CCP-Linked Billionaire Neville Singham ‘Literally Hiding' from Congress, Faces Asset Freeze Push
2025-07-10
[Breitbart] Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is escalating efforts to hold billionaire Neville Roy Singham accountable, urging the State and Treasury Departments to freeze his assets and visa as he evades a congressional investigation into his alleged ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and far-left extremist groups.
Neville Roy Singham is married to Jodie Evans, who is a co-founder of the women's anti-war activist organization Code Pink
Luna announced the move in a post on X, claiming that Singham is refusing to respond to the committee’s letter. “Neville Singham—the billionaire communist with ties to the CCP, who funded the LA riots and used immigration & Mexicans as a Trojan horse for communism—is hiding from our letter requesting testimony,” she wrote. “Therefore, if he decides to hide in CHINA, we will now be asking the State Dept. and Treasury to freeze his assets/visa.”

Luna’s latest warning follows a June 13 letter from the House Oversight Committee to Singham requesting documents and testimony related to his alleged funding of extremist groups including the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), the People’s Forum, and the ANSWER Coalition, all of which are accused of promoting civil unrest and echoing Chinese government propaganda. Every Republican member of the committee signed on to the inquiry.

While Senate Republicans, including Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham, sounded the alarm on Singham’s activities last year, the Biden administration did not act. Luna has sharply criticized that inaction, contrasting it with President Trump’s deployment of federal forces to respond to the unrest in Los Angeles. She has described Neville Singham as a Marxist and George Soros as a globalist, arguing that both are working to destabilize the West and undermine Trump’s efforts

The committee warned that Singham’s actions may violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and other federal laws, particularly if he is acting “at the behest of a foreign principal” to influence American public opinion or policy.

“Reportedly, you have supported these groups with the aim of causing destruction and division in our country,” the letter to Singham stated. It cited recent riots and violence in Los Angeles, which the committee said prompted President Trump to deploy the National Guard.

According to the committee, Singham’s support for far-left groups extends back decades and includes millions of dollars funneled through dark money nonprofits with virtually no public footprints. Nonprofit filings show nearly $1.8 million flowed from entities the committee identifies as part of Singham’s network to Maku Group, a Chinese media company whose offices prominently display a banner reading “Always Follow the Party” beneath an image of CCP General Secretary Xi Jinping.

The letter also cites reporting from the New York Times, which found Singham resides in the People’s Republic of China and has supported groups that “mix progressive advocacy with Chinese government talking points.” In 2019, he reportedly launched a consulting firm with Chinese partners “active in the propaganda apparatus” of the CCP.

The Oversight Committee’s letter warns that Singham’s suspected funding of the PSL and affiliated groups may be part of a broader CCP strategy known as the “Strategy of Sowing Discord,” a long-documented tactic of provoking internal strife within foreign adversaries. The letter underscores that if Singham is carrying out such a campaign on behalf of Beijing, he may be required to register under FARA.

Singham’s influence reportedly extends to groups tied to radical antisemitic movements, including Shut It Down for Palestine (SID4P), which was formed in 2023. According to the Network Contagion Research Institute, “Conveners” operating under the SID4P umbrella are listed as part of Singham’s donor portfolio. The House Oversight Committee noted that some of these organizations have ties to U.S.-designated foreign terrorist groups, such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

One such SID4P “endorser,” Samidoun, has been identified in open-source reporting as a front for the PFLP. The Oversight Committee is now seeking a briefing from Attorney General Pam Bondi on whether organizations funded by Singham may have violated FARA or acted on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party in connection with the recent unrest in Los Angeles.

In a separate letter to Bondi, the Committee listed nineteen groups under investigation for potential ties to Singham and the CCP, including Code Pink, the People’s Forum, Dongsheng News, BreakThrough Media, and the National Students for Justice in Palestine.

The House Oversight Committee, under its authority in House Rule X, continues to demand full compliance from Singham and is working to ensure the American people are informed about foreign influence operations that threaten national security.

Incoming Riots Or Just July 4 Prep? White House, Treasury Lined By Anti-Scale Fence
2025-06-29
[ZH] Reporters and breaking news X accounts indicate that anti-scale fencing was erected late Friday night into early Saturday morning around the White House and Treasury Department buildings in Washington, D.C.

While no official statement has been released, prevailing speculation online attributes the move to:

Preemptive security posture ahead of the July 4th holiday.

National March on Washington scheduled for Saturday, June 28 at 1 PM, led by ANSWER Coalition and affiliated anti-war organizations, protesting potential U.S. military escalation with Iran.
Doesn't seem like that did squat
NBC News reporter Ben Popken questioned a U.S. Secret Service agent about the sudden construction of fencing and the apparent elevation in security posture. The agent attributed the move to standard protective measures ahead of the July 4th holiday.

Day 4: Did 'Free Palestine' Terrorist Get Support from Goldman Sachs and China?
2025-05-25
See Day 3 here and here. See Day 2 here, Day 1 here.
[HotAir] The first rule in any investigation: Follow the money.

