Radical cleric held without bail in Manhattan for ‘trying to recruit NYPD cop’

[NYPost] A radical Islamic holy man was ordered held without bail in Manhattan on Friday — after encouraging a female undercover NYPD cop to carry out terror attacks, authorities said.

At the prosecution’s request, Justice Maxwell Wiley ordered Faisal held in jug without bail.

Faisal was arrested in 2017 in Jamaica and finally brought to New York on Thursday after fighting extradition.

The krazed killer holy man — born Trevor William Forrest — allegedly communicated with a female undercover NYPD officer by e-mail, text and video chat to encourage her to join ISIS and carry out attacks abroad from 2015 to 2017.

"The indictment and arrest of Sheikh Faisal nearly three years ago put a stop to the prolific, radical Islamic propaganda and terror recruitment alleged in this case — delivering a major blow to ISIS’ overall recruitment capabilities," said District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. in a statement.

"The effects of his arrest have been felt across the counterterrorism community worldwide, which has gained actionable intelligence thanks to our seizure of numerous electronics from his home."

A popular online figure, Faisal has overtly supported ISIS and the establishment of an Islamic caliphate through ~~violent~~ mostly peaceful jihad.

In one of his online lectures, he declared, "The way forward is not the ballot. The way forward is the bullet," according to the indictment.

In recorded conversations with the undercover cop, Faisal encouraged her to take a Moslem groom and offered to arrange the marriage for her.

On Jan. 26, 2015, Faisal sent the undercover an e-mail stating, "a brother in the dawla wants to interview u for marriage. Pls whatsapp him," court papers allege.

"Abdullah El Faisal has spent two decades inspiring the murderous Moslems behind plots and attacks in London, New York, and onboard airplanes in flight," said NYPD Police Commissioner Dermot Shea in a statement.

The NYPD and Manhattan DA began their pursuit of Faisal in 2014.

Faisal was previously convicted of similar charges in England for inciting murder and using inflammatory language "in furtherance of terrorist ideologies," according to prosecutors.

He’s due back in Manhattan Supreme Court on Oct. 7.

A JAILED preacher who inspired one of the 7/7 bombers has sparked rage by using human rights laws to try to stay here. Abdullah El-Faisal was jailed for nine years in March 2003 for inciting murder in vile rants but he is due to be released this month. The Home Office plans to deport him to his native Jamaica but the Muslim convert, with links to Al Qaeda, claims he has a right to family life in Britain.

El-Faisal is the latest to take advantage of human rights legislation to make a mockery of Tony Blairs pledge to kick out foreign extremists. Last night critics condemned his attempt to remain in a country he has targeted in his sick messages. Labour MP and chairman of the Commons Joint Committee on Human Rights Andrew Dismore said: He should be deported. He has committed a serious offence, the effects of which stretch way beyond the actual offence itself. He is not a British national and should be removed. The sooner he is on the plane, the better.

El-Faisal was also jailed for stirring up racial hatred. The trial judge said he had fanned the flames of hostility.

The twice-married father-of-four urged his followers to kill Hindus, Jews and Americans and distributed tape recordings with titles including No Peace With The Jews and Declaration Of War. He called for non-believers to be killed with chemical and nuclear weapons, guns and bombs while dismissing the killing of women and children in terror atrocities as collateral damage.

I'm surprised he wasn't collecting welfare while spewing this swill.

El-Faisals twisted preachings were delivered at Brixton mosque, where shoe bomber Richard Reid is said to have met Zacharias Moussaoui the so-called 20th hijacker in the 9/11 attacks.

It emerged last year that El-Faisal was also believed to have influenced 7/7 bomber Jermaine Lindsay.

Hadn't heard that but I'm not surprised if he was hanging out at Brixton.

The official Home Office account of the attacks detailed the danger he poses, adding: It is believed that he (Lindsay) was strongly influenced by the extremist preacher Abdullah El-Faisal. Lindsay is believed to have attended at least one lecture and to have listened to tapes of other lectures by him.

Tory MP Patrick Mercer joined calls for El-Faisal to be deported. He said: It seems very odd that this man is prepared to undermine our society and encourage violence, yet the moment it suits him he cries human rights. This is hypocrisy of the worst kind and we need to just get rid of the man.

El-Faisal was the first Muslim preacher of hate to be jailed for his rantings. He is being held in high-security Long Lartin prison, in Worcestershire.

Whitehall sources said the Home Office would look to deport him as soon as possible after his prison release date and he would stay in custody until that happens.

But lawyers are now using the European Convention of Human Rights to argue that he should be allowed to stay because of his right to a family life. His four children, stepchildren, wife and former wife are all living in Britain, said his lawyer Khalid Sofi.

He has already lost one appeal before immigration judges but his lawyers plan to fight that decision at the High Court, in a case which could keep him here for several more months. Mr Sofi insisted the case was not being funded by legal aid but it will still cost the taxpayer tens of thousands of pounds for the Home Office to fight it. He said: His case is based on his human right to have a family life. He has a family here, he has children and wants to remain here with them.

He just doesn't want to behave here. It's called 'chutzpah' but that's a Yiddish word.

Obviously that isn't going to happen but I have no tolerance for their point of view. I wouldn't resort to violence, unless attacked, but something has to be done. They're using the very freedom they despise to try and undo that same freedom. We need more outrage over this issue and it should get massive coverage by the mainstream media. Where are they?

Harakat ul-Khilafah is another of the Brit nutcase organizations:

I've commented before on al-Muhajiroun and the Brit mullahs. I've been unable to understand why the Brits haven't cracked down on them seriously since 9-11. That's because I'm not in the last surprised at their desire to institute shariah in England â the ultimate aim is literally to control the world:

Muslims cannot coexist with other religious denominations unless under the divine system of ISLAM. This is because Islam protects the lives, honour, dignity of all citizens within the Islamic state (Al-Khilafah) wether they be Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, atheist, etc. (Fact: For more than 1300 years has ISLAM Successfully looked after the affairs of mankind).

To take up Sheikh Bakri's theme for the hoe-down, one of the good things that has come out of the 9-11 attacks is that these people have been unable to control their arrogance and their vitriol. They're under the mistaken impression that the attacks actually hurt us, rather than just making us mad. Because the amount of money it's cost us is huge by their standards â Binny said it's more than Sudan's GDP â they don't see it as our national pocket change.

The reaction to 9-11 been like turning on a light â you never saw so many cockroaches in all your life. But you've got to know the little beasties are there before calling in an exterminator. The bad part is that because of the "don't blame all Muslims" mush that was spewed in the wake of the attacks, and the fact that President Bush hasn't been reminding the public on a daily (at least weekly, for Gosh sake!) basis that we're in a real, serious war against an implacable enemy, we're going to have to suffer through more attacks before we make the really vicious moves that are going to be necessary to defeat the enemy. If we don't make those moves â civil libertarians, hide your eyes â we're going to lose the war, and our children will be wearing turbans and burkas.

The only reason I can see that the lot of these guys hasn't been jugged is that for every event like this, you see the same faces over and over. Maybe the Brits figure that having visible nutcases is better than having nutcases incognito.

Islamic preacher denies soliciting murder

An Islamic preacher has denied charges of soliciting murder and stirring up racial hatred. Abdullah El-Faisal, 38, of Stratford, east London, pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey to nine charges arising mainly from audio tapes made of his speeches, and was remanded in custody for trial on November 18. He was accused of soliciting Muslims to murder non-believers, Indians, Hindus, Jews and Americans.
"Stirring up racial hatred? Moi? Never! Oh. It's on tape. Well, they're just Indians, Hindus, Jews and Americans..."
