Trump administration fires 17 immigration court judges across ten states
2025-07-16
[APNEWS] Seventeen immigration court judges have been fired in recent days, according to the union that represents them, as the Trump administration pushes forward with its mass deportations of immigrants colonists in the country.

The International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, which represents immigration court judges as well as other professionals, said in a news release that 15 judges were fired ''without cause'' on Friday and another two on Monday. The union said they were working in courts in 10 different states across the country — Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Texas, Utah and Virginia.

''It's outrageous and against the public interest that at the same time Congress has authorized 800 immigration judges, we are firing large numbers of immigration judges without cause,'' said the union's President Matt Biggs. ''This is nonsensical. The answer is to stop firing and start hiring.''

Firings come with courts at the center of administration efforts

The firings come as the courts have been increasingly at the center of the Trump administration's hardline immigration enforcement efforts with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arresting immigrants colonists as they appear at court for proceedings.

A spokeswoman for the Executive Office of Immigration Review, which is the part of the Justice Department that oversees the courts, said in an email that the office would not comment on the firings.

The large-scale arrests began in May and have unleashed fear among asylum-seekers and immigrants colonists appearing in court. In what has become a familiar scene, a judge will grant a government lawyer's request to dismiss deportation proceedings against an immigrant. Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, Butch cautiously raised his hat over the edge of the horse trough on the end of a stick......
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers are waiting in the hallway to arrest the person and put them on a fast track to deportation as soon as he or she leaves the courtroom.

Soros machine hands Mamdani millions for his socialist quest for control of New York City - American Thinker
2025-07-16
[AMERICANTHINKER] Investigative reporter Paul Sperry has uncovered an interesting fact about leftist mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani:

BREAKING: Alex Soros has funneled $24 mil to the NYC mayoral campaign of Muslim Zohran Mamdani thru his fundraising arm Working Families, which means Soros' wife HUMA ABEDIN,whose parents are Muslim Brotherhood, "will control the mayor of NY," a lawyer investigating Abedin told me
— Paul Sperry (@paulsperry_) July 12, 2025

The New York Post reported something similar:

Socialist Zohran Mamdani has declared billionaires shouldn't exist, but it's unlikely he'd be the front-runner to become the Big Apple's next mayor if it wasn't for one — far-left kingmaker George Soros, financial records reviewed by The Post show.
...
... in less than a decade, Soros' ultra-woke grant-making network Open Society Foundation has indirectly funneled a combined $37 million to the Working Families Party and at least other nine left-wing groups whose endorsements and get-out-the-vote groundwork played a pivotal role in helping Mamdani upset ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic mayoral primary, the foundation's records show.

So this freak is no maverick. He's not a fresh face, an independent voice, a new political concept. He's a creature of the tired old Soros project, a pawn, a foot soldier in the great Soros quest to dismantle rule of law and create chaos, just as the Soros catspaws have done in virtually all blue cities where Soros-backed district attorneys no longer prosecute crime, and in blue states where Soros-backed secretaries of states preside over elections filled with fraud and long, long delays in counting.

Now the Soros plan is to take mayoralties, the better to finish off cities in ways district attorneys and secretaries of state cannot.

Yet they present this boob as an independent. He's a puppet on some strings.

The New York Post notes the irony of Soros backing a candidate who professes to want no billionaires to exist. But billionaires can always escape the consequences of such demagogues, free as they are to park and move money around the globe. It's always the little guy who takes the consequences of this doggerel against 'the rich' as any Venezuelan can tell you. Under communist regimes, the billionaires exist just fine -- as the nomenklatura ruling the government or else the rootless globalist class of the Klaus Schwab variety.

Sperry notes the additional detail that Huma Abedin, who must be viewing control of the New York City mayor's office with irony given that she almost had it when she was married to Anthony Weiner, and now sees it within reach again, has ties to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, as does Mamdani himself. That's an ugly twist, if not the center of the plot.

National security experts raise concerns after Microsoft program exposed as possible avenue for Chinese spying
2025-07-16
[FoxNews] Microsoft defends security after report flags China-based insider risks: 'Asking the fox to guard the henhouse'

A new ProPublica report accused Microsoft of allowing China-based engineers to assist with Pentagon cloud systems with inadequate guardrails in an effort to scale up its government contracting business, raising espionage concerns from national security experts.

