9/11 Pre-attack 'target surveillance' video finally surfaces after more than 20 years
[YouTube] Two decades ago, the 9/11 Commission found al Qaeda acted alone in the Sept. 11 attacks that killed nearly 3,000 Americans, but victims' families say that isn't true. They point to a newly-released video filmed outside the U.S. Capitol two years before the attacks, and other evidence, as proof. The families are now suing Saudi Arabia, claiming its government provided crucial assistance to the hijackers and planners of the attacks.

Each weekday morning, "CBS Mornings" co-hosts Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson bring you the latest breaking news, smart conversation and in-depth feature reporting. "CBS Mornings" airs weekdays at 7 a.m. on CBS and stream it at 8 a.m. ET on the CBS News app.
That’d be the work of Omar al-Bayoumi.

#2  UK's Guardian - A 25-year-old video has come to light of a man identified by the FBI as a Saudi intelligence agent filming locations in the center of Washington three months before Al-Qaida decided to carry out the 9/11 attacks.

The footage, shot in the summer of 1999 and in the possession of the FBI, was unsealed in a court action by families of the victims of 9/11, who claim that Saudi Arabia’s government was complicit in the event, which the country’s rulers deny. It was obtained by CBS and shown on the 60 Minutes program.

The video includes commentary from the man, Omar al-Bayoumi, about various locations in the city, including the Washington monument and the entry points and security arrangements of the US Capitol building, and referring at one point to a “plan”.

"Suing" the wrong people. Those who participated in a 20 year cover-up are the ones who should be sued.

Planning minister proposes to constitute committee to probe lynching incidents
Good idea. Form a committee.
[GEO.TV] Minister for Planning and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday proposed to constitute a special committee of the National Assembly to probe burgeoning incidents of lynching in the name of desecration and blasphemy
...the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence to a deity, or sacred objects, or toward something considered sacred or inviolable. Some religions consider it to be a crime. In Pakistain you can commit blasphemy by looking cross-eyed at a Koran...
across the country.

While speaking on the floor of the lower house of parliament on a 'point of order', Ahsan condemned the recent Swat
...a valley and an administrative district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistain, located 99 mi from Islamabad. It is inhabited mostly by Pashto speakers. The place has gone steadily downhill since the days when Babe Ruth was the Sultan of Swat...
lynching incident, saying it had brought a bad name to the country in the world.

"This anarchy will burn [all of] us if we do not take notice of it," he said, adding that the religion's name is being used to violate the law and Constitution.

On Thursday, a man was burnt to death in Swat district’s Madyan area over blasphemy allegations. The incident took place after the law enforcers had taken the suspect into custody and shifted him to the cop shoppe and later the mob took him from there and set him on fire, the district police officer (DPO) had said.

Later, the unruly group of people also torched the Madyan cop shoppe and damaged the police vehicles as well.

During his speech in the house, the planning minister said that not only the furious people lynched the man, but they also gathered to watch the body burning.

Expressing his personal experience, he said that a religious holy warrior made an liquidation attempt on him but he was survived by the grace of Allah Almighty.

"Taking the law into one's own hands is against the spirit of Islam as well as the Constitution and law of the land," he said.
"Taking the law into one's own hands is against the spirit of Islam as well as the Constitution and law of the land," he said.

He said it was high time to control "street justice" as it was the responsibility of the state and judiciary to administer punishment to a suspect of blasphemous actions.

Citing an incident from Islamic history, he emphasised that Islam taught respecting the dead bodies even if they are of non-Moslems, therefore, immolating any human being based on mere allegation is a violation of basic Islamic principles.

"Due to the ongoing trend of individuals acting as judge, jury, and executioner, we are far behind other nations on the global stage."

Responding to the minister, NA Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah suggested him to take up the issue in the federal cabinet as he is also its member. He further asked him to discuss the matter with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to devise a mechanism to cope with this social evil for good.

Hard to imagine strong economy in state torn by terrorism: PM Shehbaz
[GEO.TV] Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the prevalence of terrorism in the country is a complicated matter and everyone has to play a role in ending this menace.

"A strong economy can not be imagined in an unstable state involved in terrorism," he said while addressing a meeting of the National Action Plan (NAP) Apex Committee on Saturday.

The premier chaired the meeting held for crucial decisions, including those concerning the security of Chinese workers in Pakistain.

The forum was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, federal ministers, chief ministers of the four provinces, and all inspector generals of police.

As the country reels from recurring incidents of terrorism, including attacks on Chinese nationals on Pak soil, the prime minister said that every institution, ministry, provincial government or agency needed to play an active role in dealing with this challenge.

The prevalence of terrorism was a complicated matter, PM Shehbaz said while calling for the implementation of state governance in order to deal with the challenge.

He said that "stability and the rule of law are necessary" for the sustainable development of the country. "The war against terrorism is the prime obligation of all state institutions. It is our joint responsibility to implement the state's governance with full force."

The prime minister said that he expected the provinces would fully play their part in this regard and end the menace of terrorism in the country.

He went on to say that our political and religious leadership must be completely clear in order to fight against terrorism.

He said that "it is Pakistain's own war" and the country should take this responsibility.

"Provincial governments cannot be absolved from their duties by putting the onus on armed forces to end terrorism. Laying responsibility on a single institution would be a blatant mistake."

