Al-Burhan vows to hold Tagadum leaders accountable for alleged collusion with RSF
[SUDANTRIBUNE] Army leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan vowed on Thursday to hold leaders of the Coordinating Committee of Civil Democratic Forces "Tagadum" accountable, accusing them of colluding with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and conspiring to kill Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
ese citizens.

Speaking before a gathering of soldiers at the army base in Kosti, White Nile State, al-Burhan stated, "Tagadum is colluding with the rebels and conspiring with them to kill the Sudanese people, refusing to cease the war unless the army negotiates with them."

He emphasized that the army would not collaborate with the "rebels" and their accomplices, sending a stern message to the Tagadum Coordination Committee, the Forces of Freedom and Change, and politicians aspiring to rule Sudan.

Addressing these groups, he said, "You will not rule Sudan while we are here, and do not come to Sudan while we are here. No one who joins hands with the rebels will be welcomed by the Sudanese people."

He added, "These individuals should find another place to go. We are astonished and dismayed by those who rejoice at the death of Sudanese citizens, their looting, and the rape of girls while speaking about the government’s illegitimacy."

Hadi Idris, Tagadum Deputy Chairman, spoke to "Sudan Tribune" at the conclusion of the coalition’s founding conference held in late May, about initiating procedures to strip legitimacy from the government headed by al-Burhan.

Authorities in the regions of southern Russia announce holidays in connection with Eid al-Adha
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] Residents of Chechnya will celebrate Eid al-Adha on June 17 and 18. In Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Ingushetia, residents are given only one day off on the occasion of a Muslim holiday.

As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, in 2023 the Chechen authorities previously declared three days off in connection with the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr, from June 28 to 30. At most of the sites set aside in Grozny for the ritual slaughter of livestock on Eid al-Fitr, sanitary standards are not observed. This is contrary to Muslim traditions and deprives the meaning of the sacrifice itself, local residents said at the time.

Kurban Bayram (Eid al-Adha) is a holiday of sacrifice in memory of the decision of the prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son. This is one of the two main Muslim holidays, it is celebrated 70 days after the holiday of Eid al-Fitr and falls on the tenth day of the month of Dhul-Hijj, which marks the end of the Hajj - the pilgrimage to Mecca, according to the  Kurban certificate. Bayram, published in the "Directory" section on the " Caucasian Knot".

Residents of Chechnya are waiting for two days off on the occasion of Kurban Bayram. “Declare June 17 and 18, 2024 as non-working (holiday) days on the territory of the Chechen Republic,” says the decree of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.

The head of Kabardino-Balkaria, Kazbek Kokov, declared June 17 a non-working day, follows from the decree of the head of the region, which was published on the portal for the official publication of legal acts.

The head of Ingushetia, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, by his decree declared June 17 a non-working day in the republic in connection with the Muslim holiday Kurban Bayram, the government of Ingushetia reported today in its Telegram channel.

June 17 will also be a non-working day in Karachay-Cherkessia. The head of Karachay-Cherkessia, Rashid Temrezov, by his decree, decided to declare June 17, 2024, the holiday of sacrifice Eid al-Adha (Eid al-Adha) a non-working day. Work on this day is compensated by providing another day of rest, the government of the republic reported in its Telegram channel.

Europe
Germany Panic-Announces Migrant Deportation Plan Before Elections
[Breitbart] Just days before Germany and the rest of the Europe votes on the next European Parliament, the migrant stabbing of a right-wing activist shocked the country, apparently bouncing the government into suddenly announcing a deportation plan for extremists.

An Afghan migrant launched a mass knife attack on a right-wing political event in the city of Mannheim, Germany last week.
His full name is Sulaiman Ataee, though in Germany he may only be identified as Sulaiman A. In 2020 he grew a long beard and started posting videos of ISIS-K fave Ahmad Zahir Aslamiyar, the late radical Islamist Afghan preacher and former Taliban commander, which was suggestive to those of a certain bent.
Several people were stabbed including a veteran anti-Islamification campaigner, and a police officer responding to the attack was killed. The attack came just days before Germany — and many other European states — is due to vote in a major European election, and the anti-mass migration right having their point so brutally underlined appears to have seriously alarmed the progressive coalition government.

Germany has been looking into being able to deport unwanted migrants back to Afghanistan for months, but last week’s terror attack seems to have brought the matter crashing to a head, with Chancellor Olaf Scholz now promising to deport migrants guilty of serious crimes, and those immigrants that may celebrate or glorify terrorist attacks.

This is essential, the left-wing head of government said, because migrants behaving badly undermined national cohesion by drawing attention to migrants behaving badly. Scholz said: “Anyone who abuses crimes like the one in Mannheim is lighting the fuse to [destroy] our cohesion. People with an immigration background are part of our society – we will not allow ourselves to be divided… [as in sports teams] they are all our boys.”

He told the nation, just days before polls open this Sunday: “Anyone who glorifies terrorism is going against all of our values - and should be deported” and “Such criminals should be deported; they have no place here – even if they come from Syria and Afghanistan”.

Refugees who “exploit our protection” forfeit their rights, he said.

