Mr. Tommy Sotomayor on the Real Reasons why Gaddafi was killed

… for his parents until everyone in Libya owns a home.

4. All newlywed couples in Libya received 60,000 dinars from the government & because of that they bought their own apartments & started their families.

5. Education & medical treatment in Libya are free. Before Gaddafi there were only 25% readers, 83% during his reign

6. If Libyans wanted to live on a farm, they received free household appliances, seeds and livestock.

7. If they cannot receive treatment in Libya, the state would fund them $2300+ accommodation & travel for treatment abroad.

8. If you bought a car, the government finances 50% of the price.

9. The price of gasoline became $ 0.14 per liter.

10. Libya had no external debt, and reserves were $150 Billion (now frozen worldwide)

11. Since some Libyans can't find jobs after school, the government will pay the average salary when they can't find a job.

12. Part of oil sales in Libya are directly linked to the bank accounts of all citizens.

13. The mother who gave birth to the child will receive $5000

14. 40 loaves of bread cost $0.15.

15. Gaddafi has implemented the world's biggest irrigation project known as the "BIG MAN PROJECT" to ensure water availability in the desert.

#4  Ghadaffy threatened to unleash the hordes of Africa on Europe if NATO did not give him what he wanted, so he doesn’t get extra credit that it happened after he was killed. He was a vile and vicious ruler, in the same mould as Saddam Hussein, providing training and funding to anti-Israel and anti-West terrorists with a similarly liberal hand. That he died at that time and in that way just accelerated what would have happened to him anyway in another decade or two, at which point Libya would have fallen apart in the exact same way — continuing so until the next vicious warlord killed his way to the top of the heap. Like Saddam’s lads, Ghadaffy’s were not strong and vicious enough to hold what their papa had seized in his youth.

#6  Some friends of mine would still be alive if he hadn't meddled in other countries' affairs.

I gather he tried to make up his own "school" of Islam, with its own documents. I doubt that that endeared him to the orthodox.

I'm told a fair bit of the armaments he amassed decayed away--at least the more expensive toys--but from a distance it feels as though once he died, some of the more portable/rugged stuff started spreading out among Muhammadan mischief-makers over West Africa.

'Thy will be done.' Interslavic language as a tool of 'soft power'
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Eduard Dinikin

[REGNUM] 360 years ago, in 1664, the fierce defender of the old faith, Archpriest Avvakum Petrov, returned from Daurian exile to Moscow. Stopping halfway, in Tobolsk, Avvakum conveyed an unexpected request to the authorities - to talk with one of the local exiled settlers, a man who seemed to be the most distant in his views from the “zealot of ancient piety.”

We are talking about the South Slavic “Renaissance man”, theologian, linguist, ideologist and writer Yuri Krizhanich. This Croatian scientist was invited from Europe to the court of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich the Quiet (to whom Avvakum was once close). The Russian envoy in Austria recruited foreigners for the tsar's service, promising a salary “that they didn’t even have in mind.”

A graduate of the University of Bologna, Krizanich agreed - it seems, not so much for the sake of money, but out of the idea of serving the pan-Slavic cause. And in Moscow he outlined a plan for the conquest of Crimea by the united forces of the Orthodox Russian kingdom, Catholic Poland and their possible allies - the Christian peoples of the south. By the way, in another essay, “Speeches to the Cherkasy,” the Croatian scientist Krizhanich called on the Cossacks and Little Russians to recognize the power of the Moscow sovereign.

But soon the encyclopedist was sent into exile in Siberia for refusing to cross himself from the Latin faith to Orthodoxy.

As Krizhanich recalled, it was not possible to find a common language with the archpriest - despite the fact that both spoke Russian. Avvakum considered even the southern Russian influence on Moscow Orthodoxy to be “corruption” (it was this, in his opinion, that led to the disastrous reforms of Patriarch Nikon ). Krizhanich, on the contrary, advocated for the union of the Catholic and Orthodox churches - it, they say, will help the Slavic unification. The conversation didn’t go well right away, but the “schismatic’s” initial interest in the “Uniate” is quite understandable.

