The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have already repelled 30 enemy attacks in the areas of 11 populated areas.
Since the beginning of the current day, the number of combat clashes between the Ukrainian army and the Russian invaders has reached 70.
Almost half of the enemy attacks are in the Pokrovsk direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report as of 16:00 on Friday, August 1.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions our defenders stopped one of the three Russian attacks. At present the fighting continues.
In the South Slobodskoy direction, the occupiers attacked near Krasny Pervy and were repulsed.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance forward three times in the Golubovka area.
In the Liman direction, the invaders carried out seven attacks in the areas of the settlements: Karpovka, Yampolivka, Kolodyagi, Zelenaya Dolina, Torskoye and Dibrova. One combat clash is still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy attacked in the areas of Grigoryevka, Verkhnekamyansky and towards Zvanovka. One assault was repelled, two more clashes are continuing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked towards Belaya Gora.
In the Toretsk direction, four armed clashes occurred in the areas of the following populated areas: Dilievka, Krymskoye, Toretsk and Aleksandro-Kalinovoye.
In the Pokrovsky direction, Russian invaders carried out 34 assaults (yesterday at this time there were 28 - ed.) near the settlements of Popov Yar, Mayak, Razine, Novoekonomicheskoe, Zatishok, Lisovka, Promen, Zvirovoe, Udachnoe, Dachnoe and Zeleny Kut. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have repelled 30 enemy attacks, four clashes are ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled seven enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Aleksandrograd, Poddubnoye, Tolstoye, Maliyevka and Voskresenka.
In the Dnieper direction, the invaders also advanced on the positions of Ukrainian units seven times. One clash continues to this day.
In other directions, no enemy offensive actions have yet been recorded.
