[Nat'l Pulse] DOJ/FBI/CP all complicit in the lies
Video evidence has emerged implicating Capitol Police Special Agent David Lazarus of having committed perjury in the prosecution of four members of the Oath Keepers organization for actions during the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot. The video, released by The Blaze, shows time-stamped security camera footage that directly contradicts sworn testimony by Lazarus as to where he was during a critical 20-minute period during the riot.
The security camera footage appears to indicate that Lazarus would have been unable to witness the events he claims he saw involving interactions between the four members of the Oath Keepers and Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn. Lazarus and Dunn were both critical witnesses for federal prosecutors in the Oath Keeper case – and hailed as heroes by President Joe Biden and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
OFFICER DUNN CHANGES HIS STORY.
In an initial FBI interview, Officer Dunn indicated four members of the Oath Keepers had stood between himself and agitated rioters, to de-escalate the situation. Video footage from the incident shows Officer Dunn himself making threats and behaving erratically before the Oath Keepers stepped in and formed a barrier between the officer and rioters. However, Dunn’s story changed in a subsequent interview with him claiming the Oath Keepers had not helped him but were themselves instigating further aggression.
SECURITY FOOTAGE DISPROVES LAZARUS’S CLAIMS
During the Oath Keeper trial, Officer Dunn’s new recollection of events was corroborated by Capitol Police Special Agent David Lazarus who claimed he witnessed an altercation between Dunn and the Oath Keepers on several occasions. However, the complete timeline of video evidence, released by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, clearly indicates Lazarus was not in the vicinity of Dunn when the alleged altercation occurred but was a quarter-mile away in the Senate office buildings.
Lazarus did not arrive in the stairwell where Dunn was located until after the Oath Keepers had already left the area and can be seen exiting the Capitol Rotunda through the east doors.
DOJ COVER-UP.
The Blaze’s Steve Baker claims it is unlikely Lazarus and Dunn concocted the story themselves and were instead put up to it by superiors in the federal government. The two differing accounts given by Officer Dunn to the FBI do lend credibility to this claim, suggesting someone within the DOJ may have pressured the officer to point the finger at the Oath Keeper members.
EVIDENCE HIDDEN.
During the Oath Keeper trial, the video evidence found in the Capitol security camera footage was not made available to the defendants or their attorneys. However, now that it has been made public and calls into question the testimony of two of the government’s key witnesses there will likely be calls for a retrial. Whether a new trial will be granted remains to be seen.

[Hill] Election officials in Virginia’s Prince William County have acknowledged roughly 4,000 votes were misreported in former President Trump’s favor during the 2020 presidential election, when President Joe Biden went on to win the state.
A release from the county’s Office of Elections announced Trump incorrectly received 2,327 extra votes, while Biden was shorted 1,648 votes.
The U.S. Senate candidates for the state in both parties received too few votes, and a Republican House candidate who won his race was shorted just less than 300 votes.
"The reporting errors were presumably a consequence of the results tapes not being programmed to a format that was compatible with state reporting requirements. Attempts to correct this issue appear to have created errors," said Eric Olsen, director of elections for the county.
The errors "did not consistently favor one party or candidate but were likely due to a lack of proper planning, a difficult election environment, and human error," Olsen added.

Under fire Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis stands accused of paying one of her special prosecutors $100 less per hour than her less-qualified alleged lover Nathan Wade.
Court records show Wade billing the Fulton District Attorney’s office $250 per hour for his work prosecuting Donald Trump and 18 others on state racekteering charges over 2020 election interference in November and December 2021, despite having no experience in that area of law.
Meanwhile John Floyd — regarded the state’s foremost expert on Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) cases — was only billing $150 an hour in those same months, according to a contract obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
The revelation comes a day after Willis — accused last week of having a “clandestine” personal relationship with Wade in papers asking for them both to be dismissed from the case — said she treated all three special prosecutors she hired equally.
Speaking at a local church service Sunday, she said: “I appointed three special counsels, as is my right to do, paid them all the same hourly rate.”
The third special prosecutor, Anna Cross, was being paid $250 per hour in 2022, according to the Daily Caller, which also notes agreements made between Fulton County and Floyd after April 2022 may have been at a higher rate, but weren’t immediately available. Calls to Willis’ office Monday said it was closed for the government holiday.
A representative for Floyd’s office declined to comment, but pointed out all three lawyers had joined the case at different times and brought different areas of expertise to the case.
Willis went on to accuse her detractors of racism, saying they had singled out Wade as the only the black prosecutor she hired.
Speaking at the Big Bethel AME Church in Atlanta on Sunday, she said: “I hired one black man, another superstar, a great friend and a great lawyer … First thing they say: ‘oh, she’s gonna play the race card now.”
“But no God, isn’t it them that’s playing the race card when they only question one?”

