CCP-Linked Billionaire Neville Singham ‘Literally Hiding' from Congress, Faces Asset Freeze Push |
2025-07-10 |
[Breitbart] Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is escalating efforts to hold billionaire Neville Roy Singham accountable, urging the State and Treasury Departments to freeze his assets and visa as he evades a congressional investigation into his alleged ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and far-left extremist groups. Neville Roy Singham is married to Jodie Evans, who is a co-founder of the women's anti-war activist organization Code Pink Luna announced the move in a post on X, claiming that Singham is refusing to respond to the committee’s letter. “Neville Singham—the billionaire communist with ties to the CCP, who funded the LA riots and used immigration & Mexicans as a Trojan horse for communism—is hiding from our letter requesting testimony,” she wrote. “Therefore, if he decides to hide in CHINA, we will now be asking the State Dept. and Treasury to freeze his assets/visa.” Luna’s latest warning follows a June 13 letter from the House Oversight Committee to Singham requesting documents and testimony related to his alleged funding of extremist groups including the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), the People’s Forum, and the ANSWER Coalition, all of which are accused of promoting civil unrest and echoing Chinese government propaganda. Every Republican member of the committee signed on to the inquiry. While Senate Republicans, including Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham, sounded the alarm on Singham’s activities last year, the Biden administration did not act. Luna has sharply criticized that inaction, contrasting it with President Trump’s deployment of federal forces to respond to the unrest in Los Angeles. She has described Neville Singham as a Marxist and George Soros as a globalist, arguing that both are working to destabilize the West and undermine Trump’s efforts The committee warned that Singham’s actions may violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and other federal laws, particularly if he is acting “at the behest of a foreign principal” to influence American public opinion or policy. “Reportedly, you have supported these groups with the aim of causing destruction and division in our country,” the letter to Singham stated. It cited recent riots and violence in Los Angeles, which the committee said prompted President Trump to deploy the National Guard. According to the committee, Singham’s support for far-left groups extends back decades and includes millions of dollars funneled through dark money nonprofits with virtually no public footprints. Nonprofit filings show nearly $1.8 million flowed from entities the committee identifies as part of Singham’s network to Maku Group, a Chinese media company whose offices prominently display a banner reading “Always Follow the Party” beneath an image of CCP General Secretary Xi Jinping. The letter also cites reporting from the New York Times, which found Singham resides in the People’s Republic of China and has supported groups that “mix progressive advocacy with Chinese government talking points.” In 2019, he reportedly launched a consulting firm with Chinese partners “active in the propaganda apparatus” of the CCP. The Oversight Committee’s letter warns that Singham’s suspected funding of the PSL and affiliated groups may be part of a broader CCP strategy known as the “Strategy of Sowing Discord,” a long-documented tactic of provoking internal strife within foreign adversaries. The letter underscores that if Singham is carrying out such a campaign on behalf of Beijing, he may be required to register under FARA. Singham’s influence reportedly extends to groups tied to radical antisemitic movements, including Shut It Down for Palestine (SID4P), which was formed in 2023. According to the Network Contagion Research Institute, “Conveners” operating under the SID4P umbrella are listed as part of Singham’s donor portfolio. The House Oversight Committee noted that some of these organizations have ties to U.S.-designated foreign terrorist groups, such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). One such SID4P “endorser,” Samidoun, has been identified in open-source reporting as a front for the PFLP. The Oversight Committee is now seeking a briefing from Attorney General Pam Bondi on whether organizations funded by Singham may have violated FARA or acted on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party in connection with the recent unrest in Los Angeles. In a separate letter to Bondi, the Committee listed nineteen groups under investigation for potential ties to Singham and the CCP, including Code Pink, the People’s Forum, Dongsheng News, BreakThrough Media, and the National Students for Justice in Palestine. The House Oversight Committee, under its authority in House Rule X, continues to demand full compliance from Singham and is working to ensure the American people are informed about foreign influence operations that threaten national security. Using Cellular Infrastructure to Detect Drone Attacks |
2025-07-07 |
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited. Text by Andrey Mikhailovich Sukhov [ColonelCassad] This weekend I was out of town again and for the first time in a long time I encountered the problem of mobile Internet disconnection at Megafon. Previously, I encountered such a problem in September 2023 in Sevastopol, where the mobile network was routinely disconnected every night. Recently, in Samara, disconnections have become unpredictable. Popular rumor explains these disconnections by the fight against enemy drones. ![]() At first glance, disconnecting mobile networks is a preventive measure against drone attacks, this is a standard solution. But experience shows that such solutions cannot prevent attacks with serious consequences. Therefore, it is better to look for a non-standard solution, here the experience of conducting research and putting forward non-trivial ideas can and should come to the rescue. The infrastructure of mobile operators can be used as a drone detection system. This is a kind of radar system, and the drones themselves register and maintain communication with it. Note that the coverage of the territory by base stations of cellular operators significantly exceeds the coverage of defense radars. The communications infrastructure has been developing for several decades and has achieved its goal of providing full coverage of the most populated areas in the European part of Russia. Let us briefly describe the main provisions of the detection technology. If a drone has a cellular modem with a SIM card on board, this card will periodically turn on. Each activation is recorded at the