The report cited current and former employees and government contractors who worked on a cloud computing program deployed by Microsoft in 2016 that would allow the tech giant to sell its cloud services to the government, known as a "digital escort" framework.

The security measure, meant to meet federal contracting regulations, was effectively a program that included a "digital escort" chaperone for global cybersecurity officials, such as those based in China, so they can work on agency computing systems.

Defense Department guidelines require that people handling sensitive data be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

According to sources who spoke to ProPublica, including some who had intimate familiarity with the hiring process for the $18-per-hour "digital escort" position, the tech employees being hired to do the supervising lacked the adequate tech expertise to prevent a rogue Chinese employee from hacking the system or turning over classified information to the CCP.

The sources elaborated that the escorts, often former military personnel, were hired for their security clearances more than their technical abilities and often lacked the skills to evaluate code being used by the engineers they were supervising.

In China, people are governed by sweeping laws compelling government cooperation with data collection efforts.

"If ProPublica’s report turns out to be true, Microsoft has created a national embarrassment that endangers our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. Heads should roll, those responsible should go to prison and Congress should hold extensive investigations to uncover the full extent of potential compromise," said Michael Lucci, the CEO and founder of State Armor Action, a conservative group with a mission to develop and enact state-level solutions to global security threats.

"Microsoft or any vendor providing China with access to Pentagon secrets verges on treasonous behavior and should be treated as such."

"This is like asking the fox to guard the henhouse and arming the chickens with sticks in case the fox gets mad," Michael Sobolik, a Hudson Institute foreign policy senior fellow, added. "It beggars belief."

Microsoft uses its escort system to handle sensitive government information that falls below "classified," which includes "data that involves the protection of life and financial ruin," ProPublica reported. At the Defense Department, the data is categorized as "Impact Level" four and five, which ProPublica reported includes materials directly supporting military operations.

A Microsoft spokesperson defended the company's "digital escort" model, saying all personnel and contractors with privileged access must pass federally approved background checks.

"For some technical requests, Microsoft engages our team of global subject matter experts to provide support through authorized U.S. personnel, consistent with U.S. government requirements and processes," the spokesperson added. "In these instances, global support personnel have no direct access to customer data or customer systems."

US university heads grilled in Congress about anti-Israel terror support on campus
2025-07-16
[IsraelTimes] Leaders of City University of New York, Georgetown and Berkeley hauled before lawmakers; protesters repeatedly interrupt proceedings with shouts of ‘genocide’

Members of the US Congress grilled the leaders of three universities during a hearing in Washington, DC, on Tuesday — part of a broad Republican-led crackdown on campus antisemitism.

The House Committee on Education and the Workforce pressed the leaders of the City University of New York (CUNY), Georgetown University, and the University of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, Berkeley, about support for terrorism on their campuses, anti-Israel faculty and discrimination against Jews.

The committee has held a series of hearings on campus antisemitism since the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
war started, including a 2023 hearing that led to the resignations of Claudine Gay from Harvard and Liz Magill from the University of Pennsylvania, after they dithered about campus policies regarding calls for the genocide of Jews. Tuesday’s hearing did not see any breakout moments like the Ivy League discussions, and the three university leaders did not appear to make any significant gaffes.

Some of the incidents brought up at the three-hour hearing, titled "Antisemitism in Higher Education: Examining the Role of Faculty, Funding, and Ideology," included a CUNY professor who backed Paleostinian "resistance by any means necessary," a Berkeley instructor who said he "could have been one of those who broke through the siege on October 7," and Jewish students at CUNY who were mocked over the fate of Israeli hostages held in Gaza.

The university leaders largely condemned violent mostly peaceful and antisemitic rhetoric, vowed to protect Jews, and refrained from discussing individual cases on their campuses.

