledged riot in that helpless state, with some of the rioters liberally using sticks, stones and bricks and, as in one photographed instance, even a pistol, I doubt I would have survived. Ergo, I can’t even begin to imagine what the patients and their family/friends went through at the Punjab 1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard 2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers 3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots.... Institute of Cardiology this week when the men in black let loose their fury at the hospital in Lahore. Imagine the fear, the grave anxiety gripping the heart already weakened by disease. ![]() The pain, anguish and fear of those who were forced to brave the nightmare, while grappling with cardiac disorders, may resurface with each hospital visit and, heaven forbid, should they need hospitalisation again. Post-traumatic stress is very real. How can any ’punishment’ be enough, or even be quantified, for those responsible? However, a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all... let’s not be naïve. The lawyers whose audacity and criminal behaviour was the subject of live telecasts on multiple channels deserved every bit of the opprobrium they got. But not too many focused on the abject, miserable failure that is the Punjab government. The tragic episode, by my reckoning the first of its kind in Pakistain in which a hospital was attacked, was the culmination of a running feud between two groups of professionals ie the lawyers on the one side and the PIC doctors and paramedical staff on the other. ![]() Let me tell you why this happened. Since the day of its inauguration, the government from the prime minister down to the lowliest minions of the governing PTI have had one priority: the hunting and hounding of their political opponents. This seems to have affected the orientation of the law-enforcement agencies from the paramilitary forces to police to the country’s multi-organization, intelligence setup. So, was it a surprise that when an occasion arose warranting robust policing, those responsible were found wanting? The multifaceted law-enforcement machinery is not inefficient. Its full, ’efficient’ wrath is unleashed to telling effect against political opponents and dissidents. Believe me, I know what I am talking about. Just go to Twitter and search for ’Okara lawyer’ for evidence. You will see a one-minute video on the enforced disappearance of lawyer Ahmad Shafiq on Dec 10. This is the second time he has been kidnapped. He is also facing a case (placing anti-state material on social media) by the FIA under the cybercrime law, enacted so stubbornly by PML-N minister Anushey Rehman’s overruling many voices of sanity. In the CCTV video, the impunity and efficiency of the state agencies are on full display ‐from start to finish when a white Toyota corolla car comes to a halt and a couple of masked men alight, to the time these two and some three to four of their accomplices grab and shove the brave lawyer into the car and drive away. I say brave because a quick look at his Twitter timeline demonstrates what sort of (in the FIA’s view) ’anti-state’ content he was putting out on social media. His crime was no more than yours or mine: believing some policies of our state are not in the national interest. Expressing dissent. That’s all. ![]() ...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless... activist Idris Khattak, who disappeared without trace a few weeks ago and is still to be found. These were people who raised conscientious objections to the state’s unlawful actions but were citizens like you and me. Look at what happened to Rana Sanaullah Khan, the PML-N MNA, whose National Assembly performance caused so much discomfort to the hybrid regime that he was arrested from the Faisalabad ...formerly known as Lyallpur, the third largest metropolis in Pakistain, the second largest in Punjab after Lahore. It is named after some Arab because the Paks didn't have anybody notable of their own to name it after... -Lahore motorway. Some 15 kilograms of heroin were allegedly recovered from him. It was another matter that the Lahore Safe City Cameras recorded important segments of the episode and it turns out that timeline of the case, filed and prosecuted by the military-led ANF, was all over the place, casting serious doubts about the charges. One can go on endlessly about how efficient the state is whether in the case of locking up former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi or former finance minister Dr Miftah Ismail after the two reportedly spurned overtures by powerful quarters to assist the PTI government. Grateful for small mercies even then are we. The four Baloch women who were arrested in Awaran for carting ’arms and ammunition’ for anti-state ’terrorists’ were released at the intervention of former Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... chief minister Akhtar Mengal, currently an MNA. His party provides vital numerical support to sustain the PTI government in Islamabad. In the absence of the rule of law, people seek safety in numbers and resort to tribalism. What else would prompt two of my favourite public figures, lawyers Raza Rabbani and Ali Ahmad Kurd, to say there might be justification for the PIC attack? There isn’t one. Those of us without the safety net of such tribalism can be likened to patients in a huge hospital ward, bereft of compassion and at the mercy of the next marauder. |