The New York Post did just that with the man who slaughtered two Israeli embassy employees outside a Jewish museum this week. Isabel Vincent traces the path that Elias Rodriguez has taken over the last several years on his way to becoming a cowardly terrorist assassin, taking particular note of his allegiance to the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), as well as International ANSWER and other radical-leftist alliances. And the funding for PSL runs through one man, who also has a particular affinity for the regime in Beijing:

The suspected terrorist charged with gunning down two Israeli embassy workers in Washington Wednesday is associated with radical socialist groups funded by the far-left Chinese sympathizer, millionaire Neville Singham and his activist wife Jodie Evans.

Elias Rodriguez, 31, who allegedly confessed to killing the couple outside the Capital Jewish Museum and chanted "free, free Paleostine!" was part of that network through his association with the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), a Communist political organization that has fielded presidential candidates since 2008. ...

Both the PSL and ANSWER Coalition are connected to People’s Forum — a Manhattan-based non-profit which has ties to the Chinese Communist Party — through funding from Singham, 71.

The funding -- $20 million -- also got filtered through Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund (GSPF). If it seems strange that a capitalist financial institution is funding radical socialists like ANSWER and the PSL, it is, but it's hardly the only bastion of free markets to buy the rope by which the forces of Evil want to lynch them. The Ford Foundation comes to mind, as does the Tides Foundation, founded on the RJ Reynolds tobacco fortune, among others. Arabella Advisors, a shadowy coalition of the world's wealthiest industrialists, also pours a tsunami of money into radical-left causes.

And in case you wonder, that's the same Jodie Evans that co-founded Code Pink
... a U.S. anti-war group. The group describes itself as a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education, green jobs and other life-affirming activities. It was founded in 2002 by Jodie Evans, Medea Benjamin and of the other usual antiwar suspects. Its website lists hysterical allegations of US war crimes, and states that thousands of civilians were killed in Fallujah in 2004. Maybe it was millions. Benjamin was a 2000 candidate for the U.S. Senate on the Green Party ticket. She lost...
with Medea Benjamin to protest the Iraq War. Apparently Evans only cares about some violence, and has completely flipped on China after marrying Singham. That impression comes from another affiliation with the Singhams that Vincent points out to her readers:

Another group, the Bronx Antiwar Coalition is also connected to groups in Singham’s orbit. The Bronx group applauded the murders of the Israeli diplomats on X Thursday.

"What Elias Rodriguez did is the highest expression of anti-Zionism," a tweet from the group proclaimed.

So Rodriguez has connections to both PSL and ANSWER, and an endorsement from the Bronx Antiwar Coalition, all of which have ties to Singham and Evans. What about China? In a book written by Evans, Vincent reports that she and her husband fund something called the Tricontinental Institute for Social Research. According to a May 2024 report from the Network Contagion Research Institute linked by Vincent, this entity as well as the People's Forum get support from the Chinese Communist Party as part of an effort to wreak political havoc in the US:

Evans is set to release a book in January 2025 titled "China is Not Our Enemy," which she co-authored with a researcher employed by the Tricontinental Institute for Social Research and Dongsheng News.17 Both the Tricontinental Institute and Dongsheng News have ties to the CCP and have received funding from Singham, with the Tricontinental Institute also receiving partial funding from Code Pink.

Are Singham and Evans the only source of that funding? Not according to NCRI, which also suspects that the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund is operating as a dark-money clearinghouse for overseas funding:

Between 2017 and 2022, the People’s Forum received over $20 million in grants from the GSPF, with $12 million transferred in 2019 alone. As previous reporting has detailed, GSPF appears to function as a dark money clearinghouse, obscuring the identity of donors while facilitating the transfer of substantial sums to American non-profits.

In November 2023, a Tax-Exempt Organization Complaint was filed with the IRS
...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies...
against The People’s Forum, alleging that: "De Los Santos and the People’s Forum Inc. have been advocating in support of the U.S. designated foreign terror organization Hamas
..always the voice of sweet reason...
in its war on Israel and Jews and also advocates for the overthrow of the United States."

How does Singham make his money? The NCRI report is equally interested in that question:

According to an investigation conducted by the New York Times

...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

(NYT), Singham’s "ties to the propaganda machine date back at least to 2019, when, corporate documents show, he started a consulting business with Chinese partners. Those partners are active in the propaganda apparatus." According to a report in Newlines Magazine, Singham is invested in at least two other major Chinese companies, underscoring the depth of his business interests in mainland China. In July 2023, Singham was photographed at a strategic communications workshop hosted by the CCP in Shanghai.14 As recent as November 2023, India’s Enforcement Directorate summoned Singham for questioning regarding his Delhi-based news portal NewsClick, which was raided in 2021 for suspected acceptance of illegal funds from China to promote CCP propaganda deemed a threat to India’s national security.

In 2023, even the New York Times found Singham's cash flow to be highly suspicious:

In fact, a New York Times investigation found, it is part of a lavishly funded influence campaign that defends China and pushes its propaganda. At the center is a charismatic American millionaire, Neville Roy Singham, who is known as a socialist benefactor of far-left causes.

What is less known, and is hidden amid a tangle of nonprofit groups and shell companies, is that Mr. Singham works closely with the Chinese government media machine and is financing its propaganda worldwide.

From a think tank in Massachusetts to an event space in Manhattan, from a political party in South Africa to news organizations in India and Brazil, The Times tracked hundreds of millions of dollars to groups linked to Mr. Singham that mix progressive advocacy with Chinese government talking points.