The university leaders — Félix V. Matos Rodríguez, the chancellor of the City University of New York; Robert M. Groves, the interim president of Washington, DC’s Georgetown University; and Rich Lyons, the chancellor of the University of California, Berkeley — all defined antisemitism as hatred or discrimination against Jews, and said it was antisemitic to deny Jews the right to self-determination.

Rodríguez, under questioning, said that CUNY received 68 complaints of antisemitism in 2024, and 16 since the start of 2025. He said CUNY has disciplined 18 students for antisemitism and 25 for inappropriate conduct during protests in the past two years.

Asked if CUNY has antisemitic faculty, Rodríguez said, "We have faculty that might conduct themselves in antisemitic behavior and we have no tolerance for it."

He rejected the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaign targeting Israel when asked about support for BDS among the CUNY faculty union. The union operates independently from the CUNY administration and has been accused of discrimination by Jewish members.

"I have repudiated BDS and I have said that there’s no place for BDS at the City University of New York," Rodríguez said. BDS is barred under New York State law.

He refrained from confirming whether union members have been disciplined for antisemitism, if the union president’s support for BDS was problematic, or if the union had an antisemitism problem.

The public CUNY system is the largest urban college network in the US, with more than 250,00 students on dozens of campuses around the five boroughs. The system has long grappled with allegations of campus antisemitism and has taken some measures to combat anti-Jewish discrimination. CUNY’s different campuses operate semi-independently, making system-wide changes difficult to enact.

New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, a Republican, pressed Rodríguez over protesters who taunted Jewish students at Baruch College, part of CUNY.

"Where’s Hersh?" the protesters said to the Jews, referring to hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was murdered in captivity shortly before the protest.

"Go bring them home. Go back to Brooklyn. All Zionists are terrorists," the protesters said, according to Stefanik.

"Those are deplorable statements, and if they’re associated with the event at Baruch, an investigation was done," Rodríguez said. Some CUNY protests take place on public property next to campuses, where CUNY does not have jurisdiction, making enforcement difficult. Rodríguez also said he believed a professor who had said "down with Zionist scum" was no longer employed. He did not confirm if other professors who made antisemitic comments had been disciplined.

Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
at the hearing argued the proceedings were part of a Republican crackdown on free speech and academia, and attacked the Trump administration for cutting resources to the Department of Education office that investigates discrimination.

Anti-Israel protesters interrupted the hearings at least four times.

As Rodríguez spoke, a protester shouted, "Blood on your hands," and, "You are a genocidal war criminal."

Lyons was interrupted by a protester shouting, "You’re complicit in the genocide of Paleostinians," and in another outburst, a protester yelled, "Israel is burning children alive." The activists were quickly ejected from the hearing.

Rep. Randy Fine, a Republican from Florida, told the final protester, "Get out of here, you loser."

"I hold you all responsible for this," Fine told the university leaders. "It is that attitude that you have allowed on your campuses that makes people think this is okay."

Lyons was asked about Georgetown’s relationship with La Belle Francesca Albanese, a United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
rapporteur for the Paleostinians with a history of antisemitism who was sanctioned this week by the Trump administration. Lyons said Albanese is an affiliated scholar with Georgetown, but is not on the university payroll or present on campus.

Lyons acknowledged that the professor’s statement about breaking the "siege" on October 7 was "a celebration of the terrorist attack," but defended an award for the instructor, calling him "a fine scholar."

Lyons also refused to commit to transparency on foreign donations from states like Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
. Groves, from Georgetown, did commit to transparency for foreign funding.

Groves also said that Jonathan Brown, a professor who last month said he hoped Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
would strike a US military base, had been placed on leave and was no longer the head of Georgetown’s Department of Arabic and Islamic studies.

Gavin Newsom Taunts Texas on Redistricting, but Can't Deliver on Threat
2025-07-15
[Breitbart] California Gov. Gavin Newsom taunted Texas over redrawing its congressional districts, suggesting he would retaliate — though California, with an independent redistricting commission, has no legal way of doing so.

Last week, Newsom posted a clip of an interview on X in which he said that California “is watching — and you can bet we won’t stand idly by” as Texas redrew congressional districts in a special session of the legislature.