Avvakum, despite all his religious conservatism, is considered not only the first publicist in Rus', but also, in fact, one of the reformers of the Russian language. The author of his own “Life” (the first autobiography in our literature), he used lively and modern speech at that time. And Krizhanich, sitting in Siberian exile, came up with a universal Slavic language, which - as he thought - could be easily mastered by people in Belgrade, and in Tobolsk, and in general in the space from the Adriatic Sea to the same Dauria and Kamchatka.

In a book with a clear title “A grammatical statement about the Russian Jezik,” Krizhanich proposed creating an inter-Slavic language based on Russian. This, we note, was one of the first projects of “conlangs” - artificial languages, more than two centuries before the invention of Esperanto. In the same book, Krizhanich was 260 years ahead of the “Leninist” reform of Russian spelling - in his book, for ease of understanding, he proposed removing extra letters from our alphabet: fitu, izitsa, er, psi, xi, as well as clearing the language of Greekisms and Latinisms.

“The head of all same-tribal peoples is the Russian people, and the Russian name is because all the Slavs came from the Russian land, moved to the power of the Roman Empire, founded three states and were called: Bulgarians, Serbs and Croats; others from the same Russian land moved west and founded the Polish and Moravian or Czech states,” wrote the Croatian scientist. Moreover, Krizhanich believed that “it is not the Russian industry that is the fruit of the Slovenian one, but the Slovenian, Czech, and Lyashian industries are the offspring of the Russian language.”

In the same book, he insisted that “the perfection of language itself is the most necessary instrument of wisdom and perhaps its main sign.” Not so far from Avvakum’s statement: “Zanezhe (since) I love my natural Russian language, I am not in the habit of coloring my speech with philosophical verses.”

The paths of Avvakum Petrov and Yuri Krizhanich diverged in every sense. The Old Believer priest who returned to Moscow, after disputes about faith with the “Nikonians” and mutual anathemas, was again exiled - this time to the Arctic Pustozersk - and executed. Krizhanich returned from exile to Moscow, then went to Poland and joined the Jesuit Order. Later, he joined the army of King Jan Sobieski and died in the fateful battle for Europe for Vienna on April 12, 1683, when the “Christian peoples” drove the Ottoman Turks and Crimean Tatars from the walls of the Austrian capital.

This victory, by the way, was unlikely to benefit the Western and Southern Slavs - from that moment on, the rise of the Habsburg Empire began, subjugating most of the European Slavs.

Despite all the historical vicissitudes, the idea that “peoples of the same root” should be united, if not by one faith, then by one generally understandable and simple language, has survived centuries. In the 19th century, when people's liberation movements intensified in the Slavic lands, including those under Austrian and Turkish rule, the pan-Slavic idea arose. As IA Regnum noted, initially the Pan-Slavists were largely oriented towards Russia. Suffice it to say that the white-blue-red Russian tricolor was taken as the basis for the pan-Slavic flag.

Moreover, in Austrian Galicia - with its center in Lvov (which is now considered perhaps the main hotbed of "Moscowphobia") - books were published not even in some common Slavic language, but in literary Russian. Russophile sentiments on pan-Slavic soil existed not only in Serbia, but also in Croatia. So, for example, public figure Krunoslav Geruts insisted that “Croats even in clothing, customs, morals and the whole way of life resemble Little Russians.”

The emergence of the Warsaw Pact Organization following the Second World War was perceived by many in the West as if the specter of Pan-Slavism (and Moscow-oriented Pan-Slavism) had become a threatening reality. And, as already noted, the collapse of the Eastern Bloc, the collapse of the Soviet Union, the wars in the Balkans between three peoples speaking the same Serbo-Croatian language - all this meant a split in Slavic unity. The attitude of the Atlanticist-oriented Polish and Czech elites towards Russia and Belarus is well known.