At the time, the NYT didn't report any connection specifically to Hamas or Paleostinian propaganda, but this was less than five months before Hamas' atrocities on October 7, too. People's Forum makes an appearance, as does the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund, although the NYT only refers to it as a charity:

Since 2017, about a quarter of Code Pink’s donations — more than $1.4 million — have come from two groups linked to Mr. Singham, nonprofit records show. The first was one of the UPS store nonprofits. The second was a charity that Goldman Sachs offers as a conduit for clients’ giving, and that Mr. Singham has used in the past.

Ms. Evans now stridently supports China. She casts it as a defender of the oppressed and a model for economic growth without slavery or war.

Vincent's reporting raises a lot of questions about the "globalize the intifada" movement in the US. Hamas may not be the only malefactor behind it, and it's time to start asking Goldman Sachs about their "charity" work -- as well as Singham and Evans about their cash flow, and whether they're redirecting Beijing's resources into violent mostly peaceful terrorism in the US.
PJ Media has more about Papa Rodriguez:
Eric Rodriguez is a member of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), one of the most radical left unions in the U.S. He made a video for SEIU the same day he was honored by Rep. Garcia, in which he referred to himself as an Iraq War veteran and Veterans Affairs employee.

“I’ve been with the VA for three years, and the reason why I’m in Washington, D.C., is because I’m concerned about what Donald Trump, Elon Musk and DOGE are doing to the VA system,” he said in the video.

Addressing the monumental problems at the VA is almost an exercise in futility. The agency that is supposed to care for our veterans is a bloated, inefficient mess.

The VA stated that the canceled contracts "were identified through a multi-level review" and "will not negatively affect Veteran care, benefits, or services," though this claim has been met with skepticism, reports NBC News.
Another PJ Media article has this to say about the murdered Israeli, Yaron Lischinsky:
Lischinsky was a Messianic Jew, that is, a Jewish person who believes in Jesus (or Yeshua, to use His Hebrew name.)

Messianic Judaism is a touchy subject in the larger Jewish community, but One for Israel has an excellent, extensive history that’s worth reading. My Jewish Learning drips with condescension when it characterizes Messianic Judaism as a movement that “has tried to straddle the line between Judaism and Christianity.” The headline of that explainer uses mock-quotes to ask, “Who Are Messianic ‘Jews’?”

In its profile of Lischinsky, the Jewish news site Forward explains:

Messianic Judaism is a religious movement made up of people who identify ethnically and culturally as Jewish and believe that Jesus — whom they call Yeshua — is the promised Messiah.

Most adherents consider themselves Jewish, a position rejected by the mainstream Jewish community but embraced by congregations like Melech Ha’Mlachim [where Lischinsky worshiped].

Forward adds that “most Messianic congregations in Israel are locally run and culturally Jewish, with Torah readings, Hebrew prayer and Jewish holiday observance.” Many, if not most, American Messianic synagogues do as well.

The controversy over Messianic Judaism isn’t lost on Forward:

Still, Lischinsky’s religious identity has stirred confusion in the wake of his death. Ronen Shoval, dean of the Argaman Institute in Jerusalem, where Lischinsky participated in a yearlong program, described him to The New York Times as “a devout Christian” who “tied his fate to the people of Israel.” Israel’s ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, also referred to him as Christian in a tribute posted to social media.

But [Lischinsky’s friend David] Boskey pushed back on that framing. He said that Lischinsky, like others in their congregation, saw himself as a Jew who believed Jesus was the Messiah — and that this belief did not negate his Jewish identity.

I snuck inside ''The People's March” to see what the anti-Trump folks are up to and I took pictures of all their signs
2025-01-20
Follow up to this story from yesterday.
[NotTheBee] I don't know if it's on purpose, or that Washington journalists are so deep in the bubble that they don't realize how much their preconceived notions have infected their reporting (probably a mix of both), but I have never seen the media report on a demonstration that I have personally attended that was absent of obvious cherry picking and bias.

This year's "People's March" was no exception.

Here is the photo the Washington Post used to kick off their article on the march, "Thousands rally at People's March in D.C. to protest Trump."
See lots of illustrative photos at the link.
Looks packed!

I've mentioned before the media trick of framing a tight shot in order to create the illusion of a massive rally.

Here's that same crowd (a little later, but the density of that one spot obviously changed little). I'm back further than The Post shot so you can see some media folks scrupulously filming the most concentrated part of the gathering.

Now, let's pan over a little, towards the direction of the stage that was erected on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in line with the Washington Monument in the background.

When you're looking through a crowd, it always looks dense, but upon closer examination you can see it's pretty sparse over there save for people jammed in the narrow space between the stage and the reflecting pool.

The Post said "thousands rally" and I'll give them that. Three thousand? Maybe four, given the people I saw leaving as I was walking in about halfway through. I'll give them some credit for the crowd given the dreary day and the impending snow storm the next day, but a lot of effort was put in to put up a stage, video screens, and a sound system for a relatively small crowd.

They must be disappointed.

I have never been to a lefty protest or rally that did not have the socialists out in full force.

I have also never heard this reported, or at least highlighted in any way.

