[Korrespondent] The most active fighting continues in the Pokrovsky direction. There, fighting is taking place in the areas of 13 populated areas.
Since the beginning of the current day, 90 battles have taken place on the front. The Russian army has concentrated its main efforts in two directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report on Monday, July 28.
Thus, in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions, six armed clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day.
In the South Slobodskoy direction, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled two attacks in the areas of Green and Red First.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to storm the Stepova Novoselovka area.
In the Liman direction, the aggressors attacked 19 times in the areas of the settlements of Novoegorovka, Karpovka, Zelenaya Dolina, Yampolivka, as well as in the direction of Dronovka and Serebryanka. Five battles are currently ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy tried three times unsuccessfully to advance forward near Grigoryevka and towards Vyemka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one attack in the direction of Predtechnoye was stopped.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked six times in the areas of Dilievka, Toretsk and Rusiny Yar. At the moment, one battle is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy stormed 34 times near the settlements of Popov Yar, Mayak, Novoekonomichnoe, Razine, Lisovka, Chunyshine, Zvirovo, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Novomikolaevka, Gorikhovoe, Zeleny Kut and Dachnoye. Fighting continues in seven locations.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, our defenders repelled five attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zeleny Gai, Zelenoe Pole, Poddubnoye, Aleksandrovgrad, Shevchenko, Voskresenka and Temirovka. Five more clashes are ongoing.
In the Orekhov direction, an attack in the Kamyansky area was repelled.
In the Dnieper direction, our units repelled three enemy assaults.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on July 27, Russia lost 1,000 fighters killed and wounded at the front. The total number of Russian losses is approaching 1.1 million people