It is all the more surprising to observe right now the revival of what Yuri Krizhanich began in the 17th century.

Jerzy Kosinski, an American writer of Polish-Jewish origin, will go down in history not only as the author of two remarkable works - the novel “The Painted Bird” and the script for the film “Being There” - but also as yet a very rare person of art involved in the popularization of the new Inter-Slavic language.

When the author of these lines watched the film by Czech director Vaclav Marhoul based on “The Painted Bird”, listening and, more importantly, understanding the simple speech of the characters in the film, I did not understand only one thing - what language do they speak? Is this the Galician version of “Ukrainian”? Or is this some kind of dialect of Belarusian?

In the end, I “guessed” that it was one of the Rusyn dialects. But I was wrong. It turned out that the peasants speak a recently born language - Inter-Slavic ( Medzhuslovian language ).

I became fascinated by this language. What's good about it? Because you understand him immediately. And, what’s amazing, it’s not just Russians who understand him just as well. And all are Slavs. Or everyone who knows at least one Slavic language well - and this, according to the latest data, is about 400 million people (of which 260 million are “ethnic” speakers, from Russians to Montenegrins).

In “The Great and Mighty” there is a saying - to know something like “Our Father,” that is, firmly and without error.

And here is how the main Christian prayer sounds in the new inter-Slavic language - in Latin, then in Cyrillic.

“Otče naš, ktory jesi v nebesah, nehaj sveti se ime Tvoje. Nehaj prijde kraljevstvo Tvoje, nehaj bude volja Tvoja, kako v nebu tako i na zemji. Hlěb naš vsakodenny daj nam dnes, i odpusti nam naše grěhy, so kako my odpuščajemo našim grěšnikam. I ne vvedi nas v pokušenje, ale izbavi nas od zlogo.”

“Our Father, who art in heaven, let this light shine upon your name. Thy kingdom may not come, Thy will may not be, as it is in heaven and on earth. Give us our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, as we hate our sinners.”

Of course, I immediately contacted one of the main developers of the Interslavic language, Czech philologist and programmer Vojtěch Merunka, by email. I saw his video and liked his deep dive into linguistics.

The conversation, alas, did not work out - just like the 360-year-old dialogue between Krizhanich and Avvakum (in no way do I equate myself and my interlocutor with outstanding figures of the past, but I am only talking about the result). Pan Merunka hastened to express his condemnation of the policies of the Russian authorities, gave a “Central European” assessment of the current situation, but the matter never came to a discussion of the prospects for a common Slavic language.

At the same time, the “case” itself is worth paying attention to. “For us, the inter-Slavic idea is not some kind of political desire to merge with the Russian Empire and become a fighter against European civilization,” Merunka wrote to the author of these lines. But Pan-Slavism of the 19th century (including conditionally pro-Russian one) was not an instrument of “merger with the Russian Empire”, but a way to preserve the independence of the Slavic peoples from the Western elites: then Austro-German, now Euro-Atlantic.

Of course, there are those who actively do not want this, for example, Euro-oriented Ukrainian nationalists, often of Russian origin. The same founder of the “Right Sector” banned in the Russian Federation (a terrorist organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation), a native of Russian-speaking Kharkov, Andrei Biletsky (recognized as a terrorist and extremist) speaks the language of hatred.

But there are others. And direct communication with them through such a means as the inter-Slavic language would be very effective. For example, through the media.

The international television channel RT operates in English, German, Arabic, Spanish and French. It is hardly advisable to create a separate channel for each Slavic state. Especially at a time when most of them are part of the EU, where RT broadcasting is prohibited. But a department in an inter-Slavic language is quite possible for almost one hundred million Europeans. And given the fact that RT blocking in Europe is ineffective, it is necessary. Not all residents of the Czech Republic or Croatia know English, German or Arabic at a high level, but they know Interslavic very well without even realizing it.

And is it so important how Merunka understands his political agenda and how Krizanich understood it, compared to the opportunity to be understood by those who want to understand?