corresponding base station and entered into the general database. In this case, the time of activation is recorded, other parameters allow us to determine the approximate location of the drone. Repeated activation of the modem in the coverage area of another base station is also recorded. Based on the difference in the location of the drone at different points in time, we can calculate the average speed of the object. For drones, especially the new generation, this speed will be significantly higher than for cars and trucks. This is the first condition for selecting potential violators. It should be noted that information about subscriber activations represents a huge array of data, which is quite difficult to process. Therefore, at the first stage, it is necessary to develop methods to reduce the amount of data and optimize the methods of their processing. This is necessary to save computing power, which is required to solve the problem. And here the scientific approach allows to reduce the required resources by several orders of magnitude. Another way to reduce the required computing resources is to use artificial intelligence technologies. For example, to calculate the average speed of an object, it is necessary to build a route between two points along existing roads. This can be done using Yandex maps, which uses AI technologies. This approach allows you to accurately find the distance and average speed. In any case, to implement such ideas, teams of researchers are needed, preferably multidisciplinary ones. Unfortunately, judging by the results of using the provider infrastructure for destructive actions, we can conclude that security research is far from always effective. The latter remark concerns not only mobile operators, including the largest ones, but also government agencies whose task is to regulate and protect the communications infrastructure. So far, the largest Russian IT companies cannot boast of advanced scientific results and technologies based on them, like Chinese companies. Reports at scientific conferences from Russian IT companies are of a marketing nature and are aimed at promoting borrowed services. But now the situation has changed. Mobile operators will either cope with the problem of communication outages and help detect drones, or they will experience a rapid outflow of subscribers. Personally, I plan to change the expensive tariff for the cheapest one in the near future. Communication interruptions and the ban on access to many scientific sites compared to wired Internet providers dictate the choice in favor of the latter. No one will pay for the Internet that is constantly disconnected and cut off. At the moment, processing the existing arrays of subscriber connection data will help to establish the routes of drones. This work must be carried out urgently, starting with the creation of effective algorithms for data processing. Moreover, there are many problems that need to be solved urgently. As an example, we can cite the very painful issue of detecting sources of Internet broadcasts in cellular networks to prevent terrorist attacks. All new Internet broadcasts and their location must be taken into account. Moreover, detection methods using packet sampling in software-defined networks have long been developed. In conclusion, I would like to raise the issue of organizing fundamental scientific research in the field of security. Unfortunately, the number of available platforms where you can discuss such problems and exchange opinions has greatly decreased. Previously, Technololis Era in Anapa regularly held similar events, but the covid epidemic and the subsequent SVO stopped such meetings. From foreign experience, I would like to mention the blog system at the central journal of the International Association of Programmers (Communications of the ACM). Qualified ACM members can publish their ideas and receive feedback in the form of discussion. Nothing similar has been created in Russia yet. Baghdad says ‘unacceptable’ for KRG to blame drone attacks on PMF |
2025-07-06 |
[Rudaw] The Iraqi government on Saturday said it was "unacceptable" for Erbil to accuse the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF, or Hashd al-Shaabi) of being complicit in a string of drone attacks in the Kurdistan Region. "The accusation issued by the Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan Regional Government [KRG] against an official Iraqi security institution is unacceptable, condemned, and impermissible under any pretext, especially since it was issued in the absence of evidence," the prime minister’s spokesperson Sabah al-Numan said in a statement. On Friday, the KRG’s Interior Ministry blamed the PMF for recent drone attacks that it said were carried out "with the intention of creating chaos." It called on Baghdad to bring the perpetrators to account. Baghdad said that such accusations risk undermining the country’s stability and instead urged "cooperation and coordination through official channels." Kurdish farmer disappears in Kirkuk, ISIS suspected |
2025-07-05 |
[Rudaw] A Kurdish farmer disappeared Wednesday night in Iraq’s disputed Kirkuk province, leaving his family and authorities perplexed after his cash and phone were found untouched in his truck. The suspected abduction of the father of four underscored the critical security vacuum in the region. Forty-year-old Ari Ramazan disappeared in Prde (Altun Kupri) sub-district, 40 kilometers northwest of Kirkuk city, while returning from his orchard, according to his family who suspect the Islamic State ![]() Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS) is responsible. "He is a farmer and all farmers this year are not doing well and their crops haven't made money. He was at his orchard and when he was leaving, they kidnapped him. He is married and has four children. This has become his daily route," Shwan Baqir, a relative of Ramazan, told Rudaw on Saturday. Ramazan’s truck was found near the village of Kalur between Prde and Kirkuk city. His phone and six million Iraqi dinars were left untouched, according to information obtained by Rudaw. Locals said similar disappearances have happened in the past and blamed a security vacuum in the area. "This is not the first time. Some time ago another man was kidnapped here and another was killed because there is no proper and good checkpoint in the area to prevent such acts," Ahmed Yasin, another relative of Ramazan, said at the site where his truck was found. "The area has fallen into a security vacuum between Peshmerga and the army. Both have neglected it and the people here have been harmed," he added. Iraqi security forces started searching the area on Thursday. ISIS continues to pose a threat in disputed territories where there is an unclear division of responsibility between Iraqi forces and Kurdish Peshmerga. The turbans periodically abduct people for ransom. Tensions are also high in the area this week after a Kurdish woman was named mayor of Prde sub-district. Supporters of the Iraqi Turkmen Front and the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have staged protests. |