[ZeroHedge] As predicted, Donald Trump has been declared the winner of the Iowa Caucus by the Associated Press. Trump beat both Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley by nearly 30 points and 40 points respectively, in line with the final NBC News/Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa poll.
According to Bloomberg, Vivek Ramaswamy is ending his 2024 campaign and endorsed Trump.
Trump, likely after finding out that Ramaswamy wouldn't continue, credited Vivek for doing a 'hell of a job.'
Trump has the backing of well over 100 GOP governors and members of Congress — including more than 20 U.S. senators and top House members like Speaker Mike Johnson — outpacing his rivals for the party’s nomination in all of those categories. On Sunday he added more: Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum. -NPR
Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... wins the Iowa caucuses Monday, a crucial victory at the outset of the Republican primary that reinforces the former US president’s bond with his party’s voters even as he faces extraordinary legal challenges that could complicate his bid to return to the White House.
The magnitude of Trump’s success is still coming into focus, but the former president’s supporters endured a historic and life-threatening cold snap to participate in caucus meetings that unfolded in schools, churches and community centers across the state.
The results are just the first in what will be a monthslong effort for Trump to secure the GOP nomination a third consecutive time. But they send an unmistakable message to the Republican Party that the nomination is Trump’s to lose and crystalize the challenge facing his GOP opponents.
Former UN ambassador Nikki Haley ...Trump administration's former ambassador to the UN. First woman to serve as Governor of South Carolina, and the second Indian-American governor in the country, after Bobby Jindal of Louisiana. At the age of 39, Haley was the youngest governor in the U.S., a distinction formerly held by Jindal. She is a Republican, which really grates on the Dems... and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis are Trump’s most prominent primary rivals. They are aiming for a second-place finish in Iowa that would give them at least some momentum heading into future races. Both are already pivoting their focus, with Haley poised to compete vigorously in New Hampshire, where she hopes to be more successful with the state’s independent voters heading into the January 23 primary. DeSantis, meanwhile, is heading straight to South Carolina, a conservative stronghold where the February 24 contest could prove pivotal, before then going to New Hampshire.
Iowa is an uneven predictor of who will ultimately lead Republicans into the general election. George W. Bush’s 2000 victory was the last time a Republican candidate won in Iowa and went on to become the party’s standard-bearer.

Haley, while lacking notable endorsements in Iowa, did pick up a key endorsement from the next state on the primary calendar, New Hampshire, where Gov. Chris Sununu (R) has thrown his support behind her.
I've hated Sununu's guts for quite a while, but after reading this, I am running out of guts to hate.

Interesting that Trump and DeSantis outperformed media polling and Haley underperformed. Maybe all those Dems running to vote for Haley voted for Trump and DeSantis.

DeSantis and Haley spent $72 million in Iowa to come in a combines 12 points behind Trump. I'd say that's not so much "going through the motions" as it is "serious frontrunner chops" on DJT's part.
It would be interesting to know what Trump spent.