Volchansk is ours! How the Russians gained a foothold on the outskirts of the Wild Field
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Ilya Knorring

[REGNUM] In the Kharkov direction, the most fierce fighting continues to take place outside the city of Volchansk. As a result of the rapid offensive that began on the night of May 9-10, by the end of the month our military had already liberated half of the city blocks, reaching a natural barrier - a river, through which the Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up bridges. The enemy, “ raking up ” reserves, imposed heavy positional battles from street to street. But although slow, the advance of Russian troops continues.

The goal is not only to secure Belgorod, Shebekino and other Russian border cities from Ukrainian attacks (raids on the Belgorod region and artillery shelling often took place from positions near Volchansk and Liptsy; Volchansk was the base for Ukrainian DRGs).

The task is also to liberate the ancient Russian city, which found itself part of “independent” Ukraine due to a historical accident.

The decisive events took place during the anniversary year - the city turns 350 years old in 2024.

On the battlefield, Russia has to remind and prove that these places were developed and developed by it long before the founding of St. Petersburg, or even more so Sochi.

UKRAINIAN RUSSIAN LAND
The Moscow Central Archive of Ancient Acts contains a document confirming the founding date of the city.

In 1674, the Belgorod voivode, Prince Grigory Romodanovsky, wrote to the Chuguev voivode Fyodor Sokovnin :

“By decree of the Great Sovereign, Tsar Grand Duke Alexei Mikhailovich, Nizhegolsky Cherkashenin Martyn was ordered to build a settlement on the Volchye Vody River, and to call his brothers Cherkas from the Little Russian and Trans-Dnieper cities for living; and don’t accept other people at all.”

Chuguev, where the Duma nobleman Fyodor Sokovnin was in charge, was founded during the time of the first tsar from the Romanov dynasty, Mikhail Fedorovich, as an outpost of the Russian kingdom. Now in the Kharkov region, for now under the control of Ukraine, in the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Nezhegol, from where the Cherkashenian (a native of Little Russia) Martyn was called up by royal order, is now a village on our side of the border, in the Belgorod region.

But these lands of the former Wild Field had nothing to do with Little Russia itself.

The land on which the Volchi Vody settlement was founded belonged to the Russian sovereigns since 1503, but was not developed for a long time due to the danger of Tatar raids. Serious construction began only under Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich, when the sovereign allowed Orthodox refugees from the possessions of the Polish king to settle on the undeveloped lands of the Wild Field and the adjacent forests.

Immediately after the founding of the future Volchansk, in the same 1674, the Russian authorities had to carry out a kind of special operation on the new frontier. It turned out that the “Nizhegol Cherkashenian” Martyn, sent to found the border settlement, was hosting “regimental and city people” and “sheltering them from service.” those. does what was directly prohibited by Voivode Romodanovsky: he gives refuge to deserters from the tsarist army, instead of attracting Little Russian Cossacks from the possessions of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Therefore, “Reitar Major Roman Belguzin with various people” was sent from Belgorod to Volchi Vody to restore order.

Coat of arms of the city of the Russian Empire Volchansk, Kharkov province
Despite all the local peculiarities, both the “Cherkasy from the cities beyond the Dnieper” and the officials sent from Moscow equally considered themselves Russian and Orthodox. Those of them who lived in the border areas of the then states were called Ukrainian. Slobozhanshchina was such a Ukrainian land of the Russian state - the current territories of the Sumy and Kharkov regions of Ukraine, the north of the DPR and LPR and the southwest of the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.

Slobozhanshchina was governed by tsarist governors and local regimental commanders. Attributing these lands to the Hetmanate - the supposedly independent “Cossack state” of the 17th–18th centuries, to which modern Ukraine elevates itself, will not work, no matter how much the Kyiv ideologists want. There was no hetman's rule here; it began beyond the Kolomak river. There was Little Russia.

Thus, the city of Volchansk, previously called Volchye Vody, arose on Russian soil and was inhabited by Russian people.

