The Russian army is trying to wedge itself between Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka. This is the place where the enemy concentrated its main efforts in the summer, said Viktor Tregubov, a representative of the operational-strategic group of forces (OSUV) Khortitsa, on the air of the telethon on Saturday, July 26.
"If in winter the conversation was more about the outskirts to the west of the city of Pokrovsk and to the south, now the main mission of the Russians is to wedge themselves between Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka and pose a threat to the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd agglomeration from the east, and if possible, from the north," he said.
According to Tregubov, this is precisely why the Pokrovsk direction remains the most intense in terms of the number of battles.
“In fact, the fate of the so-called Russian campaign is being decided there now, and this is the main focus,” the representative added.
At the same time, Russians also place emphasis on the Dnepropetrovsk region.
"This is the Novopavlovskoye direction. But again, despite all their great efforts, something has slowed down for them. They almost believed that they had entered the Dnipropetrovsk region, but at the moment they have not entered, they are angry and are trying to strike villages with UABs. They are throwing UABs, the infantry cannot reach," Tregubov noted.
Let us recall that as of 16:00 on Saturday, there were almost 70 battles on the front. At the same time, the enemy remains most active in the Pokrovsk area - 35 clashes.
It also became known that on July 25, Russia lost almost 1,100 soldiers killed and wounded and more than 300 units of various equipment. The total number of Russian losses is approaching 1.1 million people.