(Like all these protests, it was a mishmash of special interests and identity politics, and it looked like groups were leaving once their narrow concerns had been addressed.)

So who organized the thing?
The professional protest machine behind today’s ‘People’s March’

[FoxNews] Media outlets are calling it ‘grassroots’ anti-Trump sentiment, but confidential documents reveal it’s more AstroTurf

As anti-Trump protesters swarmed the steps below the Lincoln Memorial Saturday, media outlets painted a feel-good portrait. NBC4 Washington declared on social media: "Grassroots groups are descending on the capital for the People’s March before President-elect Trump’s inauguration." The Associated Press reported that anti-Trump "demonstrators" "converge" on Washington, D.C., for protests led by the Women’s March, a "grassroots movement."

While this positive media coverage may have captured the energy of ordinary protesters, they omitted one critical detail: the name of for-profit professional machine behind the protest.

Far from a spontaneous outpouring of civic action, the event was coordinated by Movement Catalyst LLC, a for-profit company based in Silver Spring, Md., and the official permit holder for the protests, according to a copy of the permit, which I obtained from the U.S. National Park Service. In the 1990s, covering international trade for the Wall Street Journal, I was among the first reporters to put the term "AstroTurf" into the paper’s pages, describing a coalition against tariffs on minivans that the auto industry called "grassroots" but was actually manufactured by an industry lobbying group. Protest organizing isn’t much different nowadays, and today’s "People’s March" is more AstroTurf than "grassroots." So too is the march planned for Monday, when we can expect more aggressive rabble-rousers to show up, as I reported earlier this week.

A plan, marked "Confidential Document - Not for Distribution"
Whoops! So much for that plan…
and submitted as part of the permit application, reveals that Movement Catalyst and its team of professional protest organizers coordinated everything from security to dumpster pickups, "port-a-potties" and a meticulously detailed "run of show,"

So, what is Movement Catalyst LLC? According to Washington, D.C., government records, it is a limited liability corporation established in February 2021. On its website, Movement Catalysts promotes its for-profit services, writing it’s an "experienced and interdisciplinary team of strategists, organizers, campaigners, and researchers" who launch "strategic projects to meet the moment," partnering with organizations to "expand their ability to have an impact, and anchor movement infrastructure." Its officials didn’t respond to a request for comment.

The People’s March is one of those "strategic projects," and the company’s services include "strategy & campaign development" and "creative protests & events." A look at its funding reveals the scale of its operations. In 2021, Movement Catalyst LLC received $592,050 from the New York-based Sustainable Markets Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit for "web campaign development," according to its IRS Form 990 filing. Then, in 2023, Philadelphia-based Workers United, working on "organizing the unorganized collective bargaining," paid Movement Catalyst LLC a total of $319,600, according to its tax filing. The services provided? "CONSULTANT." This is far from a "grassroots," mom-and-pop operation run over a kitchen table.

The confidential document lists four top officials at Movement Catalyst, as "protest leads":

  • Abby Henderson, a partner at Movement Catalyst and the organization’s registered agent, is the protest’s "Production and Vendor Lead."

  • Bill Ragen, a partner at Movement Catalyst, is the "Production and Vendor Lead."

  • Liz Butler, another partner at Movement Catalyst," is also "Production and Vendor Lead."

  • Samantha "Sam" Miller, a "collaborator" at Movement Catalyst, is in charge of "Overall Coordination." On the National Park Service application, she is the "person in charge." Miller was the director at a previous professional protest company, DC Action Lab, that the Women’s March and others hired to mount protests during the first Trump administration.

The "PRODUCTION SCHEDULE" and "RUN OF SHOW/RALLY PROGRAM" was scripted with leaders and performers from many big-money organizations, including the Women’s March, Popular Democracy in Action, Standing Up for Racial Justice, Harriet’s Wildest Dreams and Dream Defenders. Movement Catalyst promised to provide at least 750 "identifiable marshals," each wearing "hi-visibility vests and volunteer credentials."
It’s always interesting to see the details that they planned to keep secret from the normies.
But Richard Pollock has even more:
As the “People’s March” was free from violence, the next one up is the ANSWER Coalition, which occurs on Monday.

ANSWER is potentially the most unruly and unpredictable group. The leaders say they expecte to draw about 15,000 people. They most likely will celebrate Hamas’ ceasefire with Israel.

The last time ANSWER was in Washington, they were protesting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before a Joint Session of Congress. After the rally, some protesters rioted, police were assaulted, American flags burned and there was the desecration of monuments -- with one that was spray painted with a warning: “Hamas Is Coming.”

Ryan Mauro, who investigates extremist groups for the nonprofit Capital Research Center has exposed ANSWER as supporting Iran’s “Axis of Resistance,” which includes Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis in Yemen along with the mullahs of Iran.

Ryan reported in a January 8 column that “ANSWER signed a statement declaring its endorsement of the Iran-led “Axis of Resistance” coalition of terrorist groups like Hamas and siding with Russia over Ukraine.

Expect unpredictability with the ANSWER Coalition.