We can learn about who lived in Volchansk in 1682, when the Chuguevian Roman Ozhegov swore the oath of oath to the young Tsars Ivan and Peter, from the Book of the Cross, where all the service people were recorded. It lists both Cossacks and boyar children (the military class, which, among other things, performed guard duty). All are undisputed subjects of the Russian sovereigns. Many of them fought under the command of governor Grigory Romodanovsky in the “Chigirin Seat” - the defense of the Chigirin fortress from the Turks and Crimean Tatars in 1677. Many would fight in the Crimean campaign of Prince Vasily Golitsyn, the favorite of Princess Sophia, and in the Azov campaigns of young Peter I, and in the Northern War.

RUNNING WOLF IN A BLUE FIELD
The Volchanskaya Sloboda itself remained one of the outposts on the troubled steppe border - until the Russian state advanced further to the south. More than a century and a half ago, Archbishop Filaret (Gumilevsky) wrote:

“You just need to note that the ancient earthen fortress of Volchanskaya was located a mile from present-day Volchansk to the northeast. Its remains are still visible today. The construction of the town on the current site dates back to 1688, as the general opinion suggests.” The Church of St. Nicholas was also moved there from the old fortress.

Since the end of the 17th century, the town was already in the near rear - the frontier moved to the Izyum line, the defensive line from the current village of Streletskoye (Krasnogvardeisky district of the Belgorod region) to the city of Tsarev-Borisov (now a settlement in the Izyum district of the Kharkov region).

By the end of the next century, the Russian Empire, as a result of several Russian-Turkish wars, reached the Black Sea. By that time, the lands of the former suburban Cossack regiments had long become “ordinary” provinces.

On April 25, 1780, Catherine the Great established Volchansky district. With minor changes, later called a district, it existed until July 17, 2020, when, already under Vladimir Zelensky, it was mechanically annexed to the Chuguevsky district.

On September 21, 1781, by decree of Catherine II, the coats of arms of the cities of the Kharkov province were approved, including the coat of arms of Volchansk: “In the upper part of the shield is the coat of arms of Kharkov. At the bottom there is a running wolf in a blue field, meaning the name of this city.”

“NOBODY UNDERSTANDS UKRAINIAN HERE”
This is how this region lived all the years, actively interacting with neighboring lands, and there was no hard dividing line separating it from the rest of Russia. The lands of the landowners Rebinder, for example, were located mainly in Volchansky district, and the estate was in Shebekino (now in the Belgorod region).

In Volchansky district was born the popular playwright in Soviet times, the author of “Yarovaya Love” Konstantin Trenev, from whose legacy the remark is most remembered: “Let, let Dunka go to Europe!” It is less known that Trenev’s historical drama “Pugachevshchina” was staged at the Moscow Art Theater by Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko (himself a native of the Little Russian Cossack elders, who turned into nobles of the Chernigov province). Needless to say, the playwright wrote in Russian.

But the events of 1917 again turned a quiet provincial town in the Russian outback into a strategic point on, as they would now say, the line of military contact. Until April 1918, Volchansk was part of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic, which was part of the RSFSR. After the Brest-Litovsk Peace Treaty, the city was occupied by German troops - and it ended up in the puppet “Ukrainian State” of Hetman Pavlo Skoropadsky.

It is interesting that this time - November 1918 - dates back to a document concerning attempts to Ukrainize schools in Volchansky district. Almost all schools then said an unequivocal “no” to the language. The most typical answers in the questionnaires were given:

“1) the Russian language is more familiar to us than Ukrainian;

2) teaching in Ukrainian is completely incomprehensible to us;

3) conduct classes in Russian, considering the transition from Russian to literary Ukrainian, leaving the local language, difficult;

4) not in Ukrainian, which no one here understands.”

And it should be noted that rural schools were surveyed.

