Oregon’s Democrat Governor Kate Brown welcomed 'LGBTQ2SIA+' kids to Oregon in a video posted to social media Thursday, after Texas classified medical gender transition child abuse.
"To all the LGBTQ2SIA+ children and young people across our United States. I want you to know that you are seen, you are loved, and you matter." This after Texas said that medical transition of children, with cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers, is classified as child abuse.
LGBTQ2SIA+ has come to stand for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, two spirit, intersex, allied or asexual, and more. Brown is regarded as the first openly bisexual Governor in the US.
Brown continued, "And to all Oregon’s youth, especially those who are trans, nonbinary, or questioning, the state of Oregon remains committed to honoring and protecting your right to be yourself."
Brown then attacked Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott following his directive that ordered investigations into circumstances where Texas children had been subjected to "...a wide variety of elective procedures for gender transitioning, including reassignment surgeries that can cause sterilization, mastectomies, removals of otherwise healthy body parts, and administration of puberty-blocking drugs or supraphysiologic doses of testosterone or estrogen."
Brown added, "Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s decision to remove trans kids from loving parents is especially cruel. This policy is another iteration of a long and painful history of discriminatory policies targeting our LGBTQ2SIA+ community."
On Wednesday, the Biden administration also pushed back against the order by updating Health and Human Services guidelines and sent a letter to child welfare agencies across the country opposing Abbott’s order.

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, when questions were raised about the appearance of potential conflicts of interests if donors then had business before Hillary Clinton’s administration.
Bill Clinton said he wants to bring back the initiative because the kind of "cooperation and coordination" it created is urgently needed. "The COVID-19 pandemic has ripped the cover off of longstanding inequities and vulnerabilities across our global community," Bill Clinton wrote in the letter Friday. "The existential threat of climate change grows every day. Democracy is under assault around the world, most glaringly in Ukraine where Russia has launched an unjustified and unprovoked invasion that has put millions of lives in grave danger." "Send money"
Good lord. Covid, global inequities, climate change, and democracy under assault all in one paragraph? A truly impressive display of verbal efficiency to persuade the easily triggered... to send money.

[PJ] In the early days of WWII, as Germany was pounding England in the Blitz, FDR sent supplies to our allies. He gave them U.S. Navy destroyers (small warships especially good for fighting submarines) and eventually dedicated our Atlantic fleet to defending convoys and firing on German U-boats. We were secretly at war with Germany. History refers to it as "belligerent neutrality." U.S. citizens had no idea.
FDR deceived the American people. He campaigned for the 1940 election by saying he would keep the United States out of another European war. Smarter people than I can argue if it was the right thing to do. My point is this: when Hitler was at the pinnacle of his power and military success and was about to break England’s back, FDR did something about it.
Putin has started what some people are referring to as WWIII. Biden’s response has been to join other nations in hitting Putin with some financial sanctions, which have thus far not changed Putin’s game plan.
Biden is also sending, depending on your source, roughly $74 million to Russia EVERY DAY for oil.
Why hit Putin with sanctions if you’re handing him mad stacks for oil? Something is up. Biden could open the Keystone XL pipeline. He could "drill, baby, drill" in the States and tap into what might be billions of barrels of oil, but White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refers to that idea as a "misdiagnosis."
So instead, Biden is helping to pay for Putin’s war.

Lots. We are buying much oil from Russia since Biden shut down of our energy independence. Now he's releasing oil from our strategic reserves. He is a threat to our security. An impeachable offense?