Who is behind recent rocket, drone attacks in Kurdistan Region, disputed territories? |
2025-07-03 |
Apparently I was wrong yesterday. Good to know. [Rudaw] Iran-aligned groups have denied involvement in recent rocket and drone attacks targeting the Kurdistan Region and territories disputed between Baghdad and Erbil. Several of their leaders and affiliated politicians have publicly denied any involvement, blaming either Islamic State![]() Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS) remnants or political scapegoating ahead of Iraq’s November elections. A string of unclaimed drone and rocket attacks have hit the Kurdistan Region and several disputed territories between Erbil and Baghdad since the start of the week, with no group claiming responsibility. The incidents come amid heightened tensions and diminished air defense capabilities following the Iran-Israel conflict in June, which left much of Iraq’s radar infrastructure inoperable. A source from Iraq’s defense ministry told Rudaw on condition of anonymity that the radar systems remain severely compromised. "Out of three radars, two have been taken out of service during the Iran-Israel war. One was in Baghdad and the other in Nasiriyah. Now, only the western sector radar is working, and that's not enough to track these objects," the source said. Intelligence units in the Defense Ministry and other security agencies have launched investigations, but the source warned that the lack of functioning radar is delaying tracking and response efforts. The renewed drone activity follows a US-brokered ceasefire that ended a 12-day war between Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneouslytaking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militiasto extend the regime's influence. They hate and Israel. During the conflict, numerous drones and missiles flew through Iraqi airspace, including the Kurdistan Region, where several drones fell or were intercepted, and a renewed series of similar incidents began again on Sunday. RECENT DRONE AND ROCKET ATTACKS On Tuesday, two explosive-laden drones were intercepted over Sulaimani province, with one crashing in the Tasluja area. No casualties were reported, according to local officials. That same day, a drone struck the Darkar camp housing displaced Yazidis about 36 kilometers northwest of Duhok. The Kurdistan Region’s Directorate General of Counter Terrorism (CTD) said the drone was laden with explosives and caused material damage. Civil defense teams from Zakho reported that three cabins at the camp caught fire as a result of the crash. No injuries were reported. In Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... Governor Rebwar Taha said three Katyusha rockets struck the city overnight. One hit a residential home, while two others landed between the civilian and military zones of Kirkuk International Airport. No fatalities were reported. In Salahaddin province, three people were maimed on Sunday when a kaboom hit the Baiji oil refinery. While some media outlets claimed the site was targeted by 12 drones, Saif Muhannad, head of the Salahaddin provincial council’s media office, said only two drones were confirmed, and there is no evidence of a coordinated 12-drone attack. "This isn’t the first time the base has been targeted, but there are some gangs that are dominant in that area," he said. MILITIA GROUPS DENY INVOLVEMENT, BLAME ISIS Mahdi al-Kaabi, a political committee member of Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, an Iran-aligned Iraqi militia group, denied responsibility for the recent attacks. "We, as the Nujaba movement, are not participating in any way in these recent attacks carried out with missiles and drones," he told Rudaw, adding that there is coordination between the resistance groups and the Iraqi government to prevent military escalations. Kaabi suggested the accusations against militias are politically motivated. "Pointing fingers at us and other resistance front groups is somewhat related to the approaching elections," he said, referring to Iraq’s upcoming parliamentary vote set for November. Mohammed al-Bayati, a senior Badr Organization official in Kirkuk, also denied involvement. "Never do the Popular Mobilization Forces [PMF, or Hashd al-Shaabi] and Badr attempt to carry out attacks in that manner, especially at this sensitive time," he said, suggesting that ISIS bad boys, who remain active in some regions, may be behind the attacks. ISIS, which seized large parts of Iraq in 2014 before being territorially defeated in 2017, continues to carry out hit-and-run attacks from remote mountain and desert areas. In Diyala, Turki al-Attabi, a member of the provincial council, said that no evidence has emerged linking the government-affiliated and Iran-backed Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) to any of the drone or rocket attacks. "If any necessary evidence is obtained, we will inform the public," he said. |

UK F-35 parts exports to Israel are lawful, High Court rules
2025-07-01 | ||
![]() The government suspended about 30 arms export licences to Israel last September because of a risk of UK-made weapons being used in violations of international law in the Gaza Strip. But the UK supplies components to a global pool of F-35s which Israel can access. The government had argued it could not pull out of the defence programme without endangering international peace. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch expressed their dismay at the ruling. Both groups had intervened in the case. "The horrifying reality in Gaza is unfolding in full view of the world: entire families obliterated, civilians killed in so-called safe zones, hospitals reduced to rubble, and a population driven into starvation by a cruel blockade and forced displacement," said Sacha Deshmukh, chief executive of Amnesty International UK. "This judgment does not change the facts on the ground, nor does it absolve the UK government of its responsibilities under international law." The two judges said the case was not about whether the UK should supply arms and other military equipment to Israel - because the government had decided it should not. They were being asked to decide on a particular issue: whether the UK "must withdraw from a specific multilateral defence collaboration" because of the prospect that some UK-manufactured parts may be supplied to Israel and used in contravention of international law in the conflict in Gaza.