Newsom failed to note that redistricting is only one of 18 items on the agenda for the special session; that the state was responding to a U.S. Department of Justice demand that it redraw the districts, because they were allegedly drawn in an unconstitutional manner; and that the Texas legislature does not meet year-round.

“These guys — they’re not fucking around,” Newsom said, claiming that he was trying to “raise the bar of bipartisanship in California,” while noting that his state had an independent redistricting commission.

In his post on X, Newsom hinted that California might find a way to respond to the redistricting in Texas.

However, as the San Francisco Chronicle explained, Newsom does not have the power to retaliate:

California’s laws constrain Newsom from responding in kind to any efforts in Texas to redraw maps to favor Republicans. Voters in California took that power from the state Legislature in 2008 and handed it to an independent redistricting commission, which draws the lines for California’s congressional and state legislative districts. Though Newsom is correct that Democrats dominate the Legislature, they do not dominate the redistricting commission. By law, the commission comprises five Democrats, five Republicans and four commissioners not affiliated with either party.

Sara Sadhwani, a politics professor at Pomona College who serves as one of the Democratic commissioners, said the governor doesn’t have any power over the commission’s activities and can’t force it to draw new maps in Democrats’ favor.

“In this national context, I can understand the governor’s inclination to want to retaliate,” she said. “However the people of California have made it clear at the ballot that the governor does not have that power.”

It is possible that Newsom may have been thinking of the way in which Democrats have gamed the nominally “independent” commission to make California districts more favorable to Democrats. The left-leaning news outlet ProPublica documented how Democrats “fooled” the commission by organizing local groups to testify about district boundaries who did not actually represent communities, but were working for the party.

Newsom may have given the game away, telling the truth about the “independent” commission.

Still, he lacks the power, legally to do anything about what Texas does to redraw its districts.

As for “raising the bar of bipartisanship,” Democrats recently stripped key Republicans of their committee posts in the state legislature.

California also opposes excluding illegal migrants from the Census, because then it would lose more congressional seats than it already has in recent years due to slow growth relative to states like Texas.

Dr. Fauci referred to top prosecutor for criminal charges after bombshell Biden autopen pardon revelation
2025-07-15
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Republican Rand Paul is redoubling his efforts in his investigation into the man who led America's COVID-19 response, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The Kentucky senator, who has grilled Fauci about the pandemic since 2021, is demanding that he be criminally prosecuted for lying to Congress in light of new shocking details about his presidential pardon.

Fauci was granted a preemptive pardon by ex-President Joe Biden as he left office, which could shield him from some consequences related to the pandemic.

But Biden admitted the pardon was signed by autopen, and not himself, raising questions about his mental state as he issued the sweeping relief for Fauci.

'If the President didn’t authorize this pardon personally, then the Department has a duty to investigate and prosecute as it would any ordinary citizen,' Paul wrote in a post on X made Monday afternoon, announcing his latest legal move against Fauci.

Paul told the Daily Mail last month that he was preparing to subpoena Fauci as part of an expanded Senate investigation into the origins of Covid-19 and US-funded research in Wuhan, China.

The goal: scrutinize Fauci's role in approving controversial virus experiments.

Paul announced earlier on Monday that he would 'reissue [his] criminal referral of Anthony Fauci to Trump DOJ!'

Three members of UN commission investigating Israel resign amid Trump crackdown
2025-07-15
[IsraelTimes] Resignations, including of former UN rights chief, come as the US imposes sanctions on international anti-Israel investigators

The three members of a United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
commission tasked with investigating Israel quietly resigned earlier this month.

Navi Pillay, Chris Sidoti, and Miloon Kothari, who made up the UN’s Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Paleostinian Territory, submitted their resignation letters to the president of the UN’s Human Rights Council. The letters surfaced on Monday.

Pillay, 83, the commission’s chair, said she was resigning "owing to age, medical issues and the weight of several other commitments" on July 8.

Sidoti resigned a day later, saying Pillay’s retirement was "an appropriate time to re-constitute the commission," and Kothari said the group had reached an "understanding" during the previous week.

The letters were posted on a back-end Human Rights Council website and first publicized by UN Watch, a nonprofit monitoring group.