The remarks were also significant as they appear to be the first time the Mannheim attack has been definitely called a terror attack by Scholz.

While the German government and its immigration policy has naturally come under strong attack from the right since the Mannheim terror attack last week and the second Mannheim attack this week — another stabbing of a right-wing activist in the city just four days after the first — it is also coming under fire from the populist left.

Germany’s Die Welt reports Sahra Wagenknecht, formerly of the hard-left Die Linke (‘The Left’) party but who split off earlier this year to form a new political party named after herself — the Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) with a respectable ten members of Parliament — goads Scholz by complaining the German taxpayer funds radicalisation. Calling the stabbing by a long-term Afghan migrant who should have been deported years before but never was, anti-mass migration, socially conservative, but economically hard-left Wagenknecht called the situation “scandalous”.

She said, speaking to Welt: “I find it scandalous that someone who has no protection status, no right to asylum, stays in our country for over ten years… We basically financed his radicalization as well. He lived off us, off the money of the citizens.”

Arizona Border Sector Migrant Arrests Jump for Third Straight Week as Biden Announces Immigration Executive Order
[Breitbart] Migrant apprehensions in the Tucson Sector jumped for the third straight week. Agents in the Arizona border sector apprehended nearly 8,000 migrants shortly before President Joe Biden announced his newest immigration executive order.

Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin reported on social media that his agents apprehended 7,800 migrants during the week ending May 31. The following Wednesday, President Biden announced his executive order allegedly capping the number of daily migrant crossings.

Under Biden’s executive order, the Department of Homeland Security would only restrict migrants illegally crossing the border between ports of entry when the number hits 2,500 per day on a seven-day average, Breitbart News reported. The Tucson Sector alone averaged more than 1,000 apprehensions per day during the seven-day period ending May 31.

The National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE) wrote in an analysis of the order, “Biden is about to officially legitimize crisis levels of illegal immigration through a variety of avenues (around 2 million a year) while gutting interior enforcement by refusing to arrest, detain, and deport illegal aliens in accordance with the law.”

Breitbart Texas reported, citing an unofficial Border Patrol chart, that during the month of May, Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 118,000 migrants — more than 3,800 per day. The May apprehensions were the third-lowest month for migrant arrests during the Biden era. During Fiscal Year 23, agents apprehended an average of more than 6,780 migrants per day. So far this fiscal year, agents apprehended approximately 6,715 migrants per day.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott responded to the president’s executive order as a “smokescreen for President Biden’s failed open border policies.” He added, “This executive order will do nothing but further an invasion into our country, inviting thousands of unvetted illegal immigrants to cross the border every single day—the exact opposite of shutting down the border.”

Abbott said Biden’s order “essentially legalizes the millions of illegal immigrants already in our country and allows thousands more to illegally cross our southern border daily.”

US announces sanctions on largely dormant West Bank terror group Lions’ Den
[IsraelTimes] Group emerged in Nablus in late 2022 but has not taken responsibility for an attack since July 2023

The US State Department announced on Thursday sanctions against the Lions’ Den terror group
…established by local members of various terror groups, including Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, led by one Ibrahim Nabulsi, a wanted Palestinian gunman who was killed almost immediately in an Israeli raid in Nablus. In our archives as Lions Den and Lion’s Den, because apostrophes matter.…
that was established over two years ago in the northern West Bank, despite the group being largely inactive since last summer.

"The United States condemns any and all acts of violence committed in the West Bank, whoever the perpetrators, and we will use the tools at our disposal to expose and hold accountable those who threaten peace and stability there," US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a statement.

The Lions’ Den emerged in late 2022 in the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank as violence surged in the Israeli-Paleostinian conflict, and carried out a number of terror attacks. It has been largely dormant over the past year, and has not grabbed credit for an attack since mid-2023.

In October 2022, Lions’ Den grabbed credit for several drive-by shootings in the Nablus area. Lions’ Den members shot up Israeli vehicles driving close to the settlement of Elon Moreh, injuring a taxi driver and damaging vehicles. In a separate attack, numerous shots were fired toward the West Bank settlement of Har Bracha, the State Department said.

In September 2022, Lions’ Den fighters injured and killed Paleostinian civilians during festivities between Paleostinian fighters and Paleostinian Authority Security Forces in Nablus, the US announcement added.

The announcement also cited April 2024 Paleostinian media reports of Lions’ Den fighters targeting Israeli forces with small arms at an Israeli checkpoint in Nablus. However,
Switzerland makes more than cheese...
these reports were never confirmed, the group never grabbed credit for that attack and it could well have been perpetrated by Paleostinian Islamic Jihad

The US has also recently sanctioned 13 Israeli settlers accused of committing violence against Paleostinians in the West Bank, as well as two outposts and four groups.

Strip, killing some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapping 251.

Since October 7, troops have arrested some 4,150 wanted Paleostinians across the West Bank, including more than 1,750 affiliated with Hamas. According to the Paleostinian Authority health ministry, more than 520 West Bank Paleostinians have been killed in that time. According to the IDF, most have been killed during violent mostly peaceful festivities with troops.