This is the woke army plotting to crash Trump's inauguration
2025-01-17
[FoxNews] A network of organizations in the ‘Woke Army’ of socialists and Islamists plan to protest Trump’s inauguration

This past July, as anti-Israel crowds took to the streets of Washington, D.C,, to protest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu address to Congress, Zaid Mohammed Mahdawi, 26, climbed atop a monument at Columbus Circle in front of Union Station and allegedly spray-painted an ominous message: 'HAMAS IS COMIN''. He punctuated the warning with the red, inverted triangle that the terrorist organization uses as a symbol to mark its targets.

Nearby, demonstrators pulled down and burned a U.S. flag to ashes, tackled U.S. Park Police officers trying to arrest agitators and spray-painted other menacing graffiti, including ‘DEATH 2 AMRIKKKA,’ on memorials.

At 3:26 p.m., the U.S. Park Police pulled the protest permit, which had been issued to the ANSWER Coalition, a Washington-based, self-declared socialist organization. Later, the FBI charged Mahdawi and other protesters with destruction of government property.

"The permit holder failed to answer his phone and the call went directly to voicemail," an FBI agent wrote in a fascinating affidavit that revealed that someone at a gym Mahdawi used sent the FBI a tip on his identity.

Nearly six months later, the ANSWER Coalition is poised to get a new permit to host another protest on Monday, according to a copy of the application I obtained from the National Park Service. The event name: "For Peace & Justice - Free Palestine." The target is obviously the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

Past behavior indicates the protests will bring mayhem to the capital's streets. Yet, National Park Service spokesman Michael Litterst told me that current legal precedent makes it difficult to deny permits based on prior incidents.

Critics, like leaders of the Clarity Coalition, a network of Muslims, ex-Muslims and allies who oppose extremism, say it’s long past time to deny the permits. At a minimum, the public must have its eyes wide open about who is behind these protests.

As the protests unfold, media coverage will likely frame them as ‘organic,’ ‘grassroots’ activities. But make no mistake: These events will be part of a larger, well-funded operation. The demonstrators are aligned with adversaries to the U.S., including Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and Hamas, and are united in an unholy alliance that blends socialism with Islamism, or political Islam.

This coalition, which I call the "Woke Army," operates as a red-green alliance, the red symbolizing socialism and communism and the green representing Islam. These are the same groups that stoked the encampments of the so-called campus intifada around the country last year. Their ultimate goal is to dismantle American democracy and replace it with a socialist, anti-capitalist order. The first way to counter this threat is through transparency, vigilance and a commitment to truth.

The application lists the same "Person in Charge of Event," as it did in July: Brian Becker, the self-proclaimed Marxist founder of the ANSWER Coalition.

Protest organizers say they have at least 50 "endorsing" groups, and their motives are far from grassroots. I’ve created a public database as part of my work at the Pearl Project, a nonprofit journalism initiative, and, according to my analysis, 25 of the groups are self-described socialist organizations, five are Muslim, Arab or Palestinian, and the final 20 are "socialist adjacent."

The "red" in this alliance includes:

  • ANSWER Coalition: A Marxist-Leninist group infamous for organizing protests that amplify anti-American and anti-Israel rhetoric.

  • Code Pink: An anti-Israel group funded by Neville Roy Singham, a Shanghai-based American billionaire tied to China’s Communist Party, according to New York Times reporting.

  • Party for Socialism and Liberation: Advocates for dismantling capitalism and aligning the U.S. with socialist regimes.

  • The People’s Forum: A socialist group that serves as a proxy for Singham’s pro-China agenda, as also documented by the New York Times.

  • Democratic Socialists of America: The largest socialist organization in the U.S. and a big supporter of anti-Israel campaigns.

The "green" of this axis includes:

  • Students for Justice in Palestine: Founded by University of California at Berkeley academic Hatem Bazian, this controversial group has fomented many of the anti-Jew campus protests, banned now on many campuses.

  • Palestinian Feminist Collective: Committed to "Palestinian liberation & beyond."

  • Palestinian Youth Movement: Dedicated to a "strategy of mobilization, agitation and confrontation."

  • U.S. Palestinian Community Network: Organized days of protests in Chicago to disrupt the Democratic Party’s convention.

  • Muslim American Society: Created a "Survive Pack," with tips on building campus "Liberation Zones" and a resource from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, whose co-founder, Nihad Awad, said he was "happy" about the Oct. 7 incursions by Hamas into Israel.

In July, I went to the corner of C Street NW to report who had rented buses to ferry protesters to the first "HAMAS IS COMIN’" protest. It was the Party for Socialism and Liberation. This time, if you go to the "We Fight Back" website’s donation page, you’ll see who is getting the donations for the Jan. 20 protests. It’s The People’s Forum, whose logo and tax ID number appear on the donate page.

On Nov. 5, four days after Trump’s electoral victory, an anonymous person bought the website domain wefightback2025.org. Now the protest’s digital hub, it features an embedded Google Map geo-locating 80 planned "actions" across the country.

It even includes a "J20 media kit" with pre-designed Instagram graphics, a Canva template and printable protest posters emblazoned with slogans like "Stop the Genocide in Palestine" and "Defeat Extreme-Right Trump’s Billionaire Agenda!"

The kit even provides social media captions, complete with a megaphone emoji. They have their right to protest, but the world must have eyes wide open about who is behind the megaphones.