BNP-M leader Amanullah Zehri, 3 others dead as unknown assailants open fire on convoy |

![]() ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... (BNP-M) leader Amanullah Zehri was rubbed out on in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan early on Saturday. The BNP-M leader was travelling when his convoy was ambushed by unidentified miscreants, who opened indiscriminate fire. Zehri and three others, including his minor grandson, Mardan Zehri, bit the dust in the incident. The deputy commissioner of Khuzdar and other relevant officials reached the site of the incident along with levies personnel. The area was cordoned off so that evidence could be collected from the site. The bodies were handed over to families after the necessary paperwork was completed at the Civil Hospital. BNP-M Chief Nawab Akhtar Mengal expressed his grief on the loss of lives. "Another dark day for BNP and the people of Balochistan," he wrote on Twitter. "This loss has deprived us all. I’m lost of words today. Devastated to learn that Shaheed Amanullah Zehri with his friends and innocent grandson have been brutally killed in the middle of the night. May Allah have mercy." |

Extremism being promoted in Balochistan to weaken nationalists: Mengal |
2015-01-16 |
[DAWN] Chief of Balochistan![]() ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... National Party-Mengal (BNP-M), Sardar Akhtar Mengal has said extremism was being promoted in Baloch society to weaken Baloch nationalists. "Extremists are penetrating in a tolerant Baloch society," Mengal told DawnNews in an exclusive interview on Thursday. He said new shadowy Lion of Islam organizations were surfacing in the province to undermine the Baloch political and democratic movement. He rejected claims of the nationalists-led government that the law and order situation has improved in Balochistan. Mengal stated that in the chief minister's own constituency, mutilated bodies were being found. When asked about his participation in proposed multiparty conference in Balochistan, Mengal said, "earlier I may participate, currently I may not be in a position to participate in any APC". |

Nationalists take the lead in Balochistan |
2013-05-13 |
[Dawn] Most parts of Pakistain saw major shakeups in political parties' positions, and Balochistan![]() ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... was no exception. In the troubled province, nationalist parties seem to have emerged as the strongest political players according to the unofficial results of the 2013 elections. The Baloch nationalist group, National Party (NP), got eight provincial assembly seats and two national assembly seats. Similarly, the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) secured 10 provincial assembly and three national assembly seats while emerging as the largest parliamentary group in the province. PkMAP won four provincial assembly seats in Quetta city, while PML-N and Majlas Wahdat ul Moslemeen (MWM) each won one seat. However, denial ain't just a river in Egypt... the Balochistan National Party led by Baloch nationalist leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal refused to accept PkMAP's victory and termed it a conspiracy to keep BNP away from parliament. BNP chief Mengal said that his party would not accept the election results and that his party`s victory was 'turned into' a defeat deliberately, on two provincial assembly seats, by returning officers. PkMAP chief Mehmood Achakzai won two national assembly seats from Quetta and his hometown Chaman. Achakzai`s victory in Quetta seems to be the result of his party's stance and criticism of assassinations of Punjabis and Hazaras. It was mostly settlers who voted for Achakzai on NA-259. According to unofficial results, PML-N won eight provincial assembly seats in Balochistan. PML-N had already unconditionally backed Achakzai for the NA seat in Quetta. ![]() ... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf... and also have strong ties, so an alliance between them appears to be natural when it comes to formation of the future government in Balochistan. Nawaz also happens to get along well with Dr. Malik Baloch and Senator Hasil Bizenjo of NP. Chances for a coalition government between the three seem strong. Interestingly, the former ruling party PPP could not retain a single seat in Balochistan whereas the evergreen JUI-F of Fazlur Rehman retained six seats in the Pakhtun-dominated areas of Balochistan. JUI-F will prefer to sit on the opposition benches since the party has remained in power for the last ten years in Balochistan with a lion's share in the provincial government. Voter turnout was low in Baloch areas and a candidate from Awaran won the provincial assembly seat with just six hundred and forty votes. Baloch separatists had opposed the elections and shutter down and wheel jam strikes were observed for three days on the call of Baloch National Front. However, denial ain't just a river in Egypt... the turn out in Quetta and other Pakthun-dominated areas was high. |