UK industry makes 15% of every F-35, according to the Campaign Against the Arms Trade. Oxfam, which provided evidence to the court, said: "It is unconscionable that the government would continue to license the sale of components for F-35 jets knowing that they are used to deliberately attack civilians in Gaza and destroy their means of survival, including vital water supplies." The case was brought by al-Haq, a group based in the Israel-occupied West Bank, and the Global Legal Action Network against the Department for Business and Trade. The court said that Business Minister Jonathan Reynolds was "faced with the blunt choice of accepting the F-35 carve out or withdrawing from the F-35 programme and accepting all the defence and diplomatic consequences which would ensue". The government also argued pulling out of the defence programme could undermine US confidence in the UK and Nato. But human rights groups argue that the global rule of law is under threat over Gaza. "The atrocities we are witnessing in Gaza are precisely because governments don't think the rules should apply to them," said Yasmine Ahmed, UK director of Human Rights Watch. "Judicial deference to the executive in this case has left the Palestinians in Gaza without access to the protections of international law, despite the government and the court acknowledging that there is a serious risk that UK equipment might be used to facilitate or carry out atrocities against them." The government says it will continue to keep its defence export licensing under review. "The court has upheld this government's thorough and lawful decision-making on this matter," a spokesman said. Lawyers for the human rights groups are considering if they can find grounds to appeal.
The government said the ruling showed it had rigorous export rules and it would continue to review its licensing agreements, a spokesperson said. The government last year suspended about 30 of 350 existing export licenses for equipment deemed to be for use in the conflict in Gaza because of a “clear risk” the items could be used to violate international humanitarian law. Equipment included parts for helicopters and drones. But an exemption was made for some licenses related to components of F-35 fighter jets, which are indirectly supplied to Israel through the global spare parts supply chain and have been linked to bombing the Gaza Strip. While Al-Haq argued the UK shouldn’t continue to export parts through what it called a “deliberate loophole,” given the government’s own assessment of Israel’s compliance with international humanitarian law, the government said the parts were distributed to a collaboration involving the US and six other partners to produce the jets. Al-Haq had its offices in Ramallah shuttered by Israel in 2022, 10 months after the Defense Ministry designated Al-Haq and several other Palestinian groups as terrorist organizations over their alleged links to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a leftist terror group. The international community has asserted that Israel has failed to provide convincing evidence to back up its claims. Components manufactured in the UK are sent to assembly lines in the US, Italy and Japan that supply partners — including Israel — with jets and spare parts, the court said. Palestinians say 20 killed near aid site; IDF says troops fired at Gazans who posed threat |

[IsraelTimes] Military says toll reported by Palestinian media inconsistent with its data; rocket fired from north Gaza intercepted; IDF says it destroyed 1,200 terror sites in Khan Younis suburb The military said Tuesday that troops fired warning shots at Paleostinians who approached them near a US- and Israeli-backed aid distribution site in Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... hours before it opened, while separately, it shot down a rocket fired from the northern part of the Strip at Israel. Soldiers fired the warning shots at Paleostinians who approached them, posing a threa, in the Netzarim Corridor area near the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) facility, the Israel Defense Forces said. The military said the Paleostinians approached the troops "despite warnings that the area is an active combat zone." Paleostinian media reported that some 20 people were killed and dozens were maimed in the incident — a toll that cannot be verified. The reports said the people were waiting to pick up supplies at the site. Medics said the casualties were rushed to two hospitals — the al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, and the al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City, in the north. The military said it was aware of the reports of casualties caused by its gunfire in the area, but "the reported number of casualties is inconsistent with the information available to the IDF." The IDF said it was further investigating the incident. Last week, it warned Paleostinians not to approach routes leading to Gaza Humanitarian Foundation sites between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. local time, describing these roads as closed military zones. There was no immediate GHF comment on Tuesday’s incident. Additionally, it was unclear how many of its sites had opened. "I went there at 2 a.m., hoping to get some food. On my way there, I saw people returning emptyhanded. They said aid packages have run out in five minutes. This is insane and isn’t enough," said Mohammad Abu Amr, 40, a father of two. "Dozens of thousands arrive from the central areas and from the northern areas too, some of them walked for over 20 km (12 miles), only to come back home with disappointment," he told Rooters via a chat app. He said he heard the firing but didn’t see what happened. The Israel- and US-backed GHF has faced heavy scrutiny from other aid bodies, as well as the UN and foreign countries, which say that it does not sufficiently address the humanitarian needs in the war-torn Paleostinian enclave. Critics have also accused GHF of putting aid seekers in harm’s way, with operations beset by deadly incidents for multiple days in a row. Hamas ![]() authorities claimed at least 10 people were killed after the GHF closed one of its Tel Sultan centers due to the "chaos of the crowds" on Monday. Witnesses blamed IDF troops and the Abu Shabaab group, which defense sources confirmed on Thursday that Israel was arming. The militia has been linked in the past to smuggling operations with Egyptian jihadist groups. Also called the Popular Forces, the group says it is guarding the environs of the GHF centers in southern Gaza. Aid workers say it has a long history of looting UN aid trucks. GHF has said it does not work with the Abu Shabaab group. Though the UN has continued to distribute aid in the Strip while GHF finds its footing, it has complained that it has been unable to deliver much of its humanitarian