Charges dropped against keffiyeh-clad protester for violating NY county’s mask ban

[IsraelTimes] District attorney says not possible to prove charges against pro-Palestinian demonstrator arrested outside synagogue ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’

Prosecutors in New York dropped charges Friday against a keffiyeh-wearing, pro-Paleostinian protester who was among the first people arrested under a local face mask ban that’s stirred free speech concerns.

Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly’s office confirmed it moved to dismiss the charges against Xavier Roa during a court hearing on Long Island.
He was leading the protest against a synagogue. ANSWER Coalition, formerly known as International ANSWER, yet another tentacle of the anarcho-communist Black Bloc movement organized a protest against his arrest, strongly suggesting Mr. Roa is a Black Bloc cadre.
"The case was investigated extensively and upon conclusion NCDA determined that the allegations could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and moved to dismiss the charges," spokesperson Nicole Turso said in a statement.

Roa’s lawyer Geoffrey Stewart hailed the decision as a "big victory" for his client and "for civil liberties," but argued the law itself "should be struck from the books."

"This case shows that the law can, and in all likelihood will be abused by law enforcement because the law is unconstitutionally vague," he said in an email.

Stewart has maintained that Roa acted respectfully and complied with officers as he peacefully exercised his constitutionally protected free speech rights during a protest outside an Orthodox synagogue in September.

The North Bellmore resident was detained under Nassau County’s Mask Transparency Act, which bans people from wearing masks to conceal their identity in public. It includes exemptions for people who wear masks "for health, safety, religious or cultural purposes."

The county’s Republican-controlled Legislature approved the law in August in response to "antisemitic incidents, often perpetrated by those in masks" since the Hamas

Roa, who faced up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted of the misdemeanor charge, was the first protester arrested under the ban.

The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations

and other groups claimed at the time it was proof that the local law was being used as a "silencing tactic" against Paleostinian supporters.

Nassau County police said Roa had been attempting to conceal his identity as he led others in pro-Paleostinian chants. They also said he told officers he was wearing the scarf in solidarity with Paleostinians and not for exempted medical or religious purposes.

In videos showing some of the arrest, Roa wears the keffiyeh around his neck as he’s led away in handcuffs.

Fifth Column
Far-Left Socialists Plot MASSIVE Protest for Donald Trump’s Inauguration
2024-11-11
A little project for the Justice Department and their oh-so-active informants in coming weeks. In between sending out job applications, I mean.
[Karlyn] The Protests Are Coming...

Well, you knew it was inevitable. A coalition of far-left socialist and communist groups has announced plans for a massive protest during Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
’s inauguration.
The image of the announcement poster can be seen at the link. January 20th at 11 a.m. in Washington DC. Organizers include The People’s Forum, Palestinian Youth Movement, ANSWER Coalition, Jill Stein, Bangladeshi Americans for Political Progress, Code Pink, Los Angeles Tenents Union [sic] — some are odd, others appear regularly in the Rantburg archives.
This coalition is spearheaded by the Party of Socialism and Liberation, which has been highly active in protests throughout the year, including organizing pro-Paleostine demonstrations on campuses nationwide and multiple events in Washington, DC.

Expect this coalition to grow as the event approaches—and that’s not counting Antifa
...the armed wing of the Democratic Party...
, which will almost certainly show up as the krazed killer arm of the far left. While members of these groups may not all be Antifa (though there is some overlap), they openly identify as Socialists, Communists, and Marxists who despise the Democratic Party.
Don't we all.
They view Trump’s second term as a prime opportunity to radicalize disillusioned Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
, liberals, and progressives, bringing them into the far-left fold.

How are they funding that?

They’re raising $50,000 via small donation. They raised $2,000 in the first two hours of their efforts. When I signed up for their email list to get updates on their efforts, I was met with a fundraising ask and current results:
I’d not be shocked to learn that the organizers will have also gotten a much larger donation from the usual Progressive NGO donor organizations and individuals, enough to cover signs, travel costs, and salaries for the cadres.

Keffiyeh-clad protester outside synagogue charged with violating NY county’s mask ban
2024-09-21
[IsraelTimes] A pro-Paleostinian protestor wearing a keffiyeh scarf has been charged with violating a suburban New York City county’s new law banning face masks in public, reviving fears from opponents that the statute is being used to diminish free speech rights.

Police say the 26-year-old North Bellmore resident was arrested Sunday afternoon during a protest in front of Young Israel of Lawrence-Cedarhurst, an Orthodox synagogue near the New York City borough of Queens.

Nassau County Police Department spokesperson Scott Skrynecki says that officers questioned the man because he had been concealing his face with a keffiyeh, which has become a symbol of support for Paleostinian people.

Police on the scene asked him if he was wearing the garment for medical or religious purposes, which are the two major exceptions to the new ban, according to Skrynecki. When the man confirmed he was wearing it in solidarity with Paleostinians and not for either of those reasons, he was placed under arrest, Skrynecki says. He was eventually released with a notice to appear in court on October 2.

Videos showing some of the arrest have been shared on social media. They show the man wearing the keffiyeh around his neck as he’s led away by officers in handcuffs and continues to lead others in pro-Paleostinian chants.

The man didn’t respond to calls and social media messages seeking comment Thursday.