Military mindset |
2012-10-07 |
[Dawn] LACONIC it may have been, but the army chief's recent statement on Balochistan![]() ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... came across as full of meaning and revealed a disturbing mindset. Before flying off to Moscow, Gen Pervez Kayani ... four star general, current Chief of Army Staff of the Mighty Pak Army. Kayani is the former Director General of ISI... said the army would support any solution to the Balochistan crisis provided it was "within the constitution". His statement was elaborated upon by an army official when he denied that the army was blocking any political initiative on Balochistan. The army chief's remark came in the wake of Baloch nationalist Akhtar Mengal's appearance in the Supreme Court and the talks he had in Islamabad with some leading politicians culminating in his 'six points'. Whether or not Mr Mengal's nostrum for solving Balochistan's problems is in the interest of the province or the country is for the representatives of the people to decide; unelected institutions need not be officious. On the other hand, Gen Kayani's could have been an off-the-cuff remark. But given the number of times the military has suspended or tampered with the constitution in the past, it is not surprising that not everyone took his words at face value. We hope that the generals have learnt their lesson and stay well within the limits of the constitution. While space doesn't permit a fuller review of the army's forays into politics and how it made and unmade constitutions, an example or two can be noted. Zia ul Haq ![]() at least was not being a hypocrite when he proclaimed that the constitution was nothing but a piece of paper he could tear up. What he considered to be his right as a general had already been demonstrated by two army chiefs. A fourth was to follow in 1999. Coinciding with Gen Kayani's remark, a defence ministry official denied before the SC the existence of a political cell in the ISI, a denial that flies in the face of Pakistain's history. As irony would have it, the refutation came during the hearing of the Asghar Khan case in which a former ISI chief has himself placed before the court documents corroborating his assertion that the intelligence agency distributed money among its favourite politicians to create a multiparty alliance and manipulate the 1990 elections. Way back, another ex-ISI chief had also admitted to such tactics. Army interventions have done enormous harm to Pakistain, militated against the evolution of democratic institutions, eroded the concept of civilian supremacy and corrupted the judiciary. Each time the army quit, the country was left in a greater mess and twice without a constitution (1969 and 1971). Today, the task before all Paks is to consolidate the democratic process. |

Imran admits slump in PTI's popularity

[Dawn] Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf ...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations.... (PTI) chief Imran Khan ![]() ... aka Taliban Khan, who isn't your heaviest-duty thinker, maybe not even among the top five... on Saturday admitted that his party's popularity has dropped by 10 per cent.
The PTI chief did not accept 22 per cent figure of a recent survey. However, a lie repeated often enough remains a lie... he admitted that his party's popularity did go down but only by 10 per cent. Khan said those voters did not switch to any other party and that the PTI will soon be able to reverse this trend. A survey, conducted by the International Republican Institute (IRI) by taking the opinions of six thousand persons from different segments of the society about political parties and the public problems during July-August period, showed that 28 per cent of the people would vote for PML-N, 24 per cent for PTI, 14 per cent for PPP and 3 per cent for MQM. Comparing these figures with the IRI's February survey results, the popularity of the PML-N has increased by 3.7 per cent while popularity of PTI and PPP has sharply dropped by 22.6 and 12.5 per cent respectively.

