‘A Direct Attack On Our Democratic Process’: Missouri AG Sues New York Over Trump Lawfare
[ZERO] Missouri Attorney General Andrew Baily on Thursday announced that he's suing the State of New York over what he called a "direct attack on our democratic process through unconstitutional lawfare against President Trump."

"We have to fight back against a rogue prosecutor who is trying to take a presidential candidate off the campaign trail," Baily posted on X, adding "Stay tuned."

While Baily didn't elaborate, last month he accused the Biden DOJ of colluding with prosecutors in various Trump cases, filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request in connection with his investigation.

SUGGESTION
Due to the very abuse we are now seeing called LAWFARE. Acts made by a Still In Office US President should NOT be a Congressional, State, or Local level DA controlled and politically ran legal proceeding.

The US Supreme Court should be in charge, of verifying and assigning an impartial judge and jury. It should be based on a US Supreme Court 7 of 9 vote also.

Then let the Congressional, State or Local level DA
submit their complaints together, in a 1 time, unified manner.

With the trial held within the 12 months of the incident.

FBI knew since 2016 Hunter Biden's team nearly scored $120 million Ukrainian deal while Joe was VP
[Just The News] The FBI learned as far back as 2016 that Hunter Biden and his partners had plotted to set up a new venture in tax-friendly Liechtenstein that would be capitalized by a whopping $120 million investment from the controversial owner of the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings, according to documents obtained by Just the News that have been kept from the American public for eight years.
Toldjaso...!
The mega-deal was not referenced inside Hunter Biden's now infamous laptop or during the 2019 impeachment proceedings involving Ukraine, but was instead chronicled in a trove of 3.39 million documents the FBI seized from Hunter Biden and his business partners during an investigation of securities fraud nearly a decade ago.

The cache of documents was recently turned over by former Hunter Biden business partner Devon Archer to the House Oversight Committee as part of its impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden's conduct.

The new evidence shows the major investment plan was being built at the time when Hunter Biden was serving on Burisma's board of directors and Joe Biden was still serving as Barack Obama's vice president in charge of U.S.-Ukraine policy.

The memos state Hunter Biden was also supposed to serve on the board of the new company called Burnham Energy Security LLC, and it was going to be capitalized in 2015 by Burisma owner Nykola Zlochevsky, who at a time was trying to get out from under corruption allegations in his home country.

Manhattan DA Bragg's office drops nearly all cases from Columbia University's anti-Israel protest
See also here.
[NYPOST] Nearly all the protesters charged with storming and occupying Columbia University’s campus during heated anti-Israel demonstrations won’t face criminal charges, Manhattan prosecutors announced Thursday — drawing outrage from law enforcement and Jewish advocates.

District Attorney Alvin Bragg
...Soros-owned and operated Manhattan DA. Putting vicious and blood-thirsty criminals in jail only makes them unhappy, and they've led such hard lives after all...
’s office dismissed cases against 31 of 46 people charged with trespassing in the Ivy League school’s Hamilton Hall after a dramatic April 30 NYPD raid rounded up protesters on the Morningside Heights campus.

Prosecutors largely cited lack of evidence, such as security video footage, that could tie the students or staff to the building takeover for leaving them free and clear without even a slap on the wrist.

The dismissals quickly drew fury from rank-and-file NYPD officers, higher education officials and Jewish leaders who spoke with The Post.

REPORT: FBI Raids Democratic Oakland Mayor's Home
[DC] FBI agents conducted a raid on the home of Oakland, California, Mayor Sheng Thao on Thursday morning, multiple outlets reported.

Federal authorities executed warrants at the residence of the mayor in the city’s Lincoln Highlands area at approximately 5:30 a.m., according to CBS News Bay Area.

The FBI released a statement to CBS saying it was "unable to provide additional information at this time."

The raid "also involves the IRS and U.S. Postal service," a source told ABC News’ Dan Noyes.

Agents were still on the scene at about 9:45 a.m, CBS News Bay Area reported. A San Francisco FBI spokesperson indicated that the agency is carrying out "court authorized law enforcement" at Thao’s home, according to KRON4. Multiple FBI agents were reportedly seen departing the residence carrying boxes and bags around 10:07 a.m.