The commission will continue to exist once it appoints new members. Jurg Lauber, the head of the UN’s Human Rights Council, asked the council’s member states to propose new members by August 31.

The commission released periodic reports on the Israel-Paleostinian conflict that overwhelmingly blamed Israel. The commission’s most recent report was released in May.

Pillay, a South African jurist, was the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2008 to 2014, during which time she frequently criticized Israel’s actions in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks.
She chaired the commission of inquiry, which Jewish groups, Israel, the US and other countries have condemned for its alleged bias. It is the council’s first open-ended commission of inquiry, the UNHRC’s highest level of investigation.

The commission overwhelmingly blames Israel for the conflict and accuses the Jewish state of other misdeeds, such as stealing natural resources.

Kothari caused a firestorm of controversy in 2022 when he said that social media was "controlled largely by the Jewish lobby," espousing a common antisemitic trope, and questioned why Israel was allowed in the UN. Pillay defended Kothari’s comments.

Pillay has dismissed antisemitism concerns as a "diversion" and "lies," and called Israeli security concerns "a fiction."

In 2014, over 100 members of Congress signed a letter to Pillay decrying the UNHRC’s bias against Israel under her leadership, saying the council "simply cannot be taken seriously as a human rights
When they're defined by the state or an NGO they don't mean much...
organization" while it was probing Israel, but not Hamas
..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
The commission’s members resigned as the Trump administration cracks down on international Sherlocks into Israel.

In February, the US slapped wide-ranging sanctions on International Criminal Court chief prosecutor Karim Khan over his decision to file arrest warrants against Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant. The court works closely with the UN.

Khan’s US-based assets were frozen and he was barred from entering the country. He lost access to his email, his bank accounts were frozen and his American staffers were told they were at risk of arrest if they were to enter the US, The News Agency that Dare Not be Named reported in May.

Earlier this month, the US imposed sanctions against UN rapporteur for Paleostinian rights La Belle Francesca Albanese, a harsh critic of Israel with a history of antisemitism. Like Kothari, Albanese has inveighed against the "Jewish lobby."

The commission’s opponents celebrated the trio’s departure.

"First, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio
...The diminutive 13-year-old Republican U.S. Senator from Florida, Secretary of State in the second Trump administration...
made the historic decision to sanction La Belle Francesca Albanese," said Hillel Neuer, the head of UN Watch. "Now the architects of the UN’s anti-Israel inquisition are fleeing the ship. The tide is turning."

Anne Bayefsky, the head of the Touro Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust and the nonprofit Human Rights Voices, said Pillay "has spent almost twenty years championing antisemitic causes from the highest of UN jobs."

Both the UN General Assembly and the Human Rights Council condemn Israel more than any other country every year.

Supreme Court just ruled that President Trump can proceed with mass firings at the Department of Education
2025-07-15
[X]Whee! Go team!!

Courtesy of Skidmart, Breitbart has the details:
Supreme Court Allows Trump's Education Department to Resume Layoffs

The Supreme Court issued a 6-3 ruling on Monday allowing President Donald Trump’s Department of Education to resume efforts to slash its workforce in half.

The decision reverses a lower court ruling ordering the reinstatement of Department of Education employees cut loose in mass layoffs, and ultimately allows Education Secretary Linda McMahon to continue her mission of winding down the department.

The Department of Education announced in March that it was reducing its workforce by half in an effort to streamline the department and cut down on unnecessary bureaucracy.

Before the cuts, the Department of Education had 4,133 total staff, a number senior department officials said “exist[ed] largely to oversee contractors, add strings, and in many cases do duplicative efforts across the department.” Senior department officials said at the time the cuts would not impact student aid, the rollout of FAFSA by October 1, funding for special-needs students, Civil Rights investigations, and other functions statutorily mandated by Congress.

U.S. District Judge Myong Joun blocked the department’s downsizing effort in May, ruling that the administration needed congressional authorization. Joun ordered the department to reinstate approximately 1,400 workers who had been terminated.

The majority did not issue an opinion to accompany the order, which is not out of the ordinary. However, the court’s three liberal-leaning justices dissented, decrying the ruling as “indefensible.”