Foreign interference in Balochistan only visible to Rehman Malik: Mengal |

[Dawn] ![]() ![]() ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. National Party, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, said that only Interior Minister Rehman Malik Pak politician, Interior Minister under the Gilani government. Malik is a former Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) intelligence officer who rose to head the FIA during Benazir Bhutto's second tenure. Malik was tossed from his FIA job in 1998 after documenting the breath-taking corruption of the Sharif family. By unhappy coincidence Nawaz Sharif became PM at just that moment and Malik moved to London one step ahead of the button men. He had to give up the interior ministry job because he held dual Brit citizenship. can see the interference of foreign hands in insurgency-hit Balochistan province, DawnNews reported. The Baloch leader, who has returned to the country after a self-imposed exile of three years in London, was speaking at a joint presser following a meeting with Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf ...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations.... (PTI) chairman Imran Khan ![]() ... aka Taliban Khan, who is the lightweight's lightweight... here on Saturday. Sardar Mengal said that it was not possible to currently hold elections. Mengal said that the province was being exploited for over 65 years now, and all that Balochistan has received is sympathy from political parties. Moreover, the BNP chief said that the interference of foreign elements was only visible to the agencies and the interior minister. Reiterating his position on military operations in Balochistan, Khan said that the current military operation taking place is the fifth such operation in the province, adding that the government has completely failed at resolving the restive province's problems. Khan said that the country's leaders were not learning from the mistakes they have committed in the past. "It is time to form a new Pakistain, and in order to do so we will have to learn from our own mistakes," said Khan. "It is imperative that justice is served to all, including the smaller provinces, minorities and sects." |

Imran Khan endorses Sardar Mengal's six points |
2012-09-29 |
[Dawn] Chairman Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf ...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations.... Imran Khan ![]() ... aka Taliban Khan, who ain't the brightest knife in the national drawer... on Friday endorsed the six points raised by Sardar Akhtar Mengal in the Supreme Court of Pakistain. Khan said that the situation in Balochistan ![]() ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... deteriorated tremendously after 2008 because of a non- representative government installed despite the boycott by the real political stake holders and the resulting assembly is full of corrupt politicians who are only interested in pocketing millions of rupees each year. Military operations against our own people whether covert or overt, were not a solution but a destructive process in itself. The PTI chairman said hat his party has always been against those operations. The damage done historically is huge but if efforts are made they can still be repaired. He added that the issue of 'missing' persons and 'death squads' where people are picked up was alarming for a population that already has the lowest socio-economic indicators as compared to all other provinces. Those involved in the forced disappearances should be brought to book including those who were involved in the murder of Sardar Akbar Bugti. Khan said that we strongly believe that all political parties should be allowed to function freely to prepare the stage for a representative assembly. It can then concentrate on emergency measures to redress the grievances of the people of Balochistan. |