The mayor is currently the target of a recall effort led by residents who have been concerned about heightened crime rates in the city. The group leading the recall argues that crime has increased after Thao dismantled the city’s police department. "’Lives have been lost, property destroyed, businesses have shut down, and fear and collective trauma are daily occurrences for Oaklanders. We, the concerned citizens, therefore, demand your recall for the sake of our city’s future,’" the group said in a statement.

The FBI and Mayor’s office have not yet responded to requests for comment.

#1  ...No doubt that this had been planned for a while, but it's interesting to me that it happened just a day or so after Her Honor got tagged for a recall election.

It's hard to avoid the thought - and just a thought - that DOJ might have been watching to see which way the wind blew before going in.

#3  Via Hot Air:
After several hours, agents left the house carrying boxes full of evidence. But it turns out Thao's house wasn't the only one in the area that was raided today. Three other locations were connected to a company called California Waste Solutions, which is the largest recycling company in Northern California.

Home of Mayor Sheng Thao on Maiden Lane in the Oakland Hills
California Waste Solutions at the Embarcadero
Home of California Waste Solutions' Andy Duong on View Crest Court
Home of California Waste Solutions' David and Linda Duong on Skyline Blvd

So what is all of this about? Officially no one will say but some sources appear to be leaking:

An FBI spokesperson told KRON4, “The FBI is conducting court authorized law enforcement activity on Maiden Lane. We are unable to provide additional information at this time.” Jones eventually left the house and declined to talk to reporters.

The raid was related to possible campaign finance violations, a law enforcement source told KRON4.

The local ABC affiliate got a different hint:

But the best suggestion what this might be about (that I've seen) comes from the East Bay Times:

A few miles away, law enforcement officials wearing police vests and U.S. Postal Insp ection uniforms were seen outside a home on the 12500 block of Skyline Boulevard, a property tied to David Duong. One official there declined to comment.

The Duongs have been the subject of an investigation by the city’s Public Ethics Commission since 2020 over allegations they used “straw donors,” or obscure third-party entities, to funnel money to City Council candidates in past elections.

Thao, a first-term council member at the time, was alleged to have received money through the alleged straw-donor scheme, along with current council members Rebecca Kaplan and Dan Kalb, plus former councilmembers Larry Reid and Lynette Gibson McElhaney.

So maybe part of this goes back several years to the time before Thao became mayor. Also, David Duong, whose house was also raided today, is not only the CEO of California Waste Solutions, he's also chairman of the Vietnamese American Business Association. Last year, that group was involved in an 11-day trade delegation to Vietnam which was led by Mayor Thao. So there are multiple points of connection here but the gist seems to be that Thao may have received funds from the either the company or the association run by the David Duong.

Feds try to delay release of non-public COVID vaccine safety data until at least 2026
[JustTheNews] Biden administration seeks 18-month stay before processing Just the News open records request, America First Legal calls delay request "shocking."

The Biden administration is seeking to delay until at least 2026 the release of COVID-19 vaccine safety data that has been kept outside the government’s normal adverse events reporting system.

The Departments of Justice and Health and Human Services asked U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton this week to issue an 18-month stay that keeps them from having to release the Food and Drug Administration’s data to Just the News under the Freedom of Information Act.

The federal agencies alleged that “exceptional circumstances” exist to necessitate the delay in compliance with the open records law because the FDA is stretched thin by numerous other requests for public information related to the pandemic.

The agency “has been dealing with an unprecedented workload requiring FOIA productions involving approximately 5.7 million pages of COVID-19 vaccine records in a compressed timeframe,” the government argued in the motion filed Tuesday night.

The government revealed it has secured stays in seven other cases seeking records and asked Walton to do the same with the Just the News request. Federal lawyers claim the agency hired several new employees to try to speed up processing but that it can take up to two years to train new staff to process such requests.

“Thus, despite the Branch’s good-faith investment in increasing its future processing capacity by training new employees, its resources remain limited during this lengthy onboarding period,” the government claimed.