“It hands the Executive the power to repeal statutes by firing all those necessary to carry them out. The majority is either willfully blind to the implications of its ruling or naive, but either way the threat to our Constitution’s separation of powers is grave,” penned Justice Sonia Sotomayor, joined by Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Lawsuit Incoming: AOC Directly Calls Trump A ‘Rapist’
2025-07-14
[ZeroHedge] Marxist Democrat Alexandra Ocasio Cortez could face a libel lawsuit and be liable for millions of dollars after directly branding President Trump a “rapist” in a X post.

Continuing the trend of Democrats suddenly caring about the Jeffrey Epstein case after four years in power doing nothing, AOC wrote the following…

“Wow who would have thought that electing a rapist would have complicated the release of the Epstein Files?”

Wow indeed.

The last time someone branded Trump a “rapist,” he sued them and settled for $15 million plus a million more in legal costs.

In that case, anchor George Stephanopulous, who claimed Trump was convicted of rape during a broadcast, had backing from ABC News.

She’s used to slandering anyone she likes in Congress.

None of them really care about transparency in the Epstein case and never have.

Its just more rampant TDS.

AOC could find herself visiting court fairly regularly in the near future.

Tom Homan, serving as Border Czar in the Trump administration, recently confirmed that AOC is under federal investigation for allegedly employing an undocumented immigrant on her congressional staff, raising questions about potential violations of immigration laws amid their ongoing public disputes over enforcement policies.

FBI opens 'grand conspiracy' probe on weaponization, opening door to special prosecutor
2025-07-15
How exciting— happy hunting, guys!
[JustTheNews] The FBI has quietly launched an investigation into a decade of Democratic party and deep-state antics from Russia collusion to Jack Smith, opening the door for the appointment of a special prosecutor to examine whether the well-documented episodes amount to a criminal conspiracy to meddle in three U.S. elections to the benefit of Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
and the detriment of President Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
, Just the News has learned.

The "grand conspiracy" case was opened several weeks ago after new FBI Director Kash Patel took over, and it could get a significant boost if Trump were to declassify two secret tranches of evidence that identify a potential ignition point to the alleged conspiracy in the summer of 2016, according to several people directly familiar with the inquiry, who spoke to Just the News on a condition of anonymity.

The first piece of evidence is a classified annex to a years-old inspector general probe of Crooked Hillary Clinton
...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do...
’s improper email server sought by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley. That annex is believed to show that credible information about possible wrongdoing was intentionally ignored by the FBI.

The second tranche of evidence was identified by former Russiagate Special Counsel John Durham in his final report. The evidence was dubbed in the report as the "Clinton plan intelligence," and it was also placed in a classified annex kept from the American public and even many members of Congress.

Excerpts from the publicly-available and unclassified Durham report show that U.S. spy agencies were aware that Clinton’s 2016 campaign was concocting a bogus Russia collusion narrative to harm Trump’s election chances before the FBI opened its now-discredited Crossfire Hurricane probe, in part using evidence created by the Clinton campaign or offered by Clinton associates.

Both pieces of evidence have remained sealed from public view for nearly a decade and are highly classified because they reveal sensitive intelligence-gathering methods, officials said.

The FBI declined comment.

Report: ICE Arrests 30K Illegals in June, the Most in at Least Half a Decade
2025-07-14
[BREITBART] Some 30,000 illegal aliens were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in June, the most illegals arrested by the agency in at least half a decade, when monthly figures were first made public, a new report states.

The ICE data, obtained by NBC News, found that in June, about 30,000 illegal aliens were arrested by ICE. This is a slight uptick from May, when about 24,000 illegal aliens were arrested by ICE.

The report from NBC News also includes removal and deportation figures, but does not distinguish between the two.

According to the ICE data, more than 18,000 illegal aliens were either deported by ICE agents from the interior of the United States or returned to their home countries by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents while attempting to cross into the United States.

The number of all-important deportations from the interior of the United States is still unknown, as DHS officials say more than 253,000 illegal aliens have been either removed or deported — also not distinguishing between ICE deportations and CBP removals.