supplies due to IDF restrictions on movements and because roads that the military designates for its trucks to use are unsafe and vulnerable to looters. Israel and the United States accuse Hamas of stealing aid, while the UN denies there is any systematic diversion away from civilians. The UN says the new system is unable to meet mounting needs and allows Israel to use aid as a weapon by determining who can receive it and by forcing people to relocate to where the aid sites are positioned. Meanwhile, ...back at the Hubba Hubba Club, Nunzio wondered: Where the hell was Chumbaloni? And where was his $600?... on Tuesday, a rocket launched from northern Gaza was intercepted by air defenses, the military said. Sirens had sounded at Zikim Beach. Following the rocket fire, the IDF issued an additional evacuation warning for the area of the launch — an area that is already under an existing order issued by the military in late May. "The IDF is operating with great force in the areas where you are located to destroy the capabilities of terror organizations. The IDF will respond firmly to every terror act or rocket attack," the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Col. Avichay Adraee said on X. Civilians were called to head for "known shelters" in Gaza City. 1,200 ’TERROR INFRASTRUCTURES’ IN KHAN YOUNIS DESTROYED IDF troops demolished over 1,200 "terror infrastructures" in the Khan Younis suburb of Khuzaʽa during a recent operation in the area, as part of efforts to expand Israel’s buffer zone along the border with the Gaza Strip, the military said Tuesday. The operation in Khuzaʽa in recent weeks was led by the 188th Armored Brigade. "The forces worked to locate and destroy terror infrastructure in the [Khuzaʽa] area, which served as a central Hamas terror stronghold," the IDF said. Hundreds of Hamas Lions of Islam set out from Khuzaʽa during the October 7, 2023, onslaught, especially to Kibbutz Nir Oz. Nir Oz was one of the worst-hit communities during Hamas’s October 7 terror onslaught. In all, 47 people were killed in the kibbutz and another 76 were kidnapped by the Lions of Islam to Gaza. During combat engineering operations and ... KABOOM!... s, the IDF said it killed dozens of terror operatives and destroyed 1,200 sites, both above and below ground, to "remove the threat to the border communities." Among the destroyed infrastructures was a tunnel that was 500 meters long and 25 meters deep, the military added. Additionally, the al-Amal Hospital in Gaza is now "virtually out of service" due to intense military activity, the head of the WHO said Monday. "Access to the hospital is obstructed, preventing new patients from reaching care, and leading to more preventable deaths," the World Health Organization’s director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus posted on X. Tedros said two emergency medical teams — one local, the other international — "are still doing their best to serve the remaining patients with the limited medical supplies left on the premises." "With the closure of al-Amal, Nasser Medical Complex is now the only remaining hospital with an intensive care unit in Khan Younis," he said. The WHO said June 5 that al-Nasser and al-Amal hospitals were unable to fully treat the maimed that continue to pour in because of serious shortages of medicines and medical supplies after the now-ended total blockade. The Hamas-run Health Ministry says more than 54,000 people in the Strip have been killed or are presumed dead in the fighting so far, though the toll cannot be verified and does not differentiate between civilians and fighters. Israel says it has killed some 20,000 combatants in battle as of January and another 1,600 Lions of Islam inside Israel during the October 7, 2023, onslaught. Israel launched its war in Gaza following the Hamas assault on southern Israel that killed some 1,200 people and saw another 251 taken hostage. Terror groups in Gaza continue to hold 55 hostages, including the bodies of at least 33 confirmed dead by the IDF, and 20 who are believed to be alive. There are grave concerns for the well-being of two others, Israeli officials have said. Israel has said it seeks to minimize civilian fatalities and stresses that Hamas uses Gaza’s civilians as human shields, fighting from civilian areas, including homes, hospitals, schools, and mosques. Israel’s toll in the ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza and in military operations along the border with the Strip stands at 429. |

The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... Those sanctioned include Addameer, a nongovernmental organization that was founded in 1991 and is based in the Paleostinian Authority-controlled city of Ramallah in the West Bank. The group provides free legal services to Paleostinian political prisoners and detainees in Israeli custody and monitors the conditions of their confinement. Washington claimed that Addameer ("Conscience" in Arabic) "has long supported and is affiliated" with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine. A fiercely anti-Israel Marxist-Leninist group, the PFLP’s armed wing pioneered plane hijackings in the 1970s and has carried out deadly attacks against Israelis. It is proscribed as a terror group by the US, Israel, and the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... The NGO is officially non-partisan and independent, though many of those the group defends have been accused of being tied to the PFLP. Additionally, its former director Khalida Jarrar — who was released from administrative detention in January 2025, as part of a hostage-release, ceasefire, and prisoner-release deal with Hamas — is a prominent PFLP official. Israel, too, has alleged that Addameer funds terrorism, a claim that the United Nations ...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships... previously said it could not support with compelling evidence. Israel’s 2022 storming of Addameer’s offices, after Jerusalem designated it and five other groups as terror organizations, prompted a rebuke from the UN, which said in a statement that Israel had not provided convincing evidence to support the claim. The UN said Addameer was conducting "critical human rights ...