Just the News, which is represented in the case by the America First Legal public interest law firm, is opposing the stay and a status conference is scheduled Thursday before the judge.

Gene Hamilton, America First Legal’s general counsel and vice president, on Wednesday dismissed the government’s request as a delay tactic that will keep patients who might consider getting additional vaccine boosters from having full data to make an informed decision.

“This is a typical government excuse which is,’ Oh, we're so busy, we don't have the resources to help provide you, the American people with the information that you need,’” Hamilton told the Just the News, No Noise television show.

“So you just need to wait until 18 months from now. And maybe you'll get to see it, maybe you won't. And what they're hoping to do is stretch this out to the point where everybody forgets about it,” he added.

Hamilton said his law firm found evidence recently that FDA had enough resources to post Internet memes during the pandemic and that it could certainly find personnel or contractors to speed up release of the vaccine safety data that can be important to patients and doctors making health decisions.

Just the News and America First Legal sued the Biden administration in February, asking the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., to order the Department of Health and Human Services to comply with two Freedom of Information Act requests to the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention seeking COVID-19 reactions data kept in a back-end, nonpublic system to the nation’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

VAERS is the nation’s repository for all reports of patients suffering reactions or adverse events – up to and including death – after receiving vaccines.

The suit quoted government officials, news articles and private-sector scientists working with the government on VAERS data who stated publicly there is a private database affiliated with VAERS that includes data that is not accessible to the public but includes important safety information specifically on COVID-19 jabs.

“The public-facing database contains only initial reports, while the private, back-end system contains all updates and corrections – such as a formal diagnosis, recovery, or death,” the lawsuit explained.

Bizarre Pentagon plan to 'reduce military's carbon footprint' that soldiers are furious about
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Military personnel could find laboratory grown meat in their ration packs as Pentagon bosses scratch around for ways to reduce their impact on climate change.

Bioengineering company BioMADE came up with the idea after receiving $500 million in Defense department funding to reduce its carbon footprint.

But their plan to roll out 'cell based meat' has left a nasty taste in the mouth of veterans who have accused Pentagon bosses of treating front line soldiers like 'lab rats'.

'The military's job is forward defense, alliance, solidarity and deterrence, and that's it,' said former US Navy Seal Rob O'Neill.

'All that other stuff is crap. This is typical Washington DC nonsense movement.'

Joe Biden prepares for presidential debate against Donald Trump with five-day Camp David trip
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. We get to suffer the consequences...
heads to the reclusive mountain resort of Camp David on Thursday night to lock himself up with advisers to prepare for next week's debate with Donald Trump
...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons......
With the showdown one week away, Biden, who prefers briefing binders and practice sessions, will be focused on holding Trump accountable on his record and coming up with punchy one-liners to throw off the former president.

Trump, meanwhile, has been trying out new catch phrases and bits of rhetoric, ready to pound his rival with his words.

Next Thursday's debate in Atlanta is believed to be the first time the two men will be in the same room together in four years - since their final presidential debate on October 15, 2020.

Maddow, AOC among liberal media and Dem lawmakers who worry Trump will jail them in 'massive camps'
[NYPOST] Prominent Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
and liberal media pundits have worried about being thrown in jail, "massive camps" and more if former President Trump wins in November.

"For that matter, what convinces you that these massive camps he’s planning are only for migrants colonists? So, yes, I’m worried about me — but only as much as I’m worried about all of us," MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said during an interview with CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for...
’s Oliver Darcy in June.

Trump has alluded to Dire Revenge against his political enemies in recent interviews and told Dr. Phil that sometimes it could be "justified." But he has also suggested his best reprisal could be success.

Maddow said she was worried about the country broadly and said Trump "is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people and to ’root out’ what he’s described in subhuman terms as his ’enemy from within.'"

The former president has also said he would "root out" the "communists, Marxists, fascist
...anybody you disagree with, damn them...
s and the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country."

Former CNN media correspondent Brian Stelter voiced similar concerns during a recent interview on his former network, but acknowledged that jail was an "extreme part of the spectrum."

#4  Projection runs deep in the Left.

Keep building the hysteria till you get someone to assassinate him.

The resultant civil war will not be civil.