ICE agents, thanks to the Trump administration, will get a huge funding boost now that Congress approved the Big Beautiful Bill, which includes $45 billion for more detention space for illegal aliens and nearly $30 billion for ICE to hire more deportation agents.

Acting Columbia U. president apologizes for calling to remove Jewish board member after Oct. 7, replace with someone from Middle East
[IsraelTimes] Acting Columbia University President Claire Shipman apologizes for calling to remove a Jewish university board member amid campus turmoil following the October 2023 invasion of Israel.

The Congressional Committee on Education and the Workforce exposed texts from Shipman yesterday.
Hot Air points out that Columbia’s accreditation is at risk because of this. Separately, last week the university system was hacked, with the hacker announcing he(?) was looking for evidence that the school was using race to determine admissions. And finally — and this is just a schadenfreude item — Columbia will pay out about $9 million to settle a lawsuit after they were caught inflating data they submitted to the US News & World Report “Best Colleges” list to move up from #10 to #2. The recheck dropped them down to #18.

Mr. Sussman is now lead plaintiff in a lawsuit against MIT. Commentary from Hot Air here.

New York’s Barnard College settles antisemitism lawsuit filed by Jewish students
Barnard College in New York City, an affiliate of Columbia University, agreed to take measures to combat antisemitism in a lawsuit settlement with Jewish students, a law firm representing the students said on Monday.

The US lawsuit was filed last year against the trustees of Columbia and Barnard in the federal Southern District court of New York. It argued that Columbia and Barnard failed to protect Israeli and Jewish students and enforce university policies against protesters as anti-Israel activists riled the campuses after the October 2023 Hamas invasion and onslaught.

The plaintiffs claimed that the harassment of Jews violated the federal Title VI Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bars discrimination at federally funded institutions. The law is widely used by pro-Israel advocates against universities that receive federal funding, like Columbia and Barnard.

Barnard is a women’s liberal arts college affiliated with Columbia. The two schools operate separately, but are deeply intertwined and located next to each other in Manhattan. The anti-Israel student activist group leading the protests, Columbia University Apartheid Divest, is active on both campuses. Most of the student plaintiffs were students at Columbia.

The lawsuit said students had been harassed with language like “Fuck the Jews” and were laughed at by professors while counter-protesting on campus. Some of the students suffered “immense stress” due to their treatment that interfered with their studies. Some dropped classes or attended remotely, and others avoided classes taught by professors active in anti-Israel protests.

The student plaintiffs were backed by the advocacy groups Students Against Antisemitism and the StandWithUs Center for Legal Justice, and represented by the Kasowitz LLP law firm.

Israeli postdoc sues Stanford for discrimination; university denies it
Researcher says lab tampered with his findings, falsely accused him of sexual harassment; Stanford says investigation found claims ‘unsubstantiated’. The lawsuit, filed in a federal California court, said a lab at Stanford had falsely accused Dr. Shay Laps of sexual harassment, tampered with his research, and forced him out of his position, due to his Israeli and Jewish identity. The university said the charges had been investigated and were unfounded.

Laps enrolled at Stanford as a post-doctoral student in the spring of 2024 to work on a diabetes treatment. When he arrived, a lab staffer connected to anti-Israel campus activists told Laps not to speak with her in person, refused him a seat with other colleagues at lunch, and told friends to ostracize him in common areas. Laps was the only Israeli in the lab and the staffer treated her other colleagues respectfully. When another researcher asked Laps where he was from, and Laps said he was from Israel, the other researcher turned his back and never spoke to him again, the lawsuit said.

Part of the staffer’s role was to order research materials for Laps, but she was hostile or noncooperative, hampering Laps’s work. The staffer later tampered with Laps’s research results by introducing insulin to compounds he was testing for diabetes treatments, and later asked him to destroy the irregular samples, potentially setting him up for allegations of fraud, the lawsuit alleged. The leader of the lab later said the issues with the staffer were minor errors, although the alleged tampering was not investigated, the lawsuit said.

Laps approached his lab leader about the problems, who told Laps he was under investigation for sexual harassment by the university’s Title IX office, that his research appointment could be ended, warned he could lose his visa, and encouraged him to “resign quietly.” Laps contacted the Title IX office, which told him there was no investigation and that he was in good standing.