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless... , humanitarian and development work in the Occupied Paleostinian Territory." In February, the Zachor Legal Institute, an Israeli-American advocacy group that says it focuses on combating antisemitism and terrorism, requested that Addameer be added to the Treasury’s sanctions list. In a letter, which was signed by 44 other groups and addressed to US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Zachor relied in part on undisclosed evidence from Israeli security sources in its call for sanctions on Addameer. Marc Greendorfer, president of Zachor Legal Institute, said in an email to the News Agency that Dare Not be Named that his group was "very pleased to see Treasury following up on our request." He said the federal government should act "to prevent hostile foreign actors from spreading hate and violence in the United States. We applaud Treasury’s action and encourage Treasury to expand its focus to the other groups that we identified." Other entities hit with sanctions Tuesday include: 1. The Gaza-based charity Al Weam Charitable Society and its leader 2. The Ottoman Turkish charity Filistin Vakfi and its leader 3. El Baraka Association for Charitable and Humanitarian Work and its leader 4. The Netherlands-based Israa Charitable Foundation Netherlands and two employees 5. The Italia-based Associazione Benefica La Cupola d’Oro All five groups, along with the named individuals, intentionally raised money for Hamas’s military wing, though some of their donors were unaware of the terror ties, according to the US Treasury Department. A 2024 report by the Department highlighted how online crowdfunding is increasingly done under the guise of soliciting legitimate charitable donations, making it difficult to identify as terrorist financing. Because the majority of crowdfunding activity is legitimate, "this status can make it more difficult for law enforcement attempting to investigate potential (terrorist financing) cases with a crowdfunding and online fundraising nexus," the report said. The Real Mastermind Behind Greta Thunberg's Gaza Flotilla |
2025-06-11 |
Jewish Voice for Peace, the Freedom Flotilla, the one the Soros foundations invented to replace AIPAC, only nobody was interested — [Townhall] Swedish activist Greta Thunberg’s “Freedom Flotilla,” which attempted to bring aid to Palestinians living in Gaza, is the brainchild of a Hamas-linked figure in the United Kingdom.Palestinian journalist Zaher Birawi reportedly described himself as a “founding member” of the Freedom Flotilla International Coalition, which arranged Thunberg’s ill-fated voyage to the Gaza Strip, according to The Telegraph. Mr Birawi, a Palestinian-British journalist at an Arabic-language satellite TV channel in London, was at the launch of the Madleen a week ago, livestreaming it from its dock in Sicily. Ms Thunberg gave a speech before the boat set sail for Gaza. In 2013, Mr Birawi was designated by Israel as a Hamas operative in Europe and is the head of the Europal Forum, which Israel designated as a terrorist organisation in 2021. The Europal Forum strongly denied any terror links, and in 2021 Mr Birwani received compensation after taking legal action against a financial database, which he said had wrongly placed him on a terrorism watch list. He denied ever being involved in any illegal acts within the scope of terrorism crimes. Speaking in the Commons in October 2023, Christian Wakeford, the Labour MP for Bury South, used parliamentary privilege to name 63-year-old Mr Birawi as a Hamas operative living in Barnet, north London. Birawi “is listed as a trustee of a UK-registered charity, Education Aid for Palestinians, and publicly available video shows him hosting a 2019 event in London titled Understanding Hamas,” Wakeford said. When Hamas massacred Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023, Birawi reportedly referred to the tragedy as a “blessed morning.”
Birawi became involved in Islamist activities after moving to the UK in the early 1990s. He became the chairman of the Muslim Association of Britain, an organization affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, in 2001. The Muslim Brotherhood has been linked to several terrorist organizations. He has been instrumental in the protests against Israel in the UK. While Birawi denies any involvement in terrorist activities, there are several indications that he is deeply tied to Hamas. The Israeli government claims he was a senior Hamas operative in Europe. He has been photographed alongside Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed by Israeli forces last year.

Gaza civil defence reports 10 deaths near aid centre, GHF still delivers 23,000 boxes (each box has 3.5 days of meals for 5.5 people) |

[GEO.TV] The Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... civil defence agency said that 10 people were killed and more than 30 maimed Monday when Israeli troops fired at people trying to enter food distribution centres. The Israeli military acknowledged that it had fired "warning shots" during incidents near food centres. Gaza civil defence agency front man Mahmoud Bassal told AFP that Israeli forces fired "several times" at people at the al-Alam roundabout, close to the GHF distribution centre at Rafah. He said six Paleostinians heading for the aid centre were killed in one incident and four more about eight hours later. The Israeli military told AFP that "several individuals attempted to approach IDF troops operating in the Rafah area, posing a threat to the troops". "IDF troops fired warning shots to distance the individuals. The IDF is aware of reports regarding several individuals injured, the details are under review," a front man added. Bassal said that at another GHF centre south of Gaza city, 31 people were maimed by Israeli gunfire in a separate incident early in the morning. The Israeli military front man said "thousands of Paleostinian civilians attempted to break into the aid distribution center, posing a threat to IDF troops operating in the area of the Netzarim Corridor". "The troops called out to the suspects in an attempt to distance them, but as they continued advancing in a way that endangered the troops, the soldiers responded with warning shots." The view from the Israeli side by the Times of Israel: Witnesses accuse Israel-backed Abu Shabab militia of firing into crowd at Tel Sultan aid facility; IDF says troops destroyed mile-long tunnel in recent operationsGaza Humanitarian Foundation said Monday it was forced to close one of its aid distribution sites due to “chaos,” as Hamas authorities claimed Israeli forces and allied local gunmen fired at Palestinians heading to the facility. The GHF on Monday opened three distribution points — one in Wadi Gaza and two in Rafah’s Tel Sultan — but said it was forced to later close one of the Tel Sultan centers due to the “chaos of the crowds.” A GHF spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for further comment. The Hamas-run health ministry announced that six people were killed. Witnesses told the News Agency that Dare Not be Named that the button men appeared to have been allied with the Israeli military, operating in close proximity to troops and retreating into an Israeli military zone in the southern city of Rafah after the crowd hurled stones at them. Heba Joda, who was in the crowd Monday, said gunfire broke out at a roundabout where previous shootings have occurred, around a kilometer (half a mile) from the aid site. She