Rachel Hu, a spokesperson for ANSWER Coalition,
…they used to call themselves International ANSWER, back when they were protesting the possibility of an American response to 9/111, but really they’re just another tentacle of the Black Bloc anarcho-communist international syndicate…
which organized a rally this week against the arrest, says the man is currently seeking legal counsel and won’t be commenting on the case until then.

"We feel that this arrest (and this ban overall) was aimed at intimidating known activists to discourage us from using our first amendment right to protest," Hu writes in an email.

Sunday’s arrest is the third under the Mask Transparency Act approved by Nassau County’s Republican-controlled legislature and signed into law by Executive Bruce Blakeman last month, according to the Nassau County District Attorney’s office.

Prosecutors release update about anti-Israel protesters who set American flag alight
2024-07-27
[Daily Mail, where America gets it news] … shouted 'Allahu Akbar' in Washington during Netanyahu's speech.

Anti-Israel protestors and Hamas sympathizers who desecrated Washington, D.C.'s Union Station have learned their fates.

A minimum of eight people who participated in the anti-Israel protest during Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech Wednesday are now facing federal criminal charges after defacing federal property and fighting police.

Some protestors, however, have had their charges dropped by more lenient Washington, D.C. prosecutors.

Frederick Coates, Crow Momamome and Antonio Somerville have all been charged with attempting to carry a dangerous weapon, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in D.C.

Nathaniel Lawrence, Sonia Krishan
…the outwardly lovely 2022 Miss Maryland Teen USA, now apparently a psych major at NYU…
and Roger Miller have been charged with attempted theft.

Zachary Kam has been charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer.

And Essa Ejelat has been charged with making threats.

Authorities also maintain that the protest, which began near the National Mall close to the U.S. Capitol before heading to the train terminal, is still an open investigation and updates could come.

In addition to those charged there are numerous protestors who were arrested that will not face charges, Fox News reports.

The D.C. attorney general's office got at least 11 cases 'no-papered,' which means that the charges were dropped.

Among those three were charges for crossing police lines, five were for disorderly conduct and inducing violence and three were for disorderly conduct causing unreasonable fear.

All of the charges are misdemeanors.

Further, the report reveals an additional five pending cases for crowding and obstructing, though prosecutors have yet to decide whether to press charges.

Biden NPS cited anti-Israel group with lack of disclosure before violent protest, permit shows

[WashingtonExaminer] One day before anti-Israel protesters caused mayhem in Washington, D.C., burning an effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after he spoke to Congress, scrawling graffiti across federal property, and burning American flags, the National Park Service granted the organizing group a public gathering permit. The Washington Examiner obtained a copy of that permit in full from a Biden administration source — providing a key window into the planning of the rally and the ways in which demonstrators skirted federal rules.

The permit, a redacted version of which can be read at this link, was given to the ANSWER Coalition,
…they used to call themselves International ANSWER, back when they were protesting the possibility of an American response to 9/11…
a group that coordinated with other pro-Paleostinian activist hubs on the planning and execution of the protest. Dozens of protesters were arrested following festivities with police, though at least 11 of them had their misdemeanor charges dropped by Thursday evening, the Washington Examiner reported.

But even before the protest began, the Interior Department’s National Park Service was aware of problems with ANSWER’s level of disclosure about its activities, documents reveal.

The NPS said in the permit documents that ANSWER "refused to provide specific locations for onsite contacts." ANSWER is a project of a charity in the Socialist paradise of San Francisco
...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964...
called Progress Unity Fund, according to tax records.

In the permit, the ANSWER Coalition described how it would be protesting in various areas in the nation’s capital, including John Marshall Park and Columbus Plaza. At 3:37 p.m. on Wednesday, after many hours of protests in the streets, the NPS said the permit for Columbus Plaza had been revoked.

Minutes later, a man wearing a red shirt was captured on social media graffitiing the phrase "Hamas
..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,...
is coming" on a historic fountain in the plaza honoring Christopher Columbus.

The Wednesday protest, according to the permit, was slated for between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day. Activists continued to demonstrate after 4 p.m. in the district as part of the rally, which ANSWER said on the permit application was to "stop the genocide in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
." The protest was called "Arrest Netanyahu! Surround Congress July 24 with the People’s Red Line for Paleostine," according to ANSWER’s website.

"These events were utterly predictable, as similar recent protests had also resulted in vandalism of federal property and assaults on Park Police, and the organization seeking the permit apparently did not even comply with its requirements before it was issued," said Michael Chamberlain, director of Protect the Public’s Trust, a watchdog group investigating the Biden administration.

The permit said ANSWER, per federal rules, was prohibited from climbing, removing, or injuring "any statue seat, wall, fountain, light poles, elevator towers, or other erection or architectural feature, or any tree, shrub, or landscaping feature" in protest areas.

The document also cited 36 CFR Section 7.96, a regulation holding that "the alteration, damage, or removal of park resources or facilities is prohibited." On Thursday, NPS staffers began to power-wash the Christopher Columbus statue and fountain that were vandalized outside Union Station.

The permit listed ANSWER’s point of contact as Brian Becker, ANSWER’s director and "a central organizer for the Party for Socialism and Liberation," according to Liberation News.
PSL are boringly unapologetic Marxist-Leninist revolutionaries who split off from the equally Marxist-Leninist revolutionary Workers World Party in 2004. ANSWER is one of their projects.