The lawsuit said that members of the lab knew Laps was Jewish and Israeli, that all other members were not subjected to hostile treatment, and that the staffer giving him problems was part of an anti-Israel activist social circle. The issues also took place within a broader campus context of anti-Israel activism and antisemitism. The lawsuit did not include instances of antisemitic or anti-Israel rhetoric directed at Laps, though.

Laps made formal complaints, saying he was being discriminated against. The university probe said that Laps was not “discriminated against because he was Jewish or Israeli,” although the lawsuit said the investigation was thin.

Laps was eventually removed from the lab, had a research grant revoked, and was forced to leave the country due to visa issues, causing severe damage to his career and reputation, the lawsuit said.

The lawsuit argued that the hostility toward Laps was part of a broader trend of antisemitism and discrimination against Israelis on the campus. A May 2024 internal report found that such discrimination was widespread and charged the university with a “failure to respond to the rising wave of antisemitism.” The lawsuit said Laps was in contact with other Israelis on campus who reported similar treatment.

The lawsuit seeks damages, including unpaid wages, a declaration that the lab defamed Laps, and an injunction preventing Stanford from discriminating against Jews or Israelis, among other measures.

Laps was backed by The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, a nonprofit that uses legal means to advance Jewish civil rights. The center and other Jewish groups have regularly filed lawsuits against universities and other entities for alleged discrimination.

Pro-Palestinian activists spray paint UW regents’ homes, accuse them of ‘genocide’
[CollegeFix] Pro-Palestinian activists vandalized the homes of at least four Universities of Wisconsin Board of Regents members Friday, accusing them of “genocide.”

At two of the homes, the vandals spray-painted messages reading “Regents are complicit in genocide” and “UW blood on your hands” on the driveways, Madison police Sgt. Matthew Baker said, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

Baker also said the protesters splattered artificial blood on some of the properties and posted letters with a set of demands on the doors.

Further, they used air horns and left them on the properties. A neighbor to one of the regents was awoken at 3:40 a.m. by an air horn.

Ring camera footage from one home showed six people wearing all black arriving on bicycles. Police are analyzing the footage to determine where the protesters came from.

“They were probably masked and hiding their identities. But oftentimes we can trace that video back to a meetup location or a gas station, even where they would buy the spray paint or something,” Baker said.

Nation’s Largest Teachers’ Union Moves to Cut Ties with the ADL over Group’s Defense of Israel
[NationalReview] The National Education Association’s policymaking body voted this week to cut all ties with the Anti-Defamation League over the antisemitism watchdog’s defense of Israel.

The 7,000-member policymaking committee approved New Business Item 39, which says the nation’s largest labor union in the U.S. “will not use, endorse or publicize materials from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), such as its curricular materials or statistics.”

The committee explained its decision by saying, “Despite its reputation as a civil rights organization, the ADL is not the social justice educational partner it claims to be.”
The New Business Item must receive final approval from the NEA executive committee. If passed, the measure would end a nearly 40-year relationship between the ADL and U.S. schools that has involved curriculum, programming and teacher training.

“With antisemitism at record high levels, it is profoundly disturbing that a group of NEA activists would brazenly attempt to further isolate their Jewish colleagues and push a radical, antisemitic agenda on students,” an ADL spokesperson told National Review.

“We will not be cowed for supporting Israel, and we will not be deterred from our work reaching millions of students with educational programs every year,” the spokesperson added. “It is our understanding there’s an internal NEA process that deals with issues like this and it is far from a completed process. We will continue to call out this antisemitism and prioritize our Jewish students and educators.”

Union delegates who spoke on the Assembly floor “rejected the ADL’s abuse of the term ‘antisemitism’ to punish critics of Israel, and its use of hyperinflated statistics on hate crimes to gin up fears about Jewish safety and paint calls for Palestinian rights as ‘hate speech,’” according to Mondoweiss.

“These are educators who believe in antiracist and social justice unionism. They’re beginning to understand Palestine in that context. They’re intolerant of the justification of violence,” one NEA member said, according to the report.