![]() Chief Editor Jinnah opined that the TV programme in which Zaid Hamid (rightist) and Marvi Sirmed (leftist) were made to confront each other, proved Marvi won the argument because Zaid Hamid is a denier of Prophet PBUH as detailed in the book 'Kazzab' by Mian Ghaffar. The False Prophet Yusuf Kazzab had declared Zaid as his successor as false prophet. Marvi was helped by Allah to win the argument against Zaid Hamid. Zaid has since ruined many homes by misleading the wives of other people. There is an interesting story of a marriage which will be told. (Zaid is divorced.) Imran Farooq killed on Altaf's order Daily Mashriq reported that two MQM killers Khalid Shamim and Hammad Siddiqi had told the police they had killed an MQM leader Imran Farooq in London on orders from the MQM boss Altaf Hussain 'because his faction was becoming too strong'. After this discovery by the police, the MQM leadership in Pakistan has been asked to go underground. Pakistani literacy rates hits bottom Reported in Jang Pakistan had fallen below Nepal in national literacy rate and was 157th in the list of 173 countries. Only Afghanistan in South Asia fared worse than Pakistan. In the past year despite pledges Pakistan spent the lowest amount of money in history on education and less than any other country in the region. Zulfiqar Mirza is 'double-edged' sword Humorous politician Hafiz Husain Ahmad was quoted by Jinnah as saying that the rebel PPP leader from Sindh Dr Zulfiqar Mirza had turned out to be a double edged sword. He was making a reference to Hazrat Ali whose sword was named Zulfiqar. Dr Mirza was now dangerous for MQM and his party PPP, thus making him double-edged. How we broke Indian resolve Daily Nawa-e-Waqt quoted a Rangers company commander Sheraz Mirza as saying that he fired the first bullet in the Indo-Pak war of 1965 and one brave Pakistani soldier destroyed the resolve of the Indian army by taking down seven Indian tanks. His company stopped the Indian army for four and half hours with ordinary weapons.
Writing in Express Abbas Athar stated that after Fehmida came to Islamabad to live in a rented house with her two daughters in 1997 as first time elected member of the National Assembly, PML's accountability hunter Saifur Rehman sent camera crews to haunt her and to extract confessions against Asif Zardari but to no avail. Dr Mirza's PhD thesis! Writing in Jang Hamid Mir stated that he once met Dr Zulfiqar Mirza who handed him a thick file saying it was his PhD thesis. Mir looked through the file and found that ten year old information in it accused Wali Khan family, Akhtar Mengal, Akbar Bugti and Bashir Qureshi as Indian agents. It also included MQM as agents of India trying to undo Pakistan. It says the same about Amir Khan who has since returned to the MQM fold but he is also dubbed Iranian agent. Pakistani cadet thrown out of Australia Daily Nawa-e-Waqt reported that a Pakistani Air Force cadet studying at a college in Australia was caught red handed photographing a girl naked. Ubaid Fayyaz was given bail but was soon deported back to Pakistan. Pak Air Force said it had called the cadet back from training. He said he was ousted from the terrorist camp because he was found too young for the job. The Jamaatud Dawa spokesman in Lahore denied that Bashir Ahmad, a juvenile, was ever connected to Lashkar. Zulfiqar Mirza the 8th PPP rebel Daily Jang reported that Zulfiqar Mirza was the 8th PPP rebel speaking out against PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari. Earlier rebels were Aitzaz Ahsan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Safdar Abbasi and Naheed Khan. Also included were Israr Shah and a Benazir loyalist Anwar Beg who were thrown out of the party. Zulfiqar Mirza accuses Babar Ghauri Quoted in daily Pakistan Dr Zulfiqar Mirza stated that MQM leader and minister in charge of the Karachi port Babar Ghauri had made trucks full of weapons to disappear and was responsible for MQM illegally making Rs 1.5 crore daily from the port as 'bhatta' for each container. Mirza a creature of Zardari Writing in Jang Hamid Mir stated that according to Dr Zulfiqar Mirza he was Zardari's class-fellow at Pataro Cadet College after passing which Mirza had joined medical college. He said he passed through tough times after marrying Fehmida Mirza and in 1984 he was shunted out of the army for not voting in the General Zia referendum. He was taken in PIA on the sifarish of his father in law. A second hand car was gifted to him by Zardari who also bought a fridge for him because there was no cold water in his house. In 1989 Zardari made Mirza leave PIA and got him a sugar mill permit after which he became a powerful industrialist with a PPP ticket to enter the National Assembly as a PPP MNA. Faisal Saleh Hayat accused of graft Daily Jinnah reported that federal minister Faisal Saleh Hayat was taking home Rs 14 crore per month from Pak PWD department. The graft was accepted through his maternal uncle Khalid Kharal, cousin Haider, and favourite touts. Graft was also accepted from officers after first threatening them with transfers and postings. There is also two percent commission on all transactions. PPP too involved in Karachi disorder Ex-interior minister and governor Sindh General (Retd) Moinuddin Haider stated in Nawa-e-Waqt that it was not only the MQM which should be held responsible for the disorder in Karachi but also PPP as everyone was involved in 'bhatta' and target-killing. He said Karachi was now worse than Beirut where ethnic war had unfolded for 15 years. Asama Jahangir tells truth Headlined in Mashriq leading Pakistan lawyer and president of Supreme Court Bar told the court that MQM, Sunni Tehreek, Jamaat Islami Sipah Sahaba, and other banned jihadi organisations were bus y talking bhatta in Karachi. She was speaking in front of the Karachi bench after a suo moto notice. Red-capped False Prophet!