FROM THE ARTIFICIAL BORDER TO THE FRONT LINE
During the Civil War, the city was captured either by “independents” - the Petliurites, or by supporters of a united and indivisible Russia from Denikin’s army, or by the Red Army. As a result of the war, the Bolsheviks chose not to restore the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Republic (abolished by a decision of Moscow in February 1919), but to include Slobozhanshchina and Donbass into the Ukrainian SSR.

So the Volchansky district ended up being part of Ukraine, and the neighboring Shebekinsky district, which is not much different from it, became part of the Kursk and then the Belgorod region of the RSFSR. The name of the city, instead of a hard sign at the end (Vovchansk), officially acquired a “Ukrainian” soft sign - Vovchansk.

In 1991, the virtual administrative border became a real, state border, and thirty years later it turned into a front line. The places where Russia's front lines once stood became a springboard for attacks on Russia - just like 350 years ago, during the time of the Wild Field.

First in the spring of 2022, and then now, with the beginning of the May offensive, Russian troops are fighting for the liberation of Slobozhanshchina.

Baksheevka, the native village of the Soviet classic, Stalin Prize winner Konstantin Trenev, became the base for the 82nd Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (which was damaged during the battles on May 25). More and more reinforcements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being transferred to Volchansk from near Kupyansk, Chasov Yar and from more distant sections of the front.

The liberation of the city will mean that it will be at the forefront - just as at the time of its founding, in those days when Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich gave instructions to the governors on the defensive lines: “Together these new cities and the Cherkasy servicemen living in them are captured and plundered do not give it away."

If not Biden, then who? Clans are afraid to change a candidate who has fallen into insanity

[REGNUM] The Western public is vigorously discussing radical scenarios for the development of the presidential race in the United States. The British and European tabloids are especially persistent, actively throwing out “insiders” about the impending replacement of players in the American political field.

We are, of course, talking about Donald Trump and Joe Biden, the two main contenders for the US presidency. Both candidates are not ideal, but the inertia of American politics is such that they will compete for the title of winner of the presidential election on November 5.

The last few weeks have been really tough for Biden. His aging problems only get worse over time. The whole world witnessed firsthand the consequences of the US president's dementia at the G7 summit in Italy, where he wandered confused in the presence of other leaders.

Biden was simply not allowed to attend the “peace summit” in Switzerland, otherwise he would have been embarrassed there too. Instead, the president was dragged to a fundraiser in Los Angeles, where Barack Obama literally had to walk him by the hand across the stage.

There are debates ahead, in which Biden will have to somehow withstand an hour and a half of bickering with Trump, although the most favorable conditions have been created for the current president. The debate will take place on CNN with a Democratic-sympathizing host. Biden will probably be pumped full of powerful stimulant drugs, however, they have a side effect - he becomes too aggressive.

At the same time, Trump demands that he undergo a doping test, which already brings back memories of the 2019 elections in Ukraine, when Vladimir Zelensky demanded the same from Petro Poroshenko.

Democrats have been discussing the possibility of replacing Biden behind the scenes for a very long time.

The original plan was to make him a one-term president, and nominate a successor from the team in 2024, like Kamala Harris or Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. But both of them were never able to prove themselves - their ratings are even lower than Biden’s. This was one of the reasons why the incumbent president decided to seek re-election for a second term in January 2023.

Political tradition also played a role: almost all presidents in US history exercised their right to seek a second term. The last president to serve four years and then voluntarily resign was James Buchanan 160 years ago. And this happened on the very eve of the American Civil War, which he could not prevent.

In addition, Biden generally satisfied all the main clans within the Democratic Party. His team is full of henchmen of Obama or Hillary Clinton, say, the same national security adviser Jake Sullivan or Kamala Harris.

And given the obvious weakness of the president, these clans could calmly resolve their issues behind his back. Therefore, it is not for nothing that Biden’s tenure is called Obama’s third term.

But now the Democratic clans are really worried, because Biden may be so weak that he will simply lose to Trump. However, they woke up too late.

It was possible to persuade Biden not to seek a second term immediately after the midterm elections to Congress in November 2022. But the Democrats performed relatively well at them, and the reason for replacing their president was not ripe.