[Breitbart] Lead Republican negotiator Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) said GOP Senate leadership will only support a Democrat-backed border-management bill if half of its 49-member caucus supports the deal, Politico reported Friday.
The statement is important because it ensures the bloc of swing-voting GOP Senators in the middle of the party — not just the pro-migration establishment wing — will determine the party’s direction under the glare of an angry GOP base and aggressive outlets such as Breitbart News.
Politico reported:
Senate Republicans don’t control the floor, but Lankford outlined his thinking in an interview. If he can get 25 or more of the 49 GOP senators to sign onto something, he’s betting that it might be enough to get Speaker Mike Johnson to take up a big emergency spending bill with Ukraine aid – without losing the gavel to a conservative rebellion.
When Lankford met with House Republicans on Wednesday, he told them that he doesn’t plan to back a border deal that barely skirts the 60 votes needed to break a filibuster. Lankford explained that he doesn’t want to win “51 Democrats and 10 Republicans. … That is not what this is. This is not just trying to barely squeak it over to them.”
“Let’s be real: [Lankford’s half-the-caucus] goal is incredibly challenging,” Politico added.
Lankford’s half-the-caucus rule means that the Democrats cannot squeeze the giveaway bill through with just the 1o-15 most pro-migration, pro-business Republicans.
The in-the-bag yes votes likely include Sens. Thom Tillis (R-NC), Mitt Romney (R-UT), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Mike Rounds (R-SD), and Susan Collins (R-ME).
The hell-no bloc has roughly ten Senators. The group includes Sens. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Chuck Grassley (R-IA).
So the Lankford plan means the Democrats must win roughly 15 votes from the approximately 30-member bloc of Republican Senators who swing between the pro-migration establishment wing and the pro-American populist wing.
That will be difficult because few Senators want to display their support for Biden’s unpopular migration — especially if the giveaway bill will die in the House.

Close the border and clean up the Biden mess that has been created. Then come up with border policies that make sense, i.e. that don't destroy the U.S.
[Breitbart] On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “OutFront,” CNN National Security Analyst and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper stated that he has “gotten very concerned” about the prospect of terrorists exploiting the chaos on the southern border because “the composition of the border crossers has changed a good bit since my day, and now, it’s much more international. There are Chinese, Russians, and others.” And the border “is a serious national security concern.”
Host Erin Burnett asked, “So, the Houthis say that American interests are legitimate targets. They’re being very clear about that. Now, obviously, they can’t strike the U.S. from Yemen, where they’re based, but they and others, Director, can take advantage of the chaos on the southern border. There were 225,000 illegal border crossings in the month of December alone on that U.S. southern border. It’s a stunning number. Every time I say it I almost have to go check it, because it does sort of stop you in your tracks. How worried are you about this when you look at that border?”
Clapper responded, “I’ve gotten very concerned about it. The nature — the composition of the border crossers has changed a good bit since my day, and now, it’s much more international. There are Chinese, Russians, and others. So, we traditionally thought about it as people coming from South and Central America. Well, it’s much broader than that. So, this is a serious national security concern. Having said that, though, it doesn’t mean that…should be our exclusive focus. We ought to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time to attend to our southern border and also continue our position of leadership internationally.”

Clapper is like a robber expressing concern about the financial viability of the chain he thoroughly looted. Open Borders is his policy implemented by the guy he helped install. Expressing concern at this point after the invasion has happened is disingenuous. Clapper can’t hedge his bets. If there is a terrorist attack, nobody’s going to entertain his claim of Nostradamus like prescience. He’s a perp not a prognosticator.

[Breitbart] The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) on Monday issued an appeal from its Geneva, Switzerland, headquarters for upwards of $1.5 billion in additional funding to respond to health crises it sees evolving around the world.
“We aim to reach some 87 million people with life-saving humanitarian assistance this year,” said W.H.O. Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Reuters reports.
Tedros went on to say the money is needed “quickly” by the United Nations agency and will be used “to protect the health of the most vulnerable populations in 41 emergencies around the globe in 2024.”
He further promised “every US$ 1 invested in W.H.O. delivers a return on investment of at least US$ 35” although he did not give evidence to support his claim of the investment return.
The U.S. has been the W.H.O.’s top individual donor in recent years, with Washington contributing more than $400 million to the organization in 2020.
Is there any international organization to which Uncle Sugar was not the top donor?
The U.S. taxpayer funds came at the start of the pandemic and the resulting handling of the crisis by the organization quickly led to calls for Tedros to resign.
The public health body’s budget was set at $6.83 billion in 2023, designed to hold over the next two years, including a 20 percent hike in mandatory membership fees.