-controlled territory, waving Paleostinian flags and holding up signs bearing messages like "Free Paleostine," "Cease fire now" and "Israel thinks killing babies is collateral damage."

Protesters called on people to rebel against Black Friday by disrupting it and boycotting companies that support Israel. Chants from the crowd included, "1, 2, 3, 4, Occupation no more. 5, 6, 7, 8, Israel is a racist state," and "From the river to the sea, Paleostine will be free," which the Anti-Defamation League classifies as an antisemitic slogan.

The rally included members of multiple organizations, such as the Paleostinian Youth Movement, National Students for Justice in Paleostine, The People’s Forum, Nodutdol, al-Awda-NY, the Paleostinian American Community Center (PACC) — NJ, the ANSWER coalition and the International Peoples’ Assembly.

Manolo De Los Santos, a member of The People’s Forum, told The Post that his group showed up at the protest because they "refuse to be silenced," and consider Israel responsible for the war.

Fifth Column
The ANSWER Coalition of America's Enemies
2023-11-09
By William R. Hawkins
[AMERICANTHINKER] The large protest against Israel and in support of the Hamas
...one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,...
holy warriors on November 4 in Washington, D.C. was primarily organized by the ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism). It has called for a wave of disruption across the country on November 9 to "Shut It Down for Paleostine."

This group was founded just three days after the September 11, 2001 al-Qaeda terrorist attack on New York City and the Pentagon that killed some 3,000 people. ANSWER’s declared aim was to create "a massive antiwar movement" that would block U.S. retaliation against the attacks. So now ANSWER wants to block Israeli retaliation against the October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks which killed over 1,400 people. They are not "antiwar" and certainly have no interest in "peace." ANSWER picks sides in conflicts around the world, protesting the actions of one side, and justifying the actions of the other. They want victory for their chosen side which is invariably the side acting against the United States, its friends, and its allies. That is the core nature of the Left.
ANSWER was the false nose and mustache for SANE/FREEZE, the "anti-nuke" commies who somehow consistently took the Soviet side in any argument. SS-21's in Warsaw Pact nations? Good. Pershing missiles in NATO? Insane provocation!
ANSWER chose against Israel long ago, holding a rally in April 2002 in Washington calling for the "liberation" of Paleostine, which means wiping Israel off the map. The chants heard today of "from the river to the sea" do not express any new objective. The only plan for genocide, the style of which was demonstrated in the torture and murder of babies on 10/7, has come from the Paleostinian terrorists, their backers in Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
(who have threatened to use nuclear weapons to obliterate Israel), and their left-wing supporters on college campuses where barbarism has become the essence of enlightenment.

Israel withdrew from Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. in 2005, as it had from southern Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
in 2000. Terrorist groups Hamas in Gaza and Hezb’allah in Lebanon (both backed by Iran) seized the open territory. Peaceful development has not been their priority. This hard experience explains why Israel cannot withdraw from the Golan Heights, East Jerusalem, or its West Bank security wall. And why it must clean out Gaza. In the real world, the right to exist requires more than a scrap of paper to have meaning or endure. When enemies won’t stop, they have to be stopped.

The population centers of the West Bank are under the Paleostinian Authority. Israel does not want to govern large Moslem populations. Judaism is not an evangelical-universal religion like Christianity and Islam. Israel is meant to be a Jewish State, a sanctuary after the Nazi Holocaust. It is in the homeland of the Jewish people, who founded the first Israel in the 10th century BC. The Israelis just want to be left alone. Peace is their fondest hope. A sincere antiwar movement would embrace their cause as it would improve the lives of everyone across the entire region. In 75 years, Israel has turned a desert into a thriving free society whose achievements should inspire progress elsewhere rather than hatred -- except among those who are "triggered" by success.

As my previous column argues, there is more than anti-Semitism at work in the left-wing choice against Israel. Jerusalem is considered an outpost of western civilization, the real enemy. Thus, any aggression committed by enemies of the West is to be supported by opposing any defense against such aggression. This is in the name of a global revolution.

ANSWER thus supports Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, holding a rally in Washington last March. Its lengthy list of coalition groups opposing aid to Ukrainian freedom fighters included several Paleostinian groups, as well as avowed Marxist organizations, open-border advocates, and climate change activists. The unifying theme of the Left’s many causes is to cripple, transform, and defeat America, the leader of the western world.

US empire trying to capture Ukraine: Activist
2014-11-03
[Iran Press TV] American peace activist Richard Becker says the US empire has been trying to capture Ukraine on order to bring it into its orbit.

Becker, a leader of the ANSWER Coalition, a US-based protest umbrella group consisting of many antiwar and civil rights organizations, made the remarks on Sunday while commenting on a statement by Washington against the elections in eastern Ukraine.

On Sunday, the people in Ukraine's Luhansk and Donetsk regions went to the polls to elect their leaders and parliamentarians.

The United States said it would not recognize the elections in Ukraine's eastern regions, where the United Nations
...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society...
says over 4,000 people have been killed.

"We deplore the intent of separatists in parts of eastern Ukraine to hold illegitimate so-called local elections on Sunday," White House National Security Council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan said in the statement issued on Friday.