Since then, all stages of the Democratic Party primaries have passed. Biden had technical opponents, but they did not show much success: 14 million Democrats voted for the president - 87% of all participants in the primaries. Some demonstratively voted against everyone, disagreeing with Biden’s policies, especially in the context of supporting Israel.

Overall, however, Joe Biden received carte blanche from his voters. There is a party congress ahead in August, at which some sensation-seekers expect a replacement candidate.

REPLACEMENT IS NOT BENEFICIAL FOR DEMOCRATS
But it’s worth keeping in mind that it won’t be possible to pull this off beautifully and legally. Even if Biden himself calls for voting for someone else, like California Governor Gavin Newsom or Michelle Obama.

The electorate of the Democratic Party, which already cannot stand its party leadership, will ask a simple question - why vote for someone appointed from above without any vote?

However, there were similar precedents in US history, especially in the 19th or early 20th centuries. The last time this happened was at the Democratic Party convention in 1952.

Then for a long time they could not figure out the winner of the primaries, and in the end they appointed Governor of Illinois Adlai Stevenson, who was the chairman of the convention and did not even participate in the primaries. True, he lost the elections.

Well, American politics has changed a lot since then. Now the appointment of a candidate without any internal party voting, although technically possible, will immediately be met with hostility. And this will simply bury the Democrats in the elections. Not to mention the fact that the candidates proposed as potential replacements for Biden cannot be called very strong.

Michelle Obama has really good ratings. But she herself does not want to go into politics - she is quite happy with the role of “American mommy”. In addition, the population perceives Michelle precisely as a celebrity, and not as a politician. As soon as she becomes a candidate, her ratings will immediately fall.

Things are not much better for Gavin Newsom, especially given the deplorable situation with crime and drug addiction in California.

The lack of really strong candidates among the Democrats was also one of the reasons why Biden was not replaced by any of them.

Therefore, the replacement of the current president’s candidacy at the congress should be expected only under one condition - if he himself physically does not make it and simply dies or ends up in a coma. In all other cases, there will be no sensations at the convention, and Biden will be routinely nominated as a candidate.

Of course, voters present a whole bunch of complaints to the president because of existing problems - low ratings, unresolved foreign policy and domestic crises, dementia... But his forced replacement will make the situation for the Democrats even worse.

TRUMP DEMANDS REFORMS
The picture is similar for Republicans. Trump comfortably won the primaries almost everywhere except Vermont and the District of Columbia, receiving 17 million votes. He continues to outperform Biden in ratings.

At the same time, he is under pressure from legal problems: on July 11, four days before the convention, Trump will be given a guilty verdict. This could be a prison sentence, which is unlikely, or probation - a suspended sentence, or a fine.

In any case, Trump will immediately file an appeal and try to fight back at a higher authority. In the meantime, the court and the case will demand that the verdict not come into force.

Such problems are unlikely to greatly hinder Trump at the party convention: he is also nominated quite routinely. Moreover, unlike the Democrats and their clans, there is no one in the Republican camp who could challenge such a strong candidate.

Even the chairman of the July Republican Convention will be Lara Trump, the ex-president’s daughter-in-law and the wife of his son Eric Trump Sr. has practically turned the Republican Party into his family contract.

Now he is busy consolidating around himself the Republican faction in Congress and the Senate, which are required to prepare in advance to implement a large reform program if Donald Trump wins the election.

June electoral models put his chances of winning the election at 56-66% as he outperforms Biden in key swing states. So talk about Trump’s return and the need to replace Biden will continue at least until August.

But you shouldn't take them seriously. Both candidates were caught in the whirlpool of the election race, from which they will no longer escape.

#3  None of the Dem pols or Michelle would stand a chance. They would have to draft someone like Matthew McConaughey. I don’t think he would be interested in the role of Marxist globalist puppet overseeing America’s destruction. Tom Hanks might be up for it.