Operation 'Azm-e-Istehkam' green-lit to up the ante against terrorism
[GEO.TV] Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday gave the go-ahead to Operation "Azm-e-Istehkam", a reinvigorated and re-energised national counter-terrorism drive, to turn up the heat on Lions of Islam targetting the state of Pakistain.

This critical decision came to the fore during a meeting of the Central Apex Committee on National Action Plan (NAP).

According to an official statement issued by the Prime Minister Office (PMO), the new counter-terrorism push has been approved with the consensus of all stakeholders including provinces, Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
(AJK).

"The approval of the Operation Azm-e-Istehkam symbolises the national resolve to eradicate all forms of extremism and terrorism from the country," the release said.

The meeting was attended by chief ministers of all provinces and GB, services chiefs, and chief secretaries of the provinces along with other senior civilian, military, and law enforcement agencies officers.

"Operation Azm-e-Istehkam will integrate and synergise multiple lines of effort to combat the menaces of extremism and terrorism in a comprehensive and decisive manner," the PMO blurb said.

During the meeting, the premier stressed that the Operation Azm-e-Istahkam would play a crucial role in countering terrorism threats in the country. "Diplomatic efforts will be intensified to root out terrorist organizations," the PM said.

The forum reiterated that the fight against extremism and terrorism is Pakistain's own and vowed not to allow anyone to challenge the writ of the state.

In the meeting, measures to ensure foolproof security for Chinese citizens were also reviewed, reflecting the government's commitment to the safety of foreign nationals in Pakistain.

Repaying a debt with blood: Israeli doctor saved Sinwar, nephew killed on Oct. 7
[JPost] Dr. Yuval Bitton treated Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in a prison clinic in 2004, saving his life with a brain tumor diagnosis and facilitating an immediate transfer to the hospital.

Nineteen years later, Bitton’s nephew was killed by terrorists on October 7 in an attack orchestrated by the now-Hamas leader, he told CNN.

Bitton was employed as a dentist at Nafha Prison when he met Sinwar, who was serving four life sentences for the abduction and murder of two IDF soldiers.

The terror leader never completed his sentences, having been freed as part of a 2011 prisoner-hostage exchange that saw some 1,000 terrorists released in exchange for Gilad Shalit.

Bitton told CNN he felt he knew the attack was coming and immediately knew who was behind the devastating murders of more than 1,200 people.

"I know the person who planned and conceived and initiated this criminal attack," Bitton said. "I have known him since 1996 — not only him but the entire Hamas leadership in Gaza — and it was clear to me that this is what they were planning."

In 2004, Sinwar reportedly appeared before the doctor complaining of neck pain and a loss of balance.

"When he explained to me what was happening to him, I diagnosed it as a stroke, and together with the general practitioner, we decided to take him to the hospital," Bitton said. "He arrived at the hospital, the diagnosis was that he had an abscess in the brain, and he was operated on that day, thus saving his life — because if it had exploded, he would have died."

The terrorist leader allegedly acknowledged Bitton’s role in saving his life at the time and later promised during his 2011 release that he would repay the debt he owed to him.

"He also told me that on the day he was released in [Gilad] Shalit’s deal in 2011 that he owed me his life, and one day, he will repay it."
Repaying life with death

Despite his promise, Sinwar orchestrated the October 7 attacks, which saw Hamas terrorists infiltrate Israel and brutally murder civilians, foreign nationals, and soldiers.

Over 250 people were abducted during the attacks.

One of the victims of the attack was Bitton’s nephew Tamir.

Sinwar "made up for [saving his life] on October 7 in that he was also directly responsible for the murder of my nephew in Kibbutz Nir Oz," he said.

Tamir had been seriously wounded while attempting to fight off five terrorists, eventually losing the battle and being taken to Gaza. Only hours after his abduction, Tamir died of his wounds in Gaza.

I Just Can't Believe it! /sarc
[Gateway Pundit] Chris Cuomo played video on Friday night that shows a Saudi official plotting the 9-11 attacks that killed 3,000 Americans.
Chris Cuomo??!?
The video aired on News Nation and shows a Saudi official plotting the attack in Washington DC.

This is the first time The Gateway Pundit has seen this video.

Chris Cuomo: There’s a story that’s out right now that you have not been smothered with today. The more I think about it, it has been eating at me all day about how blanked up this is. We all remember 9/11. I guess we remember. Maybe we don’t? Maybe we don’t. Maybe time does heal all wounds unless you were directly affected, like the families who are forever scarred and the families of the first responders, etc.

But this CBS video, well, it’s CBS just got a video that supports an allegation that was made in a lawsuit by the 9/11 families that it wasn’t just about Osama bin Laden, not just Al Qaeda. This guy is a Saudi official, and that the Saudi government was involved.

Now, is this the first time we’ve ever heard this? No, but we’ve never given a damn. That’s the part that just finally slapped me today as someone who supposedly cares about what happened that day because I lost so many people I knew and we would never forget, and all these things.

In the CBS video, Omar al-Bayoui,
… a typo? The Rantburg archives names him as Omar al-Bayoumi
whom the FBI says was a Saudi operative. In the video al-Bayoui is seen casing the US Capitol in Washington DC, the likely target of the Flight 93 operation that was thwarted that day by American passengers and heroes.

The video was found by British police during a raid on Bayoumi’s UK apartment days after the 9-11 attacks.

The film is just being released now. Why is that? It’s been over 20 years since the horrific attacks!