said the shots came from the "dangerous zone" where Israeli troops and their allies are stationed. She said she saw men from a local militia led by Yasser Abu Shabaab trying to organize the crowds into lines on the road. When people pushed forward, the button men opened fire. People then hurled stones at them, forcing them to withdraw toward the Israeli positions, she said. The Abu Shabaab group, which calls itself the Popular Forces, says it is guarding the surroundings of the GHF centers in southern Gaza. Aid workers say it has a long history of looting UN aid trucks. GHF has said it does not work with the Abu Shabaab group. Defense sources confirmed on Thursday that Israel was arming the group, which has been linked in the past to smuggling operations with Egyptian jihadist groups. Hussein Shamimi, who was also in the crowd, said his 14-year-old cousin was among those killed. "There was an ambush... the Israelis from one side and Abu Shabaab from another," he said. Mohammed Kabaga, a Paleostinian displaced from northern Gaza, said he saw masked men firing toward the crowds after trying to organize them. "They fired at us directly," he said while being treated at Nasser Hospital, in the nearby city of Khan Younis. He had been shot in the neck, as had three other people seen by an AP journalist at the hospital. Kabaga said he saw around 50 masked men with 4×4 vehicles in the area around the roundabout, close to Israeli military lines. "We didn’t receive anything," he said. "They shot us." Nasser Hospital said several men had been shot in the upper body, some in the head. Zaher al-Waheidi, head of the Hamas-run health ministry’s records department, said six people were killed and more than 99 maimed, some of them at another GHF center in central Gaza. The GHF, in a statement released overnight, slammed Hamas’s "explicit threats" against its staff and those who accept the aid it distributes. "At the same time, Hamas endorsed the United Nations ...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense... , an organization it has routinely stolen from, as the only legitimate providers of aid," it said. "The contrast is telling. After delivering over 10 million meals, GHF has built a system that delivers aid directly to the people who actually need it. Despite these threats, we will continue to deliver urgent humanitarian relief with resolve and purpose. "The international community, including the United Nations and other aid groups, must immediately and unequivocally condemn Hamas’s threats against both aid workers and civilians. There is no justification for targeting aid workers or the civilians they serve, or for silence from those who know better. Hamas must understand its actions are unacceptable, and the world is watching," it added. On Sunday, GHF said it delivered 11 trucks’ worth of aid to community leaders for distribution in northern Rafah, as part of a pilot program that will see supplies delivered directly to Gazooks instead of forcing them to walk long distances and cross IDF lines in order to receive aid. The agency has faced heavy scrutiny from other aid bodies, as well as the UN and foreign countries, which say that it does not sufficiently address the humanitarian needs in the war-torn Paleostinian enclave. GHF says it handed out over 23,000 boxes of food at two sites Monday [IsraelTimes] The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation says it distributed over 23,000 boxes of food at two distribution sites today in Rafah and central Gaza. This brings the total boxes delivered since a May 26 launch to 192,480, according to GHF. The US- and Israeli-backed foundation says each box contains meals for 5.5 people for 3.5 days. However, its contents are largely dry food products that require community kitchens or cooking equipment to prepare, which are very scarce in war-ravaged Gaza. A Senator Chris Murphy (Conn) email

Senator Chris Murphy
Last night in the Senate, something really important happened. Republicans forced us to debate their billionaire bailout budget framework. We started voting at 6 PM because they knew doing it in the dark of night would minimize media coverage. And they do not want the American people to see how blatant their handover of our government to the billionaire class is. So I want to explain what happened last night and what we did to fight back. The apex of Republicans’ plan to turn over our government to their wealthy cronies is a giant tax cut for billionaires and corporations. And they plan to pay for it with cuts to programs that working people rely on. Popular and necessary programs like Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP, are all being targeted. In order to pass the tax cut, Republicans have to go through a series of procedural steps. Last night, they took the first step which requires them to pass an outline of their plan, but with it, any senator can offer as many amendments as we want. So my Democratic colleagues and I did just that. Now, we knew that Republicans would largely unanimously oppose them, but we had two objectives here. One, Republicans were forced to put their opinion on record — many for the first time — on the most corrupt parts of Trump and Musk’s agenda. Two, as I’ve been saying, I am going to make every process and procedure as slow and painful as possible for as long as my colleagues choose to ignore the constitutional crisis happening before our eyes. So what did we propose? We proposed no tax cuts for anyone who makes a billion dollars a year. We made them vote on whether or not Elon Musk and DOGE should have limitless access to Americans’ personal data. We made them vote on whether to protect IVF and require insurers to cover it. Every single amendment Democrats proposed was shot down. On almost every single amendment, Republicans universally opposed it. Every Republican voted against our proposal to prevent more tax cuts for billionaires. The corruption and theft is happening in the open here. The whole game for Republicans is taking your money and giving it to the wealthiest corporations and billionaires — even if it means kicking your parents out of a nursing home or turning off Medicaid for the poorest children. They know what they are doing is deeply unpopular. They are offering a tax cut to the most wealthy that is 850 times larger than what they are offering working people. Oh and by the way, any tax cuts for working people are going to be washed out by higher costs for basic necessities, like health care and food. It’s a fundamental injustice. Thanks to your pressure and support, many of my Democratic colleagues have joined my effort to do everything we can to make sure they cannot destroy democracy and steal your money in the dark of the night. We are being loud about what is happening. I’m going to continue to grind the gears of Congress down as much as possible to make it that much harder and slower to get away with this corruption. That’s why the votes lasted until nearly 5 AM. This is a five-alarm fire. I don’t think we have two years to plan and fight back. I think we have months. It’s still in our power to stop the destruction of our democracy with mass mobilization and effective opposition from elected officials. So we can’t miss any opportunity to take advantage of opportunities to put Republicans on the record and shine a light on what is happening. And you have a role to play in this as well. I need you to amplify what’s happening, support the leaders who are fighting for you to make sure they can continue speaking truth to power against Musk and Trump’s billionaire cronies, and show up at rallies and town halls. Use every tool at your disposal to send a message loud and clear about how you expect my colleagues to lead and fight in this moment. Every best wish, US Senator Chris Patrick Murphy

Iran-backed Palestinian terror groups said to leave Syria under pressure from Sharaa |

[IsraelTimes] Flight of pro-Assad factions comes amid Trump’s demand that the new regime crack down on Palestinian terrorism as a condition for sanctions relief Leaders of Iran-backed Paleostinian terror groups in Syria close to former president Bashir Pencilneckal-Assad Leveler of Latakia... have left the country under pressure from the regime of Ahmed al-Sharaa, who led the ouster of the Iran-backed strongman in December, Paleostinian sources said Friday. The armed factions’ flight comes amid a White House demand that Sharaa crack down on Paleostinian terror groups as a condition for the removal of Washington’s sanctions on Damascus. There have also been unconfirmed reports that Syria’s new regime has held indirect talks with Israel on potential normalization between the two countries, despite Israeli leaders’ deep suspicion of Sharaa due to his jihadi past. The crackdown did not appear to affect the Syrian presence of Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The leader of one Iran-backed Paleostinian group, who left Syria after Assad’s overthrow, said on condition of anonymity that "most of the Paleostinian factional leadership that received support from Tehran has left Damascus" to countries including Leb ...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel... . Another faction leader still in Damascus confirmed the development. The first faction leader said "the factions have fully handed over weapons in their headquarters or with their cadres" to the authorities, who also received "lists of names of faction members possessing individual weapons" and demanded that those arms be handed over. A third Paleostinian faction source in Damascus said that after Assad’s overthrow, "we gathered our members’ weapons ourselves and handed them over, but we have kept individual light weapons for protection... with the [authorities’] authorization." In Yarmouk, a Paleostinian refugee camp in the Damascus suburbs that was devastated during Syria’s civil war, factional banners usually displayed at the entrance were gone and party buildings were closed and unguarded, AFP photographers said. Factional premises elsewhere in Damascus also appeared closed. Many Paleostinians fled to Syria in 1948 following the creation of Israel, and from the mid-1960s Syria began hosting the leadership of armed Paleostinian factions. Iran-backed Paleostinian groups enjoyed considerable freedom of movement under Assad. Washington, which designates some of the factions as terrorist organizations, last week announced it was lifting sanctions on Syria. The White House had earlier said the new Syrian regime would have to comply with demands, including suppressing terrorism and preventing "Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. The word Iranis a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGCis the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA).The term Supreme Guideis a the modern version form of either Duceor Führeror maybe both. According to the White House, during a meeting in Saudi Arabia ![]() last week, US President Donald Trump ...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party... gave Sharaa a list of demands that included deporting "Paleostinian terrorists." The Iran-backed Paleostinian factions in Syria, along with other terror groups from Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... , are part of Iran’s so-called Axis of Resistance®, which is openly committed to Israel’s destruction. Some Axis members fought alongside Assad’s forces when civil war erupted in Syria in 2011. In neighboring Lebanon, a government official told AFP that the disarmament of Paleostinian camps, where factions usually handle security, would begin next month based on an accord with visiting Paleostinian Authority President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas ...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase.... ’UNWELCOME’ The Iran-backed Paleostinian groups in Syria "did not receive any official request from the authorities to leave Syrian territory" but instead faced restrictions, the first faction leader told AFP. Some factions "were de facto prohibited from operating," or their members were arrested, he said, adding that the new authorities have seized property from "private homes, offices, vehicles and military training camps in the Damascus countryside and other provinces." Syrian authorities did not immediately provide a comment to AFP when asked about the matter. Earlier this month, officials from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine-General Command (PFLP-GC) said Syrian authorities briefly detained factional chief Talal Naji. In April, Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... said Syrian official Khaled Khaled and organizing committee member Yasser al-Zafri were tossed into the calaboose "without explanation." A source from the group told AFP on Friday that they were still detained. The second Paleostinian faction leader, from a group that has remained in Damascus with limited representation, said there was "no cooperation between most of the Paleostinian factions and the new Syrian administration." "The response to our contact is mostly cold or delayed. We feel like unwelcome guests, though they don’t say that clearly," he added, also requesting anonymity. A Hamas official in Gaza told AFP that it had "channels of communication with our brothers in Syria." Hamas has minimal representation in Syria, having left the country after the civil war there began. Hamas’s ties with the Assad regime had deteriorated amid the terror group’s support for opposition demands. Yarmouk camp resident Marwan Mnawar, a retiree, said that "nobody knows what happened to the factional leadership," adding that "people just want to live, they are exhausted" by the conflict and factional infighting. |
